1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 06, 2023, 06:20:29 PM
I personally think I prefer betting on sports matches, why is that? because in my opinion, we can analyze sports matches both in terms of team strength, player strength, and there are many more aspects that we can take into account before we choose a team to bet on, even though luck is also a small element of victory, it's different in the casino Most casino games rely solely on luck, without any calculations that can be said to be logical when betting.
But I also play in casinos but not as much as betting on sports.
Sport betting is my area of specialization particularly betting on soccer matches, I knew every details and information about soccer thus it very easy for me to bet on any options available e g BTTS, handicap, correct score 1X or 2X etc, it's even more easier to place a soccer bet at the comfort of our homes using a mobile phone unlike going to a physical Casino, however I don't bet or gamble in Casinos infact I don't know how to gamble in a Casino, maybe later I will dig deep to get knowledge about how to use Casino because I read an article about Casinos being profitable compare to soccer betting.

I believe Manchester city have all it takes to win tonighr match against Chelsea and even though man city is having tough time in making goals score, ultimately the field performance is of a high defensive level, and even though man city may not score an extra goal 3there is no way they will not walk away with the present 1 goal.
Mahrez's 1 goal made it an important win for Manchester City in this match. They pressed in the second half and I think it was a deserved win. on the other hand I'm also quite happy because the odds of 7.0 for my Manchester City win were not wasted and will be one of my biggest wins for 2023 Cheesy
Man City up their game in the second half promptly got the well deserved goal by Mahrez, however Chelsea tried in the first half and we're unlucky to get the first goal through Chukwuemeka whose shot on goal hit the woodwork, l must commend the introduction of Gallagher, Hall and Hutchinson by Potter the trio did play aggressively and attack Man City unfortunately Hall could have gotten an equalizer but played off target, though I think Arrizabalaga could have done better to stop the cross that lead to Man City goal, today's win Man City had close the gap between them and Arsenal to five points with both team yet to play each other in their oustanding match.

I watched highlights of some matches of Arabian league it was very entertaining and their match coverage was very standard including picture quality and they also have VAR installed in all the stadia, I must commend their football authority for providing good facilities now that Ronaldo had signed for Al-Nassr I will be watching some of their live matches if played at a convenient time as well as watching their match highlights regularly, I am looking forward to watching Ronaldo score many more goals in that league as well as breaking more records, he would attract more viewers to the Arabian league because of his numerous fans across the world.

It's the casino's strategy to offer these free services, drinks, food, rooms, etc. to entice people to gamble more. They make gamblers feel comfortable and at ease and also offer the best service and commodities to attract people to gamble more. That's why some casinos give their VIPs free hotel stays, drinks, and other services. The more you spend the more they pamper you. Any business will do this, so you can't blame the casino.
A gambler who visited Casinos should be well disciplined even when offer free drinks in form of enticement else such gambler will ended up bankrupted before leaving the Casino probably will be carried away with the enjoyment offered, personally I will visit a casino only with a fix amount of money budgeted for gambling and wouldn't spend above that amount once I lost the whole fund I am done for the day even with whatever entertainment offered, I wouldn't be carried away with whatever VIP treatment offered to me because my financial discipline.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 05, 2023, 09:46:29 AM

actually I was a little disappointed with the results of the previous match Manchester City was held to a draw by a bottom-of-the-table club like Everton, Manchester City should have been able to take full points in the previous match so that it would be easy to shift Arsenal to the top of the standings, tonight is an opportunity to catch up, namely Manchester City must be able to take full points against chelsea

City lost very important points in the match with Everton, although it was clear that they wanted to win, but they did not succeed. Today they need to beat Chelsea, but you understand that at Stamford Bridge it will not be easy. Chelsea also lost against Nottingham, and in general, Chelsea's series is not the best now, Potter urgently needs to improve the results, otherwise he can very quickly leave the team. 1.7 on City looks good.
Actually Chelsea drew their match against Nottingham, only lost two points instead of the maximum three points, both Chelsea and Man City needed a win in today's match while a win for Man City will close the gap on Arsenal to five points with both clubs having an outstanding match against each other, a draw or a loss will enable Arsenal to consolidate their top position on the table, it's a must win match for Chelsea to stay in contention for top 4 position, they are presently in the 10th position due to their inconsistent poor results, imagine played a draw against lowly rated Nottingham Forest a match they ought to win, I think they needed this match than Man City.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 04, 2023, 07:18:51 PM
What's even more unique is that the match between Arsenal vs Newcastle ended without anyone scoring a goal, so there was no additional number of goals for the two teams and that was also an influence for other teams who were following Arsenal at the top of the standings. One more thing is that Newcastle's own number of points is the same as that of Manchester United even though Newcastle have played 18 times and that will be a huge motivation for Manchester United to take the top three from Newcastle.
Arteta argued that Arsenal should be given two penalties which could help them to beat Newcastle United. Anyway it is a controversy only and the match ended, result is final. Nothing can be changed and both team must move onward to continue fighting for their aims in this season.

