There are two matches to be played today:

Juventus v Cagliari
Genoa v Atalanta

Juventus have been on the rise lately. They won three of their last four matches and got a draw in the remaining one. They won a tough away match last against Bologna. And Juventus are going to play an easier match now. Cagliari are no match for them and Juventus should be able to maintain their performance. When it comes to Atalanta, they got a shocking loss by a huge score against Roma last. They will definitely want to make up for this horrible result. I don't think that Genoa are a capable team to make things difficult for them. Atalanta can destroy Genoa by a decent score.

Atletico Madrid - Manchester United could be a really interesting matchup. Because there is not a big difference between them now in terms of strength. Atletico Madrid are very experienced when it comes to defending their opponents in critical matches. But they haven't been playing like themselves recently. They are in a really bad shape now as they have a losing streak of three matches in the La Liga. And Manchester United are on the rise by Rangnick's arrival. But their performance is still not too impressive. In this case, we can watch very competitive matches here. But in my opinion, Manchester United are still stronger than Atletico Madrid now and they can advance to the next round if we don't see big changes.

I said that anything could happen in the Milan vs Napoli match and that was really what happened last night. Napoli were the most performing team in the first half and ended it being 1-0 ahead by an early goal that was scored by E. Elmas. In the second half, Milan tried to give their best to equalize the score but it was in vain unfortunately. They actually scored in the last minutes of the match but it was cancelled due to offside. However, it was a disputable call by VAR I think. And as a result, Napoli managed to win this difficult match by 1-0 away.

Barcelona and Sevilla had good results on the last week in the La Liga. Barcelona played home against Elche and won a deserved 3-2 victory. It would have been by a bigger score difference also but Elche fought back against them really well. And Sevilla managed to defeat Atletico Madrid in a really tough home match by 2-1. As Real Madrid got a 0-0 draw against Cadiz despite their unbelievable dominance, Sevilla are a little closer to them now. And Barcelona managed to decrease the gap to only 2 points with Atletico Madrid now.

I was really happy to see that the Tottenham v Liverpool match was played yesterday. Because it was a really delightful match. Both teams made a great effort to gain a victory in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Liverpool were playing like always but Tottenham's performance was really great compared to before. They were playing like so eager to win that they would have achieved it too if they didn't waste important chances. After Liverpool got a red card, they could have done it actually. By the way, the red card for Robertson was fair but Kane also should have been shown a red card after his very dangerous tackle.

Of course, I'm aware of the big difference. But there must be some reason for Manchester City to insist on Harry Kane as their priority rather than Erling Haaland. If I were in Manchester City's place, I would definitely go for Erling Haaland first and give my best to sign him. In the end, Manchester City have no money issue as they are a very rich team. And Erling Haaland is not some ordinary young player. He is playing this awesome even in his 20s. I can't even imagine his performance in the future unless he faces so big injuries.

Juventus also got an important win yesterday. Their match was a tough one actually. Bologna are not an easy team to defeat away this season. There was only a four-point difference between these teams in the standings. And the match was also very competitive but Juventus managed to benefit from their chances more effectively and succeeded in being the winner by 2-0. They have a decent form these days in the Serie A. Let's see until when they'll be able to keep it up.

I don't think that the biggest match today between Tottenham and Liverpool is going to be played. Because each team are struggling with not only injuries but also covid-19 illnesses. And each of them have important players missing at the same time. In this very poor condition for each team, this match shouldn't be played like the others which are in the same situation. Covid-19 just continues to make all of us sad as we aren't able to watch a PL match properly.

It was a really interesting day yesterday for the Serie A. Because the Atalanta - Roma match ended in the way that I never expected. Considering Atalanta's recent high form and Roma's not being consistent, I was seeing it for sure that Atalanta would defeat their opponent. But interestingly, Roma got a really huge win by a 4-1 result which was mesmerizing. Roma should be able to improve their performance more from now on. This important and big win can help them a lot.

