Dat 'redeemen' van hardware is inderdaad wel positief. Als je echt zoveel Gh/s hebt, kun je altijd het apparaat zelf nog verkopen om proberen je break even te bereiken of zelf winst.

Het voordeel van Cex.io is inderdaad dat je je Gh/s weer kunt verkopen. Echter kan dat alleen tegen de actuele koers; deze daalt ook.. (na mate de difficulty stijgt / winstgevendheid daalt).

Ik snap je laatste vraag niet echt.

Als je die backup gebruikt en je 'wachtwoord' dus gebruikt, dan is dit gewoon hetzelfde als je originele wallet zeg maar, dus de wallet die je op je PC hebt.

Wanneer je een backup maakt van een wallet zónder beveiliging en je beveiligt vervolgens je wallet, dan is deze backup niet meer te gebruiken. Je zult een backup moeten maken nádat je je wallet hebt beveiligd.

Indien je laptop/computer wordt gestolen (respect voor een dief die tegenwoordig met een desktop gaat lopen ^^), dan kunnen ze je wallet openen, inzien maar geen transacties maken. Ditzelfde geldt voor als ze een USB -stick stelen waarop een backup (van een wallet mét beveiliging) staat. Je hebt áltijd je 'wachtwoord' nodig om transacties te doen.

I totally agree. But I think we've a long way ahead of us.. I think many people will sell most of their BC's as soon as the price increases a bit.

Leuk idee. Ik ben zelf eens op zoek geweest naar een 0,05 lening omdat ik die net te kort kwam (en de rest in altcoins had zitten die ik op rond die tijd tegen een zeer lage waarde niet wilde verkopen). 0,02 is wel klein inderdaad, maar desalniettemin een leuk initiatief.

Scrypt.CC is inderdaad een leuk idee, maar ik vind ze zelf echt veel te duur. Ik maak vaak de vergelijking met de Scrypt ASICS die nu of binnenkort geproduceerd worden. Zie for example https://www.fibonacci.io/. Voor 1 Recursion Scrypt ASIC (met 8.65 Mh/s) betaal je daar $400. 8.65 Mh/s op Scrypt.CC kost je momenteel 12.49777950 BTC ($6161.41 USD)

Natuurlijk, de Fibonacci ASICs zijn nog in ontwikkeling. Maar zelfs als ze in juli of augustus actief worden, lijkt mij dat véél goedkoper. Overigens worden deze de komende tijd gehost (en eventueel ook langer als je wil, dus dan heb je hetzelfde effect (dat je thuis geen apparatuur hebt staan)).

This coin definately deserves more than the current value. I haven't sold a single MicroCoin because I believe in its potential and future. (And yes, I could have earned a lot of LTC's by selling my stack, but I  didn't.).

I see, allthough the homepage shows for example 8.4 Mh/s for the Recursion, and as soon as you click on the recursion it shows 8.6 Mh/s (as is the correct hashrate currently, according to JasinLee).
