When it comes to the transfer window, The Pride of London are highly busy, especially under the new manager, Todd Boehly. Enzo Fernandez is eager to join the team after becoming the most expensive midfielder in football and breaking the record in the English premier league. The Argentine has plenty of time to improve and establish a strong rapport with his new colleagues. Enzo Fernandez will undoubtedly play a significant role in the Blues' season-long plan now that he has been given the jersey number 5.

The blues are always busy in the transfer market and they spend much. The last big transfer spending was under Lampard but it didn't yield good results.  Now Todd and Potter has started which I know will also not yield good results this year but it will likely yield next season.
Chelsea should be in the quest to change their first eleven and give the squad a nice depth for a more favorable competition.
Chelsea will probably allow some of their weak or unused players leave in summer and retain their quality and top performers in readiness for title challenge next season having spent huge on signing of players this season, I think their squad is filled up and in excess which means some players might not get playing time if the squad is not trimmed. I understand that club owner Todd Boehly is spending huge to reposition the club to becoming one of the best club in EPL just like the early era of Roman Abramovich former club owner, however I don't think all those signing will result to instant impact next season it might some time.

Arsenal signing jorginho can as a surprise to me , but the coach Arteta knows what's he want,  Youri Tieleman would have been a better signing than Jorginho because of what he brings to the team defensively, arsenal are leaving no area of the squad unattended to as they are improving every aspect of the squad with quality additions, Jorginho will try and settle things in midfield in the coming games.
Arteta wants to have a quick replacement for Thomas Partey in the defensive midfield position because Partey needs a substitute, which is the main Arsenal problem because Sambi Lokonga has been loaned out and Elenny, who is supposed to be his replacement, is also injured, so the signing of Jorginho will help because Partey will be able to rest in some games.
He becomes a worthy replacement, especially with the ability and experience he has, this is clearly very profitable for Arsenal. On the age side, he can still be counted on because regardless of anything, 31 years old is still very capable of competing.
They did lose a few players in recovery and this is a very good addition of course for Arsenal.

Now we just have to wait to see if Arsenal will sign another player as the rumors of an upcoming midfielder for Arsenal still exist at the moment for the nearest.
I understand that Jorginho is the wrong side of 30 and cannot replicate Thomas Partey’s role. But with Mohamed Elneny facing an extended injury layoff, and Sambi going to Crystal palace, Arsenal remain short in holding midfield. It’s not really a replacement for Thomas Partey, but bringing in another midfielder to thicken the depth. Honestly, it’s a good signing, €12M for a proven EPL player that brings in depth and experience to this squad isn't too bad. And it's only a short term fix as the contract also suggests.
Arteta is building a title contender team, with the jorginho arrival to the team is a boost to the team.Arsenal is playing impressive game and a team to  beat, Thomas partey will partner with jorginho in the midfield, Arteta can adopt two defensive midfielders using Thomas partey and jorginho.
Thomas partey has been  part of the team, and there's no way jorginho Will replace him immediately, I think Arteta has a lot of decision to make in the team starting up.
Jorginho was signed by Arsenal to add depth to their midfield and bring his wealth of experience to the team infact he has a bit better records than Moises Caicedo though older than him and far better than Elneny who is out till April, however Arsenal will play Europa matches thus Jorginho will have opportunity of playing those matches while Arteta rest either Thomas Partey or Xhaka for the league, I think this is best short term option for Arsenal till summer transfer window, the race for the title is hot and Arsenal wouldn't afford to lose this golden opportunity of winning it this season.
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 01, 2023, 03:57:40 PM
The important challenge of arsenal is meeting up with Manchester City, I suppose it is a nightmare to arsenal. If arsenal can succeed in defeating Manchester City they have accomplished one of the biggest job for the season to reap what they want. Arsenal are aware it is only Manchester City that can give up them from prevailing the league. After Manchester City and arsenal match it will be handy to predict which path EPL is going to, if it is for arsenal or not.

