ManU risked a defeat today after being down by 2 goals and was saved later thanks to 2 goals scored in less than 10 minutes..
Manchester United missed a chance to have the same number of points as Manchester City but they risk now to be surpassed by Newcastle once they win their next match.
Actually not without reason in my opinion. because Manchester United are still playing quite well, especially in terms of ball possession and opportunities. it's just that Leeds appeared very disciplined in this match and of course we also saw some very good saves from Meslier in this game.
This condition is regrettable but still 1 point is much better now even though this is indeed not very good in terms of position because if Newcastle wins then their position will automatically be shifted by Newcastle.
Leeds Utd really have Man Utd a tough time in a match soccer analysts predicted an outright win for Man Utd and secure the maximum three points, unfortunately the visitors gave Man Utd a run of their money thus  conceded two goals and to fought back to earn a draw thus picked a single point out three, infact Leeds Utd hit the woodwork via free kick when the score was 2-1 and could have won the match, I must commend their players and the temporary manager for putting up a brilliant performance at Old Trafford they nearly created an upset and if consistent with that performance they will be safe from relegation.

Manchester United vs Leeds United match in today's game is very interesting. However, a good player of Manchester United, Cashmiro, got a red card and was suspended. It is very sad for Man United. A midfielder like Cashmiro can play in the match.  However, it is certain that Leds United will win today's match.  Because Manchester United is a very strong team so this season match will be very interesting.
There isn't any thing to worry about with regards to Casimero not playing in the match, a perfect replacement will replace him, statistically Leeds Utd had not won any match against Man Utd since 2002 thus the odd don't favor the team, in this season they had won only two out of the 17 matches lost 10 matches and drew 5 matches a bad record indeed so I don't know how they will get a good result at Old Trafford today, they should just play defensively to avoid conceding many goals, or probably they might spring a surprise just like how Everton defeated Arsenal last weekend, I don't think such an upset will be created today.
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: When your passive income equals or slightly above your salary, what would you do on: February 08, 2023, 06:01:39 AM

I have been in a job I detested and although I somehow managed to stay at it for up to 4 years, I didn't even for once let go of my passionate hobby and other passive streams of income I was interested in at the time.
Today, one of my passive interests pays more than my salary. My mind has been yearning for a resignation, but opinions of others and family bears the message of patience with the job I so much detest for reasons ranging from inflation to fear of the unknown.

If you were in my shoes, what would be the best advice you would give yourself and adhere to in this instance?

Well if you don't have much financial commitments I support quiting your job to fully concentrate on your passive income which I believe will yield more earnings, financial obligations in terms paying for bills, goods and services, catering for a family etc, alternatively if your daily job doesn't hinder the process earning your passive income, I think you should continue to endure with your daily job and do both side by side and give your daily job a time frame for proper planning before finally quiting maybe in one or years provided that you have made enough savings or investment.

Arsenal is full of young and vibrant players that are eager to win matches. Bringing up Jorginho as a new signing of   Arsenal is what I don't understand the reason why Arsenal will choose to sign Jorginho. A player that is not performing well in Chelsea, is what Arsenal signed whereby there are other vibrant and young midfielders they can go for.

What am trying to say is that let the big elephant on the tree, fall mistakenly cos it will be a shameful and disastrous thing to behold
Jorginho move to arsenal is not the fans idea rather Mikel Arteta was a big fan of the Italian international who made creatives passes in his country games and perform poorly in his former club. Gunners needs young strong fast players who have the ambition to played a fantastic football style for the team without getting eyes on gigantic contract. I don't think jorginho presence will affect the midfield, rather he will slow the whole game down when it's getting hotter on the pitch.
I had also read the complains about Jorginho with regard to his slow of flow of game, I expect Arteta to correct that anomaly because Arsenal is synonymous with fast flowing possessive football right from the time of Arsene Wenger, though I wouldn't blame Arteta for signing him because all the efforts by the club to sign Moises Caicedo as a perfect replacement for Thomas Partey proved abortive thus the club has to resort to a temporary backup in Jorginho, which I believe will not be fully involved or  feature in most of the matches except if Partey is rested or substituted for him.

