Seems like the guy is trolling you, my experience is different. I spotted a user who keeps posting the same spammy contents and I keep reporting them, I am doing it since the first July. The posts get deleted and then again the person keeps posting the same thing. Today I wrote on the report comment section - "spamming the forum with same contents. Honestly speaking I am tired of reporting this user. Can he have a ban after checking my reporting history." LOL I am also interested to know that how long it takes to have them a ban? |

How did they pass cloudflare?
You might want to read these... 1. How do they bypass cloudfare?

Looking at this image and the quoted contents - I do not think cloudfare do much against bots. They only put some limits. May be these bots are designed having these limits in mind. I think posting bots are not deemed abusive by cloudflare, unless it's posting every second and posting every second won't be possible because of the forum's limit on posting so all cloudflare can do is protecting forum from DDoS and limiting user connected from blacklisted IP the possible way to fight against bots, dislikes by most users, is by adding captcha for posting but bots would also implement captcha decoder bots  I'm afraid there's no silver bullet in the fight against bots and spammers and this... As someone who works for a gambling site with a faucet, I can tell you that Cloudflare provides no protection against botnets whatsoever. The evil IP system and captcha won't help either as these guys have access to massive pools of IP addresses and captcha solvers.

Guys, this is still work in progress and I am learning. I will have sets for everyday. Today I will have new set before I hit my bed. I realize this first set from yesterday were all (10/12) about merit after reading suchmoon, Parodium. After reading LoyceV, I see that I failed massively on my first day of school I will be focusing on variations when I pick the posts from now on. First few days may be I will mess up a little but I am a quick learner and I believe I will improve very soon. @Don Pedro Dinero: You realize I am not ready yet? I will need to practice this stuffs before I apply and I am taking this as an apprenticeship (seriously) I've always been against what I call the soup kitchen threads, and I make a point of not looking at any of the suggested posts. I prefer to hunt for posts to merit or ignore, and I do get to read a few interesting threads as a result. It is a bit time consuming though.
I guess I have a rough idea about your taste and I admire it. You are right - it's time consuming and need patience (a lot). |
