I think Roobet is more leaning to follow authorities rules with implementing KYC than getting more profit from Non-KYC lover. They don't want any headaches in the future so they rather implement it early on and besides those who trust Roobet will have no problem with KYC implementation. They maybe missing out on those kind of gambler(non-kyc lover) but it is better to be safe from any future problems.
Roobet was one of the earliest big crypto casinos to implement KYC and after that a lot of casinos have followed their way. It is a bit of a pity as the whole goal of crypto casinos was to gamble anonymous compared to fiat bookies while full KYC is always required. Maybe we can’t totally skip the regulations and that’s why most of the gambling site today slowly implementing the KYC, though it kills the purpose of being anonymous but we have no other choice but to follow or else you’re still with the site that didn’t require any KYC. Time will come, we will see of other countries will continue to regulate cryptocurrency, if this things happen most probably KYC sill become a major problem of many gamblers. If there’s another regulations requiring Roobet to intensify the KYC requirement, most probably they will implement it again without announcing ahead of time so the gambler will have no choice but to comply. If KYC is still your problem and you don’t really want to fill up that form then Roobet is not for you. Some site is still KYC though we can’t know how long they can stay on that requirements. Just gamble with small money if you don’t want KYC, this can prevent you from losing big money if the site decide to freeze your account because of KYC requirements.

Which one have a purpose to being anonymous? Roobet never wrote anything that their casino is an anonymous and never collect any KYC from their users, Satoshi a creator of Bitcoin, never wrote Bitcoin is an anonymous, but it's pseudonymous. If you talk about Monero and other privacy coins, you're collect since their purpose are being anonymous currency. But most of casinos didn't accept it due to anonymous and harder to trace the transactions, origin etc.

If people care about the KYC this much, then I do not think that it should be stopped at all. I mean it is still about something that Roobet does and that is why its going to be something people will talk to them about it. I personally would have prefered it wasn't asked as well. I mean I even had times when I stopped playing when I first heard about it, and thats why I didn't do anything about it at all, but then I came back and started playing again. This is the topic for Roobet and that is why if there is a problem about this place then you could write it here. Sure it has been a while already, but that is the biggest problem they have, so that means people will talk about it of course.

The government is putting pressure on Casinos to implement KYC because the government thought that most money launderers are using crypto Casinos to clear the coin's history. So Casinos in complying with government regulations had to put KYC as a basic requirement, but most crypto Casinos are just requiring 1st level KYC verification where we just need to submit basic identification. And it so happen that Roobet wanted to comply since possibly it has more target audience than just non-KYC casino lovers.

We know that gambling platforms which most of them are regulated which does simply means that they are abiding government rules which it would really be understandable that they are really following on about this licensing issue. well I keep wondering: if the license was only issued by one country Z, it was supposed that only people from that country Z were required to do KYC. so why do other countries need to do KYC when casinos are not licensed in every country in the world? by what authority could any country that has not issued a license to a casino Y charge that casino Y are things I don't understand I think Roobet is more leaning to follow authorities rules with implementing KYC than getting more profit from Non-KYC lover. KYC also has many disadvantages, imagine if a casino that asks for KYC is hacked and loses all people's important data? the guys invaded the casino will be selling your important documents all over the internet and believe me there will be many people without sleep because of concern of seeing their documents being sold on the internet

There are countries that are blocked by Casinos due to the reason that gambling is illegal in that country or government prohibits online gambling unless licensed by their own country. If a Casino does not filter them and just let them play, there would be some legal consequences due to this stuff that might give problems to the Casino. It should be easy for the Casino to implement IP restrictions but due to VPN, people from the restricted country are able to play, thus, the need for KYC. Aside from that KYC is one form of Casino protection from unwanted activities, and lastly, KYC is to verify a player's age if they are suspecting (which seldom happens)that the player is a minor.

So should I resubmit my Level 1 verification, or should I do Level 2 now?
Honestly if there's no limitation or restriction on your account, there's no need to resubmit your level 1 KYC or complete the level 2 KYC lol. Good. Thanks for your reply, mate! There's no restrictions on my account, I can play all well. ~ Idk, it looks simple, and normally I don't like playing such slots, but it's the music on the background is what makes it so addictive to me. It's one of my favorite, but my luck isn't that good in this game.Boom City and The Rave are currently my favorites games, Roobet team aren't bad to choose a potential/less known games in their top selections. Because most of slots addicts are only playing on Sweet bonanza, The Gate of Olympus and DeadWood. Luck is volatile, it's like Bitcoin, you know. One day it makes us feel sad, and the other day it makes us happy. Today Blockchain Megaways on Roobet made me happy because I won that ^^ from the 3rd spin.

