2121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: September 28, 2021, 09:17:46 AM
I have been in lots of argument lately with close friends who keep dragging this subject matter. A friend of mine was of the opinion that an asset is any commodity that has a unit of symbol with monetary value attached to it while a currency has an exchange value that can be used in exchange for commodities. This very friend was of the opinion that bitcoin isn't a currency that its an asset because its value isn't stable and has volatility

Another said bitcoin is both an asset and a currency depending how the user chooses to treat it. He was of the opinion that while bitcoin can be used in exchange for goods and services it can also serve as a store of value where you convert your fiat to a digital asset waiting for it to appreciate.

For me I will go with my other friend who said bitcoin can serve both purposes which depends on two major factors:
  • Your country
  • You as an individual

Your country:
In my opinion you can't use bitcoin as a currency in a country where it is not legalized or a country where bitcoin is banned. Some countries has restricted ezchnagers from carrying out their business within the region so in such places you can't use your coin for commercial purpose you it will only serve as an asset

As an individual:
This is based on your choice if you are lucky enough to base in a country where bitcoin is legalized or a country where the government decides to remain mute of crypto related issues you can decide either to store yours as an asset or use it as a currency. But in countries with low civilization you will have the challenge of using it as a currency because it hasn't been accepted as a legal tender.

what is your take on this

Arsenal is destroying Tottenham's defense. At the end of the first half, Arsenal is ahead by 3 goals. Tottenham has yet to score a goal. Arsenal midfielders Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe made a goal and an assist. I don't think Tottenham has a chance to win this match. Kane is still formless. I have not seen any better performance than him in this match.
Arsenal choose to wow its fans today. 3goals in the first half alone is mind blowing. It would be difficult for spurs to equalize. It would take extra work. I could see the frustration on Harry Kane. This is the best appearance for Arsenal this season. Bukayo saka having 1goal and 1 assist

Let's see what the second half what have to offer  if Tottenham concede another goal it would be a slap on Tottenham
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 26, 2021, 02:45:17 PM
Southampton 0:1 Wolves goal by Raúl Jimenéz assisted by José Sà in the 61' what a classical finish.
So, the derby lineups are out.

Arsenal: Ramsdale - Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney - Partey, Xhaka - Saka, Odegaard, Rowe - Aubameyang
Tottenham: Lloris - Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Reguillon - Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Alli, Moura, Son - Kane

I'm favoring Arsenal here, 2.5 odds at home are decent against a rival that is out of form as well. Kane to score might be a good bet though.
With this line up for spur it would be an unforgettable experience for arsenal players this would be the 4th goal Arsenal will concede this season . I wouldn't risk placing a bet on Arsenal to win. I can't wait to watch Harry Kane and Lucas Moura frustrate Arsenal defense .
2124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware and Bitcoin on: September 26, 2021, 12:08:52 PM
The US Treasury department has a point on this but should also consider that this ransomware attackers hide within exchanges to get ransom for their attacks but sanctioning this exchange is a like blaming a man for been attacked by an anonymous armed robber. I believe theCzech Republic and Russia-based business Suex OTC  might not really know how the wallets of this Randsomware attackers get funded so the US Treasury department  would be going too extreme blaming them

Before going into trading after acquiring the knowledge you should make up your mind on losses when the occur because its part of the business the fact is losses will serve as the price you will have to pay to learn which strategy obeys the market most and also when to avoid the market.

Have a good control of your emotions and ensure you spend enough time on analysis, do enough back testing and try to compare at least two time frames that is a top down analysis all this can help give you good entry points

Manchester United lost to Aston Villa today. I never dreamed Manchester United would lose to Aston Villa. Manchester United is a lot like PSG. Lots of star players on the team but the performance on the field is very poor. I haven't seen any good performances from the Manchester United team since taking Ronaldo to the team. However, in this match, I lost the bet. Those who bet on the victory of Aston Villa are the beneficiaries.

