2121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right time to invest on: July 22, 2022, 08:48:36 PM
Anytime is the right time if you really want to invest in bitcoin. but first you need to know what the benefits and risks will be.
Currently the market is still unstable, bearish pressure is still strong, you can do some analysis before entering, it is very mandatory to do. Every decision is up to you, because you use your own money for investment, remember investing certainly takes time to get a profit.
Exactly, the only problem now is that the market is quite very unstable with lots of fluctuations in the price of the asset but at the same time if careful analysis is done, this could be the right time to make an investment because you’d be buying Bitcoin for a lesser amount and when the bullish season comes, you would be in massive profit and can then decide to sell if you so wish. For making decent profits, investing at right time is most important but identifying the perfect bottom point is too difficult for all of us which is the reason we should go for DCA. With DCA, you never need to bother about right time for investing.
It had never been able to become stable, it might able to move on sideways but doesnt mean that it is really that stabilizing and this is where the time it is really hard to make out some decisions where

you would really be that confused whether you would be buying or selling or simply finding for some entry for you to get in with cheaper price. The right time to invest is something that all of people
had shared out on the same problem because the market is unpredictable and there's no way that someone could able to tell on what would happen in the future.

Right time to invest will always be a question for any trader or investor and this is where we do make out our own decisions basing with our skills and knowledge.
2122  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 22, 2022, 07:22:50 PM
I think that all crypto casinos will gradually switch to identity verification.  All casinos that work with fiat money already work this way.  If you are asked to submit a photo for KYC, draw a watermark on your image.  This will help protect your data from fraudsters.

It’s impossible to put watermark on your KYC photo because KYC company wont accept it unless it clear and visible. I don’t understand too why having a watermark will make you protect your data while the picture of your ID is attached to the personal info that you submit to the casino which means all your info is already exposed once casino kyc system got breached.

I agree that casino will have no choice but to follow the regulations even with strict implementation of KYC if they want to make there business alive. Casino has a gambling license which means they are tied by the law.
Watermarks wont really change a thing nor really able to avoid on what you do have in mind and its mentioned that once its given then you wont really be having any choice since those info and image
is exposed and we know that watermark wont really do a thing thats why if you dont really like  KYC then its just wise for you to skip particular gambling sites who do ask about it and its true that
these platforms are regulated which means that they would really be following governments orders and wont tend to go against it.

Just been said that there are lots of options to take since not all platforms in the market today are asking for verification which means that there's still some option left and isnt really much a problem
or issue nowadays but sooner or later then it would really be having that way.
2123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Age of bitcoiners on: July 21, 2022, 11:38:18 PM
Agree with what you say because sometimes young people are more open-minded, even though it's not like that now.
But maybe in the area I live in, most people who are new to Crypto and who have been in the Crypto world are relatively young on average.
As for maybe people who are already old can only be counted on the fingers because sometimes it is quite difficult to direct people who are more mature to something new.
Some old age hags arent really that open minded on things which are new or been developed on this year or future where they do tend to believe and stick into those old traditional ways where they do only

care but not all old people would be like that since there are ones who do welcome such changes and being that open minded on such new things around thats why its really situational because not all people do have the same mindset and beliefs on particular things in life. Some do stick into those old things and some do welcome new ones.

Age doesnt really matter as long you are able to make yourself learn into this one and pretty much aware on how it works then it would surely count
and wont really be that an issue whether you are 5 years old or 90 years of age.  Cheesy
Well, in this case indeed we also cannot forget old age because indeed not a few of them are also still very active and still like Crypto and their views are clearly very broad.
One example might be Jet Cash which now can be said that he is a senior who is quite experienced in this matter (in my opinion).
He may be one of the members who are not young anymore because he is 80 years old now if you look at his post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5405027.0

Regardless of age, it doesn't make someone narrow-minded, but it's very rare to see parents here and it's an honor for me to know there are old people who are still active and contributing to Crypto.
We know that this is a decentralized and anonymous market or place on where you cant really able to determine on whose old and whose young unless if it was been said or mentioned by someone about
their age or something in related to that but its true that it is really that amazing that some members of this forum which had that old age but still that active and have big contributions in the community.
I wasnt aware of Jetcash age and thanks for mentioning it out which does proves out that people on this forum arent only in mid 30s or 50s but rather having those 80 and above.
Just like i said that age wont really matter as long you do know on how to deal up with crypto despite of the age you do have then i dont see anything wrong. There's no such restriction
or prohibitions.
2124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 21, 2022, 10:25:28 PM
~
These coins might be popular but I still prefer well-established altcoins over them.