With Arsenal, it's a trophy and with Newcastle United, it is a position inside top four in order to have a first season in Champions League in their history. They have never been qualified for Champions League.
The referee's decision cannot be contested, especially now that there is VAR technology to review anything that happens on the field that is outside of the referee's monitoring. Arteta had to be content to see his team draw and lose two points against Newcastle. I think this draw is very fair for both teams, Arsenal have fought hard by dominating the match to get the win, while Newcastle managed to close all the gaps that made Arsenal players frustrated by not being able to break through the solid defense built by Newcastle players. Arsenal and Newcastle certainly want to win in this Big Match match, but whatever the result must be accepted.

There is a contestable penalty decision waive off by  the VAR though referee was not called that was in favor of Newcastle Dan Burn pulled back Gabriel when Arsenal was awarded a free-kick, however the second hand ball wasn't a penalty, I believe Arteta was not contended with a draw that is why he was furious and very bitter with the referee decision which almost resulted into a confrontation with Edward Howe at the sideline, Arteta should know that Arsenal can't win all matches but they have to be very consistent with their performances week in week out to maintain their first position on the table.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 04, 2023, 10:46:30 AM
At least today Newcastle has proven that they are able to hold Arsenal game without a single goal. And this was already a surprise for Arteta because he was unable to penetrate the Newcastle defense. I was quite amazed at what the Newcastle players showed. This once again proves that for the next game, Newcastle can have the potential for a Champions League ticket. It remains only to see the progress of Man City who must be more consistent in pressing Newcastle.
Newcastle really frustrated Arsenal from scoring a goal yestarday, infact the first team to pick a point at Emirate against the gunners this season and prevented Arsenal from scoring a goal, though they played more defensively "Packed the bus" and had one of the strongest defence and gone thirteen unbeaten league runs now, Newcastle also frustrated Man City and Man Utd to a draw in their matches respectively that shows their strong defensive abilities, clinching a top 4 is achievable if the remain consistent in winning average teams and playing a draw with top teams in EPL .
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 03, 2023, 10:18:17 PM
I will watch it in the second half and now the Arsenal vs Newcastle second round match has started again. And it looks like Arsenal are keeping the pressure on the Newcastle defense very well. But the Newcastle defense is really strong.
Arteta seems worried about the outcome of this match even though his team completely dominated attack. But once again, Newcastle's defense is really difficult to penetrate. So it's going to be a goalless draw I think, but let's see for a few more minutes.
Mikel Arteta clearly looked tense in this fight.

But if we talk about Newcastle, we can say that so far Newcastle have played very well and are very different from last season. and many would say that this season Newcastle has truly exceeded any of our expectations.

and finally the match ended in a draw.
Newcastle played defensively it's obvious their game plan is to play a draw, two of their players always marked Saka and Martinelli at the wings thus frustrated every Arsenal plan to operate from the flank, Arsenal were the better side but lack cutting edge at their final third however Newcastle have one of the strongest defence in the league this accounted to lower numbers of goals conceded by the team, though they are also a good team too and on the table is a great achievement by Howe,  a win by Arsenal would have extended their lead and consolidate their top position on the league with 10 points unfortunately drew and earned one point.
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 03, 2023, 12:52:02 PM
I don't like these "big groups" full of people that are wasting time posting such useless prediction...
I can have some hints by reading suggestions from some reputable experts about a sport, I can take information everywhere...personally I prefer basic stats... At the end the final decision or "the interpretation" on a bet is only on my own! I will never delegate to anyone this choice Wink

I also detested group forecast and analysis because of contradicting and divergent views among the group members which often lead to non conclusion and taking a  final decision, I decided to be a lone sport bettor specifically in soccer bet that is my area of specialisation, whatever bet I picked is at my own risk and I only consult other source for more analysis if the need be, I have earning some profits as a lone bettor though I had some bad days too however I well satisfied with decision of betting alone without any external interference.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 03, 2023, 12:41:27 PM
Benford vs Liverpool The players of Benford showed great performance in this match. Liverpool as a strong team did not perform very well in this match. Ibrahim Konaté put Liverpool ahead when Benfod first scored but later Benfod's Y. Wissa and another from B. Mbeumo. A. Oxlade-Chamberlain scored another goal after the second half-time and Benfod won the match 3-1 against Liverpool and went top of the group.
Though I didn't watch the match, I couldn't believe my eye when I saw that Brentford won the game yesterday. I don't know what to call Liverpool this season than to say they are one of the weakest teams in the premier league right now. Aside from their weak defence, one could also clearly see that they are really feeling the departure of Mane which Klopp deemed not so relevant.

