1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 12, 2023, 11:53:29 PM
Nigma galaxy once again announce their greatest comeback which is miracle makes again in the game and many people expecting that the Nigma now makes a good run, yes it is but it will not last long after their match against Talon they really play good and we see unusual games again came from miracle- but after they manage to win the series of 2-0 they face now one of the dominating team which is team liquid they makes them eliminated in the game and the funny thing here is Miracle- becomes now standin again.
Yes. Nigma Galaxy is already out of the DreamLeague.

The comeback of Miracle didn't do any good on them and still, they're out of it. The sets of the teams that qualifies for the Stage 2 of DL was almost done, we still got some tiebreakers waiting ahead.

Talon Esports is also out and I think this make sense because they need to prepare for the Berlin Major. While Execration is on a tiebreaker against Team Aster.
1102  Economy / Economics / Re: using credit card on: April 12, 2023, 10:50:12 PM
I really don't understand how a credit card works. I mean, I lived in a 3rd world country, and those who have credit cards are only rich, and we poor people are not owning this one because it has high requirements. I know that you pay it later and that there is interest, but it doesn't make sense to me to pay it later if you can pay it now. like you are paying it at the end of the month with interest. I used my visa or debit card (not sure if that is what it was called but it swiped my card to something) to pay if I wanted to go cashless.
Credit card companies has some policies for late payments and for those that are paying on time. Well, if you've got some savings and you can spend that well on your stuff then there's no need to own one.

Perks are mostly the ones being enjoyed by credit card owners and if you can't avail to pay annual fee and its interests, that sucks to think that you're free to swipe anytime and it's sort of a brag on how much is your credit limit. Well, keep the brag and I'll keep my mind in peace without having the need to pay all of those things in credit.
1103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Viable Alternative to Fiat Currency on: April 12, 2023, 09:46:43 PM
I'm too optimistic before that I've been thinking that bitcoin is going to replace fiat for real. But then, looking at situations and understanding the actuality of these matters and made me realize that we're still far from that happening.

It's a good alternative but it will stay as an alternative and not a main thing for most people to use as a medium of exchange. But it has already set its foundation and even the non-crypto people understands its existence and I guess from there, it's already decent and good enough that it's being recognized.

While being a store of value, that's where bitcoin has been mostly recognized although it was introduced as a medium of exchange.
1104  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Madness of many! on: April 11, 2023, 11:43:41 PM
What people see in politics these days is about self interest, at least this is for the corrupt countries. They'll be there for years and won't even get replaced by new politicians that has a care for their country and people.

Well, it's just so happen that most citizens are used to the politics that where we're residing in because we're too little to speak and be heard by these big people as they say and best described being in power.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 11, 2023, 10:33:51 PM
Some government won't think of this because they benefit from the taxes that they collect from the casinos and some even are relying into this business as their main source of country's income.

They may set some boundaries and reminders but, they cannot hold the minds of every gambler and they'll just obliged to such policies just for them to keep gambling even if they're irresponsible gamblers.

in addition, if the casino or bookie starts requiring this doc from their players - it means they are licensed also as definitely, you need to put your real name on the doc unless they will accept your username that you can sign off. and that's not gonna happen.
this requirement is a possibility for a licensed gambling site. but doubt if a non-licensed casino will ask for this. but so far, i am not seeing this requirement to be implemented in the next years to come. being a responsible gambler is also very subjective. so this is also hard to assess for the casino. they won't do such task. the task is on the gambler himself, how he will look after for himself.
I think there's no problem if you'll use your username upon signing in/off. That's normal for most websites and since you've passed on that document, they're aware that's you and you're on their record already. Yeah, it's possible for this requirement to be in a licensed casino.

But to those that are not yet licensed or don't have plans to get one, they wouldn't require such but then, it's funny to think of this requirement for most gamblers just to prove that we're responsible because being responsible can't be drafted to a piece of paper unless being seen and witnessed.
1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 11, 2023, 09:38:58 PM
Depending on where you live. Like for now if bitcoin's price is $30k and you're somewhere else living like in a third world country, that could be as good as it is but I don't think it will make you consider rich for this year.

It's truly possible to be financially free with bitcoin but as a starter, you shouldn't be thinking of that yet for now because it will require you a lot of time until you finally see it.

Well, being rich is subjective so that will give you your own description of being rich if you already have bitcoin.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 10, 2023, 06:52:16 PM
Will there come a time when online casinos will implement that you upload a responsible gambler certificate before you continue to play because of too many government restrictions it's not necessary for newly registered gamblers but for gamblers who lose a lot of money and their activity is they are suspected to be addicted to gambling.
Being a responsible gambler won't manifest by just signing a deal or agreement or by just showing a certificate. These can be faked and it's not the responsibility of the casino to do that. And for every gambler, each their own must be responsible of their own actions.