For some reason, I think there is some loss that one shouldn't over think and that's how I feel about the vibe of Arsenal and Manchester City, however, it will be an advantage for Arsenal if they win at least in the home or away match, it will give them that big margin between them and Manchester City but if they lose both home and way, it will slow them down and the chances of winning Premier League but if they roar and win other teams, nothin spoil for Arsenal. If Arsenal could just do this, they will win EPL and would be fear in their future matches.
EPL title race is a definitely a horse race between Arsenal and Man City, though more focus is on Arsenal to win their match against their rival in both matches or atleast win and draw one, however both clubs will play tougher opponents matches ahead thus the match between those two teams wouldn't determine the eventual winner of the League because both teams will likely drop points in some matches, Arsenal major priority now is to maintain the five points gap by remaining consistent in their performances and avoid defeat but it's a bit tough because of high degree of competition in EPL.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 31, 2023, 06:59:53 PM
Arsenal needed to strengthen their midfield, but signing Jorginho is a stop-gap solution only.
Their midfield is aging (Xhaka, Jorginho and Elneny will be 31 in the summer, Partey will be 30) and they will need to revisit this area of the team soon again.

It shows the switch in Chelesa's strategy as well - Jorginho was really important for them and they are letting him go quite cheaply. They have to trim their team and salary budget.
I also agreed that Arsenal midfielders are aging however Arsenal signed Jorginho as a backup for Thomas Partey and Xhaka who I think is far better than Lokonga, Arsenal having failed in their bid to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Lokonga might likely going on loan to Crystal Palace might have prompted the signing of Jorginho by Arteta, Arsenal main priority is to win the league this season wouldn't give any room for complacency, I believe at the end of the season Arsenal will likely table another bid for either Moises Caicedo or Declan Rice to replace their aging midfielders.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 31, 2023, 05:53:36 AM
I heard that arsenal is very close to signing him as a new player from Chelsea. Arsenal used jorginho as a new option for caicedo once birhgton was still reluctant to let caicedo leave from the club. Arsenal has a very short time to think about that. i meant the deadline to sign jorginho is very short and he has 6 months contract remaining with Chelsea. Chelsea will not let him go with small fees too. I hope that jorginho will be moving to the arsenal. I prefer to see new midfielder in the club rather than him. Kante is also coming back soon from his injury
Mikel Arteta getting the deal done for Jorginho will be one of the good news for gunners as they will reinforce their midfield with one of the keyplayer in Italy and Chelsea. Chelsea demanifor good bids from the gunners if they're really serious in bringing him over to emirate, they will rushed and meet up demands for the player they want. N'golo Kanye returning to the team after a long term injury would really affect his performance on the pitch negatively. He's been out of the game for so long, trying to cope better will take more time than expected.
I think Arsenal wanted Jorginho as a backup for Thomas Partey and Xhaka if the purported move for Moises Caicedo didn't work out or failed after losing Elneny to injury, the question now is that will Jorginho agree to sit on the bench if both Partey and Xhaka is not injured? or will Arteta resort to rotation of their midfield to give playing time to the players involved? I think these are issues that will have to be settled before Jorginho will accept any offer to come to Arsenal of course he is even considering his based on irregular playing time under Graham Potter as well new signings by the club had confined him to bench.

I'm very surprised with the news that Cancelo is joining Bayern Munich on loan. Because there is no meaning in Manchester City to let one of their crucial players go so easily. I know that they have Sergio Gomez as an alternative left-back but it is still not a sensible move. Cancelo has been one of the key players in defense. He has been more like a offensive back actually and he has scored lovely goals in addition to his contribution with his passes. This is going to be a very favourable deal for Bayern Munich and they have an option to buy him also.