There was something wrong with Man United in their midfield. Bruno-Pogba-Greenwood did not play really well to give great assist to Ronaldo. Greenwood is the worst, he was so selfish in this match, he made some speculative shots in bad position while he should be able to find other scenario than made a speculative shot. I dont understand why Ole did not send him off, there are Lingard, Martial and Sancho in the bench who may change the situation. Even worst, Ole prefer to send McTominay off and send Cavani in. Didn't he understand what is wrong with his team?
My annoyance is on Greenwood he was just too selfish with his game  I expected Ole to have subbed him instead of McTominay. Bruno Fernandez gave in his best and as for cavani he came in abit late. Will it be bad to start Ronaldo and cavani. Aston villa has taken their good chance on the mistakes of Manchester united. Sincerely I am not happy with Greenwood. Any one can lose out on a penalty shoot out even the most experienced player so Bruno losing a penalty shoot out is just normal

Everton Vs Norwich city , Led city west harm, Leicester
city vs Burnley. We still have more games to focus on what's the prediction on this
2127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 25, 2021, 12:30:43 PM
Chelsea vs Manchester City match is about to start today's lineups look like this:
Chelsea (3-5-2): Mendy; Azpilicueta (c), Christensen, Rudiger; James, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Lukaku, Werner
Subs: Arrizabalaga, Chilwell, Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Loftus-Cheek, Saul, Havertz, Hudson-Odoi, Ziyech
Manchester City (4-3-3): Ederson; Walker, Dias (c), Laporte, Cancelo; Rodri, De Bruyne, Silva; Foden, Jesus, Grealish
Subs: Steffen, Ake, Stones, Fernandinho, Lavia, Mahrez, Palmer, Sterling, Torres
Honestly this match is difficult to call but I am siding with Chelsea for this one, they just look like a stronger team... sorry City fans but prove me wrong.
My prediction: Chelsea 1-0 Manchester City

I'm watching the match for 20 minutes, the ball is in the possession of the Manchester City players. Chelsea can't keep the ball in their possession. However, the players of both teams are very careful. No team would want to concede a goal at first. But I will expect goals from both teams. I am waiting in front of the TV to enjoy the competitive match.
Chelsea team are playing defensive game ball possession after the first half Chelsea 33.3 and Manchester city 66.7 corners Chelsea 1 vs Manchester city 9. Chelsea is lacking strikers for this very match. Manchester city is out for a revenge.

Manchester united is missing out of goal opportunities greenwood is been too selfish with having his name on the score board. His first attempt was meant to be a pass so Ferdinandez could do a clean finish up.
2128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Single pair trading or double pair? on: September 25, 2021, 10:46:09 AM
Try to do both of it and see how effective you are with either of it. We're not the same as we trade and results really vary as per trader. You have to look it at your own experience which is more profitable to you. So if you're good with the first pair and it's profitable then try to stay there for a week or so and then if it's no longer profitable, change your strategy and do the other. In the end of it, it's still how you trade, how you analyze and decide per trade you do.
Double pair (twin trade) can be very tempting atimes and it invariably stresses the account size. For me it would be better he masters single trading get comfortable with it then advance to double trade and if @op decides to double trade then he should scalp with the second trade to avoid bearing losses bigger than his account size
2129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The psychology of stoploss on: September 25, 2021, 10:41:06 AM
So what is your challenge to using stoploss?
When I choose to scalp I hardly use stop losses and most time I just stay at the mercy of the market but when ever I choose to hold on to a position for a longer Period of  time I apply stop loss. Stop loss can be helpful but a times it kicks one out of a trade too early and after triggering my stoploss it begins its move towards my analyzed direction and this alone can be so frustrating
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 25, 2021, 10:32:12 AM
If you are left with only one option amongst the two which would you prefer to watch:
Chelsea Vs Manchester city and Manchester united vs Aston villa. I'm so sure many viewing centers will have issues selecting which game to view because both Manchester united fans and Chelsea fans would prefer theirs to be aired. For you which would you prefer to watch. For me I rather watch Rinaldo perfomance live then go back to watch a highlight of Romelo lukaku later on how about you?
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 25, 2021, 10:23:42 AM
In today's matches I bet on the victories of Real, Atletico and Sevilla. Real and Atletico are favorites in almost every match of the Spanish League, so their nomination is not surprising. Sevilla started the season well, has not lost the game yet and should win today with Espanyol.
My predictions for today's laliga fixtures are:
Alavés vs Athlético Maldrid 0:2(odd 1.54)
Valencia vs athletic club       4:2(odd 2.78)
Sevilla vs Espanyol.               1:2(odd 6.75)
Real Madrid vs Villarreal.       3:1(odd 1.53)
For Real Madrid match I predict Karim Benezema to score 2goals, for Valencia a goal from Gomez
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 24, 2021, 10:57:48 PM
Bayern Munich managed to win the match by 3-1 even though they were shown a red card. Pavard was shown a direct red card because of tripping. The score was 2-0 then and Bayern Munich still scored one more goal after this incident and made it 3-0. In the last minutes, Furth found many goal chances and finally they scored also. I appreciated Furth's brave performance here. At least they didn't concede as many goals as Bochum concede last week against Bayern.
Bayern is just too good and coordinated their 1: 3 Victory against fürth can't be said to be a game won on management basis the deserved every goal that went into the net even with a red card the were still able to secure a victory to be Frank Bayern just have a good management plan. It would have OK to say Fürth managed to score atleast a goal
2133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 24, 2021, 10:40:26 PM
Tomorrow is the first chance for Man City to take revenge after the UCL final when they lost against Chelsea but can they win ? To be honest, Chelsea is way more stronger than it was during the UCL run as the team got even more confidence that they are indeed a super team but City is coming with to serve a payback.
I would agree with you that Chelsea is way stronger than it was during the UCL but remember Manchester city also has a strong team and the result most  times is not about whose team is stronger but who makes better use of their chances I think the time left for the kick of is getting closer and both teams are set to given in their best. I would rather bet City to win this game than Chelsea
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ultimate slot experience on: September 24, 2021, 10:12:44 PM
I will deviate away from people way of thinking that slot is a game of luck but in my opinion, it still requires some expertise to play the game and slot just like any other easy to play game it's always going in favor of the house even in a most probably fair system.
Do u have any experience on slot game? If yes you can still share your experience and the possible skill needed to make a consistent win. Remeber the reels spinned are randomly selected so what form of expertise could be employed.