They could not increase his pay but they could increase that of Salah. That was a bad gamble, and they are paying dearly for it till today. Nonsense!
I predicted atleast a draw game despite the fact that majority of forum members here and many soccer analysts tipped Liverpool to defeat Brentford, however I had contrary view based on last season 3-3 draw between the two teams and the five previous unbeaten runs of matches by the host will motivate them to break the jinx of 80 years record, overall Liverpool had a bad game and prone to errors and one of those mistakes culminated to the own goal scored by Ibrahima Konate and could have even score more own goals, honestly Liverpool have to up their game to clinch top four spot.

1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: January 02, 2023, 07:40:11 PM
There are many scam projects in the crypto market. In order to make profits and attract investors, many new projects will deliberately exaggerate and say that they will provide investors with the greatest profits. But over time many projects will turn into Ponzi schemes, will cryptographically prove that what they say is false, and always end up disappearing from the market as fraudulent.
I think juicy and bumper offer promised by those scam projects usually entice newbies, unfortunately those newcomers are usually very greedy and carried away by 10X profits thus swiftly invested their hard earned money into those fraudulent projects which later turned scam, infact there some of investors despite the overwhelming evidence that some those projects look suspicious unfortunately still went ahead to invest in them and due to lack of crypto market not regulated many of those projects are having a field day.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: January 02, 2023, 12:46:43 PM
Bear market is unpredictable and Will not end. In 2022 there are so many problems/case that affect the crypto market, such as FTX, LUNA, government issues, and many more. It's really a bloodbath for us. We can't avoid the next bear market in the next year too. But i hope bull Will come in early 2023.
Since the second quarter of 2022 that was when the market entered full bearish run, since then it never recovered, honestly I think the issue of FTX hack had little impact on the market, there had been series of government regulations in the past which couldn't make any meaningful impact on the market, however the bearish market won't linger on or last forever and I am optimistic that 2023 will user in a better market and gradual recovery of the market as we await the halving of bitcoin next year which is synonymous with a bullish market based on past price history.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 02, 2023, 12:15:28 PM
I think Brentford vs Liverpool will be a very good game today. But we will have to wait for some time to see this game. After some time the game will start. I think Liverpool will score 2 goals in this game.  There will be victory in the match. Liverpool is a very strong team from Brentford. I will support Liverpool in this game. Liverpool team has many good quality players.
Both team play a 3-3 draw last season in a cracking encounter, thus I am expecting a similar match today between the two teams which has to be very competitive match, though it has not been confirm if Brentford striker Toney will be sidelined today having been stretched off in their last match his presence will be a serious threat to Liverpool defence, I don't think Liverpool will this match my own prediction is likely another draw match  because Brentford is now on a five unbeaten matches in the league and if they can't defeat Liverpool today they will fight for a draw.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 01, 2023, 05:32:21 PM
Tottenham are having bad times after the world cup break as they got only 1 point from 2 matches against weak teams, that's not looking good for this team and they seems close from losing the European promotion spot, now they have a complicated match next round against crystal balace and they must prepare well for it
Honestly it's seem things are taken turn for the worst as far as Tottenham performance in the league is concerned they won only two out of their last seven matches, there woeful performances started before the World Cup break this is indeed a bad performance and absolutely putting on more pressure on Conte's job, with the look of things Tottenham stand no chance of UCL spot next season because of the improved performances of clubs like Arsenal, Man Utd, Newcastle and Liverpool respectively, it's obvious Tottenham is not likely going to win any trophy again this season, meanwhile kudos to Emery for a making gradual turnaround of Aston Villa since his appointment.
1396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing, and still very broke.why? Is it spiritual? on: January 01, 2023, 08:55:42 AM
I sit-down to wonder why traders who are consistent in trading and also investing still remain very broke despite the effort they put to erradicating poverty, but it still seems like there is some sort of unforseen and spiritual forces controlling the physical.Or should it be foundational curse from the forefathers affecting the present circumstances?or is it that the poverty is inherited? Or is it a gene or chromosome?.These are questions that that I tend to ask.
I don't believe the few successful traders are broke though they are few in number, according to statistics 95% traders loses their fund, trading and investment thrive well if you have a huge capital and don't totally rely on it as your main source of income because you will be force to trade just to met up with your monthly or weekly profit target unfortunately might ended up in losing streaks, however with a reasonable capital and a working strategy just a monthly or weekly target of 5% is enough with compounding such profits will amount to big sum of money in the long run this is also applicable with investment too.
1397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 01, 2023, 08:40:58 AM
Manchester City is really unlucky, actually they should win 2-1 if the Stones's header ball didn't hit the pole. But it's what it's, they're already trying their best and Pickford was made some great saves too. Is there anyone bet draw in this match? congratulations for the juicy @8.00 odds.

