2041  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 1 BTC via Paypal on: June 27, 2013, 01:25:33 PM
paypal account verified ?

I'm actually trying to buy it for a friend.  My wife has a Paypal account that I can use, though, and I'm sure it's verified.

Are Money Paks the preferred method of purchasing?  I can have my buddy go get one of those.  He has no knowledge of Bitcoin and I am going to help him set up his wallet and forum account this weekend.
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Litecoin Freeroll on: June 27, 2013, 02:26:00 AM
Yes it is, but due to the success of our first daily freeroll, we will now have daily 5 Litecoin freerolls!

Sweet!  What time will they start?
2043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Litecoin Freeroll on: June 27, 2013, 02:06:22 AM
Registered, I think... is it the 1000 credit freeroll?

PM me your price.  Thanks!

Wow
Are you so dense you can't even read the penultimate post in the thread?

Sorry, I don't see the point in bitching about people's signatures.  If you don't like them then turn them off.

If you find some people's signatures useful then leave them on, but bitching about advertisements won't change them...

2046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting Picks ( RECORD 139-63-16) on: June 26, 2013, 08:19:06 PM
2 picks for 6/26/2013

Baseball    New York Yankees
Texas Rangers    Texas Rangers ML    2 hours from now    2.16 / +116    ฿ 0.01    ฿ 0.0116

Baseball    Chicago White Sox
New York Mets    Chicago White Sox ML    3 hours from now    1.76 / -131.6    ฿ 0.01    ฿ 0.0076

I hope you are right about the Rangers, but the Yankees sure do seem to have their number lately.  Apparently we pissed them Yankees off in that ALCS a few years back...
2047  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Advertising is Getting Out Of Hand on: June 26, 2013, 08:10:44 PM
Profile ->  Look and Layout Preferences -> Don't Show Users' Signatures

You are welcome.

2048  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Sportsbetting Picks (Record 6-2-0 +$567.00) on: June 26, 2013, 07:53:00 PM
If I didn't gamble all of my winnings away in Poker this week, I'd go with the Yankees ML today, and if they don't hit it then double down on them tomorrow.

They have the Rangers number so I don't see them losing both games.

2050  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGWatcher 1.1.9, the GUI/monitor for CGMiner and BFGMiner to prevent downtime on: June 26, 2013, 02:09:57 AM
I just uploaded 1.1.9. I am hoping it will resolve any reported issues with batch files, among other improvements.

There is also a donation mining option in the Schedule tab. Please consider donating a small portion of your mining time to support this project and CGRemote.

Batch files are working great!  I emailed you a debug on the donation mining... it crashed when I enabled it.

There is also a donation mining option in the Schedule tab, so please consider donating some mining time to this project if you're not one of the dozen users who sent donations.

Great idea!  Users should hopefully be donating.  I understand that you have put a ton of hours into this and it is a great program... well, it will be once all the kinks are worked out, but I have faith in ya Smiley

EDIT:  Just joking!  The new 1.1.9.0 works great now!  Thank you so much for this great program Smiley

Just tried to do the donation mining and it failed though...

I'll be sending you an LTC donation soon.
2052  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your most hated feature in computer games? on: June 26, 2013, 12:31:08 AM
I hate buying a game from the homos at EA Sports, only to have to pay another $15 to play it online, which is the only reason I bought the game in the first place.

Madden is one of the worst series in the history of video games.  In 1996 it was awesome and then I think it has gotten worse every year since.  I haven't played since the disaster that was 2012, though.  Stupid, stupid, EA.  First they killed the best MMO ever made (Ultima Online) and then they monopolized and destroyed every sports game since...

thats like your opinion man.

PM'd... not sure what happened but it worked after I started it up.  Maybe right now it is just requiring me to restart the program after adding a new profile with a batch in it?

2055  Economy / Services / Re: Want to hire CPA on: June 25, 2013, 01:07:06 AM
Not a CPA, but I hold an accounting degree and have 6 years of Accounting experience.  Located in Arlington.
Do you have experience with incorporation, and IRS rules for registering as a non-profit?

Are you looking to take a company public?  I have filed papers before to form an LLC and an S-Corp.  I have never registered as a non-profit before, but do have some working knowledge of the accounting processes behind that.  I also have done business and personal taxes for the past 4 years.

Shoot me a PM when you get a chance and let me know more about what you are looking for and I can see if it is something I could help you with.  If not, I have the resources at my job to find someone that likely can.
2056  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] JIT Group Buy #7 @500+/50 ASICMiner Erupter USB 1.01618 ea. @ 10 units on: June 25, 2013, 12:48:48 AM
Hello everyone.  I'm new here and am really trying to get a loan so I can buy 10 of these.

If anyone can help me out, please see this thread for more details:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=242020.0

I have $1800 in my Scottrade account, but it will take at least a week to convert that into BTCs to participate in this group buy.  I know 10BTC is a large amount of money, but if anyone could do it I would be very grateful.  If anyone wants to do a smaller amount, then I would be okay with that too, and then I could work on getting the rest through Stocks -> USD -> BTC process.

Thanks!
2057  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGWatcher 1.1.8, the GUI/monitor for CGMiner and BFGMiner to prevent downtime on: June 25, 2013, 12:44:29 AM

I'm using 1.1.8.0.c and I can't get it to read my batch file.  It says the path isn't valid.  Played around with it and it just isn't working. It keeps giving me the "I was unable to start and establish communication with CGMiner" error and telling me to check the path and arguments.  Not sure what the problem is because the batch file works fine if I run it through Windows and the path is correct when I edit the batch via CGWatcher.

I got 1.1.6.0 to run my batch just fine.  But it doesn't load the API correctly and then fails.

1.1.7.0 has about a 5-10% chance of running my batch file, and then everything works well.

This has been a frustrating experience, but I am sure the programming is much more frustrating!  Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I am having issues with loading the batch still with the newest version.

Edit: Anyways, I will toss another 0.01 BTC your way if you help me get this to work.  I know it's not much, but I really do appreciate the work you have put into this program Smiley

2059  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: veteranBtc, RTaki Scam (& majinx) on: June 25, 2013, 12:30:15 AM
veteranBtc just sent me a PM in regards to my loan request.  (here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=242020.0 )

Should I be weary of accepting it?

I am new here, but have collateral and really want to get my hands on some ASIC USBs as soon as possible.  I doubt I will recover my costs, but this is more of a hobby and I'd like to recover as much as possible so I want them quicker than I can get them without a BTC loan.  USD loan is easy to get, but I can't turn that into BTC into group-buy as fast.

I'd be interested in this... keep me posted.

Sounds like fun Smiley
