I'm running on windows 8 - I installed wallet and it's been synching for nearly two days now.
was down to about 135,000 remain blocks - then jumped back up to 320,000 blocks
can someone tell me what going wrong?
is the block chain screwed up on this coin?

I don't think it's forked ("screwed up"). Do you have the correct addnodes in your config? You should leave it open for a few hours. Maybe it will start synching completely then. I reinstalled the wallet and it started at about 786,000 and now it's down to 680,000 I wish there were somewhere you could just download a constantly updated file to save everyone from having to go through this - you know? then when they installed the wallet - they'd be up to date this is what I have : addnode=198.58.99.249

Anyone updates on this Blaater?  Make sure that it will keep running stable ^^. man, that's about a two month ROI if everything holds.

Great news, keep up the good promotion work!
About the x11 algoritm.. I think it has future. However, we experienced a huge growth in Scrypt coins when they became popular. I think the same will happen to x11. Now the Scrypt ASICs are slowly taking over the market, we (EduCoin) might get more hashrate too.. These ASICs aren't on the x11 market right? I'm not sure whether that's good or bad, but I know many x11 coins will be developed the following weeks.

I think scrypt mining is only worth it to mine with asic miners at the moment. GPU mining of scrypt is too ineffective. So the only thing for GPU mining right now is X11 algo. For the next few months the X11 coins will be a lot more than the scrypt ones. So if you have GPUs for mining I suggest mine X11 coins or even Groestl - best hash for power...better even than the X11 algo.
As for the clevermining I had very good time mining here until a month ago. I switched to X11 mining two weeks ago. So if Terk sets up a X11 clever mining I will be happy to mine there.

I agree with you. I haven't mined a single X11 coin yet, because I burned down my miner (5 weeks ago, and still waiting for the GPU to return..). But indeed, the ASICs will dominate the Scrypt market now. A x11 Multipool ( > CleverMining pool) really should be created, because I think it definately has future. |

Ik heb in het hele begin van Doge even de coins gemined en daarna niet meer (toen ik de enorme totale hashrate zag). Desalniettemin, die coins die ik toen even had gemined heb ik best gunstig kunnen verkopen en er een leuk centje aan overgehouden . However, ik had de coins op een beter moment kunnen verkopen.. maar dat is altijd achteraf. Momenteel doe ik niets meer met Doge. Ik heb nog een x-aantal DogeCoins in m'n wallet staan, maar die laat ik gewoon staan. |

maybe it's not worth to mine. You should find an active pool. I think there still are some. However, this coin isn't as profitable anymore as it was earlier. (It might be in the future, but we can't say that now). |

Ah okee. Daar ben ik nog nooit geweest, maar goed om te zien dat ook daar de Bitcoin leeft ^^. Leuke dag gehad? Hmm, ja. Was lekker weer en heerlijk gezellig. Zeker na een paar biertjes. Bij jou dan? Tja, werk hè . Maar heb op zich een prima dag gehad. Jammer dat het rond +/- 23u ging regen, maar toen was ik gelukkig bijna klaar om naar huis te gaan. Met een beetje geluk ontwikkelt de Nederlandse Bitcoin Community zich fors dit jaar, wellicht zien we dan volgend jaar met Koningsdag diverse kraampjes die óf Bitcoins aanbieden óf Bitcoins accepteren.
Hoop ik toch zeer, dat zou namelijk heel leuk zijn. Denk wel dat het gaat gebeuren, ook omdat Mollie nu ook Bitcoins accepteerd. Dat zal zeer zeker helpen.

Microcoin is still unknown. Even if price is low now, it's my favourite coin for all it's features and planned services. Many people may see it so if popularity gains. And you should know that the name is really important for people if they have to decide whether to trust in MRC or not - and therefore MRC has a big bonus because it's one of the best names for a coin ;-) I'm patient and i just want to say that the planned payment service is the main reason for me to see Microcoin different to all the other coins. Problems at block 310,000 showed us that there are really some people supporting the coin.
That's not an eulogium, i just wanted to give a neutral rating how other people could see the situation, too. I know there's still much to do.
I totally agree with you. I think the only reason why this coin isn't really popular at this moment, is because there are way too many coins already. And new ones are still developed each day. The whole Crypto Community is just too small to make all these coins a success. However, time will tell which coins are solid. I think MicroCoin is part of it. As soon as people leave the shitcoins, MicroCoin will gain value again. |

De grootste kostenpost zijn de ontwikkelkosten. De chips zelfs zijn erg goedkoop, vooral als je op een hoger procedé zit (40nm +). Het maakt de verkopers daarom niet veel uit om er wat chips meer bij te doen om niet te riskeren dat vele orders geannuleerd worden.
En nee, de recursion van fibonacci zal hoogstwaarschijnlijk niet meer bestaan uit één chip. Evenals alpha-t en flower technology zijn allemaal omhoog gegaan met rekenkracht om zo geen of zo weinig mogelijk orders te verliezen aan KNC of andere concurrenten.
Inderdaad. Momenteel hebben ze in gedachte om de Recursion miner zo te maken dat deze uiteindelijk geleverd kan worden als USB miner. De hashrate was toen ik 'm kocht rond de 3 Mh/s geloof ik (of was dit nog lager?) en is nu verhoogd naar 8.65 MH/s. Deze kan nog hoger worden zodra de producten van concurrenten effectiever worden . Persoonlijk vind ik het wel handig dat de miners van hun de eerste periode gehost worden. Dat heb ik liever dan dat ik zelf hier iets 24/7 moet draaien , en bovendien kunnen zij (de hosters) kapotte devices direct vervangen. |

Haha well done. Op Betarigs staan ook enorme miners.. Vrees dat je daar niet het grootste rig hebt haha.
Het lijkt mij niet dat het mogelijk is dat je je miner zowel available hebt staan op leaserig en op betarigs tegelijk. Wellicht kun je de eigenaren daarvan mailen? Wie weet weten zij wél een oplossing.

Bij een van de kraampjes waar ik was accepteerden ze ook BTC en dan kreeg je ook nog eens 30% korting. Helaas geen tijd gehad om een praatje te houden met die persoon, maar zeer zeker leuk om te zien.
Naar welke stad was jij geweest? Ik was zelf aan het werk in (de binnenstad van) Breda. Daar heb ik geen kraampjes gezien. Zij hebben daar wel een kindervrijmarkt in een park. Niet dat ik daar ben geweest, maar ik verwacht ook niet dat zij Bitcoin accepteren of zelfs verkopen ^^. |
