2181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum to go up or down? on: April 23, 2016, 05:06:36 PM
As btc up, Eth down but in long term, I think Eth will grow much

haha, this was expected and was pretty clear. all the stupid lies and FUD ethereum bag-holders were spreading about bitcoin could only cause a small dip in bitcoin price (~5%) but eth is already down 40% from back when they were claiming to replace bitcoin.
2182  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can someone provide a legit site for me to play? on: April 23, 2016, 05:03:21 PM
faucet..hyip..gambling mining etc  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

seriously? OP is asking for a place to play gambling games and you suggest these to him. and the strange part is that you are currently wearing a primedice signature!!

and your suggestions are terrible, everybody knows that faucets are total waste of time. and hyips or anything in that group is a total scam that is why they are called this.
and mining requires a good investment and free electricity or it is waste of time and money.
2183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: April 23, 2016, 04:57:51 PM
There is smart goals, smart plans, smart .. whatever you name. Smart gambling, you ask? Well, don't be afraid, put in all your money, lost all or be rich. That is the wrong way. I don't usually gamble but I believe that as long as one is patience, the gambling operator will not be able to get his/her money (in our case, Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies) easily.

The outcome will be the same though -- losing up all your money. It doesn't matter how long it takes before the gambling operator gets your money. Actually you only wasted your time if you'll end up having nothing after staying in the casino for half a day when you can also end up having nothing after staying for like an hour or two.

The outcome might or might not be the same. If the gambler is self-controlled (which is not the case for many people), the casino operator will have a hard time getting the money. Self-controlled and patient is two important key point to be a successful better gambler - lol, what am I talking about?.

It has been noticed that majority of people lack self control which leads to disaster and end up loosing everything, and I don't think there can be any smart way to gamble.

No matter what strategy you use, you will eventually lose because the house edge is against you. The smartest way is not to tempted and gamble.
If you still want to gamble, it is highly advisable to gamble with funds that you can afford to lose.

this is only true about games like dice where you have no control over the result of the game, although other games are somewhat similar but at least in some of these gambling games like Poker or Sports betting you can have a better win rate if you have the skills required for them.
and always luck will play a big role, there is no argument there.
2184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: April 23, 2016, 04:53:44 PM
Bitcoin gambling has grown a lot even faster than fiat gambling ever since the Internet was introduced. The advantage of bitcoin over fiat is users do not need to verify their particulars to withdraw from the gambling site. This is the biggest advantage over fiat for online gambling.

you are missing the biggest benefit of gambling with bitcoin, and that is the anonymity it offers.
anybody from any country can gamble with bitcoin and not care about anything even in those countries like US that have strict rules about gambling and they close accounts if you do it, they can easily use bitcoin and nobody ever knows.
2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: April 23, 2016, 04:49:50 PM
Debit cards provide convenience. It's hard to buy an item you want on eBay if you have bitcoin. If you use a debit card, you can still pay with your bitcoin, but you are technically paying with fiat.
I dont think people carea bout technically, they just want to buy something with credit card and use their bitcoin, but i think people like this not have pure enjoyment to use bitcoin.

people mostly care about the "fees" they have to pay to those card providers so they do care about the technically, for example when you can pay with something else and have less fess nobody will choose paying with bitcoin debit card and pays more fee.
2186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get sex workers to use bitcoin? on: April 23, 2016, 04:46:34 PM
Honestly, I find this to be insulting. We need more proper adopters for adoption. This is not the way to go. At all. Sex work isn't respectable.

whether you and me like it or not is irrelevant, people have always been using sex workers and will always continue to use them in whatever form that is, and they are using cash for offline payments (like at a club) or credit card payments for online which will be so much better if it is done with bitcoin anonymously.
2187  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: April 22, 2016, 12:02:07 PM
i love to invest in both of them at the same time, but mostly i hold gold and trade bitcoin and most of my money investment is in bitcoin because it has more potential of growing and more profit.
but gold is also good because of the stability and popularity it has.
2188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recent Price Bump on: April 22, 2016, 11:59:49 AM
i think the biggest news so far was the steam news. i saw it first on reddit/r/bitcoin first page and i was so happy that they finally are doing something about this.
2189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOTA2 PREDICTIONS ***FREE*** +6.56 UNITS +0.115 Profit @milos_zikic LIVE TIPS! on: April 22, 2016, 11:45:45 AM
wow many free pick from your thread , good luck zilara

also i take your #5 and #6 picks

how about #4 with team secret, they have always been my favorite team in Dota2 and it looks good to me.

also i am more leaning towards team Empire in the next match than fnatic.

