1341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which indicators you use? on: January 19, 2023, 07:40:24 PM
I have been trading for a while now and have hit/miss success with it so I'm interested in which indicators you use the most? For me, right now I use EMA 50, Alligator and MACD/RSI(depends), and I try to make my decisions based on them and on my experience.
I use Pivot point indicator which automatically draws a line on my mt4 chart with RSI indicator to determine overbought and oversold areas, however I always take a trading decision based on Price Action around the Pivot points because candlestick patterns behavior at those zone is also an indicator, an exhaustion candle with a bullish or bearish wicks are factors I considered for a possible price reversal at the either side mostly using a higher timeframe from 4 hour time frame and above, though I haven't perfected my trading strategy yet because this comes with huge period of charting time.

Yeah Casemiro does his job so well and at times he takes one for the team so he is a very good team player. His absence due to suspension in next game against vs Arsenal will be felt certainly to the United fans. As for us it is a good relief as we create lot of pressure from the wings and without Casemiro it will allow a better room for us to create things. I think in absence of Casemiro, ten Haag will likely start Fred who is playing decent recently but is not as good as Casemiro at all.
Manchester United supporters still believe that even with the absence of Casimero who has been a very key player in their midfield will not affect their game against us during the weekend because they say that the Manchester United team that won Arsenal earlier this season did not have Casimero involved, so they have no problems still. I also like to remind them that the Arsenal team that Manchester United won did not have Thomas Partey who has been very good for Arsenal this season in every game he has played, controlling play in the midfield in almost all top games Arsenal has played, he can be a difference in that game. Trossard may also likely play, so we may be seeing a different tactics and line up from Arsenal against Manchester United.
Casimero had been very influencial in Man Utd midfield since he came into the team, I think Erik Ten Hag should have substituted him in yesterday's match earlier to avoid his booking, unfortunately he will miss a very crucial match against the in-form Arsenal, the last match between the two clubs though was won by Man Utd but it's obvious that Arsenal dominated that match unfortunately lost the match, infact some soccer analysts disagreed with the referee decision on Ødegaard infringement against Eriksen which resulted to Arsenal first goal which was later ruled out that it wasn't a foul, I am predicting an outright win for Arsenal on Sunday whose players had rested for a week.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: January 18, 2023, 08:28:00 PM
The price of cryptocurrencies is very unpredictable thus the best bet is to buy and hodl whenever there is extra funds, 2022 has been a turbulent year for cryptos for most period of the year prices was very bearish, our expectations is that this year 2023 will be better than last year, the prices of cryptos started this year on a good note atleast for investors who DCA their investment will be relieved now, I hope the present bullish runs is sustained throughout the year in preparation for halving of Bitcoin come 2024 which is usually synonymous with a high increase in the prices of cryptos.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 18, 2023, 05:38:29 PM
I have to convince myself that it's just a game. Losing is something natural, so there's still the next day to play to win. Of course, you have to think of playing casino just for fun, so you don't feel disappointed, let alone curious when you lose.
Losses in gambling is inevitable once I lose I move on everyday can't be green there are bound to be some red days, I play soccer bets and it's very obvious there are days when upsets is created thus losses will be incurred, however having an edge in term of profit in the long run matter most in as much as I am profitable I wouldn't bother if I lose some bettings, infact I close my App and quit for the day once I had some streak of losses, bearing in mind that there are abundant opportunities ahead rather than continue to chase my losses consequently might lead to losing all my available funds.
1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 18, 2023, 05:27:30 PM
Liverpool will host Chelsea next week in the Premier League, I feel this will be a pretty good opportunity for them to be able to win again, because Chelsea are also in a bad condition under their coach Graham Potter. They are now in 9th and 10th place with the same collection of 28 points. The difference is that Chelsea have gone through 19 matches with 7 defeats, while Liverpool have 18 matches with 6 defeats. Who will be able to pick up all 3 points in this game with their game not improving?
A draw won't favor either side the best bet is a win for either side because both clubs had lose form and had performed poorly in the league both clubs sit in an unfavorable position 9th and 10th on the table with equal points though Liverpool has an outstanding match, a win will push any of them to sixth position on the table with seven points to UCL spot and the present top 4 teams look strong and not ready to relinquish their positions thus both clubs managers has a lot of work if they really want to come back into their usual top 4 position in the league which look more difficult unlike the previous seasons.
1346  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: January 17, 2023, 09:29:23 PM
Having worked over some period of time for a business owner as an employee thus I had learnt a lot and gained some valuable experience thus I will prefer to be a business owner over an employee, as an employee I have a lot of restrictions and inability to put into use some business ideas due lack of funds or time factor, however as an entrepreneur sky is the limit thus I will have the opportunity of applying some of my  conceive ideas and put them into practical use invariably this will lead to expansion of my business all these cannot be achieved as an employee, though it's take a lot of capital and investment to becoming a business owner.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 17, 2023, 08:05:20 PM
~snip~
Arsenal have had little luck in the transfer window this January, with Chelsea beating them to sign targets Joao Felix and Mykhaylo Mudryk. I think Declan would be the perfect for Arsenal because at the moment, they are heavily reliant on Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka. So adding more players of Rice's quality could be vital if Arsenal are to have any chance of maintaining their new-found heavyweight status next season. This one is an English man and a club captain, Westham will definitely respect his choice and not the money a club wants to pay.

