2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are given this opportunity to choose which one will it be on: June 14, 2022, 08:02:27 AM
Seeing Avalanche lose 80+% of its value compare to its all time high looks like a very tempting buying opportunity to me, if you are given the chance to only pick a wallet with 5000 pieces of Cardano or Avalanche which one will you go for and why?.
The pump for AVAX was a lot and it was more than $100. While for Cardano, it's $3. Although supply-wise, ADA 33B of supply but I think reaching back to $3 is manageable.

Whilst for AVAX, I think it will have a hard time reaching back to $100+ as it's past ATH. Don't you have any other option, honestly I'll just take any of the two or both bitcoin and ethereum.

It's true that we've been here. If you're new then for sure that no ones to blame if you're ever feeling to panic.

But for us, who have been here during the toughest bear market like in 2018, we know what to do and we just have to chill and if you have money to spend, buy bitcoin.

Being patient is one of the factors that will save you survive this bear and will also help you to be one of those people that will have a good moment when we're back in bull.

If it just one legit case, people might still hesitating whether to leave or stay in that casino.
For most of the gamblers that have been staying and never experienced a problem to that casino, they'll stay.

The casino can claim that is the fault of one particular staff and promise that it will not happen again. But if it's two case,i think 90% of player will leave that casino without hesitation and go to some more reputable site.
Yes, they can have that explanation and it will now going to depend to all of those that are reading and tuning on that situation to believe or not. There will be for sure that's gonna believe to their explanation.

And a portion that will believe to the complainant.

Hi dear I want to ask to you about crypto trading, what do you recommend if I have 1000 USD and want to grow it by crypto. How can I do it safely and low risk?
Converting that into a stable coin is truly a low risk but in terms of safety, you can't tell if there's a safety one. What I can think of are the said interest rates that's been done with the exchanges but the risk is there and potential low income.

But here's the risk doing it.

1. Putting money on an exchange and being on their interest accounts won't give you guarantee with your keys.

2. Stable coins are in the hot tub these days and making everyone worried because a few of it have became controversial due to its depegging in $.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any kinds of altcoin gives constant rewards? on: June 13, 2022, 03:45:01 AM
Staking is what you probably is asking for and that's how it goes. One example is if you hold atom, you'll receive a constant reward on the wallet where you're holding it.

There are too many of staking coins out in the market but you don't expect to receive that much from them but it's better to have that reward than nothing.

in my opinion it is better to stay away from these schemes, Luna set a good example that altcoins cannot be trusted
Your concern is true and very much appreciated but there are projects that entirely different from the collapsing of Luna/Ust. For example, there goes the beacon chain of Ethereum 2.0 on Binance. The reward is very low but it's up to you whether you trust it or not.

There are many choices if it's about staking and honestly, I'm going to hit a few of them when my portfolio is enough. I want to get some decent passive income through it but not yet for now. I still have to save as much as I can to at least have a better return rate with their APYs.

It's just a low APY but I like what I'm doing and I have researched it so, I guess I'm ready for it and if I fail, not a problem as it's part of the risk.
2106  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: June 12, 2022, 11:19:04 PM
If it's about the reviews then the best go-to are the threads of the online sportsbooks on this section. You'll get genuine reactions, reviews and complains from the actual players that have been telling good and not so good reviews.

Telling their experiences and what are the possible problems that they've met upon playing with any of these bookies. And as well as the count of their bettors, do not be misled by new bookies, they're making up numbers to attract players but it's all fake.

But to the legitimate ones, they've got real numbers.

Welcome!

I think this is a unique design that you've got for a dice and you did reinvent it from the usual that we see. I suggest to change that "auth" to just simple and easy to understand as "login".

As suggested OP, you really need to be very active since dice is a popular game and there will be more players that might come to your site because that will help you build your own community if you're too approachable.

Being active here and getting a copper account will get the message across to the community that he is serious about his presence here in Bitcointalk there are three starting requirements that developers should do to gain the trust of the community and these are, always active in addressing all concern, getting a copper account so he can post images and take out the limitation of being a newbie, a well-designed announcement thread, where people can easily understand what your casino is offering, people are graphic and visually attracted to a thread that is well designed.
Having a copper membership for newbie accounts are desirable but it's just an option. We do recommend it and whoever takes it really shows that they're serious about it. The benefits of it by these newbie account ranks should be understood by them why we're telling it to them.

OP and his team might take these "little" details uncaught but these are important matters especially with the claim about the license.
2109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you educate petty traders in adopting Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2022, 10:41:43 PM
It's good to educate them but putting them into investing in bitcoin is unlikely and difficult to happen IMO.

And that is because they're doing their own hustle to put food into their tables and they barely save money so, as an investment, they might listen to us but unlikely invest.

They can't just sacrifice a budget of meal a day into an investment that they've just known. But I know that some of them might really get into it being inspired but still, they need to have a better explanation that this ain't just an overnight rich scheme.

Though investing isn't a bad idea but at their level, it would be nice educating these people and letting them know what they stand benefiting from blockchain. I think at first is teaching them on how it works and maybe if they are willing, you tell them they could accept Bitcoin as means of payment for their commodity which would ease them the time and stress of running around to and fro the bank if the need be.
That's where it should really start. Trying to make them understand how it works and how it likes. Maybe a few lessons from the tech and then with bitcoin as a whole.

That's the main course when you're goin to teach them because only a few of them might actually be interested in the tech. But for bitcoin as an asset, this is where the interest of theirs will be taken into account.

and one of the major awaiting of the Pro player is Marci added to the game in Captain mode
I'm watching the match of T1 and RSG right now and it's on game 3.