I bet on Man City. that's unlucky. but who would have thought that Everton could have scored an equalizer in the second half? statistically, everything belongs to the City. but they did not get the victory.
after all, Everton played with a strong defense. they managed to stem the many opportunities from City. a nice game. and regarding the bet, it's just my bad luck.
I'm sorry you've had bad luck! With a point against City, Everton ends 2022 on a positive note. As far as City is concerned, the next match is more important than this one. There's no point in crying over spilled milk. There is no guarantee that Haaland will solve all of the problems. This season, City has become predictable unless they're headed into big trouble.

Therefore, the gunners have the opportunity to extend their lead.
Man City total reliance on Haaland to score goals for the team would backfire in a long run, it's evident that Man City players are always trying to provide assist for Haaland to score, except only on set-piece e g cornerkick or freekick where any other player can score, what is the essence of breaking highest goal records by Haaland if the club didn't win the EPL title? I think Guordiola should free the team for any player to score when the opportunity open up just like Arsenal who has many scoring options upfront, Everton took their few chances which eventually or luckily got a deserve equalizer the draw game which  proved all soccer pundits and analysts wrong that is why football is certainly unpredictable in some cases.
1398  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: December 31, 2022, 04:45:36 PM
I believe a lot of people here haven't experience poverty thus their judgement on poor people isn't fair enough, it's absolutely hard to convince a very poor person who couldn't afford to feed and eats from hand to mouth and doesn't know where the next meal will come from to invest in crypto, there sense of reasoning will be out of tune with what is on ground as regards investment, so it's a matter of defeating abject poverty first and attaining a financial freedom before thinking of any investment. It's everybody desire to invest any form of investment provided that there is excess and extra funds having catered for their basic needs.
1399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 31, 2022, 10:23:34 AM
And now it is really official.

CR7 to Saudi Arabia.

This is actually pretty sad, one of the best player in the world but ended up playing outside of Europe when he could still be playing in some european clubs. Sadly, If he didnt do that interview then I think he would still be playing in Manchester United or some other european clubs might even want to sign or perhaps loan him during the January transfer.
His attitude has killed his career, in fact Ronaldo is still capable of playing at a high level in European competition. He still has everything to play on the European stage, due to controversial interviews making other clubs in European competition discouraged from signing him. It's sad to see one of the world's class players have to play in a competition outside of Europe, now there is no more Ronaldo and Messi competition. We also won't be seeing Ronaldo brilliant actions again on the pitch, because it's literally impossible to watch the Arab League just to see Ronaldo in action.
Do you think there are clubs who are/is willing to a pay weekly wage of £500,000 apart from Man Utd in Europe? I don't think so except the oil rich Saudi Billionaires, thus the best bet for Ronaldo is to accept Saudi Arabia Al Nassr lucrative offer making the highest paid player in the history of football £177m per year till 2025 is massive. Ronaldo will have the opportunity of scoring more goals in Saudi Arabian league to break more goal records probably the highest goal scorer ever by any player in the history of football before his final retirement, of course he will ensure that no player will ever break his records.

Faes did a great job today scoring two goals for Liverpool. I cannot tell them an own goal, they were accidental ok but the ball wouldn't enter the goal without his effort.
Liverpool managed to get 3 points but when you see Klopp face you know how angry he was with the performance of his team.
In the other game, West Ham continued its negative results and risking to slide into relegation zone..

I would definitely not want to be in his shoes right now as people might just be inclined to blame him for the loss against Liverpool. I think Leicester played well and was on top initially but then got demoralized with the two own goals.
I think Liverpool’s gameplay was poor and I think Klopp knew it too. They desperately need to step up their game if they have any chance of finishing in the top four at the end of the league.
I would only blame Wout Faes for the first own goal, I am sure Leceister City goalkeeper Ward must have called him out to allow the ball get to him unfortunately Faes touch deflected ball into their own net, the second own goal was very unfortunate the ball hit the post and met on rushing Faes and enter the net, overall Liverpool deserve the win having missed clear cut scoring opportunities both Nunez and Salah missed good chances, though with time I think Nunez will become a good striker after working on his finishings in front of goal, kudos to Klopp making it four straight wins and gradually pushing for top four spot.
