Cool comparison, is it updated?

Yes, its' updated. Books and players both have been posting mistakes and omissions which are then corrected. If you have an opinion on a book or see a mistake, please post it here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.new#new

It's a comprehensive thread where we talk about all books.

"It's funny that you mention that the cream is slowly rising to the top. I was going to post something about the top books separating themselves from the pack. Betcoin should be added to the top group."

Sbrzol posted that Betcoin voided his bet that had been accepted - and in addition never notified him that they'd done this.

He believes it's because the line had moved at some books and they hadn't moved to the new line yet.

This is a very serious charge. If true, it amounts to outright cheating by the book.

(Does Betcoin do the reverse and improve the odds of all accepted bets for the team on the other side of the line move?
We all know the answer to that question).

If true, this book should be downgraded to F.

sbrzol - "This behavior is common at jetwin but now it will be common at betcoinsports too."

I haven't seen any posts prior to this accusing jetwin of voiding accepted bets because the line had moved at some other books and they hadn't moved it.

If Jetwin is indeed doing this, they should also be downgraded to F.
However, someone needs to submit an actual case so it can be verified that they are doing this.
Again, I haven't seen anyone claim this prior to sbrzol's post.

sbrzol's bet was canceled a day before the event was to be played. Any time a book cancels a bet, they should definitely notify the player.

What was Betcoin's justification for cancelling the bet?

If Betcoin cancels a bet due to a bad line, they will notify the player. The only bets that are voided is when players make multiple bets to circumvent limits.

If anyone has thoughts on Jetwin or Cloudbet, please post them.

I think that Jetwin should be raised to "B+". Cloudbet has these small hiccups which is why I'm hesitant to raise their grade at this time.

As posted above there is now a decent gap between the "A"s and "B"s compared to the "C"s on down.

I have had many dealings with Jetwin and Cloudbet, both in betting terms and customer service terms over the last couple of years and can truly say they've both been first class.
thanks

What payment processor is the best for handling sportsbooks deposits and withrawals fastest and most secure?

Are you talking about wallet used to make deposits and withdrawals to sportsbooks? I personally do all my transfers with a blockchain.info wallet. Most deposits are instant. Withdrawals are instant to a few minutes for the good books.

For security I use two factor authentication with my wallets. Some sportsbooks also have 2FA.

Having just spent over two years running www.bitcoinpunter.com before being forced to close down by the UK Gambling Commission I feel I have the authority to give an accurate opinion on who people should be betting with.
The cream are slowly rising to the top in the bitcoin sports betting industry and they are:

Direct Bet
Nitrogen Sports
Cloudbet
Anonibet
Jetwin

It's funny that you mention that the cream is slowly rising to the top. I was going to post something about the top books separating themselves from the pack. Betcoin should be added to the top group.

What are your thoughts on Jetwin and Cloudbet?

Something's wrong currently with bitcointalk's software - it's putting my new post above inside the quote instead of showing it as a new post.
same is happening to me.

edit- except this time.

Peeps - Any reason for the rating you give them other than length of time they've existed?

I get the same feeling I got with betvip - that it's a vacant storefront (at least the sportsbook) which (almost) no one patronizes.

After a book has been in business for 2 years, longevity is no longer a sole reason for an upgrade. Betcoin is not a BetVIP or 2 man operation. They are a good book.

"Betcoin is not a BetVIP or 2 man operation."

Hopefully you are correct (despite them not responding to my post above nor my post in their own thread).

But let's remember that you had BetVIP graded "B", the same rating you've given Betcoinsports/Betcoin.
BetVIP was never a "B-" or above. Fortunately, no "A" or "B" rated book has ever gone under.

Please add bet-bitcoin.com to your list of non paying sports books.

Most likely operated by the same scammers who ran bitcoinsports.eu and btcbook.eu.

Well, I ignored a few warnings in their main thread, and now i'm waiting 3 days for a payout of around .5 BTC.

Seemed too good to be true - actual pinnacle odds with no account hassle, and direct payment back to BTC address. But then grading started taking hours. He seemed responsive via pm (but red flag that my post about not being paid was deleted from their self-moderated thread).

I kept getting stalled via pm "sorry automated grading is down" etc etc. Then finally was told i would be paid manually. Bets were finally graded win after 2 days, but no payment arrived.

It seems like a 1-person shop who coded up a simple site to copy odds and accept bets. At this point 3 days later being incompetent is indistinguishable from being a scam. I know making this post now decreases whatever chances I had of getting paid, but so be it. Be careful.

just want to know why ratings for anonibet+nitrogensport is 2 step above from directbet?? because from my experience that 3 site have same level with had plus minus in the same range, example that 3 site didnt have main source for live score but they using multi source for real live score...

DirectBet uses the "back" odds from Betfair adding more take out. There is a minimum amount needed at Betfair for DirectBet
to put up a line. Many times there aren't lines up on one side or both since lines are dependent upon lines at an exchange. The lines at DirectBet aren't competitive in American markets.

With deposit books when a bet is placed , the player gets notice if the bet is accepted or rejected in a short period of time. With DirectBet confirmation of accepting/rejecting a bet isn't made until the time the money leaves the players wallet until it reaches DirectBet's wallet.

Most of the time this is immediate but there is also the possibility of not knowing if a bet is accepted or rejected for an hour or more. While this hasn't happened for a while, a few months ago confirmations were delayed on a daily basis. Most of the time it was due to the site going up and down, but it can be from any delay in DirectBet receiving a bet after coins leaving the player's wallet.

DirectBet once had the advantage of being a non-deposit book but the advantage no longer exists with the speed in which deposits and withdrawals occur at other books. Some have instant deposit/withdrawals.

Books rated "B-" and higher are recommended books. DirectBet isn't capable of meeting the recommended status due to the system in which they use to confirm/reject bets. There should never be extended delays. One delay is one too many.

Will you contact Nitrogen and try to get them to offer the option of "Listed Pitchers" for MLB, like every other sportsbook on the planet?

It's just taking advantage of unsophisticated bettors the way they're doing it.

I've never even seen the option to bet MLB totals with "Action only" (i.e., regardless of pitcher). It is ALWAYS default "Listed Pitchers" only for totals.

But not at Nitro.

The book that is in most ways the top bitcoin sportsbook should be better than this.

gogo- I talked with Nitrogen about "listed" pitchers. A huge majority of their players want all wagers to be "action". Nitrogen is always open to change so it wouldn't surprise me if this was changed down the line. Believe me, I know that they take your opinion seriously.
