1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 13, 2022, 11:49:59 AM
The Napoli defense nearly ruined their chance to win in a difficult match. If Napoli wins the league this year, know that they worked hard for it because they have proven this season that they are serious competitors. leading the league going into the world cup.
I've explained to people that injuries happen in football and that no team should use their misfortune as a yardstick.

So far, their stats are Perfect. They also did not concede too many goals, only 12 goals and 37 goals they made. I'm not saying Napoli's defence is bad, but the stats in the table above prove their defence is still pretty good until today. They are only difference five goals with Juventus. Juventus is currently the least conceded team with 7 goals.
Napoli is so difficult to catch now at the top of the standings, they are really a great team playing well this season, no one expected this club, especially the clubs below them are 11 points adrift of Lazio who are ranked 2nd and AC Milan are ranked 3rd with points the same 30, I think Napoli deserve to win the italian league this season
My wish for Napoli is to win Scuddeto this season they really deserve it after a long wait for 22 years to win the title and with eleven points above Lazio, I don't think that gap can easily be close by the teams below them having won 13 out of their 15 matches and remain unbeaten in the league is an impressive record, I was also impressed with their performance in UCL this season particularly their workaholic striker Victor Osimen who had been very consistent in front of goal and my commendation goes Luciano Spalletti for putting up a formidable team despite selling some of their quality players like Lorenzo Insigne, Koulibaly e.t.c

Manchester City 1:2 Brentford FT...

Arsenal now has a clear opportunity to win the league.

Arsenal just needed to win their match against Wolves and consolidate their first position on the table by widening the gap to four points however, it's too early to tip them for the title until both Arsenal and Man City play each other in their outstanding matches, a win for Arsenal will then open up the opportunity of winning the league.
Meanwhile a big upset created by Brentford against Man City in today's match, Brentford striker Toney proved his worth to Gareth Southgate that he ought to be included in the World Cup bound English team by scoring two two goals for his team.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 12, 2022, 11:23:51 AM
Manchester city vs Brentford is an interesting match, I will like to watch to see if Brentford can stop Manchester city not to embrace victory from this match. I think, Manchester city will defeat Brentford 3-1 to alert other teams that they have what it takes to repeat what happened last season in this season to win the premier league title again. I believe, Haaland will definitely score goals that will make the fans happy in this match, because their midfielders and strikers are well prepared to work together to keep the winning going until they achieve victory from this tournament.
Let us never forget how amusing Premier League matches can be at times. Manchester City is undeniably better compared to Brentford and has a strong chance of winning the match. But keep in mind that Brentford has two wins against Manchester City in their last five matches, and they will want to get at least a point in the match to maintain their league position before the world cup break, which means Manchester City must be very careful in the match because Brentford may not have any players going to the world cup, whereas Manchester City does and will want to avoid injury in the match.
Reasons are quite reasonable. but keep in mind that in this match which was held at the Etihad stadium. then of course Manchester City as the host will actually play with the maximum. and Brentford is not a troublesome opponent for Manchester city this season. And in this match Manchester City must get full points if you don't want to be left far behind by Arsenal. because I think Arsenal are likely to win and will also get full points when they play against Wolves.
Brentford chances of winning the match at Etihad stadium is very slim they hadn't won any away match this season so I don't know how they would break this record with a very strong team such as  Man City, the best bet is to sit back and play defensively to prevent or avoid conceding many goals because Man City attack is too formidable and consistently score goals at will thanks to Haaland who is spearheading their attack, Moreso Man City will also continue to mount pressure on the league Arsenal to prevent the gunners from extending the points separating the two teams thus it's a must win match for Man City.
1544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 12, 2022, 07:55:54 AM
Cashing out $389 profits with a bet of $70 is very reasonable profits "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"  I do cash out when I am in a reasonable profit while betting on soccer matches because there is always countless opportunities to play another bet from part of my cashout thus I wouldn't take more risk, of course I will prefer to cashout whenever in profit consistently provided that the payout is far more than my stake, although it bow down to how individual gamblers take their own risk just like the OP who prefers to wait until all the matches is concluded.

