2121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 13, 2022, 03:53:49 PM

Actually Atalanta is a strong team, even quite a lot of people predict Atalanta can qualify for the semifinals. But if we look at Atalanta's declining
form towards the end of the season, even Atalanta in Serie A is in 8th position with two consecutive defeats. I think it's natural that many people
start to change their minds and predict that Leipzig will beat Atalanta in the second leg, even though in the first leg the match ended in a draw.
Because Leipzig in the last few games have improved in performance, not only Dortmund were beaten by Leipzig. However, even Hoffenheim who
were in the top 6 were defeated by Leipzig with a big score. So I also chose Leipzig as the favorite to beat Atalanta in the second leg and qualify
for the semifinals.

Leipzig is a really good team and also has the capability of beating Atalanta. But in this match, I think Atlanta might be able to win. I know that Atalanta has not played really well and has been a little inconsistent in recent times but I don't think the form is too much of an issue in these types of matches. But I really don't expect this to be easy for Atalanta. The aggregate score is level so there will be no advantage or disadvantage from that. I am hoping to see a win for Atlanta.
2122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: April 12, 2022, 03:02:34 PM
today there is good news about altcoins, especially SHIBA INU, because Shiba is rumored to be listing on Robinhood,
of course this is a very positive thing today, it looks like the altcoin market is starting to climb again after the bitcoin price plunged below $40000,
and Shiba also experienced a 15% increase when there is good news, yes, I think Shiba can still be bought,
because some time ago when Doge was listed on Robinhood the price of Doge flew high

Looking at the market, Bitcoin has dropped a lot from last week and I don't see any signs of a positive market here. Everything is still in a downtrend. Shiba is up 15% in the last few hours and it looks like it is going against the market, I don't know the exact reason behind that growth. But Shiba is still very low compared to its old ATH and everything still depends on Bitcoin. So be careful and don't get too excited if Bitcoin falls below the 39k-40k resistance, then I think all altcoins will fall even more.
2123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your shitcoins? on: April 12, 2022, 02:50:10 PM

75% of altcoins in my wallet can't be traded lol...

From late 2017 to late 2019 I often participated in airdrops and also bought ICO tokens but my mistake was being too confident that the tokens would have value in the future. I take this as a lesson so that in the future I can be wiser in investing my money in crypto-assets and only choose trusted and have a good reputation like bitcoin.

Haha lol, I have the same. We only lost time and not money, but we have both learned our lessons. Some bounties can still be interesting but you need to pick wisely and hope that the project becomes a success and gets listed on some major exchanges.
The other shitcoins I bought (including Cummies) have lost around 90% of their value  Grin. Luckily the amount I invested in these coins is always low.

It's not just the two of you I believe that the people here since 2017 will be just like us, all have a lot of shitcoins since 2017 and they are almost worthless. At that time, I also thought that just holding them for a long time would increase the value over time. But things are not as we think, are they? that is also the past and a lesson for us. Yes, never invest a lot and trust a shitcoin sell them when profitable just hold the top coins.
2124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: April 12, 2022, 04:47:22 AM
Haven’t set any goal yet. I'll let my bitcoin hold untill i get satisfied. During bear attack of 2017, i dumped large percentage of bitcoin and still regrating for that unexpected incident. After that i keep adding bitcoin in my portfolio as much i can. Currently i don't have hurray for cash out. If any super worst situation come in my life, i would choice to loan or borrow fiat then but don't want to repeat same mistake again.

It is good if you decide to hold bitcoin for the long term and have no intention of selling it anytime soon. But at least you have to set a specific goal for yourself? 5 years or 10 years from where the bitcoin price will reach and will make you happy to sell your bitcoin.
It would be wrong to panic sell but it is very helpful when we sell bitcoin for our business because our investment goal is profit and service for life.
2125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if she receives Bitcoin as gift on: April 12, 2022, 04:25:31 AM
If I get a gift in the form of bitcoin it's like a miracle to me, I'm very happy and happy but it probably won't happen because I know no one is willing to give a gift in the form of bitcoin.

