2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 09, 2019, 07:56:28 AM
New Orleans has announced that Anthony Davis wouldn't sit the rest of the season, he'll keep playing.

-snip-
<snip>
Yesterday, they beat another good team which is the Boston Celtics so they really have the talent, people are just underestimating them.
People tend to underestimate them because they (me as well) see that their overall performance was poor compare to other teams. Although it is understandable because Lakers' roster mainly composed of young players, but still, you can't take it as an excuse. If you from the very beginning thst your team is lack of ace players then at least compensate especially in team chemistry.

Their win against Boston definitely gave them hope and composure to continue fighting but the question is how long they can maontain it? The palyoffs is approaching, they should now fix everything before it's too late.
2022  Local / Pamilihan / Re: UNIONBANK LAUNCHES THE FIRST CRYPTO ATM in the PHILIPPINES!! on: February 09, 2019, 05:08:33 AM
Mga kabayan, nabalitaan niyo ba ung sa canada, clients ng QuadrigaCX(canada’s largest cryptocurrency exchange) are panicking over  $250 million dollars in frozen assets after the death of the company’s CEO,  Gerald Cotten. Lahat ng accounts nila nafrozen. Malaki daw chance na hindi na mabawi and money nila. Sabi nung iba baka daw exit scam un. Try niyo isearch si gerald cotten. He is just 30 years old. Hopefully unionbank will be good in this kind of industry.
You post caught my attention so I decided to make a small research for this issue.

I found out that Cotten died in India and there's a death certificate issued by Indian government so there is no chance that it is an exit scam because they have a clear and strong evidence. Hmm, I guess the reason regarding the frozen asstes which which came up to this controversy is this,

Quote
Then came last week’s revelation that QuadrigaCX owes more than $100 million worth of cryptocurrency to its customers but is unable to repay because Cotten had sole control of the private keys connected to those funds. Robertson said in court filings that while she is in possession of Cotten’s laptop, it is encrypted and is currently inaccessible.

How unfortunate for QuadrigaCX customers Sad.
2023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: February 09, 2019, 12:23:23 AM
From my point of view, we will see the bottom in the second half of 2019. Here are some reasons for that: previous bearish period lasted 1 year and 2 months, during the second half of 2019 Bakkt will be released and Bitcoin ETF will be approved (I hope it will happen)
I am not confident any longer that ETF and Bakkt can still create hype to uplift the market. Approval of ETF was postponed once again, this definitely affect us because hopes of people are just wasted thus resulting to loss of interest from them. Bakkt in the other hand, was involved in a $50 M scam. The official Bakkt is not the responsibility for this, what happened is that the fraudsters used their name in order to deceive investors. But still, this news will greatly affect its launch and probably got lesser prospective customers due to this incident.
2024  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Earn Cryptocurrency Without Spending on: February 08, 2019, 11:40:24 AM
ayos ang mga method mo kabayan kung paano kumita na walang ilalabas na pera pero nakalimutan mo ata ang bounties at least malaki ang kikitain nila dito.
Yeah! You're right. OP just probably forgot to include this.

Regarding about this matter, for me this is much profitable and worth of your time. Imagine, you just only need to post usually about 25 quality posts per week and earn up to .005 btc (in my case) but still depends on your rank. But you know what? Sig and bounty campaigns are way better before the long term recession happened, I still remember that I can withdraw PHP 1000 every week with no worries and still have a good amount of savings. Well, the good old times have been passed Smiley. No regrets if pay rates drastically decline as time goes by because I only set this as bonus while learning inside the forum so I don't mind at all.
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have a reason to stay? on: February 08, 2019, 10:25:41 AM
My reason for staying? It was very simple, I would rather lose something big than losing all of it. I already lost a lot of money and this is not the right time to quit (there's no turning back in short) because if I do then that's the moment that I can be considered a real loser which I don't want to happen. I know that the market is not significantly improving 'til now which lead others to bankruptcy but I'm still holding on, hoping that one day all of my losses will be recovered plus get sweet profits at the same time Cheesy.

I can't see no problem of continuing our journey as a crypto investor during the bad times as long as we can emotionally and financially resist the pressure.
2026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 08, 2019, 03:28:04 AM
This one is bad for the Lakers, Zubac  showed his potential and he made some games to their favor when he is playing, his envergy
on the floor is very impressive but it's their decision, let's wait for their next move.