I know that Liverpool were still bad in the Premier League while they were doing a great job in the Champions League group stage. However Liverpool still can't improve their performance now. Injuries are also a factor in this of course because they have some important players missing still - like Diaz and Firmino. If they were able to play things might have been better for Liverpool. Maybe they are bad at defending but at least they could have strengthened their attacking area.
This time liverpool is not performing as well as usual. The bad performance in EPL will be greatly affecting the performance of liverpool in UCL. I can take the result from two matches against brighton and wolves gave a significant impact to the liverpool.

Nunez and gakpo have become failed transfers by liverpool. Im glad to see that aurelien tchouameni was waiting for madrid rather than decided move to the liverpool.

Nunez and Gakpo are young talented players. They have been recruited into the team after long planning. Now these two players are not playing well. They are also missing out on easy opportunities. As they gradually become more experienced, their performance may stabilize. But Liverpool's match strategy also has problems with Jurgen Klopp not doing his job properly.

Perhaps Liverpool is still missing Sadio Mane. Liverpool's biggest mistake this season was deciding to sell Mane without finding a suitable replacement. And because of this mistake, Liverpool's situation is still unstable.
Until the likes of injured Virgil van Dijk whose replacement Gomez at the Liverpool defense hasn't live up to expectations returns to the team and strength their defense else the team will continue to concede goals likewise the return of the injured trio Diogo Jota, Firmino and Luis Diaz will strengthen their attack because the newly signed Gakpo and Nunez had not been very consistent in scoring in goals, in fact Gakpo has been the shadow of former self after signing him from PSV Eindhoven, some of those players return date is fixed at mid February however will they be fit to play UCL matches? time will tell.

If you check very well,  old Chelsea players to go to Arsenal doesn't always excel well in the club, especially in the recent times. Take for example David Luiz was doing great in Chelsea but could not uphold it in Arsenal. How about Williams who also suffered same fate and now it is Jorginho, let me see if there will be a difference.
Many Chelsea's player move to Arsenal and their performance drop drastically and last transfer with Willian have impressive performance with Chelsea but he failed totally after becoming Arsenal player. Exactly different with Arsenal player joined to Chelsea have impressive performance like Ashley Cole and he success get many trophies with the blues from Primer League until Champion League.

Current performance, Arsenal still on the top standing position and Chelsea have drastically poor performance and drop to 9th standing position, I don't sure with Jorginho will get failure with Arsenal in this season because they have great chance for winning Primer League tittle after waiting almost twenty years.
Arsenal signed Jorginho as a backup player to deputize injury prone Thomas Partey that means he will not necessarily become a regular starter, perhap in a situation whereby Arsenal is already winning a match Partey can be substituted for Jorginho just for caution, Arteta is trying to manage the squad atleast to win the title this season thus wouldn't give room for any complacency and this has nothing to do with the average performances of previous Chelsea players who later played for Arsenal, though I am not convinced with Jorginho debut performance against Everton last weekend however I hope he will improve in his subsequent matches.

Among the blues' defensive starters, Thiago Silva is crucial. The board is eager to extend the Brazilian's contract by another year because he is one of Graham Potter's most important projects. The team needs all the necessary experienced players in the defense, midfield, and attacking line because they are currently having a bad season, It is crucial that he stays. They are awaiting approval from Thiago's agency for the final agreement, which will take effect in June 2024.

Some time ago, it seemed that Thiago Silva himself had said he was ready to sign a contract extension with Chelsea. he is quite important in Chelsea's defense, even though Chelsea's current performance is far from expectations.
Potter still needs him in the squad. Losing reliable players will certainly make it more difficult for Chelsea to finish this season well.
It's true, at this time Chelsea need players who are experienced, especially when the team is in a declining state, because experienced players can help other players to be able to maintain their mentality amid the downturn they are experiencing. But also not all experienced players can have that, because it requires mentality because they are also needed to build the mentality of the team as a whole.
Thiago Silva had been the most experience player at Chelsea back four he reads the game very well he had a good tackling ability and intercept goal bound passes perfectly and he also wins aerial balls duel in many occasions, though age is not his side, however I also agreed that he deserves a contract extension his wealth of experience and that of César Azpilicueta is still needed in the squad to help and develop the younger defenders in the team, I think both players will be retained at the end of the season after the club must have sold some surplus players in a bid to trim the squad.