Maybe Declan could be an option for Arteta to replace Thomas Parley or Xhaka. but it seems, the transfer fee to bring Declan is quite high. however, it seems he is the ideal addition that the Gunners' young squad needs. at least Arsenal have to bring in some newcomers, both midfielders, especially pure strikers to fill the void left by Gabriel Jesus. because, Arteta cannot only hope for Nketiah, who has not proven his sharpness.

IMO, Arteta really needs additional ammo to strengthen his team in the race for trophies in the Premier League. and if one of their core players gets injured, it will be a problem because their second tier players don't have the same level as the core team. What's more, Arsenal have twice been hijacked by Chelsea in the race for players, namely Joao Felix and Mudryk.
As a Gunners fan, I hope Arteta will bring in the right players to strengthen his team this January.
I also agreed that Declan Rice will be a better alternative to injury prone Partey who had been very influencial in Arsenal current winning streak, the need to sign him becomes necessary to strengthen the squad, Simbi Lokonga and Mohammed Elney had not really live up to expectations especially the former who is a bit slow and sluggish can't cope with pace in EPL, there is the tendency of Arsenal playing in the UCL next season thus their squad needed some new quality signings such as Declan Rice whose wealth of experience will help the club and it's obvious that Arsenal Midweek UCL and weekend league matches next season will exhaust many players thus addition of new players is the best bet for the club.

....
and for the next match, Manchester United will compete against Crystal Palace on January 19. this will be quite an exciting match. Crystal Palace is also a strong opponent for Manchester United.
The match with Crystal Palace becomes trickier for Man United because they also have to think about facing the Gunners a few days later. Arsenal players are also better rested at that point so Erik ten Hag has to shuffle his squad well to compete. It will be a good job for him if MU can get at least 4 points against these two teams.
Arsenal players will have a free week with fresh legs to prepare ahead of their clash with Man Utd on Sunday meanwhile Man Utd plays tomorrow against Crystal Palace only if Erik Ten Hag reserve or bench some of his key players in tomorrow's match else playing another match in another four days ahead might lead to fatigue on those players thus the manager has a major decision to make so as to remain consistent in their performance, of course their recent winning streaks might motivate the club to be among the title contender or better still remain in top 4 position till the end of this season.

Now, the dependency on Haaland has goal Machinery has limited the club to a few goals per match. Manchester United significantly knew that man-marking Haaland and D bryun is the only way to conquer them and so was it.
Since Batistuta, Haaland is the best player I've seen at finding the room to take a shot without the defender challenging him. Because City kept utilising the wings, Haalands wasn't able to play to his strengths. I constantly recommending that people purchase an English CDM because of this. They have really be shaken by the loss and I feel that Pep would do something about his tactics in their next game. Should they experience another loss it is affect their morale for future games.
From personal observation it seem EPL clubs are finding means of curtailing the exploit of Haaland by blocking Man City players who usually link him up with clear cut passes, one of such players is Kevin DeBryne, it obvious that in their last match against Man City Fred and Casimero gave DeBryne thorough marking the only chance he had of the cross he gave Grealish who scored their first goal, Foden and Mahrez were never effective at the wings, truly it's left to Guordiola to change the team tactics else the club will continue with their goal drought in their subsequent matches.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 16, 2023, 10:30:54 AM
I don't know if it is really true but it is claimed that Chelsea are ready to listen to offers for Sterling in this transfer window.