This is one of the really wrong moves for Manchester City while they are trying to achieve the Champions League title. But hopefully they will make up for this.
Guordiola had already has two options in the defense that perfectly filled Cancelo role, Nathan Ake had performed brilliantly well in that role as well this promising youngstar Rico Lewis thus limited Cancelo playing time and Gourdiola is always in the habit of allowing unhappy players leaves the club whenever a better offer comes probably that is why Cancelo initiated his loan deal from Man City to Bayern Munich in a contract worth 70million euro I believe it's s good offer to Man City with a buy option which I believe a permanent deal will be sealed in summer.

Of course this is Dyche's tough task to get Everton out of the relegation zone. moreover, the task is so hard to lead his troops in the match against Arsenal at the Goodison Park Stadium, but even so, of course, a process is needed to make Everton rise.

It will be a tough job given the fact that they have lost Gordon also this window. I think still they got some strong players who can help the team when needed but Dyche also need to use them properly. It will be a tough job for him but I think he will do better job than Frank Lampard and hopefully will get them out of the relegation zone.
Honestly Dyche has a difficult task ahead of him, Everton lacks quality players more to that another reliable player Gordon was sold, January transfer window is closing soon the club hasn't made any bid to sign any new players, that means Dyche will manage the few players at his disposal at the club, well this is the period where his managerial ability and skill should be make use of particularly to steer the club out of relegation, Dyche was very a good manager then with Burnley I hope he transfer his wealth of experience to Everton and revive and put the club back to a force to be reckoned with in EPL.

Currently, Klopp's career at Liverpool is on the line and it is clear that they cannot relax in the current conditions because at the moment it can be said that their performance is still not going smoothly.

Liverpool has a lot of star players in their squad. Since they are not performing well despite having many experienced players, it can be assumed that it is the failure of the coach. Coach Klopp is unable to stabilize the team. And the important thing is that Liverpool's match strategy is not stable. The bond between the players is now weak due to lack of match strategy. In this case, if Klopp cannot stabilize the team and Liverpool's performance is not regular then Liverpool management may decide to sack Klopp.
Personally I wouldn't blame Klopp for Liverpool recent poor runs, it's partly due to injury to some of their key players like Luis Diaz Virgil Van Dijk and Diogo Jota another reason could be likened to poor form of majority of their players, the likes of Tiago Alcântara, Robertson, Mohammed Sallah and the recently signed Gakpo all have been having a miserable poor form, it's up to the club psychologist to work on those players to bring out their best before it's too late, sacking of Klopp now by the board will add more problem to the club rather he should be given a condition else he will be sacked.

This was one of the rare games that we watched Napoli having problems on winning. Roma played much better than I expected. Especially after seeing their performance against Napoli in Rome I thought like Napoli would get even a more comfortable win here. Still Napoli got the win of course that's what matters for them. Osimhen and Simeone's goals brought the victory.

Now we see Napoli 13 points ahead of Inter in the standings. They are in a very comfortable position from now on.
They tried extra in this match to win but it was not a serious problem because in the end they won 3 points even though they had to work hard in this match.
They are quite balanced, it's just that Napoli are smarter in taking advantage of the momentum and chaos in the final minutes to make them sure of excellence in this match.

Napoli won this match and gave the message again from the top of the league. I think it will be impossible to beat them now. Also, they are well above the Italian Serie A League with their two influential players Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia. These two star players made a great organization in the first goal of Napoli today and gave the team three points. Everyone's eyes are on Osimhen, but I really like Kvaratskhelia's football style. I think he is a candidate to be one of the biggest football stars of the coming period and Napoli will not be able to keep him in the team for very long.
I was amazed with Napoli first goal scored by Osimen against Roma it was a spectacular goal that would be adjudged as one of the best goal of the season, infact Roma manager Jose Mourinho commended Osimen and have him some word of advice, he is leading Seria A with 14 goals followed by Lookman of Atalanta with 12 goals, honestly this season is for Napoli to win (Scudetto) topping Seria A table with 53 points is a great feat trailed by Inter Milan with 40 points in the second position, it will be a big task for any of the clubs below Napoli to close a 13 points gap.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 29, 2023, 03:58:45 PM
The real challenge for Arsenal is another formidable team that also wants the Premier League trophy this season, and Manchester City is one of them. If they can beat Manchester City then it is a big achievement for Arsenal because they can keep their point difference away from their strongest enemy.
In their upcoming match, Everton is a good chance for them to pick up a point, so I hope to take advantage of that.
Arsenal is focused on the league now. They have already won the FA Cup a couple of times in the past. In addition to the FA Cup, City must focus on the league, including the Champions League. In light of all of these games, I don't know if they can win the league. This season, Arsenal are definitely the favorites. There is no way to predict what will happen in the next couple of weeks or months.