Bayern Munich didn't make anyone surprised by simply ending Wolfsburg with a 4-0 result. They showed their real strength in the second half and scored 3 goals. Lewandowski scored another goal in this match and maintained his superb performance. And today, Dortmund are going to play away against Hertha. This should be a comfortable match for them hopefully. They can continue to win too and keep the point difference with Bayern Munich.

The next round is approaching and we could watch an enjoyable match in four days I think. Monaco are going to be having a home match against Rennes. There is no very clear favourite side in this match as both teams can defeat the other one. But Rennes are in a better condition than Monaco as they are 5 points ahead of Monaco and they are at the third place now. Monaco were doing good until the PSG match and they lost that match. Rennes also lost their last match to Nice by 2-1 home. It can be a really competitive match that both teams are scoring in.

And the reasons why their priority is Harry Kane could be like this:

- Harry Kane would cost them much lower than Erling Haaland.
- Harry Kane is already very accustomed to playing in the English Premier League and he has had great statistics in the recent years. But they don't know if Erling Haaland would perform at the level he performs at Dortmund in the worst case.

Harry Kane is a very experienced forward and Manchester City would benefit from his experience a lot in the Champions League also.

While Liverpool were proving me right about getting a win by at least two-goal difference, Chelsea really disappointed me. I know that Chelsea have been getting this kind of results lately. But they could really have won this actually. Especially the absence of Werner and Lukaku made things more difficult for them to score. Everton still succeeded in getting one point despite their horrible form lately.

There is only one match in the La Liga tomorrow night and it is the opening one between Celta Vigo and Espanyol. To be honest, Espanyol seem to be a more reliable team if we take their recent form into account. Especially the last match against Levante was just perfect. But this can be a really tough match for Espanyol. Because I see in the head-to-head matches that they couldn't defeat Celta Vigo away in a league match since 2007. This can make this match really interesting and it seems safer to bet on both teams to score.

I agree that it was really not a very cool thing that they did. I don't remember any time like this that they made a big mistake while the draw is going on. They are already very experienced in this and nothing has changed. Consequently, people start to think like there must be something as a reason behind this action and it could be an on-purpose action. On the other hand, I think like "What could be the reason?" if they really did this on purpose.

According to this news source, Manchester City are really interested in Dortmund's great striker Erling Haaland. However, they are not willing to spend too much to sign him. Maybe the reason why they made a statement like this (if it's not a rumour) could be that they are thinking of signing Harry Kane at the first occasion. Harry Kane is unhappy at Tottenham now and he wants to leave the team as soon as possible. And he would cost less than Haaland to City I guess.

Liverpool are going to have an easy match against Newcastle in Anfield tonight. There is not much time left for the match to start. Liverpool have some crucial players who have got coronavirus unfortunately like Fabinho and Virgil van Dijk. They are going to be weaker in defense but it shouldn't affect them much in this comfortable match. Newcastle are so terrible now that they have no chance here. I reckon that Liverpool can beat them by a two-goal difference in the worse case.

I'm looking forward to watching the enormous match between Milan and Napoli in San Siro on this Sunday. There is no clear favourite team in a match like this of course. Even though Napoli have been in a worse shape than Milan in the recent times, their levels of strength are very similar to each other this season. Maybe Milan seem to have an advantage of playing home but anything can happen in a match like this I think. If I place a bet on something, I'd choose "both teams to score" option.

It was a pure dominance by Arsenal in their home match vs West Ham tonight. They totally deserved to win by 2-0 as they had the match under control in the first and second half both. West Ham's being shown a red card streamlined things even more for Arsenal. They hardly found the second goal in the last minutes though but it was a very relieving goal for them surely. Arsenal are at the 4th position now and one point ahead of West Ham.

I agree totally. Neymar is one of the very special players in football history. Maybe we don't see him more often than Mbappe and Messi recently but when he plays PSG's performance goes up much more. He improves the effectiveness of the attacking line of the team a lot. And his performance in the Ligue 1 so far hasn't been bad. He got 3 goals and 3 assists in 10 league matches. PSG need Neymar also to be able to win the Champions League also.