What is your definition for a well established altcoin? Working product that gaining profit right? What exactly is difference between this gambling tokens that has already a utility on there working product casino to other established altcoins?
It's quite simple. Well established altcoins are usually measured by their marketcap/popularity and their longevity. It can be compared to a product that has established its own brand over the years and survived multiple challenges. Compared to most top 10 coins/tokens, these casino tokens are still too small in terms of trade volume or just too young in terms of longevity.

BFG - launched 2020
OWL - launched 2021
However, these tokens have a specific purpose.  They are used in specific casinos.  And very many altcoins, by and large, it is not at all clear why they are needed?  Well, of course, if you do not take into account the obvious desire of the devs who organized them to get rich at the first possible pump.  Turning them into bitcoin ethereum.  Yes, how many of these coins have we all already observed and how they turn into a scam together.

Compared to BFG, such altcoins are generally simply useless and can only be played in the development of new wallets and exchanges.  Nobody needs them anymore.
If we do try to look on overall utility of these gambling-based tokens then i dont really see for it to be needed but rather just an another money-grab by the team. Why the heck they would be creating it out for what? Functionality or usage on the site itself? We do have bitcoin and other top ranking coins listed or option so it is really just understandable that it wont really be getting much attention
for people on making use or buying those coins for the benefit on using it into its dedicated platform. As long it wont really be seen on other places then dont expect for such improvement
or popularity to risen up.Their prices is almost into the floor comparing into its previous ATH and i dont see the point nor being worth for people to make out some investment
with these gambling based tokens/coins.
2125  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 21, 2022, 09:27:23 PM
Bitcoin price can't be stable even it's already 10-50 years later since it's decentralized and no one limiting the trading activity on an exchanges. If Bitcoin price will become stable like stable coin, I would sell my coins before it's happen since it's not a Bitcoin anymore. Make Bitcoin as a stable coin is obviously the protocol are different, it's a Bitcoin fork to be honest.

I don't think if Bitcoin price already hit $500,000 , $1,000,000 or higher, we would see the price will be stable.
Its decentralized and there's no such thing about monopolizing into its overall supply and we know on how it well circulated into the entire community even though partitions might not really be on equal which isnt surprising because billionaire/institutions/organizations would really be always have the edge on acquiring more compared into those average joes.
Stability of price cant really be possible because its been common traded and the price is always moving every second thats why its cant really be possible for it to be stabilized.
If ever it does happen or possible then we wont able to see bitcoins popularity on what we are seeing today which it wont really be the same.
People love to play moving prices because this is where we do make out profits neither in short term or long term.
2126  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: July 21, 2022, 08:19:59 PM
If you want to find out easily, try to check the feedback or reviews of players who have played there. We can see that in this forum thread or on sites that provide gambling site recommendation services. Also, feedback from outside the forum like google and their social media.
Players' feedback is the best mechanism to use to discover the best sportsbooks, most especially the reviews from the members of this forum since the chances of manipulation do not exist. But if you rely on the reviews from reviewing sites one can easily get misled by their corrupt review score as many of them engaged in fake review scores because they're being bribed.
That's correct player feedback and review plays a very important role in selection.
If the business is good - then people talk about it and recommend it to other.

Then how these things could be done when we are dealing with newly launched casinos? For sure it would really be still lacking some feedbacks thats why some people do really test it out despite of the absence of those information and real experience about it and thanks to them yet they are opening and trying out to verify if it is really worth it or simply do really sucks and much better to stick
to old and known ones rather on this new ones.

