A VPN or Proxy Server can get you into all books not requiring a physical address.
2144  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks Serving UK? on: June 26, 2015, 01:25:04 PM
As long as you use a VPN or Proxy server, you should be able to play at all books not requiring your physical address for payouts.
2145  Economy / Gambling / Re: sites like cloudbet on: June 26, 2015, 03:37:30 AM
anyone have a preference for live betting?  I'm in the US and anonibet won't let me play there.

VPN and Proxy Servers work for sportsbooks that block US and UK IPs as long as accounts are anonymous.

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to let you know that unfortunately wagering is not available from Great Britain at this time. If this ever changes in the future, we'll definitely let you know.

Thanks so much for your understanding,

Nitrogen Sports

Nitrogen is anonymous and IP's from Great Britain are banned.

"It's funny that you mention that the cream is slowly rising to the top. I was going to post something about the top books separating themselves from the pack. Betcoin should be added to the top group."

Sbrzol posted that Betcoin voided his bet that had been accepted - and in addition never notified him that they'd done this.

He believes it's because the line had moved at some books and they hadn't moved to the new line yet.

This is a very serious charge. If true, it amounts to outright cheating by the book.

(Does Betcoin do the reverse and improve the odds of all accepted bets for the team on the other side of the line move?
We all know the answer to that question).

If true, this book should be downgraded to F.

sbrzol - "This behavior is common at jetwin but now it will be common at betcoinsports too."

I haven't seen any posts prior to this accusing jetwin of voiding accepted bets because the line had moved at some other books and they hadn't moved it.

If Jetwin is indeed doing this, they should also be downgraded to F.
However, someone needs to submit an actual case so it can be verified that they are doing this.
Again, I haven't seen anyone claim this prior to sbrzol's post.

sbrzol's bet was canceled a day before the event was to be played. Any time a book cancels a bet, they should definitely notify the player.

What was Betcoin's justification for cancelling the bet?

Quote
We must start this post by stating that we are very disappointed that we even had to take the time to research this.  The player abused the system on many occasions and even in his stated case was attempting to abuse the system and then posts this, yet continues to deposit and play with us.  It's very disappointing.

We had a chance to review your your post sbrzol aka Atizaki and we clearly see why you chose to leave out your BetcoinSports name as well as any identifying ticket numbers and this is because you have been warned several times regarding abuse of the system and wagering maximums.  In this instance, you have placed two bets on 23/06/15 on the game KIA Sorento - Meralco Bolts and then another two bets on 24/06/15 on the same game. One bet was cancelled on 23rd and another one on 24th. In both cases it has been clearly made out to you that due to the severe abuse of our Terms & Conditions your account has been limited to 250 mbtc bet amounts on lower tiered, less trafficed games. On that occassion you were allowed to bet on the same game again on the next day and the subsequent bet was cancelled and refunded. Also we have to mention that because of the two bet cancellations you actually saved over 100mbtc. Since you choose to write this in the forum, which we don't mind, we kindly ask you to confirm that this is your bet balance at betcoin.ag for the last six months:

Total Profit: mBTC 130,037.29 Total Stake: mBTC 103,433.80

The figures above show that you had won over 26BTC on betcoinsports.com which have been paid out to you, although as we later found out that these winnings were mainly from abusing our system by placing multiple bets on events that had already taken place and taking advantage of a flaw in our system that we had at that point when the sportsbook was first launched . You also forget to mention the countless emails we have sent to you for bets that we kept voiding due to you placing multiple bets on the same event trying to avoid the limits we have in place and by doing so violating our Terms & Conditions time and time again. We take abuse very seriously and we have taken appropriate measures to stop any further attempts from your side to continue profiting from your violations of the terms and conditions. We have been kind enough not to post any email correspondence we had as we believe issues such as this have to be dealt privately but we see your public act as a response to the limits we have imposed and to the cut in your attempt to take advantage of our website.  On top of all of this you still continue to deposit and play at Betcoin.

This is very disappointing that we even need to respond to this.  Fortunately the far majority of our players know the quality of the service we provide.

VitalBet gets a "D"

Blatant abuse of the rule "9.3 We do not accept any responsibility for typing, human or palpable errors, which lead to obvious price errors. In such cases all bets will be deemed void. In the event of any dispute regarding a Stake or Winnings, our decision will be final and binding."

Basically they are applying this rule not only to palps, but on any lines where they dont like the odds anymore.

Pretty hard to believe it took them 24 hours+ to notice a "palp error"
are they esports only?

Cool comparison, is it updated?

Yes, its' updated. Books and players both have been posting mistakes and omissions which are then corrected. If you have an opinion on a book or see a mistake, please post it here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.new#new

It's a comprehensive thread where we talk about all books.

If Betcoin cancels a bet due to a bad line, they will notify the player. The only bets that are voided is when players make multiple bets to circumvent limits.

If anyone has thoughts on Jetwin or Cloudbet, please post them.

I think that Jetwin should be raised to "B+". Cloudbet has these small hiccups which is why I'm hesitant to raise their grade at this time.

As posted above there is now a decent gap between the "A"s and "B"s compared to the "C"s on down.

I have had many dealings with Jetwin and Cloudbet, both in betting terms and customer service terms over the last couple of years and can truly say they've both been first class.
thanks

What payment processor is the best for handling sportsbooks deposits and withrawals fastest and most secure?

Are you talking about wallet used to make deposits and withdrawals to sportsbooks? I personally do all my transfers with a blockchain.info wallet. Most deposits are instant. Withdrawals are instant to a few minutes for the good books.

For security I use two factor authentication with my wallets. Some sportsbooks also have 2FA.

Having just spent over two years running www.bitcoinpunter.com before being forced to close down by the UK Gambling Commission I feel I have the authority to give an accurate opinion on who people should be betting with.
The cream are slowly rising to the top in the bitcoin sports betting industry and they are:

Direct Bet
Nitrogen Sports
Cloudbet
Anonibet
Jetwin

It's funny that you mention that the cream is slowly rising to the top. I was going to post something about the top books separating themselves from the pack. Betcoin should be added to the top group.

What are your thoughts on Jetwin and Cloudbet?

Something's wrong currently with bitcointalk's software - it's putting my new post above inside the quote instead of showing it as a new post.
same is happening to me.
