Actually, what you are talking about is completely impossible, due to the mere nature of bitcoin. Unlike a real money, bitcoin only exists through a chain of verification that are made, in very tiny parts, by many individuals. So faking bitcoins or doubling what you have is impossible just because there are too many sources of “security check”.  |

Don't be one of the dummies buying.
That's an advice true for 99% of coins anyway. Most coins, and especially the ones with ICO or shit like that are just advanced ponzi schemes. They have nothing new, nothing invented and especially no usage value as NO ONE is using them as a currency. Most coins are used ONLY on trading plateform and that's all. They're exchanged for btc in a desperate attempt to raise the number of btc you're owning. But nothing is created here and you shouldn't invest without being self aware that it's just a gamble. |

Bitcoin atms aren't developed at all in Europe.
In USA you get many atms in every city big enough but in Europe every country has only a few atms, at paris there are only 3 and they're the only one in the whole country.
And by the way I wouldn't recommend using those machines. They take a HUGE fee for every transaction, you can find better deals on websites like localbitcoins. or even simply trade your btc for $ the withdraw them on your account. ATMs aren't great at all.

Main problem would be that faucets in themselves can't even be created now. Faucets are made to give out very small amounts to people for visiting, the idea is that ads pay you slightly more than what you give to visitors. But with current transaction fees paying visitors would be extremely expensive!!! Even if you found a way to attract people efficiently and convinced them to do it for a very small price. Most faucets that manage to continue running are made to never send the money in the account in fact. They mainly have an internal casino and a high minimum payout. So people are likely to gamble in the casino to reach payout requirements and thus lose most of what they could earn that way  |

My point is there will never be a supply shortage of fiat or bitcoin (as its infinitely divisible) so why do people state the 21 million hard cap is of any benefit.
It's an important benefit: On classic currency supply is infinite. Which means that government and people might try to raise the total amount of the currency while not creating the wealth corresponding. So the currency loses parts of what's it's worth. On bitcoin, currency is 21 million and that's all. That means that if total wealth raises, value of each bitcoin raises too. BUT and that's why it's so incredibly great, each bitcoin can be divided indifinitely so there is no way we lack of coins at one point contrary to cash if there was a limited amount. See how it's all in all a freaking win win situation? ^^ |