Yes, indeed. Manchester City could not beat Tottenham, which in addition received a suspension at the end of the game in his team and had weak statistics throughout the game. Manchester City dominated both attacks and possession of the ball, but... In general, the situation is essentially the same for Arsenal as for Manchester City.
Manchester City's match against Tottenham was very exciting but this was a nightmare for Manchester City fans because they had to accept a very painful defeat, only one goal difference and Manchester City were unable to catch up, Erling Haaland could not move freely and had difficulty scoring goals because it is strictly guarded by Tottenham players.
Every effort by Man City to equalize the lone goal was thwarted by Tottenham at a time the pressure was much on Spur, Mahrez shot hits the woodwork while Haaland couldn't get a through pass after making some good runs towards Spur final third probably because DeBryne didn't start the match, honestly the match live up to expectations from the start to finish, I didn't miss any of the actions as I stayed glued to the Television, I must commend Tottenham for defending that goal and guided against conceding a goal just like what happened to them in the reverse fixture.

Who would have believed that Arsenal biggest rivals Tottenham would be helping them out right now. Tottenham stopped Manchester City today from getting three points.

This still keeps Arsenal lead over city intact as they both lost this weekend and that leaves Manchester United as the biggest winner in this week’s contest.
Thanks to Tottenham for helping Arsenal maintain their five points lead with an outstanding match, I believe all Arsenal fans will have a sign of relief after the match and will have to thank Spur, it was indeed a hard fought contest won by the host, it was a revenge match for the host having lost their match in Etihad in the reverse fixture, though Man City always had a bad record at White Hart lane having played five times in the stadium without a point, meanwhile congratulations to Harry Kane for a breaking all time goal record for the club with 267 goals though trophyless I hope he will win a trophy to his credit soonest.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 05, 2023, 03:21:52 PM
I wonder how Spurs will play their home game against Man City... Bookmakers are giving odds of 4.5 for Spurs to win... Man City have not won three games in a row away from Spurs... After their defeat in January, I think Spurs will put up a fight in the return leg... Although Man City are playing great, I don't think they'll win tonight...

Somehow it looks like Spurs, in my opinion, can win against Manchaster city because Spurs are currently the host, of course, it is a loss of pride when they lose at their own cage, yes, even though basically the performance of the players is not as good as Manchester City at this time, in my opinion Tottenham is in the league England this time is quite good and the match, I myself will bet on the Spurs win against Manchester city with a 2-1 goal difference for the Spurs. I'm really looking forward to Antonio Conte working out a strategy that can open up the Manchester City boys tonight.
Tottenham will go for revenge after surrendering a two goals lead in their last meeting with Man City unfortunately lost 2-4 after a stunning comeback by Man City, I think Spur would avoid back to back defeat against their opponent today, meanwhile the visitor will go for a win to capitalize on Arsenal loss to Everton yesterday to close the gap to two points against the table leader, while Tottenham win will edge them to one point behind the 4th placed Newcastle and UCL spot thus I am expecting Conte to play an attacking strategy thus I am expecting a very tough match which can be won by either of the two clubs.

I was very happy  to joined bitcointalk. org November 7 2020, but I came to discovered one thing in the community that is making me wondering, if bitcoiners don't trust themselves by seeing themselves face to face like the way church members or Muslim members love themselves by seeing themselves face to face after the service. Going to three years now, am trying to see some of the bitcoiners in my area to discuss with them how to join hands together to promote Bitcoin in the society but they said they prefer discussing it online than see each other physical.
Are they ashame to be a bitcoiners? or they are among the people that think Bitcoin is a scam?
Why Bitcoin users are afraid of see each other physical?
I also don't want to talk about my bitcoin investment with anyone outside, not even my close friends. Simply because I like to remain anonymous to those around me, I don't want trouble coming to me. Where I live bitcoin is not legal yet and if I flaunt it I could even get in trouble with the government.
There is no basis for revealing one's identity in the name of being a bitcointalk member this is faceless platform where many information about bitcoin and altcoins is discussed without necessarily putting up a physical appearance even in our Local board there isn't discussion of physical meeting because a lot of members would have been busy with their day jobs, infact some members residential location might be far from each which makes any form of get together or meeting not feasible thus there is no point in initiating a physical meeting with anybody because of our anonymous ways of doing things.