It has been only half a season since he joined the team. I don't understand why Chelsea can be eager to sell him already now. He isn't the reason of their bad form in the end. It is due to the team effort and some weaknesses in specific positions. Now they are trying to fix these by making new transfers. Sterling is still a good attacking player and he can be useful for Chelsea. They shouldn't be in a hurry to part ways with him just yet.
Actually, Sterling's performance at Chelsea is quite good, Chelsea should be able to reconsider Sterling's offer in this transfer window. This is speculation in my opinion, maybe Chelsea want to get their capital back, after they managed to get Mudryk for 100 million euros? Is the club currently in a bad financial situation? It shouldn't, considering Todd Boehly is a rich and successful man.
Chelsea will have to offload or sell some of those players the club had embarked on signing spree how would the club manage the injured players when they are fit and back to the team? definitely the club will want to recover some funds out of their huge spendings thus trimming the squad is inevitable, I don't think players like Abumeyang, Kante and few others will be retained at the end of this season, Sterling is still an important player for the club I don't think he would be sold in summer he is a quality player and with his bulk of experience is added advantage for the club which could assist the young players in the squad.

Any good signals ?
Right now many signals don't work how they use to be
Yesrterday shiba signal long was given out from the trading signals channels still not moving.

I understood If there is no pmp but dont have Even the dmps what's going on ?

Traders going mad now depresion is here.

How long we have to wait ? Feels like we going insane crypto Market should function normally always when price High then it will fall immediately down so when we short we get Nice profit.

The question is Will we stay in crypto If it's not working ?
Unlikely we stay.

Paid signers providers made most of their money from their subscribers irrespective of whether those signers work or not, crypto trading is highly risky and the market defies Technical Analysis due to high volatility which most signer providers rely on, the best bet for OP is to sit down and start learning how to trade, there are tons of trading strategies in the internet try and one pick one work on the strategy practice with it using demo until you are consistently making profits thereafter fund your account with small fund and experience real live trading rather than relying on the so-called signer providers.

During the game against Tottenham,I tried and took good of my time to check for loop holes in the Arsenal team but to my greatest surprise, I found nothing but good togetherness and hardworking players working towards the dreams and desires of winning the Premier League.

Did Pep Guardiola not say he cares less about winning the EFL Cup and also winning the Premier League yesterday? Pep Guardiola is much more Interested in winning the Champions League, which they came close to winning.
That equalizer from Man United was a clear offside no arguments about it.
Their form is still very strong so far and of course looking at their solidity I think this is the best they have had in the few seasons they have been less than comfortable.
Interesting now The gap between Manchester City and Arsenal is 8 points and it's going to be a bit difficult it seems for them to catch up now and I can't wait for the next week because Arsenal will face Manchester United. Will they be able to win again or will Manchester United make another surprise later.
Arsenal again gets impressive results, so it can be said that their performance is very consistent, and they are really strong candidates to win the Premier League this season. The competition in Premier League still has a long way to go, but in the middle of a season like this, it will usually be seen which teams still have a chance in the competition. Tough tests are always in big matches, like the game against Man United next week. I think this match will be something interesting because Man United is the only team that can beat Arsenal this season.
I give credit to Arteta for a brilliant job by raising a young consistent and formidable team, Arsenal always being defeated in White Hart lane with Harry Kane always on score sheet in the previous seasons, however yestarday  match result had proved otherwise meaning Arsenal are EPL title contender, their performance was superb and highly commendable, looking forward to their next match against Man Utd who was the only team that defeated them season, of course Man Utd also enjoying some winning streaks which will surely motivate them for that match, I am an Arsenal fan and I am very optimistic that the gunners will win that match.

I did some online tasks back in 2017 and paid with Satoshis that was my first time of owning Bitcoin, I remembered with nostalgia how my Satoshis was sent to my blockchain.net wallet then, it was a daunting task paid with mrai which is later sold for Satoshis, I felt glad then and willing to continue to perform the task though the total amount of earned was small considering the time spent performing the task, however it really worth trying another means of payment apart from other methods available then which requires some mandatory verification, and much more happy when sold my first Bitcoin to fiat that same year.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 08:21:07 AM
Manchester United showed us once again that ball possession doesn't mean everything. Manchester City played with the ball so much that the ball possession rate was like 70% for them. However Manchester United still made a comeback and beat them by 2-1. It was like Manchester United waited for the moment they concede a goal. It really fired them up and both goals came by only a four-minute interval. Both of the goals they scored were really nice and well-deserved. Because they were already able to find big opportunities to score before these goals.

Manchester United just did their thing here. They beat another big team in Old Trafford thanks to ten Hag's good system against such teams here.
Teams like Manchester United will always give a different perception on playing high possession ball with their counter attacking style of play and quick transition game which proved to be helpful in todays game against Manchester City who held more possession of the ball while United had more goals lol. What a comeback for Manchester United, City's defense was just not solid in tbe second half and cost them all three points.
This edition of Derby really has produced quite an interesting and dramatic game. Very much different from the previous editions. Manchester City did dominate but United were able to maximize the opportunities into goals. I think it is part of the strategy, the style of play that Pep Guardiola applies is ball possession. However, Ten Hag was also quite observant in reading the strategy and he succeeded in instructing the defense to kill Haaland.

