One other thing, when these anonymous bitcoin books offer big bonuses, players are going to come out of the woodwork to multi-account taking advantage of the bonuses.

Books that don't have KYC rules will want KYC information. This is going to lead to many disputes and innocent players caught up in the shuffle losing money. Anyone who has been here a couple of years has seen this many times. It's a risk/reward situation.

For the Super Bowl, sweat the game, not the payout.
1484  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of SPORTSBOOKS. Please post any payout delays. Input wanted from all. on: January 28, 2017, 02:27:06 PM
Some books purposely take positions wanting one sided action. We can't be penalized guessing on book's motives if they have the best line.

History : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1710755.msg17651351#msg17651351

Briefly : powerbet voided one of its user's bets (only winner ones) saying arbitrage betting,  (but they have no such rules, so they have no right to do so )

Powerbet deleted almost all my posts  from their topic, here are them again :

I tried to say that you have the same odds provider as 1xbet/1xbit (but your userinterface/ layout is different)

Please feel free to prove (link their rules/tos here) that exists any traditional or not traditional (btc) bookmaker who are againts arbitrage in their rules

As I remeber there was only one bookmaker (betway) who tried to apply such rules but they had to remove it .

I made at least 30.000 arbitrage betting in the last 7 years  using at least 100 bookmakers .

None of them dared to void any of my bets saying arbitrage.

You cant prove you cant say that the bet placed on your site is one side of an arbirage betting  , you can only suppose it, but it means nothing

You could only prove it if you are the owner of the other bookmaker where the other side of the arbirage betting was placed.

So here are  some questions:

If i place a bet :
Match:   ABC- XYZ
Handicap: ABC  -5  @  2    but later i change my mind and place another bet but the other side after the line moved
XYZ +7   @ 2.1

What are you going to do?
Void both , void only the winner one, void the 1st one or the 2nd one , void them only if both winners ?

i give you a hint:  you have to settle both bets according to the results

And what about middles or revers middles?
ABC -5 @ 1.9    XYZ  +7  @ 1.95     is it an arbitrage betting in your terms ?

If i start to place bets with random stakes what will you do?
( So if here is somebody who wants to fuck up with this book , only place some random stakes 13.53, 15.75 and later can come here and make complaints )

Where is the limit ?     Should i use stakes with the last digit only 0 ?  or can  use the number 14 , will you void it?   (before voiding please check my balance because perhaps  i have only 14, lol)

So please do not lie that only pinnacle not against arbitrage betting, because the earlier discussed situtation is an  everyday situtation , that a bettor change his mind (for example an NBA player injury) and
place another bet on the same market but the other side

i suggest spbettor to register to  http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/sportsbooks-industry/  and share your issue there too
and here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.2380

I will register to your site in the next few weeks and will place only arbitrage bets.
Try to detect it and try to void it.  We will see whose reputation will suffer it.

I have been scammed many times by btc books.   (Bitcoinlivebets, betcoin.tm , betvip)
None of them in business now.

I tried and used almost all btc bookmakers.

You did nothing well, those are only words ,means nothing.   betvip said such huge words but i proved that they had only 15 bets daily.
bitcoinlivebets said that they had 1000 users and incresing but they had less than 100 users .

Another posts briefly:

2, Powerbet voided only the winner bets.

3,

https://powerbet.io/pages/terms
As i see  there is nothing about arbitrage betting in your tos

Which is mega lol because until now i thought you have such rules

So you have no right to void any bets saying arbitrage betting

Jetwin also using such words " for recreational players" but as I remeber they voided my bets because they were very slow to update their lines and they voided them before the match started not afterwards and not only the winner ones, so mega unfair from powerbet

For me is very recreational  to get out a lot of money from the sportsbet industry  via arbitrage betting, it is free money , very  recreational  , it is so refreshing for me Wink

Please define what means recreational for you powerbet , i am not an expert in such not common words meaning

I'm preaching to the choir here. Books can ban, they can limit, but they should never confiscate winnings.

I like these guys from the little interaction that I've had with them. That said, it will be tough for some of these new books to stay in business with their low holds, bonuses and confiscation rules.

Almost every book has the "recreational player only" clause. That just means they can boot or limit. If the rules say they can confiscate winnings, and they hold true to this, then they'll never be rated high here.

