1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 23, 2023, 07:53:46 PM
In the latter stage Manchester city is so strong. We already witnessed that in the past seasons. So If Arsenal want be guarantee EPL they cannot lose more than 4 points from the remaining 10 games. For sure it is going to be close but I’m convinced that Arsenal  have the mentality to win it. They have mentality monsters in Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko. They won a lot of trophies with Manchester city so I know they’ll pull these young squad through to the final game of the season.
I am very sure Arsenal will finish this season strong since their have already established a strong foundation that will sustain them through the remaining matches in the season, although 10 games ahead is still way high number that will come with many possibilities and performance from opposition club since their all out to win, but this season will end well for Arsenal and also since Manchester city is booked to face Liverpool on 1st of April, it may give Asernal more advantage if Manchester city lose their game against Liverpool.

We have seen Arsenal do some stupid things toward the end of the season. I hope that is not going to happen this time. After all, Arsenal is going for the title this time. Not for the fourth position on the table like they did in the previous season. I expect Arsenal to be consistent. Of course, if Manchester City does lose against Liverpool, it is going to be great for Arsenal. But of course, Arsenal cannot just take things easy hoping that things will turn out for the best. The next match is going to be relatively easy for arsenal which is against Leeds United. Don't expect any big surprises, should be a two - zero win for Arsenal
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 23, 2023, 07:24:37 PM
Which three teams will be in the relegation zone is still completely uncertain. However, Elche does not see any chance of getting out of the relegation zone. They are the last team in the points table. Only 13 points in 26 games. And their performance is very poor. However, Valencia and Almeria have a chance to climb out of the relegation zone if they perform well and win a few matches. Valencia is only 3 points behind Getafe in 13th place in the table. If a team can win 2/3 matches in a row then I think they can move to a safe distance from the relegation zone.
Sevilla are trying to escape from this relegation zone but they will need to have some more good week days to enhance their position and make it safer. Valencia is another big name that has to join this survival competition. Look over Europe, it is a weird season when in Germany, Schalke 04 are struggling to survive and stay in Bundesliga.
I am not fan of either Sevilla or Valencia but I hope they will not be relegated after all.

Sevilla is in the 14th position. But when we look at the points, they are not very far away compared to the teams that are in the relegation zone. They have shown us some good performances here and there. But the overall performance from them was not satisfying enough to say that they should not get relegated. Even if we look at the last five matches of Sevilla, we will see that the performance has not been good. Avoiding relegation is not going to be easy if they do not improve.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 23, 2023, 06:50:57 PM
I think both Hertha and Stuttgart should emulate what Schalke has done, even though winning is so difficult, at least they can hold a draw and share points with the top teams. But again, if the players and coaches don't have more motivation then it will be difficult to achieve it. For three teams like Bochum, Hoffenheim and Koln, lately they haven't been getting maximum results and as you said, their chances of filling a place in the relegation zone may be quite there and they will compete with several of the clubs above to determine the end of the season.
I think it is a bit about motivation but also very much about tactics as well. Schalke just simply parks the bus with so many players, they have defenders which every team has but they do not really have midfielders, technically speaking they do, but those players act as if defense too, they do not go too much far ahead, they end up defending with all they have, so they have 7 people defending, 1 gk, and 2 wingers who still could go back all the way to wing backs, and one striker that stays ahead for counter attack chances.
This allows them to face off everyone with so many players that even without motivation, it's really hard to score on them all the time.

The best thing about Schalke is that they are at least trying to get one point from every match. That is something the teams which are towards the end of the table are often unable to do. The way they are also playing defense and counterattack is also quite good. They do not invest too many players in the attacking because they know they will get caught in the counterattack. They try to defend and whenever they get a chance, they launch the ball forward and create a counterattack. But even then they do not let too many players go up.
1164  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: March 23, 2023, 03:16:11 PM
I live in a small town with an income from working in a company that produces paint and textiles about $ 400 per month, my living expenses are still alone about $ 250, which makes it cheap because I get lunch at the office so I can save costs, but every year the cost of living continues to increase because my country often experiences inflation.
At the moment, the news on inflation is constantly being hyped up, but I feel that this inflation has indeed been going on longer than even since the pandemic started. However, high inflation did start after the pandemic. you are still lucky because the salary you receive is still greater than spending money for your living expenses. so you may still be able to save and invest. but has inflation started to decline in your country? because I feel the inflation rate in my country is starting to fall. I hope that in other countries too.