And for the game 2, Whitemon used Marci and everyone is fascinated on how he used it. They've won the game and he has used marci as pos 5 which seems to be one of the heroes he's been practicing on pubs.

Weeks have turn to months since lightlord look back on this thread, but the site is still live and functioning I don't know how active the services on the casino are since I stop playing there long ago.
Since you've been there, it's still active and there are still gamblers playing in bitvest. On the record which is viewable as you visit, it says that they still have 229.573 BTC as bankroll.

And that's nearly an estimated $7M based on the fluctuations that we're getting which means that there's still ample money for the bankroll. Even without lightlord active for months, I think its staff can manage it all along with its operation continuosly without his presence.

Does anyone make a bet with the recent match of the Team OG vs the Team Secret. In this match of game one, it is already in favour with the Team secret because their draft is so good against the team OG and again unexpected build by amar the f makes a viper offlane with a damage build of skadi and dragon lance to fight against the razer which is ideal to counter their pick, also this game it does not give a good positon for Taiga to commit a 3-5 man blackhole. During the game, the two teams secret tried to pick again with the razor against the morpling but the game becomes snowballing because of the continuously losing in the clash. They don't have enough damage with this game that's why they got conquered with the Morp and Tiny carry.
The match was typical as OG won two straight games.

I think that Team Secret is still in trial mode with Crystallis as Puppey picked two Razors for him, both game 1 and game 2. I'm not impressed with him and maybe he's still in adjustment mode.

But he has to show that he's worth it in the team. You know Puppey, he's the typical guy that if you don't perform well, you'll be kicked.
2115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency Awareness Campaign on: June 09, 2022, 09:11:00 AM
To me cryptocurrency is getting recognition whether it is been campaign by people or not , cryptocurrency will always grow.
Yes, whether there will be no campaigns just as stated by OP. The market is already on the stage that it can grow on its own but on its early days, if we're talking about the forum, it is one of the biggest contributor to its growth because of the people that have been involved early on this space.

It is okay to educate anyone that you know but these days are dangerous. You don't approach alone someone and educate and ask them if they want to know bitcoin and etc., you don't know what's on the mind of people these days and since there's a crisis.

Everyone is in need of money and they might think of you as a target to rob as a normie hears about crypto, they think of it the person they talk to is rich.
2116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is alternative cryptocurrency meeting up to it expectations on: June 09, 2022, 08:05:24 AM
What future can we see from the alternative cryptocurrency industry?
IMHO, there will be a big purge for the altcoins market. You see that ICOs have failed because of the scammers that it had made it as their den and the same goes for metaverse and NFTs.

It had became the place of scammers although there really are those legitimate projects that have been serious with their development. And once that purge happens, it will be the top altcoins shall remain but bitcoin will still be the king at the top of this entirety.

Surprised to see EG go down against 4Zoomers on their first series, I was expecting EG to drop a map but dropping a series this early would mean they have to win the remaining series if they plan to qualify for the third major.
Although I'm not surprised that EG can't be that stable anymore 4zoomers/nouns got a strong draft on game 3. They always get rekt on series' that's why nothing that much to expect from them even with the recent comeback of Fly.

Not many interesting games left today but I did watch Talon vs Polaris series earlier and all three games were decided by draft alone, Talon got the much better drafts in the first and third game while Polaris lacked some drafting synergy.
Talon won but Polaris isn't just another team that any sea team should underestimate. That's it for SEA today but tomorrow, it'll be Fnatic and Nigma.SEA.
2118  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 08, 2022, 08:19:42 AM
But whether we find out the reason or not, this is the typical bitcoin that we know. Sometimes surprises us upwards and sometimes downward.
This is my exact sentiment, the drop is not quite significant. Looking at the 24 hour chart in op, it looks like a sharp decline, but zooming out to about 30 days, you will notice that it's just another regular price movement in the wave of volatility.
https://i.imgur.com/pvo2Pmu.png
This is speculation board after all and I can understand why traders would want to explain all price movements as it helps to build analysis for future price predictions
Exactly.

Any time bitcoin rises, there would be a lot of traders that will find a reason behind its rise. But just how it's quick when it rose, a decline has also came but not that too deep which just shows that it's a normal movement.

That's just how bitcoin works. Regardless if there are certain reasons or not, bitcoin will drop its price when the market is still bearish and increases somehow when the market is approaching its bullish season. However, i'm still expecting for bitcoin to literally drop its price because the market has not recover yet. And since bitcoin is still not showing its high momentum, then expect that altcoins too will be influenced by the current price of bitcoin.
Yes, there's still the expectation that the market can potentially drop since we've just came from a very long bull run. But whatever is holding it, I'm liking this situation more than what we've got in 2018.
2119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Snoop Dogg getting into NFTs on: June 08, 2022, 07:07:09 AM
I've watched a video of a person that gave a tour to that "what do you for a living" guy and that person, I don't know if Snoop's son or just someone that works for him.

Snoop is likely focused in the NFT and that's he's seriously making big bucks there. Well, my thoughts on this, it is not a surprise to see people like him and other celebrities verge into NFTs and crypto.
2120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 keeps falling on: June 08, 2022, 01:58:35 AM
This project together with its UST is nowhere to go. Everyone has already expected where is this going and sorry for those folks that have put and shown hope for these projects.

It's better to accept the truth that no matter what they do to revive this project, it's already bound to fall and fail. That's the hard reality that they have to accept and just throw their attention and money somewhere else that's more valuable than of these.