First trade is a bad move for the Lakers.
Yeah! I'm worrying a little bit for the possible outcome of Lakers' decisions. I sense that instead of having a stronger team their team will get even worse prior to this trading. For me it was so impractical to trade almost all of your good players just for an underrated all star and another player.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 08, 2019, 12:56:46 AM
NBA trade deadline: Lakers acquire Mike Muscala from Clippers for Michael Beasley, Ivica Zubac
What? Then who will be left for Lakers now? (excepet for Lebron of course). Okay, just assuming that they get Muscala and AD then who will be the other two to build a strong first five? I haven't see any player in their tram with great potentials so far, I think of Zubac but unfortunately it is now involved in the trade Undecided.
Report: Raptors trade Valanciunas, Wright, Miles and pick for Marc Gasol
Why? Does Valanciunas is not doing great for his team? For me he does. But well, Marc Gasol is a better center so I don't blame them for trading him, just hoping that the chemistry between each players matched.

2029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin wallet rank on: February 07, 2019, 05:19:47 PM
Dears,
<snip>
There is no standard established for ranking down the list of digital wallets. But if you are looking gor the most popular wallets then we have Coinbase for btc and MEW for alts and tokens. However these two or even only one of them can be considered no. 1 because of the fact that each wallet are not very distinct to one another, they only have different interface, security and supported crypto but they all have same purpose — to store coins.

Anyway, you don't necessarily stick on famous ones (like my examples above). My advice for you is to use local based wallet which is the most trusted in your country. It is a lot more convenient  (according to what I have experienced).
2030  Local / Pamilihan / Re: UNIONBANK LAUNCHES THE FIRST CRYPTO ATM in the PHILIPPINES!! on: February 07, 2019, 09:07:40 AM
Is this happened recently? If its a yes then then how about the btc ATM in Makati? (Here is the source). For this reason, I highly doubt that the ATM launched by Unionbank is the first in the country. Nonetheless, it was a good news for all Filipino crypto enthusiasts like me because we're one step closer to mass adoption once again Smiley. I hope there'll be more btc atms to come and I hope good news like this one continue to surprise us this year 2019.

As what I'ved stated that this is not really profitable.
Take time  to read @Saydia

REMINDER: Di po masyadong malaki ang makikita mo
I think it is way further than "di masayadong malaki ang makikita mo", for me it is not profitable and never will be that's why I am not advising others to try this. However, you still have the free will to do so, it's your choice Grin.

During my beginning days, I also tried claming free satoshis in moonbitco.in. Everyday I spend 1 to 2 hrs in computer rental shops just to claim few satoshis. It is interesting at first because of the word "FREE" but as time goes by I lose my interest on it mainly because of small claims and large amount of minimum withdrawal. One day I just realized that I'm not earning at all because my expenses in renting computer everyday is greater than the satoshis I accumulated (around .0001 btc only) so I decided to stop it.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: February 06, 2019, 10:47:40 PM
Do you think a signature campaign makes big difference, for example?
Believe me, it creates an impact to the ones who see their advertisements. Like in my case, I haven't know any legit gambling sites in the industry before so I made a short research about it on the internet, there are lots of sites appeared but the problem is I don't even know if they are legit or not. So to keep safe, I just look here and take into considerations the sites which already have long term campaigns such as Betcoin (AFAIR they run a campaign here before), Bitsler, Bitvest, Fortunejack, Sportsbet and many more. Knowing these, it makes my research a lot faster because this forum helps me to filter the legit gambling sites from the bunch of scams.

Therefore, we can conclude that whether a gambling site is old or new, making a signature campaign for it absolutely attracts prospective customers.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: February 06, 2019, 10:23:30 AM
There is no scientific explanation to this since it's just about attracting luck and doing the right thing in gambling.
I agree, I do believe in facts and scientific evidences supporting presumptions but you know what? I still believe in luck. I don't know why, I guess probably it serves as my last resort when things flows badly (like praying to God when you acan no longer solve your problems) Smiley.

Like what all of you have said, being an optimistic is a good attitude not only as a gambler but a person as a whole because it gives you greater presence of mind while doing things which provides higher chance of better outcomes in the end.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understand addiction! on: February 06, 2019, 09:40:50 AM
They are aware of it but they don't want to be treated, it's hard also in their part to have that kind of addiction. It's not easy for them to dispose that kind of activity and it's already on their mind.
Who doesn't want to grt treated? No one, everybody does. Actually youal already point it out, what is happening is that the they can't rid of the disease even they want to because it already became part of their body somehow thus seems very hard to cure. It's like escaping in a labyrinth but it was too complex to solve.