Can someone teach me where have High Return Invest Program
I implore you to stay away from HYIP (High Yield Investment Program), it is a very risky investment and ended up as scam it's end result is very unfavorable, in most cases they owners of the scheme will run away with your hard earn money after a series of initial payment to their investment to make it look real, unfortunately you can't get a HYIP (High Yield Investment Program) in this forum because the forum has a zero tolerance for such a scheme, you better find a very reliable investment with lower return but very reliable rather than risking your money to scammers.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 11, 2022, 04:21:39 PM
I think Arteta would be very upset if the reserves could win and Arsenal had to come out in the next round  Grin It seems to me that while Arsenal are so high in the Premier League, the team will be focused only on this tournament. They don't have the depth of a lineup to seriously compete in multiple tournaments.
My concern for Arsenal this season is that Arteta's players are not balanced between those in the first squad and the reserves. If faced with several competitions, it can certainly make it difficult for Arteta if faced with injuries that will be received by his players.
Hopefully the defeat in the EFL CUP is not a loss that is allowed or intentional in order to focus on the Premier League and Champions League.

Perhaps you meant the Europa League? Arsenal are playing there this season. I think in relation to City they have an advantage in this sense, because if Arsenal will fly out of the Europa League, then no one will pay attention to it (assuming good results in the Premier League), but if City fly out of the Champions League, then everyone will make fun of it and Guardiola will be fired.
Arteta played mostly the second team in Carabao Cup to access their eligibility of snatching shirts or positions from the first team players based on their performance and in-form, unfortunately majority of the players flopped in that match against Brentford so he will have to manage his main players in both Europa league and EPL of course in any case of injury to one of the keys players probably that would be a big problem for the team alternatively Arteta might sign new players in the January transfer window and send some of the present reserve players who didn't merit a first team shirt on loan.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 11, 2022, 06:28:55 AM
When we gamble we feel all the emotions, like when we feel excited when we are chasing our losses, feeling happy when we won a big amount, feeling depressed when we lose and we feel frustrated when what we expected to happen did not materialize, this is one of the reasons why we cannot stop gambling because we feel all the emotions.

Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.
One of my major challenge is how to control my emotions in my bid to chasing losses by defying my main strategy while gambling unfortunately ended up losing all my funds, this had been reoccurring on numerous occasions, though I do gamble with the amount of money I can afford to lose, once in a while I do get frustrated and thinking of quitting completely, however I discovered that on many occasions the losses are my personal mistakes, after I incurred losses I came back to my senses and refund my account again and the cycle continues, now I have decided to take a break to work on my emotional imbalance to gambling.

Interestingly, the purchase of players for Newcastle has proven to be useful so far.
There have been several changes and there have been several players who have now been bought by Newcastle such as Isak, Trippier, Dan Burn, Pope and several other players.
Even though there are only a few of them who might know this player but Howe really knows what Newcastle need and this player has proven to lift the performance of Newcastle.
At the moment we may just have to look at some of the surprises that Newcastle will show in the coming seasons as their money will obviously matter.
Newcastle happens to shock everyone with their outstanding form this season, for the first time steeping in the top four position. Both the players and fans cheers in every single game because it's not an easy job to be in the top four in a league like EPL. More games to come for Newcastle but I hopes they can keep their spectacular form. The owners have what it takes to buy more big names to the club and putting Eden Hazard on the rader is quite impressive start for them.
I am not surprise with the recent resurgence of Newcastle in EPL, since the taken over of the club by the Saudi Arabian Billionaire who invested in the club by signing some few quality players since then the fortune of the club had changed positively, Eddie Howe had proved to be a very good manager by producing good results in their league matches, infact they almost defeated Man City unfortunately were unlucky City fought back to drew the match 3-3, I am very optimistic that the club will finish in top six this season going by some of their in-form players such as Callum Wilson whose brilliant performance earned him a call up to the English World Cup team.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of not letting others know about your crypto holdings on: November 10, 2022, 06:57:25 AM
When it comes to money trust no one, that is one of the reason why we are all here cause it is available in decentralized bitcoin. This is not applicable to crypto holdings it can be applied to everyone who is rich but people who are rich enough may have safeguard with them all the time so others keep your financial success silent until it reaches a state you can't hide it anymore.
Cryptos anonymity is a feature that allow us to keep our hodlings secretly, revealing our holdings to a third party apart from wife or kids can be very risky, apart from setting up such a holder for kidnappers some fraudulent friends might subtly steal your important details, like password and key in a bid to hack into your wallet and steal all the coins, I don't reveal my crypto hodlings to anyone even friends and my colleagues at work, I do my things in secrecy except my wife who knows much about my trading activities linked to crypto, there are untrustworthy fellows who jealous of our financial progress.
1550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 10, 2022, 06:39:24 AM
Some gamblers keep their gambling activities secrete from people they have close relationship with.

Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.

I'm not, I tell my wife that I do gambling as I think that it is not something to hide. Telling her what I do is better than hiding it, she can help me to control my gambling habit. My wife is the one who manage the money in my family, she hold all my earned and I need to ask her anytime I want to do something or to buy something including for gambling. I just do not tell it to others as there is no good reason for me to tell others that I do gambling.
In contrast to your assertion I hid my gambling activities from wife she detest and dislike gamblers and forcefully stop me from gambling, though she is aware that I am a soccer enthusiast and Arsenal fan who loves watching EPL and UCL matches invariably I bet on soccer matches online but I never reveal my gambling or betting activities to her thanks to online gambling sites, however I am not addicted to it and I only gamble once in a while just to avoid addiction and exposing my gambling activities because I am involved in it just earn extra source of income for me.
1551  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 09, 2022, 10:30:40 PM
During recession you live within your means the idea of becoming rich is out of it, for instance a person that lost his job wouldn't think of using his savings to invest in a bid to becoming rich when there are bills to be settled and payment for basic goods and services especially in a family who is trying hard to survive the harsh effect of the recession, the high cost of goods and services would deter such a person to have extra funds for investment I doubt if there will be any opportunity to become rich in that period, everyone will strife hard to live comfortably first before considering other investment.
1552  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 09, 2022, 04:47:27 PM
We're not only heading to the recession, but rather we are in the recession already. The whole world is experiencing a global recession, I don't think some countries are exceptions to the economic recession already. which is why you see inflation in food, goods and services products. What triggers the global recession we experience right now, is the convid-19 pandemic that happened 2years ago. The whole world is yet to recover from the damage it caused to the world's economy.
Truly we are in a full blown global recession, many companies had started downsizing, it was twitter last week now facebook sacked 11,000 and many other organizations had sacked many of their employees blaming the slow growth of income as a result of global recession caused by Covid-19 unfortunately this is happening at a time when many countries are battling with Energy shortages, the consequences of the current recession will trigger a lot of hardships especially in third world countries with low GDP thus subjecting their citizens into abject poverty it's up to the government of respective countries to deploy every resources to tackle the recession.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sports and entertainment industries could play a big role in Bitcoin adoption. on: November 09, 2022, 02:53:17 PM
in fact we already seen adoption in sport and entertainment but for now they only small firm and not big company but sooner or later it will fire up
Truly a lot of sports and entertainment industries springing up nowadays are already adopting bitcoin because some gamblers and gamers like playing their bet or gaming anonymously and that act of adopting bitcoin had endeared those users to embrace using those industries and going by the gradual adoption of bitcoin globally those industries will become a big player in no distant future, though we still have some major sport betting companies in my country who are still using fiat because of lack of orientation and information about bitcoin by those users, however I'm quite sure many of them will divert to bitcoin.
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 09, 2022, 02:19:48 PM
I agree and now the fate of Graham Potter is in question Chelsea has a bad result in the last 5 matches only able to collect 5 points
Graham Potter might still have a chance because they got a good result in the champions league but the next match is even tighter when Chelsea have to play another great team like Dortmund.