It is the dream of most who enter this market. Instead of expecting someone to gift you bitcoin, it is better if you share and teach those around you about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. As more people use bitcoin, the chances of getting bitcoin gifts increase. One day when they realize how amazing bitcoin is, maybe they'll have a surprise gift for you.
I also have never received a gift of bitcoin and I am passionate about sharing bitcoins with everyone. I don't expect someone to give me a gift for that, but it would be nice to receive a gift of bitcoins.
2126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 10, 2022, 10:18:31 AM
The fight for the serie A title became insane, now we have napoli and inter both in the second position with just 1 point behind inter, milan lost 2 precious points and inter perfectly benefit from the situation
After this AC Milan draw ball is in Napoli and Inter's side for having good response and take advantage for their own title hopes today we have two very crucial matches first between Napoli vs Fiorentina and then Torino vs AC Milan which are going to have big impact on league table if today Napoli won against Fiorentina then surely they could be in good position because remaining league matches showing some good in favour of Napoli and Inter with AC Milan can lose some more points which can bring them to Third spot and title race could be wide open for these two which are doing good after some bad period in league matches.

But good thing is happening we have some very strong competition in this league after many years which is going to help some good and interesting matches and most chances in next season we will watch same level in next season as well.

It is going to be interesting. The situation is like this if Milan loses even 1 match they are surely going to miss the chance of winning the league. The competition is going to be really hard between Inter and Napoli. Both of them are at the same point at the moment. I don't think Juventus will be able to win the league title. I actually believe that Inter will be able to win this league title this time.
2127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 10, 2022, 10:09:44 AM
Real Sociedad performance quite stable this season and they have good opportunity to finish at top 6 for European zone and today they will fight for away match against Elche which is weak team and this could be good opportunity to wided their gap point with Villareal because compare to Elche their performance are pretty much better and also the records showing Real Sociedad several times win while both of teams met each other
Real Sociedad's performance is more stable than Villarreal's. It seems Villarreal now wants to focus more on Champions League matches. Moreover, Real Sociedad is a stable team. Their defense is very strong and they are consistently able to play well. They collected 10 points in the last 5 matches. And so Real Sociedad is the most favorite for the fifth or sixth position in the table.

Real Sociedad has been quite stable in their performance this season but I have always thought them to be a meteor team. I think they played really well for a mid-table team. They are in the sixth place in the point table right now and that is quite a respectable place for them in my opinion but they can always do better. They also have a Nice point difference from the team that is below them which is Villareal.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: April 10, 2022, 07:43:21 AM
LOL.. yesterday I posted that Keshav Maharaj is in terrific form with the bat. And he top-scored for South Africa in the first innings of the Gqeberha test, by making 84 (batting at no. Cool. South Africa were 300/6 at one point, but they finished at 453. The last four batsmen added more than a hundred and fifty runs between them. And that means Bangladesh require 254 to avoid follow on. Looks difficult, given the fact that they need another 115 runs with just 5 wickets in hand. And surprisingly, Wiaan Mulder has taken three of the wickets that has gone down so far.

I really don't have any high hopes for Bangladesh and especially after the score is 139 for five wickets at the moment. Probably something could happen if Mushfiqur Rahim can play a big inning but other than that I really don't see how Bangladesh she's going to even get closer to the score that was posted by South Africa in the first innings. Things really are not looking good for Bangladesh as they are still trailing by 314 runs.
2129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 30% tax on crypto income in INDIA on: April 10, 2022, 04:23:55 AM
The 30% tax rate does not seem to satisfy the Indian government, recently it has been reported that they want to increase the tax from 30% to 50%. This is crazy, they are clearly trying to discourage Indian investors and force them to give up crypto instead of enacting a law banning it. If this passes, it will be the end of the crypto market in India.

2130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we going to see a new altcoin boom soon on: April 09, 2022, 04:35:54 AM
Today is bad for cryptocurrency after bitcoin crash from $47,000 until $43,000 and several altcoin price drop drastically, I don't see have good expectation on this month to see bitcoin back to higher price above $50,000 until $60,000 and looking several altcoin can make new all time high again. Maybe with war invasion have bad thing with bitcoin and altcoin can't stable on higher price although have many countries and community try to against with Bitcoin and altcoin how to make price keep down.

I don't see anything bad here, bitcoin has dropped from 68k ATH to 40k and there hasn't been any effect from the war. Don't blame the war. Simply because it has gone up so much and it will have to go down, this is how the market has performed over the years. Looking at the cycle of bitcoin, many have predicted that 2022 will be a bearish year and should not expect a breakout this year. In the bearish year a slight bounce in bitcoin is normal and I think we are in a phase of a slight recovery and then further bearish continuation.
2131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the criteria for choosing altcoin on: April 09, 2022, 04:22:16 AM
In investing, of course, we have our own criteria in choosing coins for us to hold, some investors prefer new altcoins that have potential and they do not care about risk and they always hope to get a big profit, but I prefer the old altcoin and already ranked at the top because with the current market conditions it is very suitable for us to invest in the long term in these altcoins.
The strategy of an investor is indeed different and I appreciate you if you choose the top altcoin on Coinmarketcap for a safe investment,
but you must know that the top coin already has a high ROI,
of course the risk that will be accepted is also much higher than in a project ranked 100 and above coinmarketcap,
try to think first.