Inflation happens every day, even when we are in good economic times, but because they are low, below the allowed level, we will hardly feel inflation.

In my country, inflation has not decreased but is more likely to explode when unemployment has not stopped, gasoline prices have fallen, but essential commodities are still increasing daily. I rarely go to the market and always complain about my wife's spending, but yesterday when I took my wife shopping, I was quite surprised because the price has increased more than before New Year's Eve that I have ever seen. I am shocked that the inflation indicators in the US and other countries are showing signs of decreasing, but everything is still very high in our country.
1165  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: March 23, 2023, 03:05:33 PM
Whether a country is developed or not, rich or not, depends a lot on the government because they are the ones who run the country. But if you are poor or just a small part of society can't blame the government entirely, the government can't go door to door to check and help everyone in their country.

The government can only create opportunities for us, but whoever seizes the opportunity is everyone's right, we can't blame the government if we don't do our best. Let's ask a question, why can other people become rich, but we can't? We will know why we are still poor.

I don't think anyone has any doubts that Napoli will eliminate Milan. Besides the fact that Napoli has a better squad than Milan, they are more in shape side with high morale. They want to win everything this season. Milan players' this season performances have been hugely disappointing, except Giroud, Leao and Tonali. On the other hand Napoli have talented young star players who are on the transfer list of every major team. Milan's history may be bigger, but their current situation matters most. Napoli will pass quarter final like a walk in the park.
They will pass Milan very easily. As far as I can see in the league, Milan is having a hard time against other teams in the league. There is no team that Napoli has difficulty with. They can easily beat all of them one after the other. Milan is a great team with deep-rooted past victories, but everything matters in its time. An easy match for Napoli, I don't expect a different result. I'm more curious about what will happen next. They don't stay where they can go very far.

The AC Milan team is not strong this season. The team has been weak this season and their performances have been erratic. They are fighting hard to stay in the top four of the points table. Even so, it doesn't seem possible for them to finish in the top four of the table. They have not won in the last three matches. On the other hand, Napoli is playing well in every match. More importantly, Napoli's players are still very confident.

Napoli will play a home match against AC Milan in Serie A before facing off in the Champions League. I guess Napoli will not give their full effort in this match. Because Napoli will not face big problems even if they lose points in Serie A. But Napoli will definitely win the Champions League match.

India need 27 runs from just 13 balls to win. India is under a lot of pressure right now. They have already lost 9 wickets. But it looks like India will not be able to win today's match. I bet for India in today's match but I never imagined that India would do so badly. It is very sad that they could not win today in India's own ground. However, don't give up hope yet, let's see what India can do. However, the target of 270 runs given by Australia was not much. But India themselves made the match very difficult.
Australia won the match by 21 runs. After giving Australia a target of 270 I expected India to win. But they failed. Not to say that the team's top-order players performed poorly. But no batsman could play a big inning. Virat Kohli scored the highest 54 runs for the team. India could have won this match if any batsman batted with some responsibility and stayed at the crease. India could have won if Suryakumar Yadav and Jadeja batted a bit better. Despite winning the Test series, India lost the ODI series.
While India's top order did not perform badly one of the batsmen managed to play a big innings with Virat Kohli top scoring with 54 runs. You believe that any of the Indian batsmen could have won the match if they had batted more responsibly and stayed at the crease and you identify Suriyakumar Yadav and Jadeja as potential players who could have made the difference. Despite winning the Test series India seem to have lost the ODI series against Australia. It is always disappointing to come close to victory but not quite make it but it is important to remember that there are many factors that affect the outcome of a cricket match and that each team has its strengths and weaknesses.

A target of 270 runs cannot be called a big target. Rohit Sharma returned to the dressing room with 30 runs off 17 balls. There was no need for such hard-hitting at the beginning of the innings. Had he batted responsibly, India would have been able to win. India lost their first wicket by 65 runs. There was a big enough partnership. They lost the second wicket for 77 runs and lost the third wicket for 146 runs. And soon after that the Indian batsmen lost the truck. And the Australian bowlers took control of the match. India would have been in control of the match if the top-order players batted with some patience.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is for the important things on: March 22, 2023, 08:31:51 AM
I'm simple person, what I want in this life is to have my own land and house, even a secondhand car, a small business, and most of all to save at least 1 bitcoin before the bull run season.