The reason why the government will implement this, as a precaution, is to protect people from losing their wealth and their health from too much gambling because of addiction, it's a way of protection.

1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving out to promote Bitcoin on: April 10, 2023, 05:44:59 PM
That's nice by giving out $100 to random students. It won't matter whether it will give them huge or small impact knowing more about bitcoin. But that's a good heads up to them that they now own bitcoin and it's up to them how they'll take care of it.

Maybe the majority of them will spend all of it as soon as possible while a very few of them will think of saving more.

Nonetheless, there's the impact already and introduction to them of what bitcoin is and in short, it's money for them and for all of us.
1109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why will I always have faith in the potential of Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2023, 07:11:43 PM
Ultimate Goal!

My ultimate goal can be only achieved through Bitcoin. This will happen when I go to any big store and pick up anything without thinking about how much I have in my wallet. I am not someone who is looking for a Lambo. I am someone who is going after complete Financial independence.
Like having bitcoin and a lot of it.

I guess this has something to do with price as well as it involves being complete financial independence and also being financially free.

We all have different beliefs about bitcoin and no one can stop us from believing but I do agree with each vision that we're foreseeing on bitcoin in the future.

It's gonna be the potential of it that will be appreciated not just by us by the entire world and it's starting to be seen.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 09, 2023, 01:06:56 PM
^ Yes, hard to say when he started to trash talk, but most likely when he had the belt already or at least he some something to brag on and that's why he starts to talk bad about his opponent or even call others boxers like Inoue and tell him that he is going to beat him hard, LOL. That is the sign of Casimero already, it's that he hit a wall when he was unable to depend his belt at bantamweight because of his weight issues.

But after moving up, Akaho fight? not good for us, because it's very controversial.

Now, again no name in Nghitumbwa, but he should easily win this fight and knock him out so that he can continue to trash talk everyone in this division.
That make sense and discerning that he won't talk with bad mouth if he's not prepared for his opponent and match.

Before he releases some bad words to gain attention of both his and opponent's fans, he's got a vision on his mind of the result of what he might say.

This fight looks easy for us fans to say that he's got this but I'll still make boundaries that there could be some lucky punch that can be thrown and the possibility of it.

And that's always possible. Landing a lucky punch that will bring your opponent's down and win with a KO is not
impossible to happen inside the ring.

More on how aggressive but yet patient you are to connect that lucky punch to win the fight.

Following you, before throwing trash talks, a fighter already envisioning the possibilities and how he will want the fight to end,
he's aiming to work with his words and will try to accomplish what he said.
He wouldn't be that confident to talk trash to his opponent if he has got no big tool to show. But then, he is serious with it and that is why he can just anything he wants to say.

Just sharing a snap shot from the vlog of Casimero showing Quadro Alas and the Filipino Flash having a serious conversation  Smiley.

There are rumors that Donaire would help in the training of Casimero here in Cebu but with his coming fight with Alejandro, i don't think that it would materialize due to time constraints.

Nevertheless, it is a welcome sight for both of them training in the same gym.

ctto
This is good to know that they are training in the same gym. Both will give each of their own opinions to their respective fights or experiences or situations.

Or just the typical casual talks that isn't really new to both of them.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking through mobile phone on: April 09, 2023, 09:13:11 AM
How long are you gonna be away from home? I have been hearing a lot with both actually but more with decentralized platforms and I don't want to trust neither of them.

Binance staking keeps on decreasing its percentage because of many users that do trust them. However, just as the decentralized platforms , they are not safe too because you do not hold the keys while decentralized platforms they are targets by most hackers.

I'll choose to keep it to a wallet first where I have full control if I go somewhere else. I wouldn't even trust my mobile on keeping in either.
For at least four months. I used to use Binance savings for stablecoins; it started at 10% for up to $2,000, and now it has decreased to 3-4% at best. I don't trust either type of platform; both have their benefits and drawbacks, but Binance is at least quite convenient to use.
Yeah, I have seen that percentage before because it was considered high and very enticing.

I understand why it is being liked by many and even it is a centralized platform and have been decreasing the APY for it on interest accounts like USDT staking because as you have said, it is convenient.

Did you checked Abra? That is the another platform where I am interested in putting my USDT because it offers compound interest and 10% for USDT and for other stable coins, 7%.

1114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency are digital assets on: April 08, 2023, 05:57:32 AM
Yes, cryptos are assets but not all of them can be a good store of value and to be held. As said, the best crypto to hold is bitcoin and you've got the assurance of your money in there.

