2001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 11, 2021, 02:15:10 PM
As Inter have sold Lukaku to Chelsea, they need a good striker immediately. They have Lautaro Martinez, I know that. But they need another good striker who will adapt to playing alongside Martinez and to the team as quick as possible. There has been some rumours about them that they are aiming to sign Edin Dzeko. It would be a nice transfer but I would rather a more qualified and young striker.

According to the media they have had a deal for Dzeko for 2 years  Roll Eyes.

Also, Lautario could leave too. Spurs are pressing them with an offer for 70m €, confirmed by more sources.

Yeah, I've heard about the Martinez speculations also. Tottenham are making a big effort to sign him. But I don't think that Inter will let him go. They are close to signing Dzeko but they wouldn't want to lose their another great player also. Actually, they would make their financial status much better after this transfer. But they should be already good as they have sold Lukaku for an incredible amount of money.
2002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 11, 2021, 02:10:21 PM
Tottenham are in talks with young Inter striker Lautaro Martinez (23) now. Maybe they are thinking of the possibility that Manchester City can still sign Harry Kane this summer and they want to have a backup plan for that. But as Inter have sold Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, I assume that they wouldn't be willing to sell Martinez also.
2003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: August 11, 2021, 01:56:02 PM
First of all, 100 years is a really long time period to be able to predict correctly. Everything can happen but I'd like to share my opinion too. In 100 years, I think that Bitcoin may not even still exist. Because this is the cryptocurrency market and everything is possible. For now, Bitcoin is the number one and it doesn't seem like it will ever change for many people. But they should prepare themselves for that probability also.
2004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the epidemic have a big impact on Bitcoin? on: August 11, 2021, 01:51:51 PM
I think that the pandemic period had a really good impact on Bitcoin price early on. There was a very high demand from people for Bitcoin. And this helped the price increase very quickly and even achieve a new ATH. So, I don't see this period as bad. We're still in the pandemic period and the price has started to climb again.
2005  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: August 10, 2021, 10:03:24 PM
I don't know if there is a reason for Bitcoin or a different cryptocurrency to be bullish in the long run. And I don't think that there is one. It's just about the nature of the market. It's always possible to see market going to the moon. For example, things are going on really great right now. Investors must be quite happy about the situation.
2006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 10, 2021, 09:58:20 PM
As Messi is officially a PSG player now, I wonder whether he will be able to adapt to the team quickly. If he doesn't have any problem with playing with Mbappe side by side, then there will be no coherence problem. He has already played with Neymar at Barcelona so I haven't even mentioned him.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 10, 2021, 09:52:48 PM
It looks like PSG have ended their interest in Manchester Utd midfielder Paul Pogba (28). After signing Messi, they have used their financial power fully. There are even some rumours like they violated the financial rules while signing Messi. So, it seems like just a dream for PSG to go for more transfers.

2009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2021, 01:31:07 PM
The answer is simple actually. Because Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency which makes people a lot of profit in the long run. I myself experienced this before. I made an investment into Bitcoin for a long term and made a great amount of money. For now, the second best alternative seems like Ethereum. It is on a great run nowadays also.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 10, 2021, 01:26:43 PM
I looked at the news recently and saw that Virgil van Dijk is still not fit. If van Dijk is not fit at the start of the competition, we will have a repeat of last year with Liverpool hopelessly out of shape. Manchester City will not lose many points so the championship could be decided before the winter.

I hope that he comes back to the team as soon as possible. According to Transfermarkt, he has bounced back from the injury. And I think that he will be fit in a short time and start playing again. Liverpool defense is having big problems without him. I also wonder whether he will be able to play like the old times. Maybe he won't be playing like that at first but it will change after some time passes.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 10, 2021, 01:22:42 PM
Some sources claim that Roma are really close to signing 23-year-old Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham. As Inter are interested in signing Dzeko, Roma are searching for a good striker. And it seems like the best candidate is Abraham now. Abraham is a promising striker and he would be useful for the team for a long time.
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 10, 2021, 01:18:39 PM
As there are only a few days left to the first week of the new season, I'm quite excited now. I think that Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will win their games. Their opponents are Alaves and Celta Vigo respectively. Each of them will play an away game. But Barcelona have a much more tougher opponent compared to them. Their opponent is Real Sociedad and it is a home game. I have difficulty in predicting the result of this game. Because there will be no Messi from now on.
2013  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: August 09, 2021, 11:04:17 PM
This is the question that everyone wants to know the answer of. Nobody has a certain answer of course. We hope that the bull market is back again after being bearish for a long time. Those times were really boring. Now, it feels great to see the price increasing quite fast. I think there are two options:

1. This is not the bull market but a really good rally.
2. This is really the bull market and we should get ready to see a new ATH soon.

I hope the second one is happening now.  Grin
2014  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will not be able to stay above $40K for 10 consecutive days ever again! on: August 09, 2021, 10:58:09 PM
It's been five days since Bitcoin price has gone over $40k. And it continues to increase even more. I think that it will be ten days quite easily considering the current view. It is moving on like it is unstoppable. Hence, I think you should get ready to make it $50k instead of $40k soon.  Grin
2015  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: August 09, 2021, 10:52:49 PM
Most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together because they are actually dependent on Bitcoin. If Bitcoin price starts increasing then we see the market being all green. If the opposite happens, then the market in general is also affected in the same way. It's about Bitcoin's being the most dominant cryptocurrency in the market. For example, if the number one cryptocurrency was Ethereum, then the others were going to be dependent on it.
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: August 09, 2021, 10:46:46 PM
Paper money is getting old day by day. We are in a completely new era now. We are living in a digital world. People have started to use credit cards etc. more than paper money from now on. Because it is easier to carry and you don't need to calculate anything while you are making a payment. You just hand over the card and actually you don't even need to do it either. Now we can use contactless cards which makes things much easier for us.

And in the future, I think that we will stop using paper money for good and start using only digital currencies.
2017  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 09, 2021, 06:08:53 PM
Buying the dip is always the best choice, I agree. I think that people who buy the dip only are the ones who make the most profit compared to the other type of investors. But they make that much profit in a long term of course. HODLers can lose and make lots of money on this road. But in the end, they will reach their goal as long as they are patient and don't panic-sell in this period.
2018  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are panic buying right now! on: August 09, 2021, 06:02:45 PM
This is called FOMO and it is not a good thing actually. Because people will always continue to buy until the price stops climbing. And if the price dumps again, people will make a huge loss. Instead of doing this, people should have a roadmap for themselves. They should plan all of their investments and abide by the rules or goals they set. This is the best way to manage our investments I think.
2019  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: August 09, 2021, 05:55:44 PM
It's a good explanation. But actually, banks have started to work with cryptocurrencies these days. For example, some banks in Texas, USA have started to give place to cryptocurrencies in their system also. And I've heard about some European banks also that they started to do so a long time ago. I think banks are doing this because they don't want to miss the opportunity to attract crypto users.
2020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: August 09, 2021, 05:50:09 PM
We had the golden opportunity when Bitcoin price was around $29k some time ago. It was the dip but we were still expecting it to decrease more. But it didn't happen. The price recovered quickly but this time it got stuck again between $30k and $35k. But a little time after it, things have started to change. Bitcoin price has started to literally skyrocket and reached even $46k today.
