I've seen amounts of thousands of dollars per month for just spamming Facebook, Twitter and this forum. But I'm pretty sure those "golden days" for ICO spammers are over now.

When I joined the Byteball and Stellar Lumens airdrops, they paid quite decent amounts of exchange traded altcoins based on your Bitcoin holdings. I missed out on the much bigger airdrops before those, I've seen one that would have been worth $300k after holding for a few years.
The current Token spammers are hoping to relive those golden days, and although the majority turns to dust, it is still possible for a few to shoot up in value.

May I make an out-of-the-box suggestion? I've suggested before that plagiarists can get an out-of-jail-card if they report a few higher ranking members for plagiarism. This gives plagiarists the chance to redeem themselves: they contribute to the forum, and lower the total amount of plagiarism. Within official forum rules this doesn't work, but if all involved parties agree, it can work here.

My proposal @The Pharmacist and @Rambotnic would be:
1. Rambotnic reports at least 2 users for plagiarism. To prevent abuse, the users need to have a higher account rating than Rambotnic (253 Activity or higher; Member or higher).
2. Once confirmed (and banned), The Pharmacist removes the red trust on Rambotnic.

Maybe, maybe not. But as long as you can't know it for sure, you'll have to assume the accounts aren't being sold.
I've just checked 118 accounts with 18 Merit (last Friday), none of them are an exact match. I've tried to find a match with different account sellers before, but never got one. Some even use combinations of Posts and Activity that aren't possible, so most likely the data is made up.

Anybody can create an anonymous sales thread for any account. It doesn't prove anything.
It's quite likely the seller is trying to scam someone with an account he doesn't own.

Merit distribution is back to the long term "bottom", after a sharp peak 8 weeks ago (largely because of abuse) when the new Jr. Member restrictions were implemented.
There was however a large Merit source removed in the past weeks.

OgNasty got one deleted post in modlog:
I've checked my own files scraped from recent: two of OgNasty's posts in 13 Dead at mass shooting in California Bar are gone. One of them was moved (the thread we're reading now), so I assume the other one is what this is all about. From my records (raw HTML, unedited as it was first posted, unfortunately I remove all quotes to safe space so I don't know if there was a quote):
Based on the post number, it would have been between bones261's post and suchmoon's post.

I checked 2 posts before and 2 posts after OgNasty's deleted post: those posts haven't been removed.

You're not being scammed. First of all, the website says this:
It's your own responsibility to keep track of your session token.

That being said: all similar cases have been resolved by ChipMixer, and I expect them to resolve this case too.
Unfortunately, ChipMixer support isn't very fast. Since it's been 4 days, I recommend to send them another email.

I reported one yesterday, and it's gone now. Just keep reporting them (and other users too) when posts break forum policy.

Just report those posts, enter comment: "2 year bump", and Mods take care of it.

I posted there too, I didn't realize it's an old thread. It doesn't help of course that Betking closed it's official thread.
But this thread is self-moderated, so either report those bumps, or OP can remove posts on his own.