This is why whenever i do see something new then i do always wait up for the right time for me to see feedbacks or when i do get bored and a bit in a rush then im the ones
will really be making out deposit and find it for myself whether its a good one or not but we know that first impression could neither be proven out or not.
2127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A little profit for $17k+ buyers on: July 21, 2022, 07:38:00 PM
Now the price of bitcoin has reached $ 24k and those who buy at $ 17k can get a profit of more than 40%, of course this is a large profit, I bought the cheapest bitcoin at the price of $ 20560 and has received a profit of more than 15%, unfortunately I only bought with a small amount of only $ 1200.
Did you bother checking the candle formed after the price reached $24k and did you also pay attention to how the bears pushed back price down after the price hovered around $24k for a while. This is the fake or bull trap i was referring to. I knew a fake breakout will definitely occur making investor believe the Bulls have taken charge then boom price will start dropping again
Not really bears but it is really normal that there's really some pushing back of price because whenever the market do make out some percentage pumps or increase in price then you could really see
some sell off into those points specially on shorters which it would really be normal for prices to be pushed back and thats not a surprising or shocking thing to happen on this market and also
people shouldnt presume that this might be the start of bull run or trend change.Yes, it could be possible but always mind off about those probabilities of pullbacks.

A little profit it might be but we know that profit is a profit and this is what people do always mind off and its not really that right to have behavior or rushing up things.
2128  Economy / Gambling / Re: Olimp.com - Lifetime 5% Crypto Deposit Bonus - Betting and Casino on: July 20, 2022, 11:40:41 PM
What other things are associated with the 5% Welcome Bonus? go also a wager? how much is? If I make a deposit, let's say 100usd, I would have 5usd more, but I would have to make a wager of how much? and is it removable from what? If I want to only deposit and not activate the bonus, is it also possible to make no wager? since I don't have good experience doing those requirements.

They say that there is no additional wagering requirement for the bonus but there is a standard wagering requirement for your deposit which is 50% or your deposit.
It means that even if you do not take the bonus, you have to wager half amount of your deposit in order to withdraw.
Anyway how can you say to make no wager while you want to deposit? What's the purpose of making deposit if you dont want to wager?
50% of the deposited amount for you need to wager? I could say that this isnt that bad considering that majority of casinos do require 100% rollover or wager of your deposit before you could able to

withdraw it which means that this site do offer 50% less the it might really be interesting for some people and its true that its mind boggling on why people tend to make out deposit but doesnt tend
to make out some wager? They shouldnt have done any deposit in the first place if they arent really making wager. Cheesy
2129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Age of bitcoiners on: July 20, 2022, 10:27:41 PM
I don't have any statistical data report but based on my assumption usually ages 18 to 35 are people who have open-minded when it comes to crypto.
Based on this article, half of the young men in the US it seems showing more interest on cryptocurrencies like trading and investing which is calculated almost half of the population, it's 43%.

Maybe old people might didn't have an interest in technology or even using computers.
And most of us now in our age are more fluent on gadgets, so I think that's the reason.
Agree with what you say because sometimes young people are more open-minded, even though it's not like that now.

2130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 20, 2022, 09:33:42 PM

I think Roobet is more leaning to follow authorities rules with implementing KYC than getting more profit from Non-KYC lover.  They don't want any headaches in the future so they rather implement it early on and besides those who trust Roobet will have no problem with KYC implementation.  They maybe missing out on those kind of gambler(non-kyc lover) but it is better to be safe from any future problems.

Roobet was one of the earliest big crypto casinos to implement KYC and after that a lot of casinos have followed their way. It is a bit of a pity as the whole goal of crypto casinos was to gamble anonymous compared to fiat bookies while full KYC is always required.
Maybe we can’t totally skip the regulations and that’s why most of the gambling site today slowly implementing the KYC, though it kills the purpose of being anonymous but we have no other choice but to follow or else you’re still with the site that didn’t require any KYC. Time will come, we will see of other countries will continue to regulate cryptocurrency, if this things happen most probably KYC sill become a major problem of many gamblers.
We know that gambling platforms which most of them are regulated which does simply means that they are abiding government rules which it would really be understandable that they are really following on

whats been mandated or been asked out and if they do tend to oppose then they do know on what would happen into their business.Whether they do like it or not they dont really have any choice but to
deal with it because its of the sake of the business. It might affect player numbers but as long they could still get revenue then they would really be doing it.