yes, I agree with you, maybe Mikel Arteta's team have often tasted the FA championship, it was recorded that the gunners made it to the finals 21 times and they were able to win the title 6 times in the history of the FA Cup. back to the premier league considering that his opponent manchester city who just beat him in the FA cup, the gunners will try to fix what is lacking and patch up the weak with their strengths, namely to reduce their mainstay squad to maintain the top of the standings and win the title desired by team and all supporters.
At this stage there is no room for complacent if Arsenal main target for the season is to win EPL trophy and considering the lack of depth in the squad especially in their midfield and attack because there isn't any back up for Partey and Xhaka in midfield and Nketiah at the centre forward thus they needed to play fewer number of matches to avoid fatigue and injuries now that they are out of FA cup Arteta main priority is to win league matches consistently to consolidate their number one position in the league, there next match is against troubled and relegation battling Everton a match I am expecting an outright win while Man City play Tottenham who might want a revenge of their last match.

Anonymous investment that will enable me to earn decent profits brought me into crypto, I dislike a situation where my physical investment will be noticeable to people who might want their own share out of the profits earned, from my own opinion this one of the disadvantages of physical business common in my country where every Tom, Dick and Harry will like to pokenose into my private business however with cryptos any form of investment is done anonymously trading, staking e.t.c are profitable investment that wouldn't needed any form of physical presence.

The Arsenal defense were able to hold down Erling Haaland in the match. It was very smart of Arteta to take off Holding in the half time, Holding who had already been booked for tackling Haaland and bringing on Gabriel who was able to shut Haaland out for the rest of the game. Even though they lost the game, Arsenal did very well in my opinion.
In this case it seems that besides Haaland there are a number of things that really make his supply a little lacking because Manchester City's midfield is not what it used to be.
But on the other hand, this condition is indeed a little better because with this the real match will be more exciting to watch because next February, of course their meeting will not be filled with players like this match.
If an opposition team handles Kevin DeBryne well without giving him much breathing space definitely Haaland will be shut off with passes thus will have a limited chances of scoring goals because DeBryne gives him most of the assist, this played out in Man City matches against Southampton, Man Utd and Arsenal, though Holding did marked him very well unfortunately couldn't complete the match due to his yellow card I give credit to him for blocking EPL best striker likewise Saliba who came on for him did tried his best with Gabriel, Arteta will some clue in readiness of their match mid February.
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: January 28, 2023, 05:24:46 PM
Money shouldn't be the real root of evil unfortunately some people uses their influence of being rich with money to cause evil with it either to fellow individuals or people who rob to earn money causes evil to fellow human being, of course money is necessary for our daily upkeeps or for investment purposes, therefore it is necessary to work and earn money legitimately than in a bid to earn money in a fraudulent way to cause evil or harm, it's a pity some unscrupulous individuals wouldn't mind any bad consequences to colleagues just to earn money this is very common in our society especially scammers.

Though I'm new in the cryptocurrency space,I have been hearing so much about crypto ( Bitcoin precisely) lately even before I got registered on the forum and I had to ask this very question because in three days I've heard and seen people talk and discuss about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general and it prompted my question wanting to know why it has been talked about this much and gaining more acceptance in my local community despite it's restrictions in my country and is it also gaining this much fame in your environment?