That match is a loss,SECRET lost to Empire,,, 90%:10%  i have no idea what happened,i guess wherever RTZ goes team has no luck on major tournaments. :x Im doing recap of the day after all the matches are finished . Cheers all!

yeah, i missed that match. i should go watch it again now.
i don't know what happens to these teams in these situations. sometimes i feel like they are playing with one hand!
2190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "All In" or "Bank" Challenge! (Comment and I'll do it) on: April 22, 2016, 11:41:10 AM
What are you trying to test if users get to decide what you do with their posts?
Also which theory from the thread you linked are you trying out?

The "All In" bet using a small bankroll is it a good idea?

I plan to document the journey here...

In terms of making money? No, no matter what better technique will lead to ruin if you're playing on a site, even sports betting.
Could be fun though having people participate though.

This is why we are here to prove if it is a profitable method I will risk my funds...

We need participation tho for the experiment to work

The first move is BANK

I need the second move for our second wager

it is not a good method in my opinion, but it is surely an interesting one and i will try to follow this topic to follow your journey and wish you luck

i would vote for All in for bets, to put all the profit down each time and if the profit gets big (multiple wins) then make it Bank, half the profit.

2192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the odds of dice man on: April 22, 2016, 11:33:32 AM
the odds of wining can change in dice, they depend firstly on the multiplier you choose and also it depends on the house edge and since it is usually the same value the odds will be the same in different places.
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 22, 2016, 11:30:26 AM
at this point ETH is just having some dead cat bounces and that is all there is.
don't try to see too much into it and even if you want to trade it make sure to get out before the dump happens again.
with the bitcoin price rising ETH will disappear soon.

I think the Etheruem is in the consolidation phase. After a few months, its price will rise above $20.

you can "think" that will happen and nothing will make me happier than to buy ETH again and dump at higher price to make more money easy.

but in a couple of months bitcoin will be all that matters in crypto market and all these alts will fade away specially an altcoin like ETH that has been shit-talking about bitcoin all these time and wanted to replace it.

others like LTC might rise with bitcoin but not alts like eth.
2194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: April 22, 2016, 11:25:07 AM
Ethereum could be a bubble. But it has not burst yet. It might inflate again in the future if there is active development.

That bubble is deflating at the moment. Its price has dropped 50% from the peak. It has good correction.

the Ethereum bubble is so much bigger than this, so it needs a lot more correction(s) in order to reach the real ETH value. right now we are still inside the bubble and since the hype is not yet completely over the price will go down slowly with dead cat bounces.

2196  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Halving Hype on: April 22, 2016, 11:16:39 AM
So we all know after the halving we are all going to be rich beyond our wildest dreams But when will the slow pump start to happen due to the halving?

Is it already happening and where do you think it will go?

a) when will the pump happen?
b) how high will it go?
c) what will the price settle at?

Y answers:
a) already started
B) 5k usd
c) 1k usd

we don't know that and there is no way of knowing it.
also it is possible that the rise will be smaller than expected for example rise only as high as $600 after halving.

but my guess is the rally will start in a month or two and the price will rise up to $1000, but again that is just speculating.
2197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enormous ways to earning Bitcoin on: April 22, 2016, 11:11:36 AM

i think it is legit. at least it seems like it.
C.A.T has been around for a very long time (since 2014 for ref: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.0)
i don't have personal experience with the ref payment but it seems unlikely that a legendary member with +44 trust scams you for such a simple thing.
plus you are bringing him customers and payment means continuation of selling the bot.
2198  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: April 22, 2016, 11:06:32 AM
This wasn't the year of bitcoins for me because I set high goals, I have set goals where I see bitcoins price going over 1200$ again and the day it reached will be the year of Bitcoins for me.

Year is not end and price can reach 1200$ maybe, but i don't really belive on it. You are really so optimistic if thinking about this amount of money for 1btc.

I think the price could reach $1200 by the end of this year or early next year. I want very slow rise.

I think $1200 is too high to expect by the end of the year, as I think max it can reach to $1k and that also if we see higher price at the time of halving.

it is a high price but it is not that strange to be reached actually.
don't forget that this has happened once before, so it shows that bitcoin price has the potential to grow that much and get past the last high price record.
2199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: joy and sorrow you, since know bitcoin? on: April 21, 2016, 06:00:59 AM
it makes me sad sometimes to see other people so ignorant of how great bitcoin is and also see all these other people trying so hard to spread their fud about bitcoin.

but overall i am so happy that i came to know bitcoin and become an early adopter instead of finding out about it when it is too late.
2200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever missed the chance of getting bitcoin at cheaper price? on: April 21, 2016, 05:48:10 AM
well, i have missed the biggest opportunity of all times which is buying bitcoin when it was below $10, and i think everybody else here feels the same way too.

but from the time i have started using bitcoin and from the time have decided to seriously invest in it i have never missed any low price, dip or any decline to buy bitcoin, i am always all over it.
