2061  Economy / Lending / Re: 10.1618BTC loan request. Have collateral... not sure how to do this though! on: June 24, 2013, 02:50:56 PM
Yeah, I would gladly provide a lender with a ID proof and pretty much anything they requested via PM, of course.

I fully intend on letting them send the bitcoins to the group buy organizer, and can pay back whatever terms necessary.  I just want to get the miners asap, and if I sell my stocks, then it would be about a 5-7 day turnaround time to get the money from shares of FNMA to BTC.  Figured this would be faster.

Where do I start as far as looking for a loan like this?  I just got into bitcoins last month, and it is way more exciting than the NYSE to me!

Well you are new here  (Date Registered: June 13, 2013) and if you need loan quickly without hassle , I will advice you to provide some ID proof, your ebay account feedback etc and let lender send bitcoins directly to groupbuy organizer/escrow as accounts can be recovered by you easily or it could be a hacked account.

Goodluck.

Yeah I'm done betting on soccer for a while...

NFL & CFB needs to get here already.

Fixed for ya.

REAL FOOTBALL!

Truth!  Although I do much better on betting on NFL than I do on CFB.

Baseball  has been treating me well so far this Summer though.
2063  Economy / Lending / [Resurrected] 9.718 BTC loan request - have collateral! on: June 24, 2013, 02:16:01 PM
Hello,

Figured I would submit a legit loan request.  I want to buy 10 USB Block Eruptors from the group buy here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237661.0;topicseen

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254073.0

Edit:  Will likely switch to the group buy for the AM mini blade 5GH/s (10.2 BTC) for a quicker turnaround time on resell!

Still looking for someone with a brokerage account to escrow!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254739.0;topicseen

The total will come to 10.1618 9.718 BTC  and I intend on mining with the majority of them and maybe trying to sell a couple of them on eBay or Craigslist for a profit.   Will pay back 10.75 BTC.  That's over 10% profit!

Collateral:
I have $1200 in my Scottrade account.  Shares of FNMA would be the primary collateral, as I have 500 shares currently valued at $700.  I don't want to sell any of these shares and could repay the loan by the end of August.  Give me the terms of your loan and a way to give my Scottrade account to Escrow, and I am down.

Update:  I found this form which will allow me to transfer securities to YOUR brokerage account.  This would nullify any malintent of me trying to restore my account, as the shares would be transfered as a GIFT from my account to yours.  After repayment you could transfer it back to me through your brokerage account.

Thanks in advance!

Good luck to ya!

You should try sensory deprivation and/or Psilocybin mushrooms before you kill yourself though.

Those both can cause profound moments of clarity.

If you can get your hands on it some DMT is fantastic for realigning to a path that makes sense internally.
2065  Economy / Lending / Re: In need of .1 BTC Loan over 3 weeks.. on: June 24, 2013, 02:04:01 PM
It is just $10, but if I am going to throw away $10 then I am at least going to give it out to the guy at the gas station who wants me to put a gallon or two in his raggedy ass car.  At least I know what he is going to be using my money on and I can feel as if I actually helped someone out.

You are proposing to make someone feel like they got ripped off...

Well... maybe you need to hang around a different crowd?

If you are seeking compassion then the internet is surely the wrong place.

I think almost everybody at one point has asked themselves about the purpose that they serve on this Earth.  Then the individual has to take a look at their life and figure out a meaning.  My brother apparently could never find that meaning as he killed himself when I was a teenager.

It's really a sad world we live in when they people that we pay to "help" are really just there to take our money.  The same thing happened to me with a doctor.  They either want to talk about God and how awesome he is (I'm an atheist) or they want to hand out pills.  You gotta carve your own path into the woods, sometimes.  Find out what makes you happy, and if you can't find that then find something that makes you less miserable than you are.  Talk to your friends and family and let them know that something is wrong even if you don't know what it is yet.

But if you can't find that then I guess the option of ending it all doesn't seem as selfish anymore since no one else decided to notice enough to keep you here.

If you can't find a reason to live, then I don't know what to tell you.  Ten years ago, I might have felt more inclined to understand it, but I got a wife and a kiddo now and it's very simple to find many reasons to live even on the worst days.

Good luck to ya!  Have a drink and get laid.  That usually cheers me up!

what amd sdk are you guys using when you mine ltc? when i try 13.1 and sdk 2.1 i cant bitcoin mine or ltc mine ive tried 12.8 also didnt work the only sdk i can mine btc on is 2.1 and catalyst 11.6 so far so maybe i should try updating the sdk to get ltc working? im running out of ideas

I'm running a 6950 and 5850 with Catalyst 13.1 - no need to install SDK with that version.

I tried like 10 different versions, and reinstalled Win7 before getting to this point though.  Now I am having no issues except for my 5850 going SICK and DEAD, but I have cgwatcher to help me combat that.

How do we mine this solo?
2073  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: problems with litecoin mining on: June 24, 2013, 12:34:30 AM
Are you overclocked?  I had a lot more difficulty mining LTC when overclocked than BTC just due to the much higher RAM usage on the video card.

i did a fresh install of windows 7 earlier and yes it mines btc with cgminer but ltc cgminer  just crashes

What pool are you using?  Post up your command line.

Is it just opening the command prompt window and immediately exiting or is it crashing after a specific point?

I was getting nonce errors with mine in cgminer, but that was cleared up when I did a fresh install and used 13.1 instead of 13.3

Can you mine BTC with it?

When I first set up my 5850, I could use GUIMiner on BTC, but couldn't mine any scrypt coins.  I did a fresh install of Win7, put 13.1 on there, and then everything worked fine.

2075  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: problems with litecoin mining on: June 23, 2013, 11:42:55 PM
It takes a little bit of work.  I am using a 5850... had a few problems when I first started.  Reinstalled windows, and am using Catalyst 13.1 now with no problems.

Can you get it to work with GUIminer?  If so, then it might just be a problem with your cgminer command.

Hey guys, digging the site.

I don't see baseball on the sports list today.

Yeah I was going to post that earlier today, but then I checked again and it was there.