And the most important thing for me to achieve those is that I must find a way to have money and I have to work and work hard for it. In our time, wherever we go in the world, money is always associated with the things we need in our daily lives.

In my opinion, that is a lot, they are no longer a simple dream, a man if he has all that plus a happy family. That's a successful man, that's everyone's wish, not just you. And to get there, there is no other way to help us but money, but to have money we have to work hard. It can be said that money is the most important thing in this day and age, without money, there is nothing, including family happiness. Money is very important, it decides everything.
1169  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: March 22, 2023, 08:21:40 AM
Because legal or not legal things in that country really affect what else, like the big country of the United States, it clearly really influences not only bitcoin but all of it, I think

Any policies carried out by big countries are of course very impactful, but we should be happy because the USA legalizes bitcoin and regulates cryptocurrencies, it is only natural that some of the top exchanges based in the USA get high trust from investors, and of course the US government sees that there are opportunities and benefits to be had by legalizing cryptocurrencies.

The United States is also just a country in the world, they do not have the right to control or dominate the whole world. I mean, if they don't legalize bitcoin, there is nothing to fear, bitcoin can survive and thrive without them. They need bitcoins, bitcoin doesn't need them, as long as there are other countries that accept bitcoins, it doesn't matter if the US legalizes bitcoins. Bitcoin is the technology of the future, if they don't accept it, they will become obsolete, being a power they have to understand that.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 20, 2023, 07:16:41 PM
Milan v Napoli is like a Serie A match to me. I don't see any difference between their looks in the Serie A and Champions League as well. Napoli are very strong here as well while Milan don't have a very reliable performance. Maybe you will say that Milan are still good here due to eliminating Tottenham. But it was mostly due to Tottenham's being really terrible against them. Tottenham were a big disappointment just as they were in the most of the season. But it wouldn't be the same scenario against Napoli.

Napoli are a very competitive team in the Champions League as well. They really want the best achievement they can get here. It isn't very difficult for them to make it to the final stage too considering the draw.

Napoli is playing really well in the Italian League, there is no doubt about that. But in the Champions League, I wonder how they are going to perform. This is a match that they are very familiar with. So they should not have too many problems beating Milan.

Personally, I do not want to make any predictions before watching the first leg. I want to see the first leg to have an idea. Now the general prediction is that of course, Napoli is going to win. But this is the champions League. It is not going to be as simple and easy as the Italian League.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 20, 2023, 06:56:45 PM
PSG has two of the best players in the world Messi and Mbappe in the attack. Rennes' defenders were able to successfully block these two players. Rennes' defense was very solid in this match.
If Rennes has to thank anyone, that's their goalkeeper as he was bascially the man of the match. Either way PSG is a mess and woulnd't put a dime on them.

This was a classic example of PSG not being able to take their chances well. PSG missed a lot of chances.
Of course, those chances were not easy. But their opponent, Rennes, took the chances well.

We already knew that the defense of PSG was not good. And now the attacking of PSG is also not working perfectly.
And that's because of the lack of finishing from Mbappe. The goalkeeper of Rennes had the performance of his life.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 20, 2023, 06:46:25 PM
I think with Arsenal going 8 points clear at the top of the league table will increase the pressure on Manchester City to want to get a must win in their next premier league game. Manchester City are currently distracted with the champions league, they will be facing Dortmund in the UCL soon and I think Pep will prioritize winning the UCL over the epl because the champions league trophy has eluded him for so many years at Manchester City. He would not want to lose this chance. This gives Arsenal the advantage in the race for the trophy, Manchester city is not a team to underestimate so Arsenal will have to be at their best performances to win the title.
Arsenal fc will be the champions of English Premier league and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Same as Barcelona is the champions of Laliga.
Barcelona crashed out of the Champions League and Europa league and focused on Laliga and last night they became the champions.
Likewise Arsenal crashed out of the Europa and they will focus on the English Premier League and become the champions.

Arsenal is 8 points clear but at the same time, Manchester City has played one match less compared to Arsenal. Now I do not think it is going to be a good idea for Arsenal to take things easy. They will have to perform better if they want to be the English Premier League title champion.

I don't know if Manchester City is actually 100% interested to win the English Premier League title. At least I think they are not more interested in the English Premier League title this time, at least not more than the Champions League trophy. I think the main target of Manchester City is to win the Champions League trophy and finish in the top three of the English Premier League. And that gives Arsenal a little more breathing space.
1173  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 19, 2023, 02:56:20 PM
This life has a lot of things to care about, not only money, if you have money without other things but you also are not a successful person, we need to balance everything to have a fulfilling life.

