Manchester City must win this match not to risk their position in the standings. Because Liverpool have one match missing also now. If Manchester City lose points, Liverpool will have another chance to drop the point gap. And I think that Manchester City will be winning this match.

Barcelona's next match is going to be against Elche away. And this is not a big match for Barcelona too. Elche had a good form some time ago but they are not very good lately. And as Barcelona are improving their performance day by day, I see no chance for Elche in this match. Barcelona defeated their opponents by very comfortable scores in the recent times. I wouldn't say no to seeing another one here. And it makes me feel good to see Aubameyang scoring goals too.

George Russell said that Ferrari and McLaren have been seeming better than Mercedes in testing. But Mercedes are doing this all the time. They always say that they can have some trouble but it is always the opposite. And according to the last results in tests, Mercedes were at the top. And I really liked to watch Russell being so eager to be at the top too. But this is only the testing phase now and we will see the real efforts by the drivers as of the start of the new season. I would really like to see Russell competing very hard with Hamilton unlike Bottas.

Dortmund must perform with all they have got next season if they don't have any chance for the Bundesliga title now. I know that they are still the second best team of the league and this is also a good achievement for them. But I believe that this shouldn't be enough for a team like Dortmund. They are a very quality team in this league and they also deserve to win the title at least for once to end Bayern Munich's incredible title streak. Because Bayern Munich literally ended the title race for many years.

The look of the top teams in the standings has been really unexpected lately. They lost many points in the recent times and this can cause some other team or teams to catch up with them too. This is not a bad thing of course. Because I wouldn't say no to the competition's getting bigger. But normally, Milan and Inter wouldn't do simple mistakes very often. They couldn't defeat even one of their opponents last two weeks. And Napoli are likely to join them too as it seems. It is incredibly difficult to make a comfortable prediction about the champion team for now.

I really appreciated Montpellier's great comeback after being left 2-0 behind. But Rennes were so determined to win that they scored two more goals and won by 4-2 away. And the Strasbourg - Nice match today is going to determine whether Rennes are keeping the fourth position this week or not. And even if Strasbourg get a draw, it is going to be enough for Rennes.

I also appreciated Arsenal's performance in the Wolves match. It was a really difficult match for Arsenal but I liked the effort they made. Maybe they struggled to score goals easily but the most important part was that they still won this match. But they can go on like this all the time too. I hope that they bring a solid centre-forward to the team this summer. If they do this, they can have a brighter season next time. But for now, their main goal should be to qualify for the Champions League.

I'm glad to see Dortmund having Erling Haaland back again after an injury struck him. Dortmund bombed Gladbach by six goals last week and this was beyond my expectation too. Because they seemed like an inconsistent team lately and we wouldn't know what they could do in that match. And now on this week, they are going to play away against Augsburg. This must be another easy-peasy match for Dortmund hopefully. Bayern Munich's match is before them and it is against E. Frankfurt away. Bayern Munich lost against them home and maybe they might lose points again. Dortmund must benefit from a chance like that if it happens.

It feels really different to witness that the home country for the finale has changed. And its being in Paris, France from now on can be a really great opportunity for PSG. If they really make it to the finale, they are going to play the match in their country. This change happened due to the invasion going on of course but I still don't know whether it is legit to change the stadium in the middle of the tournament according to the rules. But maybe there is no problem about it under this kind of conditions.

Congratulations to Barcelona on their great victory against Napoli! They played at the highest level they could play I think and deserved this victory from the beginning to the end of the match. Aubameyang scored again and he is performing better from now on as it seems. He has started adapting to the game plan of the team. And the more important thing is that they are performing much bigger than before as a team. This is critical news for a team like Barcelona. As long as they have this strong team play, there are not too many clubs that can beat them.

The match week is starting today with two matches. Milan are going to host Udinese first. Even getting a draw is going to be enough for Milan to end the week as the leader maybe but they shouldn't make do with it of course. They already made a big mistake against Salernitana last. I don't expect them to repeat it here. Udinese are one of the teams that are in danger of relegating from the Serie A. Milan should be defeating them and moving on from where they left. And I expect the same thing from Inter to do against Genoa right after that match. They wouldn't get away from the leader by a match like this I think.

As for the Vallecano v Real Madrid match this week, I think that Real Madrid are definitely very close to winning this match. Some members on the forum indicated that Real Madrid stumbled against some easier opponents in the past and that's a really good point. But truthfully, I still don't expect a similar thing to happen here. Real Madrid are having a great season and this is their biggest chance to win the championship. They should lower their mistakes to minimum to do this. And they can start with defeating Vallecano here.

The opening match and the only one tomorrow is Hoffenheim v Stuttgart. Hoffenheim are having a wonderful season and they are in the competition for the fourth position in the standings currently. And this is another comfortable match for them to win without much problem. Hoffenheim are a great team home in the Bundesliga. And Stuttgart have been terrible in matches away. I remember that Stuttgart won by 3-1 home but I don't have that kind of expectation this time. Hoffenheim should be victorious here.

There were one boring and one delightful matches last night. Burnley v Tottenham match was really boring and the result was surprising also. Tottenham couldn't beat them and even lost by 1-0. I have no idea about how this happened but anyway. I don't have big hopes about Tottenham for this season. And Liverpool demolished Leeds by a 6-0 score which was perfect to watch. I watched the first half actually and closed it as the match finished already. But I wish I saw the goals in the second half live too.

We witnessed draws in both of the matches last night. Manchester United had a really big difficulty after conceding a goal first. Atletico Madrid are a great team when it comes to defending an advantageous score. But Manchester United still had very effective attacking players and finally they got the product of their effort in the 80th minute. Elanga has been one of the impressive players at Manchester United. He is a good talent and he scored this goal. And in the other match, Ajax drew with Benfica by 2-2 and they got what they wanted for sure. They would have won too but Benfica still resisted them well.

Another tough match is going to be waiting for Barcelona next week. It is going to be against Athletic Bilbao in a home match but Barcelona are still the favourite highly to win this. And I would like to point out especially one thing that Barcelona haven't been losing for nine weeks straight in the league now. This is really huge and it makes them stronger than ever mentally above all else. Athletic Bilbao have been on a strong run too but I don't expect them to be able to resist Barcelona here.

One thing is certain that the Manchester City victory was very important for Tottenham. If you can't pull yourself together after defeating the most difficult team in the league, then I don't know how you can do this.    Conte has been doing a good job despite the newly ended losing streak recently. Tottenham will be fighting for the fourth spot that's for sure. They still have three matches missing and waiting to be played in the future. And actually, one of them is today against Burnley away. Tottenham should defeat them at all costs.

I can't say that the Chelsea v Lille match was competitive because Lille were horrible when it comes to even finding the target. They got fifteen shots but only two of them were on target. This proves why they couldn't score even one goal here. And Chelsea played comfortably in their home match and defeated Lille by 2-0. This gives the signals that this job is already done. And in the other match of the night, Juventus played an away match against Villarreal. They found a very early goal by Vlahovic but Villarreal equalized it eventually. And this 1-1 result will be for the benefit of Juventus surely.

Neymar is one of the very special players in football history. But the problem is that he gets injured very often. And I have heard a statement from him like that he would think of playing in the MLS as a season is shorter there. Because he doesn't want to play a very long season every year and he wants to allocate more time to some other activities. In this way, he thinks that he can play football for longer years. I respect his words but I really wouldn't like to see him in a league like that so earlier. It is great to watch him in Europe now.