The good thing on this market is that you could really see lots of options which you could choose from if you do see the other one who doesnt have any verification.
2131  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 20, 2022, 08:21:08 PM
In this age of technology, everything seems so easy.  Likewise with capital, in the past people were very difficult to get a loan for one reason or another now to get a loan of money is so easy.

However, the rise of online loans has resulted in many complaints from many users, high interest rates and very short payment times, as a result, many people have difficulty even being able to pay them. Most online loans go beyond loan sharks, sucking in deep.

cases like this went viral in my country a few years ago until the government intervened and eradicated all illegal lending activities.  I have to agree with you, don't ever try to borrow money online even if the company is legal, they will suck someone down to their roots.
But in the end of the day, you are still the ones who needs to be blamed because you wont really be ending up on having a loan if you havent borrowed in the first place.Innovation and changes cant really

be stopped as this era becomes even more easy access on things which cant really be seen before and now it is made possible. You could really expect that interest rates out of these offered loans
are high which is understandable and if you are considering on taking a loan then its impossible that you wont see these interest which neither you would be taking it or not.

Avoid if you cant able to pay up those loans but why would need loan in the first place? If you dont need that then its no sense on getting one.
2132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 20, 2022, 07:59:22 PM
Casino tokens are only relevant for as long as the sites that they are linked to existing. What do you think happens to them if the sites suddenly disappear one day?

I think it's worth investing in them as long as the sites that they are linked to are popular and reputed sites that are trustworthy. However, I don't advise investing big amounts into any of these tokens no matter how legit they are op.

The reputation of the casino site that they represent will reflect on their reputation as a coin so I guess coins linked to good casino sites have a good future but I think they aren't good for long-term investment especially if we seek assurance of maximizing our gains. These coins might be popular but I still prefer well-established altcoins over them.
Wont be an assurance because even a site is having a good reputation and do well on the market in terms of gambling industry but still its token wont really be totally getting the same success on what you do see on the platform because people do still end up on using those common coins in the market and would mostly ignore their gambling token and investing with it.Majority of players wont really be bothering themselves about investment or supporting on the site that they've been playing via through investment in most cases but well there are people who do mind about on the other part or side
which is on that investment part.

Gambling tokens/coins arent that bad of an option as an investment but not really that always where these people do make out such decision and its evident basing on these tokens prices
as of this moment.
2133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: July 19, 2022, 11:33:59 PM
I personally feel gambling is entirely different from trading and can't be used interchangeably as gambling is pure luck while in trading you have to look at whole market and make strategies to move further and make profits. In gambling you place bet and rest depends on outcome while in trading you choose the coin and money you want to invest on and you can make profits out of them.So this is my approach but it could be different from others.
I cannot really bring myself to agree with you on your idea of gambling being different from trading. When it comes to gambling, you are placing a bet and the rest depends on the outcome of the bet you have placed, and in trading you choose the coin or asset that you want to invest on and you can make profits out of them depending on what’s the outcome, and in both of them you hardly know what would be this outcome right?

So, I kind of have a little disagreement with you on this, because both gambling and trading have some similarities, they both involve giving off an asset in risk of expecting something in return of a desired amount.
They have similarities and they have also  some noticeable or significant differences when it comes to risk involved and on how to deal off with these things. You cant really just tell that its really just the same in most part but it would really be just on common sense on telling the different.

The fact that trading could end up on becoming gambling if you dont really know on what you are doing which is typical or normal but if you are putting some efforts on making some analysis
and knowledge been applied to it then it would be an another story.