But I'm seeing our world going in the wrong direction and being pragmatic, money being put first, and without money, you don't have anything else. Without money, you won't get the attention of your loved ones, you can't maintain family happiness, and without money, you won't have health. Money is taking center stage and your life is good or not depending on how much money you have.
That is true, money is not the "most" important thing, but I disagree with people who keep saying that money doesn't bring happiness for example. Because, I rather be rich and be like this then not rich and exactly who I am today.

I mean think about it, do you think poor people don't have issues? Non money related stuff as well, don't you think they have health issues? Love issues? Child issues? Job issues? They have so many issues in their life AND they are poor, for example I had a loved one passed away last year, or cancer on someone else (thank god she is better) or my own health or million other things. I rather be rich and have the same issues instead of being poor and still have issues anyway. If you offer me NO issues at all and be poor then yes I would prefer that but us poor people have issues too.

To put it bluntly, money can buy everything in today's society, it sounds harsh but I think it's true. I totally agree with what you said, I don't believe that someone living in poverty will have happiness or good health. In today's love, a man without money and power will never be able to compete with a man with money and power. If a poor person spends most of his day working, how can it be said that he is in good health?
Meanwhile, people with money use the money to hire others to work for them, and they spend time taking care of their health and spending time with loved ones...there are too many things money can buy.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 19, 2023, 12:06:26 PM
Barcelona and Real Madrid have El Clasico ahead. This match will be very competitive indeed. Because on the one hand, Real Madrid is in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, so their performance is high, while Barcelona is one of the best performers in La Liga. Hopefully we will see an incredibly competitive match.
I saw that Real Madrid is still winning in the Champions League, in my opinion they are giving up a little in La Liga to concentrate on the Champions League which certainly gives more satisfaction at an international level.
I don't know who will win that match, it will be fun I hope.

The Barcelona versus Real Madrid match is not going to bear that much essence. Barcelona is ahead in terms of points a lot compared to Real Madrid. Of course, it is going to have the classic rivalry of EL Classico. But that fun is not going to be there. Does anyone else miss the era of Messi Neymar Suarez versus Ronaldo Benzema bale? Smiley The classic bone-breaking defense of Sergio Ramos? I miss the old days.

You are not alone who was expecting South Africa to win this match even after conceding 335 runs from team like West Indies there were many others also having same expectations from them and until 30 overs inning there was chance for them to win this match, but suddenly we have mini collapse from the South African side and then fail to recover from this collapse even Temba done good job until end and scored his career best with complete his 1000 runs as well but his batting and all effort gone into vain with this defeat Akeal Hosein and Alzarri Joseph play a vital role for the win of their team.

Shai Hope is currently the best player for the West Indies in White ball format as he has done good job with 128 runs without any support from other side where we have all gone quickly now on 21st March we will have last ODI at Potchefstroom.

South Africa was going to win if they had wickets in hand. South Africa did very well to keep on track with the run rate. But they could not keep wickets in hand. West Indies did well to actually pick up wickets. South Africa needed 48 from 50 balls. That was very much achievable if they did not get all out. And if we say West Indies did not perform well as a team we would be wrong. Of course, the batting side of the West Indies has performed really well. But without the bowling west indies was not going to be able to win.
1176  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 18, 2023, 08:14:45 AM

To make myself clear, this thread is not about complaint or confusion. Actually, I am more than fulfilled to chase my financial goals. This question only comes when I stop to think about the deep meaning of finance-free. Whether you are young or old, man or woman, money is what keeps you live and live well in the world. Being financial independent and sufficient is everyone's dream. However, have you thought about the losses in exchange for the material gains ? When you barely make ends meet, you'll bust yourself to make more money; when you actually make a lot of money, you'll find yourself in a position that is either stressful or boring. I wonder the purpose of making money can be easily distorted and sometimes we tend to lose ourselves in pursuit of money, instead of happiness. Just a fleeting thought, no big deal.

Financial freedom is a great thing to achieve, especially in an early age. However, a day would come that you will realize that it is not just about the money anymore, it's about the little things that makes you happy. It could be your family, friends, pets, or even your hobbies. For me, you don't need to have a lot of money to be happy, you just need enough or more than enough, not a lot, just to survive and put food in the table while giving a healthy and happy life for your love ones, especially to yourself.