Aubameyang has been insulted by excluding him from champions league squad . It's obvious Potter Graham and Aubameyang is not in good relationship. Aubameyang should look for another Club that will value him. Chelsea is done with Aubameyang , he should look for a better club to show case his talent
Aubameya was feeling very disappointed with it. He is really happy to play in the champion league. Chelsea fans shall create petitions for the club if chelsea will not able to pass to the next round. Potter must be sacked. This guy was only destroying the club.
He brings nothing rather than lose and lose. I think that aubameyang should move to another club in the previous transfer season. He got surprised to see that his name being removed after the transfer season already ended.

I don't how Graham Potter will play UCL without a competent striker who will play number nine role Abumeyang fit that role unfortunately he was exempted from the final list, the experience of Abumeyang would have made some positive impact on the team, the manager felt that the trio of Joao Felix Mykhailo Mudryk and Kai Havertz will perfectly do the job these are inexperience players, I think Graham Potter will possibly switch formation and play false nine this will absolutely back fire in a long run, well Abumeyang would have to exhibit his professionalism and wait till the end of this season and move to another club.
1293  Economy / Economics / Re: Monthly or weekly pay? Fixed or percentage earning? what is your prefrence. on: February 04, 2023, 08:05:02 PM
with weekly, you could spend your weekly amount to survive, but its always a tricky situation to calculate the bills and unexpected ones.
Weekly payment, so that I don't need to wait or borrow money if something sudden comes up that requires me to have more money than I have. Also, when you get the salary all at once, it almost feels like it finishes earlier too and then you have a whole month to wait again.

And, I prefer fixed payment, so that I don't have the fear of when I don't get no sales to get any commission, and that does happen.
I also prefers weekly wages I can't withstand waiting for 30 days to earn monthly salary, it's too long to me, although in my country salary is paid monthly, I can as well plan my budget on a weekly wages maybe use my first and second week wages to stock food in the house while saving other weekly wages, I will also never lack cash for any urgent need to pay for fee because there will always weekly inflow of money into my account, of course I am not in the habit of spending money extravagantly   thus earning a weekly pay wouldn't push me to spend lavishly.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: February 04, 2023, 06:43:01 PM
What purpose does it serve to reward you with their token if it has no value? There is no money to be expected from an airdrop. Instead of waiting for an airdrop reward that usually ends up being shitcoin, just engage in some worthwhile activities than participating in any.

I've been hoarding lots of airdrops for a year or so, glancing at their pricing makes me angry. I wouldn't dare or suggest airdrop to anyone I know.
Many airdrops now don't produce, I also have a lot of coins from airdrops and all of them have no price at all, it's just a waste of time.
Apart from that, now there are lots of token dusting airdrops, if we are not careful, our wallets will be stolen. My advice, if anyone wants to join the airdrop, be wise in choosing.
Maybe the OP still believe in profitability of airdrops, it had been stated in the forum that airdropping is a complete waste of time it is no longer business as usual, the era of earning decent profits in airdrops has passed, I used to hodl a lot of tokens in my etherwallet obtained from airdrops unfortunately those tokens are worthless and without any value some of these shitcoins had been in wallet since 2019 hoping that it will gain some value, unfortunately remained worthless that is why I stopped airdropping and diverted to another profitable task. I don't think we will have another era of massive profits earned from airdrops again just like in 2017 and 2018.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption growing stronger everyday on: February 04, 2023, 04:03:24 PM
One of the best means of projecting Bitcoin for more adoption is when a highly influencial persons uses it for transaction just like what the mayor of Switzerland did by paying for goods and services with it, his singular act will enable more citizens of that country to have confidence and trust in Bitcoin and to erase the mind of some people who view Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme, if not for government restrictions and ban placed on Bitcoin by some countries the adoption of Bitcoin would have grown leap and bound nevertheless the growth and global adoption of Bitcoin is unstoppable despite those hiccup caused by the crypto unfriendly countries.