But we can't just stop those investors that goes into the path of random altcoins because that's what they like to have.

They might be patient but they don't have the nicest choice which we have been spoonfeeding them for a long time to buy bitcoin.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you consider yourself as a risk taker if you buy bitcoin? on: April 07, 2023, 07:23:27 PM
Investing and gambling are both risky. As you've explained, if there's no assurance that you'll be making money with the use of your money, then there's a risk.

And as someone who's holding bitcoin that sees volatility on it and have no issues on it, then you've taken the risk thus, you're a risk taker.

Even if you're not doing anything and you're just holding it, you're an investor that bears risk and much better if you're that type of investor that understands it. Not those type that are investing yet they don't know what they're doing.
1116  Economy / Gambling / Re: betzus.com ♠Crypto + Fiat Online Casino , Sportsbook , Slots , Games [Big Bonus] on: April 07, 2023, 03:02:03 AM
Welcome betzus to the forum!

I am confused about the text and the amount written on the image. You said that bonus can go up to 1.5BTC but then the image says 6BTC or $8k.

Can you also give clarity to those issues like the licensing that has already expired? Many are waiting for your response and hopefully you will not ignore everyone's reply to your thread.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: April 07, 2023, 12:24:45 AM
An unexpected team created by the Old OG have a good run here in the DPC WEU Spring and they dominated the game really bad, they didn't pick the necessary draft instead they created a new kind of meta draft, the match of OLD G vs In the breach, ITB have a good drafting but topson makes a new way to get into mid and sustain their fast game, Topson for aghanims healing and burst damage Oracle plus with the sustain of abadon and rat strategy of NP seems like a dirty strategy, in the game 2 the ITB makes desperate they draft techies and the TB just to win the game but instead they still lose with the Topson Snap and NP carry of Reso.
It wasn't an unexpected team but they have done it even before IIRC but they didn't find any success. OG itself did also made an OG seed team but disbanded after not getting success.  While on the last TI, played along side with a SEA team together with ana but also didn't found success.

At least on this OLD G, they are enjoying and having a good run on their division 2 journey going to division 1. As Ceb even said, it is even tougher to deal with division 2 teams than div 1.

Players that are on this roster are open to explore a huge hero pool and no pressure on each them. I think it is always Ceb that gives a lot of value to the team and those unorthodox strategies that Topson does like Oracle mid, I saw that when he was still with T1 but wasn't effective and that was because his former teammates and executions.

On their match with ITB, having that oracle and abaddon heroes. Topson was brilliant thinking of unli sustain with Oracle.
1118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Btc mining or staking crypto? on: April 06, 2023, 12:08:44 PM
Mining bitcoin, choose it if you've got the means and resources because it is not cheap.

While staking, do not be confused by what the exchanges and wallets are labelling that you can stake bitcoin because you can't. Bitcoin is a proof of work and that is why it is needed to be mined. Those are just like deposit and interest accounts which they require bitcoin as the actual deposit.

As for other cryptos, ETH was once a Pow and then shifted to Pos. If I am to choose and have money, I will choose to mine because it is a satisfying feeling that I help confirm transaction and contributes to the network.

But then, it is the opposite so the best for me is just to keep on buying bitcoin and hold it.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 06, 2023, 10:10:52 AM
If a casino is transparent, it would have a strong and reliable community that can prove whether the result of real or not. I don't think casinos will provide transparency regarding the winners and it's very rare nowadays. However, I like the idea of having a trusted streamer who would do the draw live for transparency. Through it, gamblers could see transparency and legitimacy which can also increase the reputation rate of a casino.
They won't give that detail on how they have picked those winners and users eligible for the drops they will provide. Well, having it livestreamed will still create some doubts on users that won't be picked on those draws even it is for the sake of transparency and they might say that all are scripted and still not transparent.

On this, whatever the casino chooses in their selection or gives the hint how they are picking and show how transparent they are, there will still be those that won't be satisfied with their methods.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon CEO of Chase Bank on Banking Crisis on: April 06, 2023, 08:52:57 AM
I'd like to buy some gold and silver as part of diversification but just as what we do in buying bitcoin, buying at the top might be a wrong move and will just generate some serious regrets. And as far as everyone is concern, we have heard a lot from Jamie.

Whether he is telling the truth that he knows or not, the guy has always been the type of person that likes to spread rumors and FUD. It has been told that we were already in a crisis and it is not yet solved.

For someone who's scared of the crisis should have already known that staying on and having bitcoin is the best counter to the current and more worse situations.