Some books don't allow you to come back on the other side of a bet to in-house scalp two way betting. I can agree with the book on this if it's in their rules.
1486  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of SPORTSBOOKS. Please post any payout delays. Input wanted from all. on: January 27, 2017, 08:33:26 PM
Directbet - 3.3
Cloudbet - 3.6
Sportsbet - 3.6
betcoin.ag - 3.3
Nitrogen - 3.9
1xbit - 2.8

I've seen so many people giving a book a 5 rating but that means they are the perfect sportsbook, which isn't the case. Every single btc book has massive room for improvement. Those of you that cling to Directbet because they are the most secure site should consider that mathematically with the odds they offer the house will always win in the long run so why even bother - if ever there was a case of gamblers-fallacy it is that one. Their website needs a massive overhaul, the functionality is archaic. Cloudbet and Sportsbet seem to gravitate in the same sphere for me. Very similar products, odds and set-up. They have decent live and pre-match with reasonable value of odds on offer. If i was really recreational bettor those would be my go to places. Betcoin seem to have good days and bad days and its hard to know whats going on with a company that has multiple brands in the marketplace from ultraplay. I think its always best to stick to proper b2c brand. Nitrogen, for me, is the book i would always bet on pre-match events all day long. It seems they pretty much just plug in Pinnacle with extra-juice. Anyone worth their salt knows that Pinnacle is possibly the most reliable book for payouts and margin in the world so with that engine and system behind it then its basically like playing at Pinnacle with an extra ˘ or two added to the lines. 1xbit website for mobile is remarkable, it is a beautiful website, without a shadow of a doubt and then you have to deal with 1xbet. Just google them and your fingers will be burned from just touching the keys. Even by Russian bookies standards these guys are bottom of the barrel.

I just want to mention Powerbet, its too early to rate them as I have yet to make a bet there but their ridiculous prices being offered on things like a 2-3% margin in live games is ridiculous. Those margins are impossible to actually trade for soccer as a sportsbook and make a decent vig in return. So either they are literally giving away cash or this is just a marketing ploy to draw the square punters in (who have a losing profile anyway) and they will void informed and lucky bettors, let alone sharp bettors. As they always say you don't get something in this life for nothing.

Perfect sportsbook: Security of Directbet, good live markets like cloudbet and sportsbet, esports like betcoin, pre-match and (true) overound of nitrogen combined with a website/UI/UX as hot as 1xbit then sir you have yourself a 5!

Good post. Thanks for your input.

Hi,

Could you pay my winning bet https://directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=12PsKPYqWPEWAKLHwQT2ftTNe7EwTL4dnc

I have been waiting 11 hours now?

bet status just updated to voided!? I give you permission to show the full details of any evidence/justification you have for doing this on the forum so that i can show that i did not do what you're accusing me of.

Posted this in the directbet thread. Was completely ignored by the directbet rep account which posted afterwards. This is becuase they know i have done nothing wrong so they have nothing to show. They have not paid out my winnings of over 1 BTC and seem to intend to keep it as well as my initial bet, Avoid.

Wow that's sad! Now I know what to avoid. Anyway, I would recommend you to open a scam accusation as the scam accusation can really deter people from betting there. Voice out your concern! Don't just post here, you won't get any action here. Just remember to get your evidences ready! I hope you get that money from you bet!

bitbitnom - I'm sorry to hear about this. Do I have your permission to contact DirectBet on your behalf.

Blockbet, StakeBTC, Bitcoinlivebets and Coinbet gave away nice bonuses right before going under.

1. More than 50% of the bitcoin books go under or become deposit only.
2. A majority of the time when a book goes under, it's within the first year.
3. World Cup and Super Bowl are popular times for books to run.
4. If bonuses and lines are too good to be true in the first year, run, don't walk away from the book.

Sweat the game, not the payout.

Here is the real top of sportsbooks, based on their odds and margin:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1737548.0

Powerbet is best casino at the moment, with instant-automatically processed withdrawals (others sportsbooks claim that they have instant withdrawals, but they process them manually), excellent odds and very good bonus. A real bonus, not a cashback like directbet.

Unfortunately this forum section is full of shills for the olds sportsbooks and their advices contradict reality and facts.