Then the process of creating a goal from Bruno Fernandez became a turning point for United to control the game. the actions of the Red Devils players were extraordinary, they played a high level of intelligence so that the City defense line was in disarray.

This victory is a signal of MU's awakening. They are now pushing into the top three standings with a collection of 38 points. MU is one point away from Man. City are in second place and six points from Arsenal who are at the top.

Manchester City has 39 points and there are 5 points between them and the Arsenal. If Arsenal win their match against Tottenham in the London derby today, they will have 47 points. They will make the points difference 8 and will be more comfortable at the top of the league.

Manchester City have fallen short of expectation this season. If they continue like this, they will also lose their second place. I think we will face a very different points table in the Premier League after many years at the end of the season.
Honestly Man City has not live up to expectations this season, in their last few matches, they drew lowly rated Everton, managed a narrow win against Chelsea whose key players has been sidelined due to injuries lost to Southampton and lost to Man Utd yestarday with a single shot on goal this is quite unusual, Man City will play Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves respectively in their next fixtures these are also tough matches, I hope Arsenal win in White Hart lane today so as to consolidate their first position with an outstanding match against Man City next month.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 08:21:39 PM
Manchester United gave a good fight to Manchester city despite that the opportunity that was gotten by Rashford was not utilized well in the first half but that is football you make mistake to learn is only when you always repeat the same mistakes that you are tagged an unskillful and bad player, manchester city got the total possession of the match but the fail to defend the first goal the scored in second half which caused them the victory, the rate at which Manchester United aqualized the game was surprising, congratulations to Manchester United for a well deserved winning.
Manchester united climbing the 4th position is a sure deal for them if they continue playing with this momentum. Manchester United gave a good fight in the first after Manchester City took possession of the match.

I wasn't expecting the win though from Manchester United. I predicted a draw match from both teams. Lucky was damn on Manchester United after scoring an offside goal that the referee didn't blow.
Honestly the outcome of this match surprised everyone many soccer analysts had tipped Man City to win, I predicted a draw, Man Utd played brilliantly infact Marcus Rashford two chances in first half of the match would have settled the match, this is indeed an improved Red Devils who played their best match under Erik Ten Hag today, it's unbelievable that Man City had a single shot on goal throughout the duration of the match, Man Utd midfielders never gave Kevin DeBryne much chance to link up with Haaland who was equally well marked which I believe is Man Utd game plan which was well executed.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 14, 2023, 12:12:12 PM
Quote from: D-law
It's such a wonderful night to watch Napoli
They dominated Juventus as they are supposed to do
Five goals against a struggling Juventus who rely on defends now to score for en.

Congratulations to Napoli for the beautiful displayed they used to achieved three points from Juventus. Juventus performance was very poor from the beginning that made Napoli striker Osimhen to scored the first goal at 14 minutes to give their fans hope of winning the match and to maintain the first position till the end of the Italian league competition. Napoli succeeded to scored 5 goals to defeated Juventus and to alert other strong teams that this season title will definitely work for their favour, and they have all the tools to make it possible in this tournament.
I didn't even expect that this score would come despite Juventus' loss in their meeting with leaders Napoli. It's true that the game that Napoli displayed in this match was extraordinary, unfortunately Juventus couldn't even perform well so that 5 goals were created. 2 goals in the first half and an additional 3 goals in the second half locked their victory until the long whistle sounded. They didn't relax in the slightest even though they had scored a goal from Juventus, they kept trying to get goal after goal until the game really ended. Congratulations to Napoli for their crushing victory over the Juventus team.
It's was embrassing defeat against Juventus after winning eight matches consecutively and without conceding any goal, I wasn't expecting such a wide goal margin against a big team like Juventus, this was brilliant performance by Napoli showing their supremacy over their rivals in Italian Seria A, though Napoli unbeaten record this season was broken by AC Milan in their last fixture, they can back strongly in yesterday's match to prove their readiness in winning Scuddeto this season after waiting for 33 years and consolidate their top position in Seria A with 10 points, it's will be a remarkable achievement if they can be consistent till the end of the season.
1357  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 14, 2023, 07:46:08 AM