Picking top altcoins on CMC is a quick and fairly safe way, all of them have had high growth before and are unlikely to give us big profits in the short term. But it will be safe for our investment instead investing in lowcaps.

Risk is always present in investment, so investing in topcoins only helps you reduce risk, but it does not guarantee that there will be no risk. Over time, topcoins will still be displaced if it doesn't evolve and improve.
2132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am big fan of SHIBA on: April 09, 2022, 04:10:31 AM
If you invest in this coins before listing in binance then you are extremely lucky and I recommend to sell half and hold half for future. Shiba is best meme coins and I think the future of Shib is bright because the team are working hard to keep alive this coins and performance of this coin is better than any other meme coins. ~snip~
No one knows what the future holds. But so far shib's development has convinced me a little bit to have it even a little bit. The latest news I heard Shib has been added to one of the crypto ATM networks in the United States. Of course, the development is good, the trust in Shib is growing. In addition, I was also very amazed when Shib as a meme coin has been listed on various large Exchanges. I see in CMC there are already 174 markets.

Doge was the first meme but for what Shiba is doing I prefer Shiba over Doge. Investing in memecoins is really risky as we all know they are just a joke and a tool for the sharks to pump and dump. Like you said who knows what the future will, so I think I will use a small part of my capital to buy Shiba and maybe forget about them for a few years maybe there will be a surprise.
2133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The new star of the stock market is APE COIN!! on: April 09, 2022, 04:01:32 AM
APE COIN is at $12.5, it's the weekend and the stock markets are a little nervous. I'm reading forecasts above $40 for the APE coin. How well this should be discussed.

The short-term increase of APE COIN's price is certainly good news for early investors. But I wouldn't count on it as a serious long-term investment simply because the coin's been designed as a joke. This is nothing more than a Dogecoin 2.0 or Shiba Inu 2.0. People just pour money like crazy into APE with the hopes of getting rich quick. But that's not the way crypto works. Only those projects that bring real use cases to world (and aren't driven by hype) will last a lifetime.

We should move on to truly innovative projects that will retain their value over time. Who knows how long APE COIN will be with us? Just my thoughts Grin

The purpose of creating Ape was to create hype around it and profit nothing more and nothing less. Ape is also a memecoins so if anyone has the opportunity to own it at a cheap price, they should sell it as soon as there are signs of hype.

It's like doge and shiba it's just a joke with no utility so there's no reason to consider it a long term investment.
we should focus on top projects that will be good in the long run instead of looking for hype around shitcoins.
2134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a start of bull rally in ALTCOIN? on: April 09, 2022, 03:42:50 AM
indeed the crypto market is currently increasing, but it is very difficult to determine with certainty whether this is the beginning of a bull run rally, because I see that until now the price of altcoins is still very volatile in the market, most likely the price will decline again and it could also rise again, the point is that we must always be careful in dealing with the current market situation,

Increasing how? have you seen the https://coinmarketcap.com/? looks like the market is in red now, bitcoin is down 3.62% in the last 7 days, so it doesn't say that it's increasing now. The pump maybe just a fake pump or a bull trap, let's see if the price will recover again, but one thing is sure, there's no bull run yet.
Indeed at that time the price of Bitcoin began to rise but for now what happened was that the market was back in the red,
it is not easy to predict the market and hope that conditions like this will only last for a while and can see Bitcoin rise again,
it seems quite difficult to see bullish in the near future we'll see

It was just a short-term rally, without any sign that we are in a bull market. People got so impatient and wanted a bull market again and all fell into the bull trap. We have had a strong bullish year in 2021, so this year will be a year of accumulation or even decline so don't jump to conclusions when you see short-term rallies. I predict bitcoin will not break through 42k resistance, if we lose this resistance we will see more red market.
2135  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: April 08, 2022, 04:02:49 AM
Investing is the ways to success or failed but if you know what is the better is to know the potential of the project that you want to invest. Staking is also an investing and it can make more your holding but you can only do is to put it the website of the project and this is very risky. While investing there are many ways too. You can buy some potential coin that you know can do much in short or long term. Investing can produce more profit if you know much more about trading. Always think twice before you invest.

