The second toughest matchup is Manchester City - Atletico Madrid I think. But it might not be called as a tough matchup in fact. Because Manchester City are really dominant in this. Atletico Madrid are having a very unstable season now but their performance in the recent times has been nice at least. They have started solving some of their important problems and this is turning to them as many points in the La Liga for example. But here, they should be aware of the fact that they are most likely to be eliminated by Manchester City.

I think that Leipzig, Atalanta and West Ham are the only teams that can put up a big fight against Barcelona in the Europa League right now. I don't expect Frankfurt to be able to do too big things against Barcelona. Maybe they can keep Barcelona at a favorable level but they wouldn't do much against Barcelona in Camp Nou. And in case Barcelona eliminate Frankfurt, they are going to have matchup against the victor of the West Ham v Lyon one. And most probably, it'd be West Ham.

To be honest, I would have expected a more competitive season this year. But Real Madrid have just dominated the season so far. And this helped them get far away from the other teams in the standings. And most probably, they are going to reach the title without too much problem. Sevilla seemed to be very promising for a long time but they gave up very early. If Barcelona were this much strong much time before, we would have witnessed a huge rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

I also believe that Barcelona would do their best to win the Europa League championship this season. Because they have none other left in their hands now. Real Madrid won the Super Cup in Spain. And Barcelona have already been eliminated from the Copa del Rey. And it is obvious that they won't be winning the La Liga championship either. They have only the Europa League left now. So they would show their best performance hopefully to have at least one championship this year. This would motivate them for next season a lot too.

And it is very crucial for Barcelona to win this match because this is their biggest chance to leave Sevilla behind faster than they expected. Their last head-to-head ended in a draw by 1-1. If Barcelona win, they are going to take the second position from them despite having the same points.

Roma - Lazio ended up with a really interesting and unexpected result I think. I was waiting for them to compete with each other so hard that it was very likely to be a tie match either. But Roma just ended Lazio in the first half by scoring three goals already. And the final score was 3-0. Roma sometimes make people really excited about their performance and give them hope for the future. But it doesn't last long either.  If they weren't this much inconsistent, things would have been much different for them. |

Barcelona are just destroying Real Madrid all over by their incredible effort and the score is still 4-0. Everyone is wondering what has happened to Real Madrid. Bizim durumlar da aşırı farksız değil Rusya'dan. Ekonomimiz zaten çalkantılıydı ama içinde bile bulunmadığımız savaş sonrası daha da kötüleşti. Some news sources claim that the Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could join Barcelona too next summer. Paul Pogba's contract with Manchester United is ending this summer too and Barcelona might afford his demands maybe because of that. But they are still not strong financially now. I really wonder what team Pogba will choose to go. Or maybe he will reach an agreement with his current team for a contract extension. I don't think that he will stay as long as his team don't qualify for the CL.

Leipzig - Atalanta draw can be really interesting I believe. Because each one of these teams are really seeming to be one of the biggest title contenders left now. Leipzig were very lucky that they didn't have to play any match in last round. Because the Russian teams have been banned from European competitions under the management of UEFA. And their opponent was Spartak Moscow. And Atalanta had a really tough draw against Leverkusen. But they still succeeded in eliminating them by a close margin. And in this draw, honestly I will be favouring Atalanta.
