Arteta said that they were going to look for other options after Jesus' injury. The only other option they have is Nketiah in the team now actually. He is the only remaining natural striker. Actually even if he plays temporarily in the starting eleven it wouldn't be an enormous problem for the team success. Because they have already played many games without Jesus' great performance and they have been successful as well.
I guess Arteta isn't thinking of signing another striker in January. They can use the money more effectively actually. Besides I don't think they can find a very good striker with the budget they have in their hands.

True, Gabriel Jesus became a player who raised Arsenal's performance. It is a really big shock for Brazil. Nearly everyone was favouring Brazil to eliminate Croatia. I was even waiting for them to do so in 90 minutes. But Croatia defense was just too good to prevent them from scoring a goal. Brazil's goal which came in extra time seemed like the finishing blow but Croatia somehow found the equalizer in the last minutes.
I was worried about penalties as Croatia were full of experienced players. They really did it through penalties. Livakovic was amazing today and he was great in penalties as well by saving one.
Unbelievable win Croatia is just unbelievable. Brazil went 1-0 up with Neymar's first goal of extra time. All football fans assumed that Brazil's victory was guaranteed. But that's football, Croatia equalized in the second half of the period. Brazil-Croatia rivalry ended in penalty kicks. Croatia's victory was ensured by their outstanding goalkeeper. I would not be to sure if Portugal will really not having much trouble to beat Morocco in the quarterfinal. I mean we basically were all thinking the same about Spain before they have faced Morocco a few days ago and we all know how it went down in the end. Even though Spain was the dominating team in that match, Morocco also showed a great performance and they even had a huge chance to win the game in the overtime.
Portugal showed a great performance yesterday but we also have to take into account, that they were extremely efficient yesterday. If you are up with 2 goals after 30 minutes then everything becomes so much easier. I think it will be a very tight game up until the end unless we see early goals of Portugal again.
I do not team that Morrocco stands a chance against Portugal. Portugal in my estimation are the most in-form team in this tournament. In addition they have the finest players in world football. They are the team to be beat in other words they are the favorite in the competition. So far France is the biggest favorite for winning the World Cup. Brazil didn't impress at all against Switzerland and they lost against Cameroon. They also have a bunch of injured players. Maybe Brazil can reach the semifinals at least. I don't believe that England is going to achieve something big on this World Cup. The English team played against weaker opponents and won, but they fail at winning against a better opponent most of the time. I can't see how England could possibly win against France. The rest of the teams seem mediocre, even Spain and Portugal.

The hardest part about the top four for other teams is that Liverpool is still there, and they are not sure what's going to happen. They are at 22 points with 14 games, assuming lets say it became 25 points with 15 games, that's 4 points away from top four.

For tonight's matches I believe Senegal literally has little to no chance. There is visible skill difference between them and England.