Inner peace is important, because you can't have it when you're too busy building an empire all by yourself while in the shadows, there are too many enemies that won't let you sleep peacefully at night.

1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Infinite supply altcoins on: March 18, 2023, 07:59:41 AM
Assessing a good project or not includes many factors, not just supply. Don't jump to the conclusion that an infinite supply is not good or unattractive, don't forget that ETH is also designed to have an infinite supply. So far, ETH is still the top altcoin, and not a single coin can replace it even though it has changed the mechanism and is burning a lot of ETH every day.
I don't know about the project you are referring to, you need to do careful research when making an investment decision, and supply is not the only factor in evaluating a coin.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 18, 2023, 07:50:01 AM
Maybe for now yes second or next into Bitcoin. But there are other altcoins that are ready to replace ETH in its rank now in my opinion.

Others have probably noticed this too, Some of those lined up in my line-up that can usurp ETH's position are Bnb, Solana at others.

I agree with you, because now there are many altcoin that have the same project as ETH and the one that has a great chance to replace ETH in the future is BNB (becoming the king of altcoin), because for now many investors and projects are starting to invest and use blockchain from BNB, so that's what makes me sure if one day BNB has a great opportunity to replace ETH.
BNB is a coin which has gained a lot of support over the years and yet it is still far away from taking the spot of ethereum as the most popular altcoin, and while the change from POW to POS has made ethereum a centralized altcoin, BNB is even worse in the sense that it is backed by an exchange, and even if their position as the most powerful exchange around the world seems to be unshakable, we must not forget people thought the same about Mt Gox and look at how it ended.

Exactly. BNB is still far away from ETH in most aspects and personally I don't think the day of BNB overtaking ETH will come soon. It's like the comparison between New Money and Old Money. Those most wealthy families in the world have intricate relationships with all powerful men/governments that last for many decades or centuries. A businessman, by whatever means, earns billions of dollars within a few years can never live up to that status of Old Money. It's never as simple as a number game. To be honest, I like CZ and Binance very much but do they have a chance of becoming the king of altcoins ? I don't see that coming any time soon.

Although it must be admitted that BNB is also a good altcoin and outperforms other altcoins, it is extremely difficult to surpass ETH. Similar to what we are talking about ETH overtaking BTC, it is still possible, but it is an impossible task and will take a lot of time to accomplish.
During the previous bull season, ETH delivered a higher ROI than BTC, and I am confident that in the upcoming bull season, ETH will continue to offer higher returns than BTC for investors.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 17, 2023, 10:03:04 PM
Newcastle have added James Maddison into their transfer targets list also as it seems. This would be a really wise move for Newcastle truthfully.
Maddison is a very versatile player now despite mainly being an attacking midfielder. He would be an important addition to their squad. His statistics in this season has been really impressive at the same time despite Leicester's having a poor season. He has scored 9 goals and made 5 assists. He wouldn't like to stay at a team that are under the threat of relegating I assume. If they relegate from the Premier League then he would definitely leave. He is a skilled player and he is just wasting his time there. But I don't know if Newcastle would be the only team in line to sign him either.

The best thing about James Madison is that he generally also contributes to the team with goals as well. So in desperate moments, the team can expect some goals from him. Of course, he is a great player who can play as an attacking midfielder. But except for that, he can also play as a midfielder and sometimes can also give some backup on the sides as well. And he's also going to be actually good for the team. Because they need some reinforcement in the midfield.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One reason why bitcoin keeps preeminent? on: March 16, 2023, 12:55:37 PM
We all know that there are thousands of cryptocurrencies across the world such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Etherium, Dogecoin etc. Among all of these bitcoin is always remains on top. I think one of the reason behind this is limited supply of bitcoin. Most of the cryptocurrencies have limited supply, bitcoin is one of them. Bitcoin is always on high demand but has a limited supply. When the demand raises, resulting higher prize. What will be the another reason, in your opinion.

The scarce supply is not bitcoin's preeminent, there are also many altcoins that have a finite supply. Supply is limited and if demand increases, prices will increase.
I think what sets bitcoin apart from the rest of cryptocurrencies is its decentralization. So far, there is no 2nd project that is completely decentralized like bitcoin, with no moderator, no company, and the operation of bitcoin is given to the community. Bitcoin's security is also a big plus, all altcoins have been hacked or had outages once or twice, but bitcoin has never had such a problem.
