When all major country recognized Bitcoin and their national banks accept bitcoin, then it will be money. (Russia,China,India,USA,Germany,United Kingdom,Switzerland,)
It will never happen.
a) it doesn't have to be bitcoin (that's why I asked you which other crypto currency will not die); b) it doesn't have to be recognized and accepted by national banks to circulate among people and perform all functions of money. All is required is faith by people that it is money and that if a person accepts it, they can easily trade it for something of value (adoption by merchants is taking place). And that is good enough for that to become money, as it performs money functions.

you cannot do that, for dollars but for other money you can do it. (rubles, yuan, chf, ......)
In theory you can, but in practise it won't happen, because this would prevent central banks from inflating the money supply (no matter which country), which they need to inflate to cover the costs of running the country and stimulate economic growth, that's in their own words. We won't discuss now how exactly they succeed to stimulate economic growth, suffice it to say that they need to inflate the money supply, which they can't do if they peg the currency to something of finite quantity. And they won't do it. Hence, there is no backing, except faith and law.

this is not true, money must have backed in something
In the 19th century each dollar was pegged to a certain amount of silver or gold, same as many other currencies. You could go to a bank and redeem that amount of gold or silver for the bank note. That is what backing by something really is. Nowadays, you cannot do that, dollars, rubles, yuans are not pegged to anything, there is no backing. You can only purchase those goods, products and services at free market prices. You can do the same with cryptos, although it's still hard to find merchants who accept cryptos, but it's only because cryptos are a novel concept. The difference is, fiat currencies are legal tender in a certain jurisdiction, meaning all businesses have to accept them by law and you also pay taxes in them. But fiat currencies are not backed by those materials and goods you have listed above. 'fiat' means 'by decree' of the government.

|
Because crypto not money, its just fraut, and crypto not have real value, and not backed in gold, gas, oil, silver, and etc.......
Most moneys these days are backed just by faith and some useful features. Cryptos have useful features, don't you think? The more useful features - the larger the faith in that crypto.

More like almost 0.00009
Price might still correct to 0.00008000, before it resumes uptrend. Or not. One guy with a lot of bitcoins could think it's time to give NXT a try and eat thru all the sell walls. It's unpredictable.

Doge's and Litecoin's market caps will be on par in 2014. Meaning either Doge will appreciate that much, or Litecoin depreciate that much, but most likely market caps will meet each other half way.
At that point negotiations on merged mining can probably resume, which will really be to both coins' benefit, as two communities can unite to make one big strong community with combined hash rate.

0.00008 NXT/BTC levels again. We've been here so many times. Is it different this time? Looking at the development, I think yes.
price at @8000+ by monday Meaning, 8000 should be the floor from now on, as this doesn't look like a pump but steady buying from many people.

When we disable deposits/withdrawals its either because of an issue with our wallet or the blockchain. If its with the blockchain people are usually sell off. Thats just what happens
Lies. I have been waiting for my NXT withdrawal for 7 days now. Before I made this withdrawal request my other NXT withdrawal had been processed, so I have the account number of Cryptsy. And during these 7 days some small withdrawals went from that account number, so clearly there is no issues with the wallet or the blockchain, as you do process some of the withdrawals. Not mine though. I Pm'ed you with the ticket numbers. Tickets only receive canned answers, like 'your funds are safe, blablabla'. Safe as in Mt. Gox's coffers, eh? Is Cryptsy insolvent? I have strong suspicions this is the case. Insolvency is the inability of a debtor to pay their debt. In many sources, the definition also includes the phrase "or the state of having liabilities that exceed assets".

I am waiting for my withdrawal for 6+ days now, can anyone from Cryptsy actually check my ticket #138365 and process it? Thank you.

Is Myriad really a coin for everyone? I'm trying Qubit right now on a 8-core 16 GB RAM machine and I get 0.4 MYR per hour. That's a joke!
Mining doesn't guarantee profits. At least not if you sell immediately. That's valid in real life and in cryptos.

Arplex? WTF? Both boolberry and arplex sucks. Even my suggestions of ChimeraCoin or MirageCoin is better. Thank you very much, I stay with Monero. At least they got a nice name for the coin.

and really who mine doge now? exept multi pools? becasue of block halving and its right on next halving coin will be dead correct me if im wrong
Correct you in what? Summer will be slow for all cryptos. Strong hands that see value accumulate them at low prices. Weak hands and miners who need to cover costs sell. It's that easy.

devphp what are saying has merit. But i think expecting a transition from fiat to crypto brought about by a financial crash is a long shot. All we need is continued adoption by word of mouth and use of internet. Have you seen the chart of online bitcoin wallets, it is very steep growth! I dont think it is a big stretch to say user adoption will at least go up 5x in the next couple of years, this should launch the price up many multiples higher hopefully.
The number of bitcoin addresses in use and online wallets is not valid metrics, everyone is aware of that, as one person can use multiple addresses and wallets. The biggest reason why people will rush into cryptos is if they are scared for their money in the banks, I repeat that and stand my case. Bitcoin and other cryptos would be a safety haven in that case. Until that happens, expect a period of doldrums - the price may not fall a lot, but will not rise a lot either. But when people finally do get scared, the price will skyrocket.

You guys remember last year Bitcoin started growing in March when problems with the banks in Cyprus surfaced. This will repeat at some point in the future. Until then, not much growth in the crypto currencies, mostly the same money rushing from one coin to another, changing hands, some bitcoins exchanged for alts and back to bitcoin, not much new fiat.

Probably no more than 50,000 people are holding more than ten coins a piece and you can't see where the money can come from?
Exactly! Not many people care for crypto currencies. Why would they? I think they will start caring more when they feel it's not safe to keep their money in the banks. Probably will be too late to care by that time as they won't be able to withdraw their money.

Bitcoin is like the esperanto language! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EsperantoI think it will prosper some day! In the future it will not be affected by any other curency in the world it is just the payment of the future! You contradict yourself in this post. Does Esperanto really prosper? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Well, on the other hand, the number of languages in the world is going down, out of ~7000 world languages existing today, roughly 1 language dies every 10 days, that is, the last of its speakers dies and the language dies with him. Most of those dying languages are minor tribal languages. In about 100 years only 3500 languages will remain per estimates. That's globalization and centralization in languages. Will currencies go the same way? I do have my doubts.
