You should open the window when using glue, because you're obviously high as a kite.  Grin
1302  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Block Erupter Cube on: December 30, 2013, 09:44:11 AM
Mine does 38.5GH in High.  When it works.  It's still a bit fussy about power, but it's mostly stable on a 600W OCZ PSU.
1303  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hacking a BFL Jalapeno to 20GH and beyond.... on: December 30, 2013, 08:48:15 AM
Anyone 'fixed' the 1.2.9 firmware to run a bit quicker?  My 5GH Jalapeno is the 'rev 2' board, and the 1.2.5ck firmware doesn't work on it.

My 8GH Jalapeno has 2.9.2 on it - is there any way of pulling it's firmware and putting it on the 5GH unit?

Or does anyone have a list of firmwares and what they work on and what they do?
1304  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGminer as proxy blade SICK! (ARGH!!!!) on: December 30, 2013, 08:37:52 AM
Must be why I don't have any issues, I use 8330 and 8331 for my proxies.

Question about payouts. I have a minimum set in My Eligius and sometimes I get payouts just above the minimum but I also sometimes get payments well below the minimum. What's up with that?

You should never get payouts below your minimum.  Above is normal because you enter queue when you reach your minimum.

Address?

I got payments of around 0.01-0.02 and my minimum is set to 0.25.  Just yesterday in fact.

1KVviQoDmmFz2AyyFELkjZKzVvqGnEXAhj is my address.  I'm mining PPCoin at the moment, so that's why I'm not on Eligius.

Really?  No-one looking to sell?
1307  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: ASICminer Blades and HW error % on: December 29, 2013, 08:26:25 PM
That's pretty good.  Mine (v1 Blades @ 13GH) do about 1-1.5% HW errors.  Most of them happen at bootup, the longer they run the less errors they make.
1308  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hacking a BFL Jalapeno to 20GH and beyond.... on: December 29, 2013, 08:04:15 PM

I believe you've seen the molex to barrel adapter that takes 5 minutes to make. It's a lot safer power if you have the PSU for it. Yellow 12V line to the inside shielded wire, and the two center grounds on the molex to the outside braided ground.

The two Jally PSUs I've butchered have had a red and black wire inside, no shielding.  Red is centre positive.  I just solder on to an old molex fan cable (I've heaps of them from years ago), bit of heat-shrink, job jobbed.

Wow.  Another Android phone issue.  Bizarre.
1310  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Asus Sabertooth Z87 - LGA1150 - As Is on: December 29, 2013, 07:33:34 PM
For future reference, always use the plastic socket cover when shipping these types of boards.

I got an ASRock board, brand new, sealed, and the socket was totally mashed.  Left the factory that way.  Roll Eyes
1311  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB UK] Chili, Jalapeno, Klondike K16, etc - any USB miners wanted. on: December 29, 2013, 07:28:23 PM
Folks,

I have some BTC to invest in miners - I want something along the lines of a BFL Jalapeno, Chili, Klondike K16, Hashbuster Micro - any of those USB miners.

I DO NOT want the likes of Blue/Red/IceFurys or any other USB stick type miners unless they're very cheap.

Let me know what you have and what you want for it. Smiley

By the spelling, I'm guessing from Germany.

WK why do you feel offended?

Probably because you're clueless and won't leave it alone, and because you can't and don't understand the multiple explanations given to you, so you're stuck in a "I don't trust you" loop.
1314  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [EU/UK GROUP BUY] Blue Fury USB miner 2.2 - 2.7 GH/s on: December 29, 2013, 12:32:17 PM
*sigh* Another pointless product then.   Roll Eyes
1315  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [In Stock UK / EU] ASIC Miner Cube 30 - 38 GH/s on: December 29, 2013, 12:09:01 PM
I'll offer 1.6BTC for two of these.  Considering they're used, and less than 1BTC new...
1316  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGminer as proxy blade SICK! (ARGH!!!!) on: December 29, 2013, 12:04:32 PM
Just make sure the usernames/passwords on each Blade is different.  It doesn't matter what it is, as BFG connects to the pool using whatever you've set in BFG.

Since you're not honest about the problem, dont be offended if i dont trust your whole payout system. (I understand the payout method)

Wow, you REALLY know how to make a mountain out of a mole hill, don't you?   Roll Eyes

If you don't like Eligius, why don't you go mine somewhere else?  GHash.io are really transparent...  Roll Eyes
1318  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Where to mine with KncMiner Jupiter 550Gh/s ? on: December 28, 2013, 06:39:40 PM
BTCGuild or Eligius are the best pools for consistent performance and reliability.  Eligius is 0% fee and 105% NMC, but you have to wait longer for payouts (they send Mined payouts which take 120 blocks to confirm).

ghash.io is OK, good payouts, but my Spider-sense says there's something not just quite right with the way they operate as far as the security of the Bitcoin network.
1319  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Cheap Ebay Miners on: December 28, 2013, 06:10:11 PM
I suspect the OP is getting free advertising for his ebay auctions rather than being helpful and linking someone else's auctions.

He said he was packing them, and then ran out of time to get to the PO.  Not sure where you get the testing idea from...