The site that you have linked is great. It's important to see the odds.

One thing that has to be remembered is that many books have gone under in the first year.  The list below shows books that have stolen our money.

It may happen after Super Bowl. Play with established books right now. There's no need to take a chance until we see who pays after the Super Bowl.

Lately I tried 1xbit and my overall satisfaction is positive. I like to play for specific bets, which they offer and other sportsbooks don't, so I tried playing with them. Betting options is very good. Site is problematic sometimes and doesn't load very quickly, it's hard to make parlays. Some games are only restricted for one single/parlay bet. Deposits are super fast, withdrawals are on time (2-10 minutes) for less than 1 BTC. D+ is fair rate.
Thanks for the feedback.
1494  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you suggest me a good betting site? on: January 23, 2017, 11:58:39 PM
Would like to suggest Directbet as well at the moment. They support both live and prelive bets and at the same time they also payout immediately after the bet which is good as they will never hold any of your btc for the duration after the bet.

It's best to stick with the "A" and "B" rated books at this time. The Super Bowl is a dangerous time to leave funds in questionable books.

I see that DB is rated D in your book, but since they don't hold funds after the bet, it is probably the safest way to gamble without the worry of the site taking the funds.

DirectBet confiscated money from 4 different players. They not only confiscated winnings from a couple of players, but they confiscated the bet.

Money can be withdrawn from other books fairly fast. At one time DB had an advantage but that advantage no longer exists now that withdrawals are so fast at other books.

You might want to put Sportsbet.io in a D rated site to place bets on.
They freeze you from making withdraws when they just feel like it or when you have a substantial amount of bitcoins to withdraw.
You can read about it on my thread when i won more than 1 bitcoin in my account and had my withdrawal denied all the sudden when I just did 1 withdrawal previously of 60mbtc with in a time frame of 24 hours prior.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1738312.msg17590963#msg17590963

If that is unethical to do to a participant on a site that they place alot of bets on then I don't know what is.
They also are the same owners of bitcasino.io and several others under the same brand.
All from the same pile.
Thanks for the information. It will definitely be looked into.

Do I have permission to ask sportsbet.io about your account? Books require it before they talk to a 3rd party.
Go ahead. Cause I did everything that they asked for. Submitting my identification on their site to receive payment from what their support told me. I have that archived. But they base it on not knowing that there are several individuals who use the internet connection where I was staying at during that time period I was using their site. It was the freaking holidays for god's sake!
There are 25 people visiting and in the very same house hold. If half of them want to use the same internet connection on their devices then who am I to regulate who goes to which site on the connection?
That is their basis of not allowing me to withdraw within a 24 hour period of the last one that was successfully processed mind you only 60 mbtc and not the 429mbtc that I requested that was denied all the sudden because they saw the same connection come in just a week ago which was Christmas day for fucks sake. I have over 10 cousins and brothers that go on the internet and are wanting to use the same sites as the others use. They are sheep you know that want to go and do what the others are doing to "get into the action" so to speak.
It is wifi and it is secured so they do not have right to come up with excuses such as these that they have given me.
I have since asked them to close the account so I have nothing more to do with them.
If they argue with me on this or do anymore accusations on me with my internet activity using their site I will sue them because they asked me to send in my passport and proof of address which is illegal where I live! These companies do not have the right to give out any confidential information about their players and in closing my account none should be on their system and on their files about me.
You can ask them but all they can tell you is of what happened as I have just told to you right here.
Once closed it should be erased from them and their customer database. Which I highly doubt it either.

PM sent. They have been good in the past in getting back so we should hear from them soon.

Pure bitcoin books should only ask for KYC information in rare circumstances. One reason for using these books is to remain anonymous.

If a book sees 10 accounts from the same IP, they should say something immediately. Don't free roll the player by accepting losses and not paying winners.

So you have tackled the problem that unscrupulous sportsbook can vanish without a trace, with your outstanding rating system? Dare to explain how?

Do your homework: Betcoin.ag scam

A lot of rating's sites have Betcoin rated at the top or #1. Spotodds has Betcoin #1 and Nitrogen #2. http://www.spotodds.com/bookmakers-reviews/.

Nitrogen seems to be #1 and Betcoin #2 if taken as a conglomerate.
