Leave everything aside, That's what i see when I look at this chart.

Now I want to sell half of my shit so bad but I probably won't.

That's some good TA.

I trade with such TA in mind.

I'm like "what is the  next move to make the graph beautiful?".
Until now it has worked pretty well.
And where in this "good" TA is the buy support? If you have 100K BTC support at certain price do you think your TA would work? This confirms my obseravations that the reason we are here are the n00b traders who only look at the charts and compare 2014 and 2018. The price may fall if there is no support and go up if there are enough buyers. It is as simple as that.

So you're a double idiot congrats  Grin

First idiot title is for not recognizing 2nd degree and how I'm quite self conscious of not being able to make any TA...
Second idiot title is for blaming the market to be full of noobs... If that's the case you should just be happy cause noob traders means traders you, as a professionnal, can take advantage of right?

So don't blame the market for acting in the way you don't want it to act.
1342  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: December 06, 2018, 10:05:02 AM
Merit system is a perfect system which is used to reward only the most sophisticated and honour-worthy, long and informative posts.
To be given 5 merits is a great privilege.
To be given 10 merits is an honour which marks the rest of your life.
To be given 50, you're a transcendent being (or Satoshi Nakamoto) and your posts cause ecstasy to the readers!

A perfect example of a god-like post with 50 merits: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2375142.msg24228465#msg24228465
Ahahahahah xD

Well here it IS rather obvious ineed.

I mean there is no "top merited posts" section or whatever but in my opinion the use for merit is to put the focus on important messages that might have been missed while they're providing interesting and sensible informations. And I got the feeling people use it more like a "like" button.

There is.

Scary that you as a legendary aren't aware of it.
Maybe you didn't search?

Scary as the fact that I'm a legendary just means I'm an old member of the forum not that I'm an omniscient being  Roll Eyes

Dice is the only way to go if you have BTC.

Dice is the crypto game.
The only game you can play with crypto only.
Anything else is just copy paste of fiat games... Not worth it!

Dice is fast, thrilling, low margin, so fucking low margin. Nothing can beats that. There is not a single game with the house edge as low as dice  Cool

1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Make money with martingale applied to dice game ? on: December 06, 2018, 09:58:03 AM
Hello, I know martingale  is useless for long term for dice game  but   if you have a big bank and can support  1 serie of 20 loose, you will always win no ,?
The world record  for the roulette is one serie of  26 red , it will never happen again, the odd are just very low
So if we   do martingale  with a bank that can support  20-25 loose, we will definitly make money

You will definitively make money until you collapse against a 26 loose serie. Then you lose everything.

And you have to understand something:
2^25 is 33 millions dollars.

Are you ready to play roulette or dice with 33 millions on your account by making a martingale bot?

At the very best you'll earn what? 3 or 4k$ on an hour?
You're ready to risk 33 millions dollars to earn maybe 3k in an hour? While knowing if you're really unlucky you'll lose your 33 millions?

i'm not.
1346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lordmancer II - an MMORPG where you can earn crypto on: December 05, 2018, 04:16:58 PM
Excuse me but why is that in the gambling section?  Huh

Shouldn't it be just in the services section?
Gambling isn't the core activity of the game is it?
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 05, 2018, 04:15:27 PM
Anyone here would be interested by tips on NBA produced by deep learning analysis of the last 25000 matches?

Was thinking about opening a service with a monthly fee (about 10 mBTC) guaranteed, which means that if at the end of the month the picks weren't profitable, I repay everyone their registration fee.

So that no one feels like getting ripped by a false vip registration like it happens.
1348  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can this be called Merit abuse and Account farming? on: December 05, 2018, 03:52:16 PM
If lybship53 has been banned there is a good chance lyka is simply an alt that should be banned too...
I would agree with that only if you could really prove those two accounts are alts.  They might actually be husband and wife caught up in a pathological relationship whereby both of them are spamming on bitcointalk, abusing the merit system, and plagiarizing.  If they wound up robbing liquor stores sometime in the future, it wouldn't surprise me.

The Jonezhols and kalunomics accounts don't seem to be abusing anything, but who knows.  There's just not enough evidence to tag them even if Theymos didn't state that he doesn't want minor merit infractions punished via the trust system.

You sir, quite made my day xD

I suppose you're right though and I didn't manage to find evidences. They seem to use different facebook account, different twitter accounts and different adresses...

Though I'm all ready to get advices on how to lurk and detect alts. The only way I try to do so is by looking at all the posts made by someone page after page to find crypto addresses then I search for them using the forum search tool.