Of course, when it comes to profits investment is better than stake, but finding, choosing and analyzing a project to invest in is not an easy thing. If we choose the wrong project, we will lose everything. The staking will not bring big profits but it gives you a stable passive income.
Whether investing or staking, we should not put everything in one basket, so it is best to allocate a reasonable portfolio and set clear goals to be able to benefit yourself.
2136  Economy / Economics / Re: Read If you are between 18 and 68 years old! on: April 08, 2022, 03:39:46 AM
If I am between 18 to 68 years old. When I was 18 years old I don't know anything about life or even have plan for the future, during the time I always think that future will be Bright, but at long run and I reach the age of 30 I noticed it has changed that I  have to stand for my self. Than I began to think of making plans for my old age. Someone need to plan for is future since when he/she is very strong.

At the age of 18, we are still very young and only have passion for fun, entertainment and a little extravagance in life. Very few young people have long-term plans for their lives at that age.  Only when we turn 30 or have a small family do we really think about our future in old age and dive headfirst into our goals.
2137  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia to make bitcoin a currency on: April 08, 2022, 03:21:03 AM
I agree with you that the economy has suffered greatly, but this is not immediately visible. Now many cycles with many things and essential products have not yet passed. It is very sad to say this, but Russian citizens will suffer greatly, even though they do not understand it now. Russian stores were banned from raising prices for goods, but this cannot be avoided.
I do not believe in bitcoin as the second currency of Russia.

War will more or less affect people's lives, whether the country is taken over or the country is punished. That is unavoidable.
Bitcoin is not going to be the second currency in Russia but it is already legal and seen as a solution along with the ruble. People can mine bitcoins, use bitcoins as a tool to generate profits or store assets, as a parallel payment method with the ruble.
2138  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: April 08, 2022, 03:05:41 AM
Bitcoin is a very convenient tool for moving capital from one country to another.

In the context of wars, sanctions and currency restrictions, it is very difficult to transfer a large amount of money across the border using fiat currencies or gold.

However, Bitcoin makes it easy to move huge amounts of money between different geographic locations.

You can memorize 12 English words (seed) and travel around the world.  Your capital will move with you.  It is very convenient!

When Russian oligarch Chubais fled the country, he transferred all his savings to Bitcoin, and cashed out these funds at an ATM at Istanbul Airport, receiving fiat currency.

This is one of the many features of bitcoin that can be said to be superior to any other currency or asset. Bitcoins can be transferred anywhere in the world with just a few simple steps.

Bitcoin is also an intangible asset that can help us keep it safe by remembering 12 words, and we can use bitcoins anywhere as long as we have a smartphone and have an internet connection.
2139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy rug us again? on: April 08, 2022, 02:50:07 AM
Its simply a coincidence, the news of Microstrategy buying more bitcoin is good news for the market and not any manipulation. Their buying bitcoin and then bitcoin suddenly dropping in price if they are deliberately manipulating the market it is not in their favor at all.

Since Microstrategy entered the market they are trying to accumulate as many bitcoins as they can, they have not made any move to sell any bitcoins.
2140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 07, 2022, 02:08:59 PM
Alyssa Healy is now the No.1 batter for the ODIs after winning the Cricket World Cup 2022 Player of the Tournament award. The Australian team, even its individual members, are unstoppable since they have devoted decades to women's cricket. Their success shouldn't come as a surprise, but it's inevitable. Australia, England, South Africa and New Zealand continue to lead the bowlers' and allrounders' charts, respectively, throughout the Women's World Cup tournament. As the nation that used to lead in women's cricket, other countries should pay as same attention.

Alyssa Healy deserve to be player of the tournament "The 32-year-old Healy smashed 509 runs - including two hundreds and two half-centuries - across her nine matches at the World Cup, and at an intimidating strike rate of 103.66." Source
While in bowling department its England Sophie Ecclestone who stand at no 1 with 21 wickets in 9 matches, followed by Shabnim Ismail of SA with 14 wickets in 8 matches.

She played really well throughout the whole tournament and she deserved to be the best batsman in women's cricket. She really contributed a lot to win the world cup. And most of the time we can see that when a player gets that much Run, often she has a really bad strike rate.

But in this case, the strike rate is really incredible. England and South Africa both also played well in the tournament but they are not up to the standards of the Australian women's team.
