I think Arteta would be very upset if the reserves could win and Arsenal had to come out in the next round  It seems to me that while Arsenal are so high in the Premier League, the team will be focused only on this tournament. My concern for Arsenal this season is that Arteta's players are not balanced between those in the first squad and the reserves. Emery taking over at Aston Villa is a positive development, yeah we all know about Emery's effect on teams. His time at Arsenal wasn't a long one but it was productive, I expect same productivity at Aston Villa. Certainly Aston Villa will improve under Emery and be a successful team.