If you are finding for leisure then gambling would fit out but if you do go for some investment and earning opportunity then trading would be the best choice.
Both are different in most aspect but only similar to different level of risk involved.
2134  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: July 19, 2022, 10:42:44 PM
As stated many times, 1xbit has suffered from people deliberately trying to abuse their system. In this way, gamblers can cheat and take money illegally. Then there is no more gambling. I've said it before, but now I'll say it again; it would be helpful if you could post the betting history here so that people can better judge whether you have violated the terms and conditions or not. That now seems to be the main reason they closed your account.
Are you trying to say 1xbit is the only gambling platform where some people try to “deliberately abuse”?

Look at the scam accusations against 1xbit. Week in, week out, we get new victims. Why don't we see that many accusations with platforms like Duelbits, Roobet, Sportsbet, cloudbet or Bitcasino?
I tell you why… because 1xbit is a scam!
What words you do expect on someone who do advertise 1xbit? They wont be totally going against with it or else they would really be removed from the campaign. Cheesy

You could really expect those words will be somewhat sitting on middle to positive side of thing because if they would really oppose then we do know on what would happen next
and that would be a huge loss off weekly income from their negative accounts.

1xbit had been known to be a scam and people should make out some search first before trying out to deposit on the platform. We do have lots of options
currently for someone to deal with.
2135  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the possibility Bitcoin will rise before the end of the year ? on: July 19, 2022, 09:27:26 PM
Last year I predicted Bitcoin will rise above the value at the start of the year and I was totally right about it, in April Bitcoin eventually reached a new all-time high price of $64k. Bitcoin added about 72% of its value as it  increased drastically before it eventually started falling back in May till September. I don’t really know how this year is going to turn out now because of the present dip. But I just hope it increases, that’s why I’ve been advising so many people  to hold their Bitcoins and even buy more now cause it will surely rise again.
No one could ever know on what would be the future looks like specially if we do talk about price increase and dumps into this market but we know that this had been the very basic principle yet this had been
always unpredictable since from the start.

For sure no one even anticipate nor expect that bitcoins price would be going back to visit sub 20k price which we know that we've been having a hard time on breaking this 20k ATH back in the past
and now we are playing around these corners.

Speaking about recovery and potential then there's no really doubt on that but of course not all people would really be that confident on making out actions and positioning themselves on a bear market
until when recovery comes then this is where regret do commonly heard of.
2136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 19, 2022, 08:26:28 PM
Well, I've been at Roobet for a long time, and I can attest that the security in this casino is very good, if they ask me for one more level of KYC, I have no problem giving it, I think that with a closed eye I would give it, just like Roobet would too. for Stake.com, for bitcasino.io,. SB, among other sites, I say this because they are very reliable casinos with an impeccable reputation and it is worth recognizing when a site is really good.
Yes it all depends on our comfort level and if we are not then we should avoid it as Stake doesn't have any KYC option and players prefer there but the security at Roobet is fine but it's just that I am not comfortable with sharing too much documents with anyone and play in limits only.
I have once said before I believe last month that KYC shouldn't be a problem for gamblers if the casino is trustworthy and they still doing its best to keep the record intact which I believe is a sign of the casino's devotion to its users but I guess some people will still make a big deal while they can easily do it on centralized exchange whereas most of them lack good security and devotion this day.
It is true, If it is a trusted gambling site then kyc is not a big problem there. But if KYC is done on a scam gambling site.  Those documents may be sold on the black market. So customers must kyc carefully.  And before doing KYC know about that site as well. I believe Roobet is a trusted  casino site so i haven’t any excuse for done kyc here
Roobet had been here on this market for a couple of years already and we've known on how they had made out their name established into this market which means that when it comes to trust then i dont

really have any doubts with Roobet which i could say that informations are on the good hands but we shouldnt really remove into our minds about the probabilities of hacking incident or
simply some internal transactions which havent been known.
This is why no matter how reputable the site is then i do always have those kind of doubts which cant really be avoided in some point.
2137  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 18, 2022, 09:29:00 PM
In general, it is not recommendable to adquire debt unless it is necessary.
I have seen some of those apps, specially I have seen Xiaomi's credit app called "Mi Credit", according what I have read it is popular in India (one's of Xiaomi's most important markets).