So far, Graham Potter has led Chelsea to a change for the better although he still has a lot to correct. especially when Chelsea are up against big teams, like against Manchester United and Arsenal. it won't be easy for Potter, after all he is a new coach who needs time to maximize his squad's performance. he still needs a strategy test, player rotation, and we have seen that in his early games with Chelsea. early on when he was appointed to replace Tomas Tuchel, Potter said. he, had to bring Chelsea to finish in the top four of the premier league. if not, maybe his career with Chelsea ends until this season only.

So, Potter still has time to maximize and fix the weaknesses of the strategy he applies and maximize the potential of his players.
Graham Potter started well for Chelsea when he got his appointment he was in an unbeaten runs in nine matches before losing woefully against his former club, It's too early to pass a verdict on his performance recall Chelsea was struggling both in the league and UCL until Potter took over where he made an instant impact on the team even with little or no experience in European competitions he had already proved his critics wrong, I believe there is room for improvement in the team and Graham Potter is equal to the task, hopefully when Chelsea play other top teams in EPL they will get a better result.

1. Romance Scams
Quote
The first of the three man-in-the-middle (MITM) scam scenarios we will feature, a romance scam preys on your emotions to distract
you from a scammer’s true, nefarious motive.
(.....)
There are also some cases where scammers that something like this, where there is a middleman involved. On some social media or forum, there are some peer-to-peer transactions like buying/selling. Since middleman there is also got an account and these scammer will create a dummy or poser account to copy the real or legit middleman and there you go. If you don't verify carefuly here, you will fall.

Honestly I once fell for this trap of the middleman being used as an escrow in a fake Binance P2P telegram coordinated by ring of scammers then I was a newbie, those scammers work hand in hand to scam unsuspecting crypto buyers or sellers once they suceeded in their fraudulent act they block the buyer or seller without any trace, of course they played their trick in subtle way in such a way that a newbie will also fall for their scam by a way of selling or buying cryptos in a cheap price for buyers and high price for sellers, the OP revealed some salient points in avoiding such scammers.
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: November 08, 2022, 04:16:32 PM
it was very sad for Barca and Manchester United when they had to meet in the play-offs of the European league this season, they were supposed to meet in the Champions league, but that's how football changes coaches and players in and out of teams resulting in both teams ending up only in this phase, I sure both teams will prove who can go further in the European leagues, but Barca's chances are more open because they are more consistent in the local league compared to MU which is still unstable in the league