In my area people are also getting to know bitcoin, bitcoin is famous for its volatility and profitability. Many people in my area started talking about bitcoin and I happened to ask someone who is interested in bitcoin and they said it can be very profitable if we invest in it. Which shows that bitcoin is becoming famous for its volatility and everyone has a need to get rich.
In addition Bitcoin features anonymous transactions and store of value this make it to be more famous and popular, people do save their monetary assets in form of Bitcoin hodled in their respective wallets instead of saving fiat in banks which I think is one of the best financial revolution though adoption of Bitcoin might be slow, however with the help of social media and internet it adoption will continue to be increase, Bitcoin also provide more profits during bullish season as you rightly said especially when investor invested it during a bearish run the profit earned is more that what could be earn as interest in a bank.

Finally a breakthrough in the deal for Newcastle agreeing on a fee with Everton for Anthony Gordon for £40 million, all necessary papers ready yo be signed and sealed and medical also scheduled to take place withing 24hours, this is good news for Newcastle, Anthony Gordon will add more fire power to Newcastle's attack going forward and give them more options in the midfield.
Gordon is a promising talented young player who will be one of the core member of Newcastle team in future with age on his side £40 million is a good deal for Everton who are expected to pay part of Gordon's sign on fee to their new manager Sean Dyche, Chelsea had previously bidded for him last summer but was turned down, I believe Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is raising a formidable team in preparation for next season UCL by ensuring that the team has quality first and second team players because of increase in the number of matches to played especially midweek UCL matches.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2022/2023 on: January 27, 2023, 07:16:12 PM
I expect City to dominate the game - especially because Arsenal has a smaller team and will certainly prioritize the PL and rotate more.

The bookies agree and offer really attractive odds on Arsenal - many will try at odds higher than 4. No matter what I said before, I will probably be one of them Grin
City odds are around 1.75 vs 4.2 for a draw and the same for Arsenal victory.
City lost in the EFL Cup, ruined its chances in EPL so I assume getting the FA Cup might become a serious challenge for them. For Arsenal, as you mentioned, they are prioritising EPL over the other competitions so their defeat here will not be a surprise tho.
Maybe we'll see a little rotation that Arteta does in this FA Cup to reduce their squad but for sure this is the first game this season and for the league they haven't met yet, so I have the opportunity to see an even more interesting match.
The odds are very different for the FA match but I'm sure when they meet in the Premier League the odds will be even, but we always assume that Arsenal will always focus on the EPL as opposed to the FA Cup but I'm sure Arteta will always fight for this Cup.
I agreed that Arteta might not prioritize today's FA match against Man City there is possiblity of player rotation in Arsenal squad though players like Smith Rowe, Trossard, Veira, Tierney might start the match for Arsenal nevertheless I don't think those groups of players are formidable enough to defeat Man City except Arteta play a full strength Arsenal squad above all I am forward to watch two of the most entertaining clubs in EPL and both clubs also play possessive type of football, I am an Arsenal fan I am predicting a win for my club in today's encounter.

1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 27, 2023, 03:25:34 PM
Moisés Caicedo is a defensive midfielder and of course Brighton will appear quite brilliant because his role is so important in helping the defense. The price of 60 million euros seems quite expensive but considering he is one of the key players Brighton has, it seems that this price is not a problem for Arsenal. Apart from Arsenal, there is also their transfer market rival Chelsea who are interested in this player, but there has been no further news about the development of the information.