Everton are going toe to toe with arsenal the leader is not able to score after 50 minutes and everton team seem dangerous so far, this game will be really difficult and arsenal team might really lose points which will benefit man city greatly.
If Everton maintains the current score until the end of the game they can really get full points and Arsenal will drop points, at least it can reduce the points gap with Manchester City, I think there is a lot of chaos in the betting in this match because everyone believes that Arsenal will get points full and win, but let's see in a minute the game will end, let's hope everton manages to win
Yes, Arsenal will definitely win today's match, that's why most of the betting sites gave multi in favor of Arsenal.  But in reality the situation was reversed, after a goalless first half J. Tarkowski scored the winning goal for Everton in the 60th minute of the second half. Of course, this defeat will not cause much difficulty for Arsenal, but statistically, if Manchester City wins against Tottenham in today's match, they will have 48 points even if they do not reach the first position in terms of points, on the other hand, Arsenal is at the top of the league with 50 points.
I am very sure there will be a lot of losers in gambling in today's match because in prematch analysis the odd favors Arsenal to win, however no one ever think a 19th placed Everton will defeat Arsenal today unfortunately football can be unpredictable at times that is exactly what played out today and Its on record relegation battling teams are always difficult to play, meanwhile congratulations to Sean Dyche for his first win as the new manager and consequently placed Everton 17th one point above relegation, I hope this is the beginning of Everton much expected turnaround.

I am very excited to read the news about Martinelli contract extension at Arsenal as a gunners fan, Martinelli had made a great impact on the team this season by scoring seven goals as well as some good numbers of assist his contributions had helped the club to maintained the first position and now that Arsenal had signed Trossard his perfect competitor at the left flank or wing this will motivate him to put in more extra effort, according to a reliable news the next players on contract extension is Saka and Saliba while the likes of Nketiah, Smith Rowe, Nelson are exciting young talented stars that will make core team of the future.

Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything? Tell me your story.

It's not just cryptocurrency that unites us all. We all became different after we learned about her, and went deeper into her knowledge. And now, even if someone is not very lucky to increase their deposit, then you probably have accumulated experience, and you can share it.
Honestly I never had any regrets since joining the crypto sphere in 2017 it's journey that really worth it because of various opportunities abound in cryptos, infact I had learnt a lot in many areas of cryptos particularly in tradin,  I indeed traded some cryptos and had mixed results, there was a period that I am always analyzing Binance trading charts while trading and gained a lot of experience and skills learnt in cryptos deployed to forex trading, though I had not really increase my deposit to a level of contentment, however I still trying hard to gain more knowledge and experience in trading thereafter start investing my profits earned.

yeah, I fan Chelsea also, but i have to be realistic for this situation, as we know how their performance in the last 5 matches, I still doubt that even play at home, Chelsea can easy win, bad possibility is loss or draw, because, on previous match, Fulham has beat Chelsea 2-1, that possible repeat when they have the same condition on situation.
Chelsea is favourite in this match. Playing home is an advantage although it might be the opposite for some teams. The new signing might also push the team psychologically just like the recent bad results of Fulham. Bookies are giving Chelsea good odds to win.
The ambiguous situation that Chelsea created made their fans perplexed about their chances to win in fact.

It stands that Chelsea is the favorite but they just bought all their signings and you need to implement them carefully so that they work. Fulham has an upperhand with their team because they play really good team play while Chelsea isnt still close to that level. But a win is a must for Chelsea.
I believe many Chelsea fans are carried away by the club recent quality signings which they think will result to instant positive impact on the team forgetting that it might take some time before those new signings will be fully integrated into team except Graham Potter sticked to his usual starting line up and gradually blend the new players into the team, today's match against Fulham Graham Potter will be under pressure to win the match considering the huge spendings the club undertook this January and Fulham is a good team who had been playing well though unluckily lost their few matches thus in today's match I am also predicting Chelsea to narrowly win the match.

I am also aware that opera had an inbuilt wallet on their browser, however I never for once considered it for hodling my cryptos having two more secured online wallets is enough to me rather than utilizing a browser wallet whose safety and security I am not sure about or whose vulnerability is unknown, however I will research online to read reviews about it users so as to consider adopting the wallet in the future to hodl some small amount of my cryptos, though I must commend brave and opera browsers developers for the new innovations atleast this act will make cryptos more popular.
