It seems like Mane wants to leave after all and that he's already notified the club. He has been one of our best players this season and has played some great games as our no. 9 and it will be difficult to replace him.
Still - considering that his contract expires next season and that he'd be demanding huge wages, maybe selling him will be a good thing for the club. We need a striker anyway, selling Mane will give us enough money to bring a good one in.

Statistics are just statistics, because in football the most productive team will be the winner. Real Madrid is a team that plays effective and productive football. They didn't have too many chances but they also didn't waste chances if they got them. One goal was enough to make Liverpool go home disappointed. The final result or score is more important than statistics, Liverpool has all the statistics in the match took all the possessions, shot on goal, off target, corners, fouls etc however all these don't count with the final score, Real Madrid won the match, there are some matches which involves playing badly and win than to play excellently well and lose, Real Madrid defended well and converted their few goals scoring chances, unfortunately Liverpool all goals scoring chances was saved by Courtois who was very brilliant, oustanding and was capped as the man of the match. |

Majority of football lovers had Liverpool in mind. Frankly speaking, I was counting on Salah to probably score and achieve the trophy from Madrid. But it turned out that they couldn't beat Madrid, and ended up losing the title to their rival. Also, from the match. You will notice that Real Madrid put in their best effort, and secured their territory, which made it hard for Liverpool to penetrate. However, the good news is that Liverpool didn't end the season without any title. As least, they won two trophies. Mane came out with a statement after yesterday's CL loss - saying that he still has unfinished business at Liverpool. Liverpool's 3 forwards are all entering the final year of their contracts and it will be interesting to see what will Liverpool do with these.
