2121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][BOS] Bosscoin - Proof of Work - V1.0 on: December 12, 2013, 01:10:33 PM
As this coin is quite new, I'll give it a shot. Started mining at http://bsspool.dyndns.org.  I like JohnDorien (the owner) his pools Wink. I was also active on his AppleCoin pool, which made me large amounts of money.
2122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin on: December 12, 2013, 01:07:14 PM
Allright Wink.

I saw the price of a single TagCoin is about 0,00175 BTC currently at Cryptsy. It use to be higher, but that doesn't bother me; I bought myself a nice amount of TagCoins at this cheap price! Smiley
2123  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptsy (Warning!) on: December 12, 2013, 12:54:24 PM
They didn't stole anything, it's just not visible.  If you would even use the search function of this forum once, you would have known.

Cryptsy wasn't prepared for these amounts of users (and trades made), that's why they have a delay in answering (thousands of) tickets and because their servers aren't prepared for this, the website is slow and things like this happen.

I "lost" some BTC and some DigitalCoin due to this, but after I made a few new buy and sell orders regarding these coins, they appeared again in my balances.

Submit a ticket and (eventually) contact BigVern himself through Twitter and you will be allright.

Next time read the hundreds? of posts regarding these issues before you blame Cryptsy and write that they stole all your money and are a "scam company".

Looks nice Wink. Unfortunately for the mienrs the difficulty has grown to 9 already (which used to be below 3 before).  However, they're more worth now than they were before. Well done!
2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Applecoin - Exchange, Pools, Block Explorer, Forum, $800K+ Market Cap on: December 12, 2013, 11:27:05 AM
Now block #20,000 has been reached, this coin looks doomed.. The difficulty has decreased to a 4.7 currently, but that damn "n-factor" is screwing this up. Is that factor also going to change? I can only mine with a 350 Kh/s, which was about 5000 kh/s at the begin of this coin ánd the rewards are much lower now..
2126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin on: December 12, 2013, 10:34:43 AM
Nice! Smiley. What do you pay for 1 kwH if I may ask? It's about €0,20 here, which is also quite high I think.

I think organizations like Greenpeace will start complaining if we move all our miners to countries with could temperature. That extra heat will make that ice melt even more over there, and the sea level will increase too ^^.
2127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements. NEW SITE on: December 12, 2013, 10:25:17 AM
They do, as they have far too many tickets to handle. All they reply (untill now atleast) is whether your tickets is still relevant, as many tickets are already inrelevant. It takes them 5 to 15 minutes to solve a single ticket, and there are still more than 2000? 3000? tickets to go..
2128  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Nederlandse Quarkcoin (QRK) P2Pool on: December 11, 2013, 11:33:17 PM
Ik heb me nog niet echt verdiept in deze coin, maar wat maakt deze coin zo bijzonder? In no time had deze coin een hope aanhangers. Komt dit door de mogelijkheid van CPU mining, waardoor ook mensen zonder degelijke videokaart kunnen joinen? Biedt deze coin features die andere coins niet oefenen?

2129  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Galaxycoin on: December 11, 2013, 11:31:19 PM

2130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency - many coin - wow on: December 11, 2013, 10:48:24 PM
Why not call it DogCoin? ^^

However, I give the network my hashrate for the next hour. Long Live DogCoin!

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177133.0 to see why you cannot post yet. There is also a topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=15911.0) where you can request to be placed on the "white list".

Otherwise, post some messages and be online for 4 hours. Goodluck, and welcome 'on board'!
2132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: officially have BTC now on: December 11, 2013, 10:43:44 PM
Congratz!

Everyone has to start anywhere. You might "re-invest" your BTC by trading them for altcoins on example Cryptsy (https://www.cryptsy.com/users/register?refid=11356) and after that trade them back to BTC with profit. In 2 days I doubled the amount of BTC I started with Wink.  But be sure that you now that particular altcoin market, so you know what low prices are and what high prices are.
2133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC][TAG][ARG][PPS][Stratum + Getwork] CryptoPools.com on: December 11, 2013, 10:08:16 PM
Allright. Thank you for your response. I'm going to try it out soon Wink.
2134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC][TAG][ARG][PPS][Stratum + Getwork] CryptoPools.com on: December 11, 2013, 09:25:54 PM
Allright Smiley

Could you also answer my question:
Quote
On topic, I was wondering whether it's able to fill in a Cryptsy depositaddress at the pools, and particular at the NoirBits pool. Does anyone know this?
Because i'm transferring my wallets currently, depositing at Cryptsy works fine to store it safe for a while
2135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements. NEW SITE on: December 11, 2013, 07:23:27 PM
Cryptsy silently delisted XenCoin (XNC) two weeks ago. I want to withdraw my XNCs.

@Cryptsy, Why?

Same with Orbitcoin, +2 weeks now, no one can withdraw from their ORB deposit wallet at Cryptsy, meanwhile the coin is traded at Coins-E, thanks Cryptsy!
Open up for trade or let us withdraw our coins!

Indeed!  I submitted a ticket about XenCoin and how I am able to withdraw them. The only thing I receive are canned replies which doesn't make sense at all.  Let's give them a few more days.

I've got the same problem. It isn't possible to withdraw them right? Submitted a ticket about this, but after more than a week still no decent answer was given.

Hm.. Or some people or groups have incentives in increasing prices. For example because they want the prices to raise to they can sell (/ dump) their coins at a higher price? I don't know.

I saw insane orders, high above the current price, multiple times. I think someone wanted to increase the price like this for some reason..
2139  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Re: McxNow // Cryptsy aandelen on: December 10, 2013, 07:55:39 PM

I see my account is locked on http://gdc.cryptohashery.com.  Did that "as the hashrate on  http://gdc.cryptohashery.com is still low" message do that? That would be a shame ^^

However, mining @ http://gdc.nordicminers.eu is working fine for me now.
