and if Antpool doesn't upgrade to 12.3, what good is any DIP? How are upgrades even useful if people don't upgrade? Why does it take the largest most profitable mining company in the world months to upgrade when I could do it in two days as a non-tech?

You are describing the difference between the update of masternodes versus  the update of mining pools,
masternodes tend to upgrade much faster then mining pools. That has been the case with every update
involving a protocol change.

The current update of miners is at 77.3% and is growing slowly :

https://www.dashninja.pl/blocks.html
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/#!network

With our previous protocol update from v11 to v12 the same thing happened (miners slow at updating, masternodes updated fast) but after awhile pretty much all the mining pools switched to latest update and the network could safely transition.

I dont see a difference with our previous update, our current update and our next update, just a whole lot of impatient anxiety from new users like you who are unfamiliar with Dash previous updates and the time it generally takes (specially when there is a protocol change involved).

Also remember Antpool is selling Dash ASIC miners, they dont have an incentive to sabotage Dash by not implementing v12.3

I also find annoying flat earth forums like this one.
All this discussion between me and qwizzie should reside in a thread.
So you could read only the first message, and ignore the rest ones.

Part of my campaign's goal is this, to turn the dash forums to threaded ones.

Watch my youtube video  here , NOW!

I? Me? Shouldn't it be 'we' and 'our'? which of the demo posters are you? Are you the monero one? Please proof who you are with a signed message? Thanks

Maybe i should make another cryptopuzzle for demo just in case, a bit more difficult this time.  Undecided
At the very least, it will keep him distracted  Wink

I do think this shows that using a multi-useraccount like demo16 is doing with his account is severly damaging
its trustwearthiness. One could even claim it counteracts its purpose..

The real demo must still be on vacation, he would have solved that crypto puzzle by now...

Is it related to the bear below?

There is a clue there yes.

It must be a proverb about bears. You assume one of the three words having 4 letters is "bear" and then, provided that you are a good native english speaker (I am not), you discover the rest words.

It is not necessarily about bears, but something in that picture does form a clue.

One kind word can warm three winter months.

Hey, listen. I agree that these Krip phones look promising, as does the market apparently, but it doesn't answer my question. What in our overburdened treasury are we going to give up in order to get them?

Why would we need to give up anything in our treasury ? This is a partnership that was formed between
DashCoreGroup (Business Development) and Krypto Mobile.

If the Venezuelans want to buy this phone they go to the local retailer that Krypto Mobile specify and buy it.
Waiting it seems is on the actual release of this phone for $100 or less.

I suspect this phone is only for sale to the Venezuela market / Latin America and not intended for shipment
outside that region.

When a similar arrangement was made with bitgo, Ryan Taylor himself came out and personally lobbied for treasury funds.

I doubt that is the case here, its a bit weird to first announce this partnership and then later follow up with a note that
funding is requested. If that was the case it would have been part of the original announcement.

WELL WELL WELL...the illustrious and very vocal supposed DASH community member "demo" is in fact a very active Monero community member.  Imagine that....and from what I'm finding....surprise surprise...he doesn't troll/fud them ever but is constantly fudding DASH.

Thank you Tao and all other mods for banning these toxic shit heads from our community.

You are wrong.
I am not a very active Monero community member.
Where can I Fud monero?
They have not a forum , have they?

Is this the real demo ? Can we please speak to the real demo ?
Thank you.

1 Dash = $200
1 Dash = 0.02818
Dash Marketcap = $1.63 Billion
Dash Traded Volume = $316.7 Million

Dash rise today against USD (currently) : 8.6 %
Dash rise today against BTC (currently) : 5.7 %

Link : https://www.coinranker.net

On longterm 1w charts Dash seems to have finished or is in the final phase of the bottoming out process.
Link : https://cryptowat.ch/markets/poloniex/dash/btc/1w
(Put RSI indicator on)

Lowest RSI on that chart i think was 25.9 and it has currently grown back to 36.7
A few more weeks should confirm or deny a new trend more clearly.

Cryptos are surging and part of the rally is linked to a rollout of Dash on Venezuelan smartphones
https://www.businessinsider.com.au/cryptocurrency-prices-rising-dash-venezuela-2018-8

Quote
“Our partnership with Kripto will put all the components needed to use Dash preloaded into the phones of 10,000 new Venezuelan consumers every month,” Taylor said.

The KRIP phones will have “a Dash wallet to store Dash, services to obtain Dash, and the Bitrefill app to enable spending on various services”.

“This complements the over 1,000 merchants already accepting Dash in Venezuela, and really addresses the chicken and egg problem of attracting both consumers and merchants to our growing ecosystem,” he said.

Looks like on Poloniex, bull volume strong and bear volume weak.  We may go up again very soon.

Just keep in mind most of Dash traded volume takes place on ZB.COM (a Chinese offshore exchange)

Link :

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dash/#markets
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/zb-com/

Currently Dash is ranked first and second there with a DASH/BTC & DASH/USDT pair.
But it looks promising...

Dash, IOTA and Neo are profiting the most from these pumps currently in the top 15.

Edit : and we are going up again

Sorry I cant. I am not a native english speaker.
Additionaly, I avoid to solve non real problems.
I don't like to spend my mind in exercises that have not practical usage.
I have not a passion with numbers.
I vote the numbers.

Sorry to hear that, maybe you should log out and let the real demo post the answer ?
Thank you.

Which demo on the multi-user account demo16 is posting right now ?
Is it the pro free speech and anonymity demo or is it another user ?
And can you prove it ?

I can prove who I am , by signing with Demo's dash wallet

It is only me talking right now from demo16, as far as I know.
But if you want to talk through demo16 account, you are welcome.

Anyway, who cares about me, or about who is talking through me?

Could you please answer to the questions, instead of answering to the persons?