Is that the most efficient way to do so? Seeing how some members manage to find tons of alts I can't help but wonder if there isn't a more efficient way to check this?
1349  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ TRUE FLIP 🐬 DICE, SLOTS, LOTTERY! ★★★ FIRST BITCOINTALK LOTTERY IS ON! ★★★ on: December 05, 2018, 03:25:13 PM
I just registered on True Flip and played Magic Dice in demo mode for some time, and I must say that although the house edge is very big for a dice game, it's a really fun game to play, and for those playing for entertaining purposes it's definitely worth a shot. I've noticed a minor mistake in the otherwise great animation, and I'm going to report it because maybe it's not that hard to fix. When the hot octopus chick is bending over to pick up her glasses which supposedly slipped to the floor, the glasses are still on her face:

Who the hell looks at her glasses in such situation?  Grin

But yeah 10% house edge for a dice game is... Wahou
It's just 10 times the normal amount taken by the whole internet!

You're really high on the fees here...
1350  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can this be called Merit abuse and Account farming? on: December 05, 2018, 02:44:02 PM
Both of them:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=245492
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221481

Are most certainely either buying and selling merit or simply altcounts.

The excuse for the wife is ridiculous. It's still an abuse of the merit system. If lybship53 has been banned there is a good chance lyka is simply an alt that should be banned too...

But I'm a bit more skeptical on:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1199685

Why do you call him/her a possible Merit seller? Only one merit sent from what I see
1351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 05, 2018, 02:39:13 PM
Sold my M4 convertible to a friend of mine a few weeks ago.. It is an amazing car.. No way I would buy a Tesla Smiley

Teslas will have zero long term resale value.

Tesla Owner: "My car is only 5 years old and the battery went bad! What do you mean that you no longer have a replacement OEM battery that fits my year model??? "
What about stocking up on batteries? Not sure what they cost, but if that's the only issue then those things could last longer than traditional cars. Not sure about the economics of this though.

What about stocking up batteries to resell them afterwards?  Huh

If we already know batteries won't last that can be a good deal...
1352  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: December 05, 2018, 02:18:37 PM
At least I'm glad to see sMerits are being put in good use by the few people who send them !  Cool
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=3

It's been only 8 years since his/her/their last activity!
,

People paying respect to Satoshi is not wasting of merit. Keep in mind that theymos can generate infinite amount of smerit.

It's... A bit strange though...

Am I the only one using merit a bit like a curation system?
I mean there is no "top merited posts" section or whatever but in my opinion the use for merit is to put the focus on important messages that might have been missed while they're providing interesting and sensible informations. And I got the feeling people use it more like a "like" button.
1353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC/USD update 12/3/2018 on: December 05, 2018, 02:13:51 PM
BTC can't seem to catch a break. Some NASDAQ media personnel basically confirmed the NASDAQ bitcoin futures in Q1-Q2 of 2019 and BTC went down anyways.

Honestly it doesn't look good. The bounce was very weak and most likely the $3500 will break and we will head into the $3250 or $3000 area sometime this month.

There doesn't seem to be anything bullish on the charts right now.

3k$ this month?

That seems a bit too much for me.

I'm a bit disapointed by the poor rebound I have to admit, my long was closed with near 0 profit... But still I don't think it'll go so low so fast. Don't forget that historically the Q1 have always been very poor timeframes for BTC so if you think anything bottom-like will happen it will probably be around this time rather than by December.
1354  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Affiliate Programs on: December 05, 2018, 02:10:17 PM
Considering their reputation, don't you want to get rid of betcoin.ag on your list?

I know you're not exactly promoting them or whatever of course
But still picking the names of well-known scammers can never be see as a good faith sign from you Smiley
1355  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ TRUE FLIP: DICE, SLOTS, LOTTERY! HUGE PRIZES! BONUSES! WEEKLY GIVEAWAYS! ★★★ on: December 05, 2018, 02:07:40 PM
extremally big fee (10%)
Tell us please what 10% fee are you talking about?
sorry, of course house edge
Our house edge differs from game to game. Our latest games have 4-5% house edge.

Ouch

Does this include your dice game?
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really good source for betting! on: December 05, 2018, 02:04:04 PM
If you want any chance to do this you'll need a statistically significant proof.

Which means you must first profide the picks on about 1000 to 1500 matches.

Anything before is just guessing...
1357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC/USD update 12/3/2018 on: December 03, 2018, 02:35:10 PM
Oppened my first long in two months.

We'll see the 4500$ very soon then go back to 3500$.

BTC is just not capable of going a straight line, it never happened and will never happen. So you got to use the rebounds to accumulate more BTC!

1359  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Is cryptomining.farm legit or a scam? on: December 03, 2018, 02:22:44 PM
hi guys i want to invest at the said link and i don't know if it is a scam or not? Please help thanks  Smiley

Any "cloud mining" site that does not have proof of mining is a definite scam. They guarantee profits. Many scammers make this claim to attract investors. Also, what cloud mining company has 15 year contracts? They will be gone long before then. Do not invest your money here, even if you do get paid out, this is a ponzi and will come crashing down eventually. It's not worth it.

In fact any cloud mining site is a scam right now...

I don't think there is one single cloud mining website actually paying out in this market.