To make a living, we must work. In uncertain days like now facing the global economic downturn, a stable job with high income becomes a scarcity. A side job or business seems like more necessary than ever, which can minimize the risks of losing your current job, ending up pennyless. However, a side job/business also takes time and efforts and can never be attained whenever we need it. What did you do or will you do in order to ensure your finanical stability despite all unfavorable circumstances ?
It's always a good thing to have a side job considering the bleak global economy especially in IT industries which had been experiencing massive job cut, alternatively trading crypto or forex is a good side hustling to compliment a full time job, however combining the two will take a lot of time, investing in cryptos especially during bearish run is also a good alternative though it is better for a long term perspective which can guarantee a reasonable profit, setting up a business also requires a lot of time to monitor and flourish it, thus it is advisable to also have a plan B when working full time.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 07:28:10 AM

So how possible the draw?.

We know, on the paper, the city is better than MU, but usually, when playing at home and meet a strong team, MU will fight struggle and do not let the opponent win easy. but, We must don't forget the hattrick Haaland in Etihad stadium in October 2022. If MU can't handle this guy, for sure, Mu will lose again with same different goal even playing at home.

If Man Utd defence can curtail Haaland very well then Man City chances of scoring goal through him will be slim though there are other goal scores in their team however I think their midfielders always send passes to send him.
I think the final score of the match is dicey considering the recent form of Man Utd in their recent matches particularly Marcus Rashford who is currently on scoring streaks, I am not referencing any past history or records between the two clubs but the present form of the two clubs, I think Man Utd will resist or avoid the always embrassing defeats they usually suffer in the hand of Man City today, I am also predicting atleast a draw in that match.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 13, 2023, 05:33:11 PM
I don't want to see Kane playing for Tottenham anymore. It is just wasting his time and nothing more. Just think about it. Tottenham have no success for many years. What would you do if you were in Kane's place? You are being seen as one of the greatest strikers but you are still wasting your skills with an unsuccessful team. I think Kane definitely deserves to win titles before it's too late for everything. He is getting old and this is just the time he needs to leave the team for his sake.
I don't say that he should go in winter but he should leave by the summer. Tottenham can't hold him by force anymore I guess. Levy did it before when Manchester City wanted him. But Kane would be very decisive this time if they finish the season without any success.
I wouldn't blame you if you are fed up with seeing Harry Kane trajectory at Tottenham. Harry Kane has been one of the longest serving players at Tottenham and the club has not been winning trophies. As a player, the main objective is to win trophies and when you don't see the Club performing in that direction for years making a move is the next option, everyone wants to be successful and Kane has given such for the club and deserves to be winning trophies.

It is high time that Harry Kane should move away from Tottenham now. There is no reason for him to stay there anymore. This club is not winning trophies for a long time. No one can say that this is the fault of Harry Kane. He has done a lot for this club. If it was anyone else they would have moved away from the club by now. And Tottenham also said that this season they are going to win the English Premier League title. But so far the indication has been different. I also agree that Harry deserves to win some trophies. And I don't think it is going to happen with Tottenham.

I believe it's not Harry Kane fault to remain in Tottenham while staying in trophy less club, recall his purported move to Man City in the season before the last was thwarted by his club chairman Daniel Levy he was in the verge to sign for City in that summer transfer window unfortunately Tottenham weren't ready to let him go, I think that was very unfair on the part of the club and it's absolutely incredible that such a striker with plenty numbers of goals to his credit at both club level and country is without a medal and trophy couple with the fact that age is no longer on sid,  while no big team is ready to sign him
1360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on revenge trading? on: January 13, 2023, 03:35:33 PM
Of recent, I've come across alot of people talking about traders chasing their losses which at the end, leads to possible blowing of accounts.
I understand that people trade with expections and most times when this expectations aren't met, they try as much as possible to chase after their losses and my questions are
~ what is your take on revenge trading?
~ Do you think people intentionally go into revenge trading or is is just emotional?
~ what will you advise someone making series of losses ?
Revenge trading is the worst thing that you can do to yourself and your account as well. Trading is a test of your emotional intelligence and patience. Things like revenge trading will only make you do hasty decision making nothing other than that. Which will give you even more losses and you'll become even more hungry for revenge and go into even more loss this cycle would continue until you blow your account.
Iam a victim of revenge trading unfortunately it had done more harm to my account than good, after some losing streaks I do embark on revenge trading due to emotion which I think it isn't intentional while deviating from my main trading strategy in most cases I blew up my account and have to start afresh, I believe this often common among newbies In a bid to recover losses swiftly ended up losing more money, though I always trade with the amount of money I can afford to lose, obviously to be successful in trading one has be well disciplined to overcome any form of emotion and also avoid changing trading strategy.
