I like geek toys.   a WR703N all mining right now.

Same here.  I love having that £10 box run my miners, despite there being an i5 machine running 24/7 right beside it.  Grin

Yeah, BTCGuild is getting butt-raped by a DDoS at the moment.  You need to set a backup pool.
2083  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: **UPDATED** Current P2Pool Server List on: September 30, 2013, 09:33:02 AM
847Pool is now running p2pool 13.3.  Happy mining.  Grin

Edit: Also brought a 5kW solar panel online this week, so 847Pool is running on nothing but solar power (for the summer anyway).  Greenest p2pool node?  Possibly.

Up and running again - http://847Pool.no-ip.biz:9332/

Up and running on an i5-3570S, 16GB RAM, 2x250GB Samsung 840 SSD, still being (mostly) powered by Solar PV.  Should be pretty fast now. Smiley  0% fee.

I run my hubs off the ATX PSU I run the Blades off.  I'm the sort that doesn't throw stuff away, so I have a heap of various cables with power jacks on them from dead PSUs.  Just hacked them on to a Molex and job's jobbed.

2x Blades, 11 BEs, 2 hubs, soon to be 2xBlueFurys all running off a Corsair CX750.  It'll probably run my Jalapeno if and when it ever arrives, too.

2087  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: tips on cooling block erupter usbs on: September 28, 2013, 07:50:01 AM
Is it even still profitable to mine with BEs?

I'm not sure they ever were.  But they have blinky lights, so it's OK. Smiley

I RUN IT ON OPENWRT BUT HOW CAN I ADD MY POOL , user passward

USE THE TUI LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.  OR EDIT BFGMINER.CONF AND ADD THEM THERE!  LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

I sent my e-mail on 09/19/2013 and just got the same response as below on 09/26/2013.  I guess the magic e-mail addresses aren't working anymore.  heh..

I had initially sent them a modified version of that formletter that appears on bflrefund.me
My real fuckup was probably when I waited to hear back from BFL regarding my refund request before raising it with PayPal (I didn't want to be lying when I said they denied a refund, even though I knew they would... didn't think I'd get rejected from PP though)

My PayPal order was paid for with a bank transfer (ACH I'm assuming) should I get in contact with my bank?  I'm thinking of contacting PP again asking why they've changed their minds today.

Same here. Same BS letter.

CPU mining?  Wow, what time warp are you living in?

Your shitty hash rate with your 7950 is due to wrong drivers.  On Windows you want to be using 12.8.

Can't wait for the things to arrive. Smiley

I think I'll wait until Luke-Jr posts an official version if it's all the same...  Undecided

Yeah I guess so  Cheesy

Files named "bfgMiner.zip" from freebie file sharing sites make my antivirus squeal at the suggestion. :p

2% fee?  And no-one mining on it?  Hmm...think you've over-specified your server.   Tongue

Your BTC node has the LTC icon on it, too.

Difficulty will rise exponentially.

Err...not really exponentially.  But, hey, don't let facts get in the way of a good argument.

This massive jump to 149M difficulty...is deeply worrying.

Any updates on the Cgminer compatibility?

When is the next Group buy going to start?
Ckolivas is putting the final touches on drivers etc for cgminer. Should be released soon.

How's Luke-Jr doing with BFG?  I would hate to have to run cgminer just for these, when BFG runs everything else for me so perfectly.

I'm looking forward to the stratum proxy addition to BFGMiner under OpenWRT - I hope it'll work nicely, I'd love to get my little TPLink running all my miners including the stupid Blades. Smiley  There's just something humorous about piping nearly 40GH through something less than 2" square that runs off USB (and isn't a Pi).

Yeah, I have around 30GH at the moment, with another 19GH on it's way/ordered.  It'll keep the house warm over winter if nothing else. Smiley
2100  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [65000 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: September 27, 2013, 09:48:50 AM
I've been flip-flopping between EMC, BTCGuild, p2pool, and slush's.  My payouts have been basically the same across all the pools, though the speed of payments differs.  With a slow pool like p2pool, I was getting the same payout, but it may take a few days before the payments arrived.  BTCGuild, with it's fast blocks, means no waiting for payments.  EMC is fine, no problems with it to report.

I'm currently mining with Slush, out of loyalty - I started out mining there back at the start of the year with a lowly HD5870.  I was getting more BTC back then with that single 5870 than I am now with 2x ASICMiner Blades, 11 ASICMiner Erupters.  Of course it's an addiction, so I've two BitFury USBs on order, waiting on a Jalapeno since July, and am bidding on another Jalapeno April pre-order.  I know they won't make back their value now, but I'm stock piling BTC for when they shoot up to $275 again....  Undecided