I am not familiarized with the interest of these apps and whether they are predatory or not, as a rule of thumb, credit is supposed to be a tool for emergency expenses but unfortunately I am aware that there are people in both developed and developing countries that put themselves in a position of increasing debt risking their credit scored and personal finances.
Getting loan or having debt is situational whether those funds being used on a good way or just simply trying up yourself to be that able to buy something that you do like thats why you do took some

loan but just like been said that it is really just for emergency purposes or something that you do treat up as a last resort if there nowhere you can run but if you do still have funds which you could
make use of various situations then it would be ideal if you do have done it that way.

Loan apps, i was aware of these things even into our local online wallet provider did really have that kind of offering but of course the interest is on the rooftop which makes even more worse.
2138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 18, 2022, 08:20:34 PM
I don`t think that this is a good idea to invest in casino tokens. It is possible that they pumps sometimes, but i doesn`t depends on the casino most of the times. And casino have to invent some system like as frozen tokens to make investors don`t sell it.
Such tokens may be interesting if casino develops their own blockchain and use their tokens as a commission for example, but it is heavy expenses for the casino that they don`t need.

I don't really agree and everybody needs to do their own calculations to see if it is interesting or not. If you look at Betfury for example, they got a maximum cap in place and do monthly burning programs also.
When it comes to investment then it would always fall on someones perception and preference when it comes on projects or coins which they do really believe and see that it would really be having that

potential or something worth for them to dive in and hold it or invest on it for long term purposes. Some might really be just ignoring but there were people who are able to see and take up some risk
depending on what he do saw.We might be having some impressions that these kind or type of coins werent really that good but we cant really assure of that.

Its up to you whether you would be investing or not and speaking with Betfury token if they are making those monthly burns and demand do retain then
expect on what would be the outcome.
2139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: July 17, 2022, 09:41:52 PM
Trading and gambling have the same area of concentration because they both required money to start. They both shared the same risks and need decisive options in other to earn Profits. As for trading, one needs to pass through the normal process, which is to study and Know the different types of charts and how the entire Crypto market operates rather than just mere sitting down and guessing. Gambling involves only mere guess and luck, although some long time gamblers have their won experience and tactics they use in gambling.
Well in short, --if you don't have knowledge in trading it will turn out to be gambling because you are more on guessing rather than having analysis for your possible position. The same on investing in meme coins which you don't know whenit will pump and you know the characteristics they have no real use and the price was based on the community. So if you invested it, you gamble your money, and the chances of winning are quite low and it is a high risk.
On things that you dont have any idea on what you are doing and specially dealing off with money or real funds then it is really actually be considered to be gambling even you do make yourself get engaged in trading.

Imagine on things that you have been doing but doesnt really have the idea on what it is or even knowing or doing the basics then you would just simply thrown out some decisions without basis and knowing trading
which does really need that analysis so that you could really able to make a good position and ending up profitable but if not then expect for these outcomes to happen.

If you do like for you to have better chance on having profitable trades then you should do analysis and do make out some research which you do hone up your skills with the
experience you do get along the way.

I have no idea why so many gamblers feel they achieved something big by hitting huge multipliers even though they won small amounts. Makes sense in gaming(Achievement hunting), but doesn't really make a lot of sense in gambling.

They are just purely numbers at the end of the day people. Anyway, to each their own as they say.
Feeling of achievement or accomplishment. It might sound dumb right but its their own liking and preference even though those are just numbers but something that hits specially on a 300k multiplier isnt something that

you could see everyday and if someone do really chooses up to hunt for those multipliers then its none of our business even most people be saying that winnings of that hit isnt really worth for the money that had been
spent.
Imagine on hitting something 0.0003 % is soo damn still possible which i wont really be that questionable on OP's feeling about achieving on something.
Well done for that kind of patience @OP.  Wink
