So what?

 Huh

On the BBB one of my IceFurys (NFY0) gives lots of 'dropped nonces' errors on startup, the other (NFY1) is perfect.  NFY0 eventually stabilises after about a minute and runs fine.  I have nowhere near the errors listed by Nate.

As I said, I'm running Debian on the BBB with bfg compiled from source.
1263  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: U1 antminer USB sticks 0.08 unit (500/500 sold) COMPLETE on: January 02, 2014, 09:54:46 PM
Shipping tracking site says "Delivery 3rd Feb"... Huh

Is a one-legged man walking here with it?   Undecided  Thanks for the updates anyway. Smiley

Cheesy ohhh that made me laugh. I am sure that is some kind of system error.

Good Translate changed 3rd Jan to 3rd Feb.  Huh  Roll Eyes

Build with;-

git clone https://github.com/signal11/hidapi
cd hidapi
./bootstrap
./configure --prefix=/
make
make install

And bfgminer will pick it up without any options, and I can confirm, the BBB will run the NFY devices fine.

Neil

I didn't even need to use the --prefix=/ part, and it all worked. Smiley

Just got a tracking number.  No idea what the courier is and where to check it?
1267  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 3.9.0: modular ASIC+FPGA, GBT+Strtm, RPC, Mac/Lnx/W64, Merry Christmas! on: January 02, 2014, 09:30:18 PM
Finally got BFGMiner running on Debian on my BeagleBone Black.  It's MUCH faster than the RaspberryPi.  I'm running getwork proxy for 65GH and it's running at less than 10% CPU at full speed.  The Pi can't do that for shit.

Trying USB miners later (I think I got hidapi running).

Still looking forward to getting LongPoll support. Smiley

I've got hidalgo working on bbb with a few NFY. I remember having to compile libhidapi with --prefix=#####

Can't remember the exact location. Will check make file when I get home

I had no issues, hidapi installed no problems.  The IceFurys are mining perfectly.  I've got approx 90GH going through the BBB between proxies and USB miners.  Less than 20% CPU.

Stats at http://847pool.no-ip.biz:7544/miner.php

Wow....on the previous page...

How soon for  antminer usb sticks?          [/list]

Did you even look at the thread before posting?  No?  Thought not.

If you'd bothered to read the thread, you'd have seen this post less than 10 posts above yours: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=168174.msg4208318#msg4208318

Shipping is from Egypt, and I'm not asking for 500$, i'm asking for 350$ by .5 bitcoin

    You're high.  $374 for a brand new 10GH Jalapeno.

1272  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: What can i place my miner on for now? on: January 02, 2014, 12:20:26 PM
Placing it on cardboard should be OK, but putting it on the anti-static bag which it shipped in would be better.

Never place your motherboard on a conductive surface.  You may as well tell him to place it in the bottom of a bath and fill it with water.  Roll Eyes

OP, NEVER run a motherboard on an anti-static bag.  Cardboard is perfect.
    1273  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cube & PSU question on: January 02, 2014, 11:50:29 AM
I NEVER got my single Cube running properly on a CX750.  It works perfectly on a cheap OCZ 600W, though.  Huh
That's odd, the specs on that PSU are more than enough for a single cube, whereas the specs on the OCZ 600W, you'd be pushing it if you tried to overclock (separate 12V rails @ 25A each). Not the first time I've seen people post about issues with that particular Corsair model though. Maybe you just had a sub-par CX750? Weird.

Yeah, I agree it makes no sense.  The CX750 is powering everything else fine (2x Blades, 2x Jalapenos, 2x USB hubs, fans, etc).

The OCZ had been running fine with the Cube overclocked - even considering it's running off a single rail (the two PCI-E cables run off a single rail).

    1275  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 20% Difficulty jump...RIP BFL Jalapeno on: January 02, 2014, 11:01:22 AM
ok, go spend $350 on a jalapeno and message back when you get a ROI.

95% of Jalapenos in use have already given ROI.  Anyone buying a Jalapeno new is brave.
    1276  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [EU/UK GROUP BUY] Blue Fury USB miner 2.2 - 2.7 GH/s on: January 02, 2014, 10:56:23 AM

Using Nanofury (*not* Icefury) and bfgminer I noticed a lot of "frequency drop detected restarting" - messages. Do you also see them on Icefury?

I do see it when I overclocked the IceFury too far - I think they did it on 56 a lot, and a few times on 55.  They're stable at 54.
    1277  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Where is Ghash.IO main thread? on: January 02, 2014, 10:43:51 AM
The site has been up and down for a few days.  Mining stopped briefly at 6am GMT, but it's all working fine again.

I'd rather have Royal Mail deliver - I work, so am not in the house during the day.  I work basically next door to the sorting office, so it's simple to pick up the parcels next day.

What?  Huh The thing you linked on eBay isn't a card.  Could you not figure that out looking at the pictures?  Huh

As I offered before, I'm willing to test the BBB version if you'd like?