It took time for Erik ten Hag to adjust to the Premier League game, it was not easy to build a solid team, especially since the Premier League is the toughest competition, almost all clubs have players who are quite good both physically and in their game performance. If you look at the statistics, the two clubs are very far apart. different, it's true that Barca is more superior but Manchester United's game, can't be underestimated, sometimes they can make the opposing club troublesome, it's true what you say about the game that is still unstable in their league, I think this will be a very exciting match, there will even be extra time in the meeting of these two Clubs..
Truly Erik Ten Hag had made an impact on Man Utd squad since assumption of duties as their new manager, he is gradually repositioning and building the team with time the club will be formidable and stronger, however the fact that Man Utd playing Barcelona in Europa shouldn't be written off as the underdog because of Barcelona topping Laliga that shouldn't be the yardstick to rate them above the Red Devils, both teams are equal to the task and the match can be won by either sides and it's very obvious that EPL fared better in European competitions this season, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea performed well in UCL while Arsenal and Man Utd also did well in Europa league.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: November 07, 2022, 05:57:53 PM
Everything has its own time, so right now we are still bear market so we can expect that altcoins are not rallying yet due to bitcoin's stagnant price for past few months. Though we have some mini run in the market but it still not time to celebrate henceforth bear market is still strong enough that price recovery is slow for now. Atcoins has its own seasons, so it's best to HODL for now and wait for the altcoin to resumes.
Truly the crypto market is still in bearish run, though there are some recent false breakout of the price of bitcoin that doesn't signal a bullish return consequently all the altcoins  remains in a bearish sentiment, I don't think there is hope or any tendency for crypto market to pump again this year however, the future prospect of the price returning to it bullish is feasible based on the upcoming bitcoin halving billed to take place in 2024 this reinforce the fact that crypto investment is a long term project thus it requires patience and perseverance because it may takes months or years to earn reasonable returns or profits.
1558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early Sign to Adopt Bitcoin by Nigerian Government on: November 07, 2022, 10:13:20 AM
I will take this report more seriously when I see the Nigerian government taking real steps to support bitcoin, for a country who has a active ban on bitcoin p2p transactions I find it amusing that they would be genuinely interested in training 30,000 people in cryptocurrency. There are so many reasons why I doubt the sincerity of the government, it’s election time and the current administration will be looking for ways to capture the heart of the masses, this sudden positive interest in cryptocurrency is suspicious and the promises will not be met. El Salvador made bitcoin a legal tender without publishing plans to “train people in blockchain”. I think the Nigerian government should be more proactive
It's more like audio announcement to me by the Nigerian government which won't stand taste of time, as you stated the upcoming election had made governance not to function properly, the government negative perceptions on cryptocurrencies is on course where banks are monitoring every transactions that is linked with cryptocurrencies in a bid to flag and freeze those accounts as directed by the same government that wanted to train 30,000 youths in blockchain, let the government through the CBN governor make a statement to lift the ban on cryptocurrencies then crypto enthusiasts will start taking them serious.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 07, 2022, 09:52:32 AM
Arsenal's great opportunity to move on to Man City's position. But they will be up against Chelsea. Chelsea are not a bad team, although they lost to Brighton in the last game.  Man City and Arsenal are only one point apart. If they win Arsenal will certainly shift Man City's position. In addition, maybe this is also used as a Moment for Aubameyang. I think he will be excited to beat Arsenal. Because he wanted to make Arteta regret throwing it away. Potter will certainly take advantage of Aubameyang because he knows the abilities of Arsenal players.

The game is over and Arsenal won 0 - 1 at Stamford Bridge, I am happy to see Arsenal's performance this season, they seem to show their seriousness and consistency in every EPL game. Currently the distance between Arsenal and Manchester City is only 2 points adrift and Arsenal are back in the lead of the standings. But there is something strange after I see the current EPL standings. Why Newcastle can be in third position? LOL
Chelsea was never a threat to Arsenal in yesterday 's match, the gunners dominated the match from the start to finish unfortunately only managed to score a lone goal, from all indications now Arsenal had improved tremendously while playing top teams in EPL in contrast with the performance against top teams in the previous seasons, they only lost 1-3 to Man Utd in a match they ought to have won, they won their match against Liverpool, Tottenham and now Chelsea, if they win against Man City then their chances of winning the EPL will become brighter though the league is still very far with many more matches to be played.

Emery taking over at Aston Villa is a positive development, yeah we all know about Emery's effect on teams. His time at Arsenal wasn't a long one but it was productive, I expect same productivity at Aston Villa. Certainly Aston Villa will improve under Emery and be a successful team. We saw a glimpse of this improvement in the game today against Manchester United, Kudos to Emery.
Emery's performance at Villarreal last season surprised me especially as they beat Bayern in the Champions League and now he's moved to Aston Villa with another surprise.
Aston Villa's performance in Emery's debut was really very good, especially considering the opponent is Manchester United who are very seeded.
Hopefully this will not only be a debut for Emery and Aston Villa because they still need a win to improve their current position.
A good start, era and debut performance from Emery I hope he will be consistent in subsequent matches, it's been long Aston Villa defeated Man Utd on their home ground precisely since 27 years ago it's remarkable and well deserved win thus pushed Aston Villa through to 13th position on the table, Man Utd was very poor today and Erik Ten Hag playing Ronaldo as well captain the team couldn't make any positive impact, their defence wasn't solid I think since Varane got injured that defence line had been struggling likewise their midfield was nothing to write home about today.