I know that the struggle is real even I haven't experience this kind of thing since I know someone (one of the celebrities here in our country) who is suffering on such addiction. Now I realized that the hardest opponent you might encounter is your own demon.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doesn't blockchain technology makes gambling easier? on: February 06, 2019, 02:05:05 AM
Aside from that, if you are really a gambler at heart, you can now play those games at the comfort of your home. There's no need to get out and mingle with other people. If you want the solitude from time to time and focus on what you are playing, this will really give you what you want.
I think what you've said is only in favor of those lazy, underage (but it is not advisable of course) and introvert kind of gamblers, how about the spontaneous ones? No doubt that gambling sites provide a lot of convenience for its customers and I deeply appreciate it. However, people like me still prefer the atmosphere, the noise in the surrounding, the presence of opponents and the actual equipment used for gambling (e.g. Dice, cards and roulettes) over just facing your computer because there's a big difference between the hype and excitement they could bring.

Don't get me wrong, I'm super interested to try online gambling because adapting the current technology we have is a must for humans Smiley.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 06, 2019, 12:11:20 AM
I tried to google it but all of those articles and videos were outdated. One of the best crossovers and plays on the NBA history came from him together with Allen Iverson.
Even though I am not yet born when Carter and T-Mac are on its own primes I'm still amazed with their excellent performance during their times. One of the memorable plays of Carter that I can't forget (I alwayd watch gameplay highlights in youtube) is that when he dunk against a very tall player which come from a European team I think. On the other hand, T-Mac also got a good ball handling skills but for me Iverson was better because he can do acrobatic skills in the air unlike him Smiley.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 05, 2019, 04:03:18 PM
I will bet for the Lakers not making the playoffs. But I will also bet Lakers games to win, because of game fixing. We don't know if Lebron will be buying games! Who knows if the commissioner himself will the one to pay!?
I am not considering game fixing at the moment simply because it is not yet The Finals. I can't see the point of spending money just to win a not so crucial game. And besides it is illegal so for sure each teams are scared to commit such violations.
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 234: Whittaker vs Gastelum Prediction and Info Thread on: February 05, 2019, 12:51:41 PM
I think Whittaker will win by late stoppage. No disrespect to Gastelum but Robert has fought one the best in that division, not only once but twice against Yoel Romero. He is in the zone right now and can be seen as unbeatable.
Hmm, we can't easily underestimate Gastelum. He prove to us that he is also not a weak fighter that's why he now have a shot to become a new champion. Remember, he knocked out Michael Bisping Cheesy. Smells a fight woth full of surprises. (Honestly, I got surprised with his winning counter that time)
Interesting to see Adesanya vs Silva. Israel is like a copy cat of a young Anderson, but Israel is very cocky. So let's see how Anderson will perform against this prospect.
When it comes to the style of of knocking out their opponents, I'll go with Silva. For me he is like a child playing with his yoys every time he fights because I can't even see the stress in his face, just chilling. However, he is now old so you can't blame me if I doubt him for beating Adesanya.
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: February 05, 2019, 11:17:17 AM

No one can beat the house, that's only true on games like dice where there is an edge but on skilled based gambling, it's not applicable.
I agree, that's why I don't want to engage with dice games and the alike because I knew that it would be hard to. If we will permutate there are so many combinations possible thus having a small chance to win.

Another tip, prefer games where the fortune is in your hands like poker. You can earn bigger here (if you are only good of course) because you would be the one who control thr flow of your cards.
2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 144: Assuncao vs Moraes 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: February 05, 2019, 07:05:57 AM
To be honest, I'm not familiar with both contenders who are fighting in the main event. This is my first time to hear the name of those two fighters even though this fight is their rematch Grin. (I'm not really a fan of matches in the bantamweight class)

Wow! Aldo has a fight again and I think he can win this fight because his opponent is still young. Well, I admit that Moicano got a nice record but I still go for Aldo.

I thought he was a younger brother of Khabib right after I saw his name, but after I searched his name in Google I found out that he is not related to him at all. This man got a nice record too, how funny to think that the name Nurmagomedov is very good in MMA lol.
