Good afternoon.

I'm sure it's a lost cause, but have any of the CBX powers that be contacted anyone at Cryptsy regarding the wallet and withdrawals (If there is anyone left to be in touch with)? I have a few CBX on there and don't want them to go to waste...

Thanks!

I have submitted a ticket and reached out via skype to Mullick. No response yet, but doing everything I can...
Thanks. It's game over at Cryptsy...just hope the CBX megawallet doesn't get stolen and liquidated...

Just a note: I removed Cryptsy from unobtanium.uno until this situation resolves.

edit: not that I have actual hopes for it to resolve positively. but I guess there is a 0.5% chance or something, lol
I was going to say that I liked your optimism; however, it did not seem well placed.

The saddest part of the whole thing (aside from people losing big bucks) is that the comedic Cryptsy hate threads will no longer have any material to continue...

curious, did anyone sign up for the Cryptsy debit card?

If so, did you ever get it? If so, does it still work? Did it ever work?

I looked online after a long break from crypto. I see a great opportunity on doge buy one exchange, move to cryptsy and sell for more.

The only reason that "great opportunity" exists is because people can't withdraw BTC from cryptsy.

Whenever you see such an apparent opportunity try to understand why it exists and whether it is real.
Exactly, one would imagine with so many crypto exchange failures that everyone would heed the old adage:

When something looks to good to be true...

@smokes, right on. This is Uno's 3rd or 4th brush with exchange failings.  Uno will come through this ok, as before.

@siameze, I'd love to see Cryptapus on the dev payroll, and I am grateful to him for all of the good he has brought to Uno. He makes Uno more useful and fun with all the great stuff at https://cryptap.us/uno, and he has always given me excellent advice right when I've needed it. He has certainly earned his role as a respected community elder.

Agreed! Cryptapus is awesome! Thanks for all of your help!

[Pls keep any Cryptsy related posts here vaguely connected to Uno. I know newcomers are finding this thread by searching for "Cryptsy."  Welcome, and if you used Uno to escape Cryptsy, tell us your story.  If you need to generally vent about Cryptsy, visit this other thread.  ]
Yay that the Cryptsy wallet is under 8%! It is amazing to me that 8 of the remaining 9 top 10 wallets have been dormant for a minimum of 160 days. Gives new meaning to buy in May and go away?

Uno now selling for 0.0078 on Cryptsy.

Learminer has decided to add a warning about Cryptsy to Unobtanium.uno  I completely agree.
I have not been in the troll box on Cryptsy.

Are they still processing $UNO withdrawals? Are there other coins that can withdraw?

Too bad Coinmarketcap unhooked Cryptsy. Uno would be shining right now in the results.  Grin

Someone just bought the Uno cryptsy market up to 0.00625

Welcome cmg777!

How did you come to know Unobtanium?

Have you been a holder of $UNO for awhile?

Or, did you use Unobtanium to exit your holdings from Cryptsy?
234  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 03, 2016, 09:04:57 PM
If you want out of Cryptsy, it is my understanding that withdrawals are still possible through $UNO Unobtanium withdrawals...

Does anyone know anything about paid advertising online? What would be some good sites to target? I'm thinking...Libertarians, collectors, economic collapse types. Get our feet wet with some small purchases and see if it generates any traffic. We could ask one of the artistic folks here to create an ad.

I'm sure that we could get together on the Cat at some point and throw out some ideas on this matter.

Several tin-foil-hat-type sites come to mind, but we would likely be best served expanding beyond that market.

Also, does anyone have any idea what kind of budget would be required? I'm on board to contribute.

Unobtanium is doing quite well, a really low inflation coin with a stable comunity, now is really cheap and i am sure 2016 would see it in the 0.01 range again, but we need some marketing campaign for new users can join it
Merry Christmas to all!

Welcome bhokor!

@bhokor are you affiliated with Yobit? I see you have them under your handle. We tried to get $UNO listed on Yobit while back with no success, even though we paid the fee. They had trouble compiling the wallet or something technical. If you have some contacts there, would you be willing to share them so we could attempt to get on that exchange? One of our goals is to be listed on more Chinese exchanges.

As for Cryptsy, if it were frozen by a court order, one would imagine that the sleuthing skills of Gleb and the rest of the crew on the Cryptsy conspiracy thread would have found and posted it. I think the answer is much simpler in that they tried to run a fractional reserve exchange and got burned!

Anyone up for the cat with me and RDD?

So again from my view on working inside Cryptsy the Garza thing just isn't a path as far as Paul. There were some talks but mostly related to InsideBTC in Las Vegas and him wanting to be a part of Cryptsy. That never happened. Can't speak much to Marshall he was there about 5-6 months before he left. As far as the SEC Marshall Long being CTO was not a secret. Honestly most of the stuff you guys are talking about is available to them. I know on the paycoin thing action was taken not sure on the legalities of me speaking to it at this point. When I was at Cryptsy the Fincen stuff was a pain in the ass because its actually illegal for them to comment if someone did something.

I saw lots of posts when I was there where a guy would say his stuff is frozen etc. 99% of the time it was he was flagged and reported to Fincen. But the stupid law says you cant tell them that. It was a painful restriction. So lets say a company did something wrong who was a customer it was likely filed as a SAR. The big downfall with that is Cryptsy couldn't say hey yeah its fucked up so we reported it to Fincen. As that would be considered informing someone they were under investigation. At least my understanding.

I'll add I definitely don't think the current issues are SAR related lol. Unless the system started flagging all users.

As far as what your saying Peon. I don't work there don't really care I'm just telling folks what I know from being an insider within the bounds of the NDA I signed. There are plenty of folks working there who would be all over it if that was the case (at least my opinion) and they would not stay.

So what discussions has Cryptsy had with the SEC? Do you think Cryptsy can survive the run-on-the-bank scenario they are facing? People seem to think it looks like they are surviving on on their deposits hoping they can cope with the day-to-day operating margins to stay afloat. If they had to return all customer funds, do you think they could do it?

Hell no, all those deposits are going to fund / float Big Vern's new Chinese Cryptsy knock-off exchange...

And guess what word is censored in bitebi9 chat, yep, Cryptsy. You should post those fun facts in that reddit thread.

The /r/bitcoin folks seem to like our theory.
Once again, the brilliant minds at $UNO are ahead of the game!

Does this include "brilliant minds" that can't find the location of a .conf file? Genuinely curious.
LMAO I really tee'd that one up for you!
