I think if sMerits will have an expiration date, people will be obliged or will become more active in giving merits to others instead of losing it, this will actually helps many members like me.
I would not like a hidden force to spend my sMerits. Unless I am not a merit source1 I am not obliged by anything that I HAVE TO spend my sMerits in a certain time frame. However it's a moral responsibility. if I see a post is merit worthy and if I have available sMerits then I will gladly spend it. 1Becoming a merit source is kind of public responsibility to perform the job, IMO. |

A simple way to filter out bogus accounts is to require KYC. If an account has been verified, they have greater posting abilities. If they haven't been verified, they are in read only. This seems like it would weed out bots and spammers!
I would be willing to do KYC to keep my account!

AFAIK there are no such automated script yet. I didn't understand is how can a member send 2 sMerits for different posts within period of 6 seconds. May be some day I will try LOL It should not be that hard if you know which posts you are going to merit. |

Just want the admin to know that this "security feature" is a real pain in the ass. It sometimes takes up to 5 minutes to finally pass.  If you are using tor browser then you face this, at least it happens with me when I use tor. The best thing you can do is, (if you are using a private computer) keep the logged in feature checked at the time of logging in. |