Yes having prolonged discussion about this KYC topic will bring nothing good now as we have to comply with the T&C of the company if we want to play over there and if we are not comfortable with it we have more options to choose like casino without KYC and players at Roobet have adjusted with this and they didn't loose much players so it's fine here also.

So all in all, roobet is limiting themselves on people who are fine with it and also like their website all at the same time. This is still allowing them to make a good chunk of money as we have seen, just not as much as they possibly could.

All casinos that work with fiat money already work this way. If you are asked to submit a photo for KYC, draw a watermark on your image. This will help protect your data from fraudsters.

But to avoid such risk the most effective way is to stay on big casinos because for sure they will not take any bad action to compromise their users. So I guess do only the KYC on trusted platform and never provide on any random casino which didn't show some good performance upon running their operation.

Most casino give you a url link to access your camera and take a selfie so it's really not possible for someone to edit their picture first, apply a watermark then submit it. We should also be wary of what information we provide on those trusted platforms. If they ask too much info then we should think twice if it's really safe to comply. For me, a valid ID, complete name and address are already enough to complete the KYC requirement.

Some will still require you for a selfie, to confirm if you provided the same identity especially on your valid ID. With Roobet, as far as I know its only a level 1 KYC, i just fill up the basic requirements and then everything works perfectly already. Again, if you are against this kind of security, your only option is to look for alternative since Roobet already implement this, and for sure they will stick with this.

It’s not, and it’s not going to an option we go back to, that’s why I do not think that it will matter at all. Just realize that this is gone and it’s not coming back again. What I am really hoping for right now is the one that would be difficult to get it started, if you are agreed to do the first level, then you are fine and you could start it, rest is not important at all. So all people here, needs to go over one hurdle, rest is quite easy.

It’s impossible to put watermark on your KYC photo because KYC company wont accept it unless it clear and visible. I don’t understand too why having a watermark will make you protect your data while the picture of your ID is attached to the personal info that you submit to the casino which means all your info is already exposed once casino kyc system got breached. I agree that casino will have no choice but to follow the regulations even with strict implementation of KYC if they want to make there business alive. Casino has a gambling license which means they are tied by the law.

Maybe he implied about leak of personal photo not personal information in texts. I agree with you that when you submit your document for KYC, you lose it. You lose it in photo, in texts and you can not delete them on system of the casino. I agree that casino will have no choice but to follow the regulations even with strict implementation of KYC if they want to make there business alive. Casinos will be like exchanges, they have to obey and bind to local and regional regulations. If they don't, their platforms will be in troubles, suspended, closed. They won't want it but to be fair for users, they will announce it that if you want KYC, stay here. If you don't want KYC, you can leave but there is limited time to leave. I think posters in this topic are over doing their discussions about KYC on Roobet. Could we stop it please.

Watermarks wont really change a thing nor really able to avoid on what you do have in mind and its mentioned that once its given then you wont really be having any choice since those info and image is exposed and we know that watermark wont really do a thing thats why if you dont really like KYC then its just wise for you to skip particular gambling sites who do ask about it and its true that these platforms are regulated which means that they would really be following governments orders and wont tend to go against it. Just been said that there are lots of options to take since not all platforms in the market today are asking for verification which means that there's still some option left and isnt really much a problem or issue nowadays but sooner or later then it would really be having that way.

I have once said before I believe last month that KYC shouldn't be a problem for gamblers if the casino is trustworthy and they still doing its best to keep the record intact which I believe is a sign of the casino's devotion to its users but I guess some people will still make a big deal while they can easily do it on centralized exchange whereas most of them lack good security and devotion this day.
KYC or not, like it or not, accept it or not, you decide. Roobet does not decide it for you. Honestly, this is what I always tell people and I am happy to see someone that understands that the KYC thing is something that's beyond the casino's power and once the casino Master license holder introduces a rule and regulation the casino must comply. If you like the casino and believe in their reputation, love their games, trust their payout systems, security and privacy protection for users, you would not have much issue with KYC.
Yes, I will always choose to gamble on a casino that guarantees their game is fair and my winning will payout than going after no KYC casino that will scam their user.

This is what I don't get to people, they are afraid to do KYC but they almost expose their whole life on social media. As long as the casino is reputable and you don't have criminal records that could alert the authorities then it should not be a problem complying on their rules. Criminals can't just use your identity if you limit what you post on the internet. Casino's usually just ask for your complete name, address, and a valid id to prove it. I don't think that is enough for someone to use your identity for their bad intentions.
