Time's up. The decision to castle is unanimous. I hope we get more players soon.

Thank you for actively participating. Would you be willing to announce once the community reaches a consensus? That way I wont have to count votes (which I hope will come along with more players) or worry about any disagreements.
That's easy enough. I only have to count to one. If there are no other moves proposed in the next 24 hours, I guess we're going with 7. 0-0.

There isn't nearly enough food to sustain the current population without modern farming technology, and even if there were, there's no way to move that food to the hungry masses without modern transportation. If all technology were to vanish, probably 95% of the world population would be dead within a week.

I'm pretty sure usernames use ISO 8859-1 (Latin-1). That character set only includes lowercase mu due to that character's use as the standard abbreviation for "micro"; it has no other Greek characters. "ø" is a Latin character, regardless of what Cøbra seems to think.

I wouldn't care either but for the anti-Tor stuff. That's a big no for me.

I hashed (sha256 using the above site) a number between 1 and 10, this is the hash 6b86b273ff34fce19d6b804eff5a3f5747ada4eaa22f1d49c01e52ddb7875b4b which number was it?
The number was 1. You can't use a raw hash for anything that can be brute-forced. The correct way to do it is to encrypt the answer using a well-known symmetric cipher (such as AES) and a strong (random) key, and publish the encrypted answer and a hash of the encryption key (and when the answer is to be revealed, publish the key itself).

I never said it was going to happen that way, but if you move d3/4, he could move Bb4 (not sure how likely this would be in a pro match) and force you to exchange pieces (which I actually hate).
You're exchanging an undeveloped piece for a developed one. It's a good trade for White, but Black will never go for it.

I would, because Qa4+ wins it for nothing, though a player ranked amongst the best in the world would never make such a silly mistake.
EDIT: Not enough caffeine. The bishop can be saved, but it still puts Black in a bad position.

I would move a3, perhaps it has been a long while since last time I played chess (also, I never was a good player).
It shows. Why would you do that? g3 prepares to fianchetto kingside and castle, d4 takes charge of the centre and develops the queen's bishop, but what does a3 accomplish?

3. g3 and 3. d4 are the two proposals right now. I will wait for a consensus
Don't look at me. If I wanted an early d4, I would have done it on move 1. Unless bitbaby agrees to postpone his premature pawn push, we'll need a third vote.

I prefer 3. g3. Some of my supporters would not be happy if they knew how much time I was spending thinking about cryptocurrencies instead of chess.
Since Russia would be the least happy to know that, I would venture that you are a Russian GM. Though that doesn't really narrow it down much.

Naturally, 2. c4. He would be the winner for sure, expect if there is a very good chess player among us. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'm only a pretty good chess player, not a very good one. But don't worry, we've got the wisdom of the crowd on our side. Okay, maybe we should worry. Just fire up the latest chess game you've got and it's a done deal.
What!? Who would employ such an unrefined method of cheating? Is zwischenzug j'adoube not good enough for you?

There being no serious opening moves proposed, I suggest 1. Nf3.

No, you should stop using Bitcoin for microtransactions; it is not suitable for that purpose, nor was it ever designed or intended to be.

just use noscript and you will be fine
No, you won't. The PDF viewer script is internal to Firefox and is not blocked by NoScript. Please don't post dangerous false information for the sake of your signature campaign.

Have you tried Ctrl + F in searching someone on your ignore list?
That requires actually loading my ignore list in its entirety, which as I mentioned, takes forever and it's only getting worse. It's up to 1,310 users now.