Yeah Moises Caicedo is another player of Brighton next to leave the club and I am glad Arsenal are interested in the player. Arteta last indicated that they need to work around a bit in midfield area as Elneny is injured and they need an option to fill that up and I feel they are making the right investment. Still 60 million is a bit over decent price tag but as long as he contributes well to the team it will not bother much. Let's see how this develops in coming days but I hope Arsenal bring a good defensive mid player.
I think Arsenal should go back with a better offer for Moises Caicedo because Arteta shouldn't take club injury problems for granted once the transfer market closes on Tuesday there isn't any alternative, as a title hopeful the squad must have enough depth to remain on top of the table, I read a news article about Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi who is trying to convince Moises Caicedo to change his mind by staying with the club after about 4 of their quality players was sold thus Arsenal should table a fee above 60 million, I understand that Arteta is trying to beef up their midfield as a back up for Partey and Xhaka in the absence of injured Elneny which is welcome development.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 27, 2023, 05:20:15 AM
Tomorrow Arsenal will play against Manchester City in the FA Cup match which of course this will be very interesting, because if Arsenal manage to beat Manchester City in this match then that is an extraordinary achievement. Because if Arsenal win this match then Arsenal have managed to beat two Manchesters in a row, and maybe that will be a historical record as well.
I hope that a winning result for Arsenal can happen in this match, because of course it will be the perfect result for Arsenal in this season and in this moment.

Arsenal may not be able to win Manchester City because Guardiola knows too well that he is loosing the Premier League title to Arsenal. I expect him to feature stronger legs in order to eliminate Arsenal from FA Cup.
If they lose out to Arsenal in Fa Cup, they may also lose out to Arsenal in the main league which will be very abnormal.
This depends on how the strategy and players are deployed I think.
Because indeed we still can't even be sure whether the two of them will appear by risking everything or will just make this as a sideline and give more time to the reserve players.
It's not without reason, the more they schedule matches, the more likely they are to falter due to fatigue so that this can have repercussions for other competitions.
In as much as I want Arsenal to continue in their winning streak, I still can not under-estimate Manchester city, I personally have always known Manchester city to be a better and stronger team than Arsenal, but then, like I said in another comment outside this thread, Arsenal have indeed surprised me this season, they have done really well so far, and if they will manage to beat Manchester city, wow, then I personally would believe they can beat any team in this premier league season and possibly take the trophy home.
Fingers crossed for them
Both clubs had not play each other this season though in the previous seasons Man City had been defeating Arsenal in all competitions, however the much improved and formidable gunners will be playing City for first time this season, though soccer analysts might have tipped Man City to win the match, however I have much confidence in the present squad of Arsenal players who are hungry for success and will likely prove many analysts wrong when they play today, though the outcome of the match will depend on the quality of players to be involved the game, there might be a possibility of resting some of them to avoid injury by their managers because it's a FA Cup fixture.

I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?
have same faith and looks in this gambling matter , I only try playing in Apps if there is no desktop availability like when i am in some places that I missed gambling so need to play using my Mobile but this is very few to happen than my desktop activities.
and actually I only play in Apps that has been promoted by some friends that have been playing there for a while and assures me not to think of security and also playing with small amount for more safeties  .
I occasionally use desktop despite having access to it because of my phone Apps are readily available and my ability to having access to it wherever I go, though it's easier to use a phone if it just to place a bet or other less tasking jobs, however when it involves trading both forex and cryptos I switch over to desktop which has more features and availability of indicators that are not available on phone, Moreso desktop has a wide screen that enable me to have a wider view of my trading charts thus ease of using for my chart analysis which isn't convenient via a phone.

As a novice trader who is also new to the market, I don't have much to impart, but based on my experience, I would advise beginners to study the fundamentals of trading first and start with tiny sums of money in order to get experience and test their strategies.
It's not only fundamentals of trading that a newbie needed to start trading there are other aspects like technical analysis where  newbie is expected to learn chart analysis, Candlestick patterns, how to use indicators, how to deal with emotions and fear while trading above all practice your strategy with a demo after plenty hours of studying chart before live trading with a small amount of funds for a start, trading is not easy because of the high risk involved especially crypto trading is synonymous with a very high volatility therefore trading an art that any newbie must master to guarantee earning profits.