I am of the opinion that slot is a game of luck until I see a technique that has been tasted and is proven to be reliable otherwise it remains a game of luck
2135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: September 24, 2021, 09:59:16 PM
Its still not late you can still buy and hold waiting for the next bull run to take some profit. If you keep having the notion of missing out chances are that you might likely still miss out on the next move take advantage of this very moment I think it haven't gone too high enough yet you can start with the current price take some profit when you see some wait for another dip where you can join the train early enough
2136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: September 24, 2021, 09:50:24 PM
Trading is a long process of learning and entering it without enough knowledge has a huge risk. As for me, having the eagerness to know more about trading would be a good start. Learning the basics and risks of it and knowing how to deal with every market situation is an advantage. Proper mindset plus patience are also needed.
Patience is one key factor when one decides to learn about trading because for any individual who is  new to trading the concept will look totally strange and would take some time to get the concept sink in but with patience and determination.

The whole concept of trading can be quite confusing its not meant to be gambled because gambling would be too risky. Its just important to be grounded on the knowledge and that's just the surest way of earning
2137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: feel like never wanting to use crypto again on: September 24, 2021, 09:39:42 PM
Bad experiences don't actually last I might not know about your experience but if its crypto related then I suspect it might be about the losing out on investments. Losses is still part of the game.

I wish you could be more plain so we can share in your experience because at the moment no one understands what point you are aiming at but giving up so soon could be a course for concern
2138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto declared illegal in China!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: September 24, 2021, 09:25:38 PM
I think the Chinese government are scared of allowing its citizens have total control of their transactions the just want to be involved in every single transaction making everything centralized. But I think this would have little impact on the market and this would be a sad news for exchanges and many might have to relocate to carry out their businesses
2139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blockchain and Gambling on: September 23, 2021, 10:37:09 PM
Disputes will always occur if there is centralized management in it. Many casinos eschew blockchain solutions on all aspects that are prone to conflict even though they offer transparency and fairness. As much as they set the company's terms and rules, some of the customers get inappropriate treatment like withdrawal not allowed, account lockout etc because they are considered to be violating written rules or based on casino's unilateral policies (after manual subjective research).
I strongly agree with you, in every centralized system there must always be this unsatisfied service rendered. It could either arise from the house not willing to pay a won slip or from the gambler who would want make claims to winnings that might go against the gambling policies and since this services can be easily manipulated policies could be made in favour of the company. Blockchain is just a perfect solution
2140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan to trade is a risky task on: September 23, 2021, 09:47:32 PM
Trading on a borrowed currency is like tying a huge rope around once neck. It's very preferred if a trader losses his/her own trading capital because such wouldn't have to remit the loss to anyone but on a borrowed currency the trader would have to source for funds to pay back his loans and also would be under pressure while trading because the capital isn't theirs
