I am new in this forum and I will try to explain my recent issue with powerbet.io
I made an account at powerbet.io almost 2 months ago and made a deposit of 0.57 BTC. Since then I played some bets (3 singles which I won and 1 parlay which I lost) and gather in total some 1.45 BTC. 10 days ago I received e-mail from them telling me that my account is flagged and asking me to submit required documents... Few days after I get this e-mail
"Hi,
We have found out that you're a professional basketball player, currently playing for KK-Vrsac-Swisslion. You also played for Metalac, OKK Beograd and other teams. According to our records, your betting activity is centered on Serbian basketball league, which is against our terms and conditions (you even bet on a game in which your team was playing). Our final resolution regarding your account will be communicated to you soon.

First thing to clarify: I WAS basketball player bu now in retirement for a year
my winning single bets were made on basketball matches in : Serbian league, Adriatic league, Serbian National Cup
Their statement "you even bet on a game in which your team was playing" was so wrong... I played for that team I placed bet on 3 years ago
After sending them links to official basketball sites where everybody can see I am no longer in any team roster, after sending them several e-mails and contacting them on this forum in order to resolve our misunderstanding I got one big nothing...
Honestly, I am not feeling like letting them take my money

This was from poster win008 in another thread. I began testing bitcoin gaming providers weeks ago and shortly after switched all of my action to these providers. Just tried to log into fairbet but it says I can not enter their site due to region restrictions.
Why is that when I can login into every other site I have tried?
They in the UK or something and only allows European/EU countries?
They ban players from the United States. Some of the anonymous bitcoin books ban players from US and/or UK but a VPN will let you in. |

Mine have been similar to easternbloc. Their limits are small. If you try to play steam (line move at other books), they won't allow you to bet that line even though it's displayed. It takes a long time for a new line to be put up. |

Looks like that guy messed up with their tos? Personally, I have more than 60 bets with Powerbet and NONE was cancelled. Also my withdrawals were always instant. So, I'm extremely satisfied to play there, that's the reason I recommended them and i was surprised by your rating.
It nice to see your personal experiences as well as that of others. That is needed here and thanks for posting your experiences. The ratings are stringent. The top books have been fairly clean since 2012-13. A lot of new books have gone under and many with the recipe being used by powerbet. Hopefully there won't be any problems at powerbet and they will be a great book for us to use. |

The rules that you have in place that have been invoked are for lower tiered books that should be avoided. Top books do not confiscate winnings. You can ban a player, limit a player, but never confiscate winnings. A book that cancels winners free rolls players. The book keeps the losers and voids the winners. This isn't acceptable. New to this but have been testing the top 3, NitrogenSports.eu, Betcoin.ag and Cloudbet.com for 1-2 weeks now and have not had a problem with a deposit or withdrawal or any customer service inquiry. I will probably split my play on all three for awhile, but I am sure I am not alone in the great experience I have had on each. This thread has been really helpful as well.

Upon trying to reach a resolution with him, he proceeded with an attempt to extort us and also admitted that he asked his friend to upload a fake ID during KYC for one of his duplicate accounts.
