Ten Hag may have been too pushy about signing Weghorst in the last transfer window because Manchester United were in need of a centre-forward. But his performance did not live up to expectations because he really struggled to get a goal in a number of appearances in the Premier League. So of course, Ten Hag should be quite aware that Manchester United need a better centre-forward than Weghorst next season. But because the season is still long I think Weghorst can still work hard to prove something to the manager and his team. The adaptation is good, but not as productive as one might hope.
