221  Economy / Collectibles / Re: TX_CERT a protocol to certify a collectible using Bitcoin network on: February 15, 2023, 03:54:05 PM
I tried something kind of similar,  I called it proof of burn signature binding.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5150524.0
It could be altered as follows:
basically, you make a PoB vanity wallet with the products details upon creation to attach to your products transaction.
Buyer signs message with burn of a satoshi to said wallet, creating some type of product ledger/chain of logistics.
new buyer of product funds a satoshi to the tx ledger and signs proof of ownership,
the previous owner can even sign a new message letting the world know they no longer own it.

Just a thought, this project was for fun and to play/learn more about blockchain features this might not be a viable solution to anything other than just having fun with blockchain.

*edit
Here was a snippet from that post breaking down the ideology and use case scenarios.
Received note today! I am pleasantly surprised how nice this note is..thankyou Wink
What do you think about the binding procedure ? PoB
Please clarify..binding procedure? You mean the godl strip?
please note the notes are not made by me (they are tartadeco novelty notes)I did the qr code and essentially tried to make the note a proof of burn by burning Satoshi to the qr and verifying the notes from funding wallet with a signature with descriptors of notes .
The basic idea is that note will always have a face BTC value of 1000 satoshis , in your notes case it's 1002 Satoshi burned to it
It was really a concept introduction I worked on for a while, these notes seemed ideal to try this concept on as they are all serialized and probably really hard to reproduce.

Concept -
Make a physical item hold BTC value without a key.
Prerequisites-
Serialized item that's hard to fake/reproduce.
Burner addresses that can be printed to the item.
Process-
Sign message with item specifics from Minting/Burning address such as serial number and item details.
You could even sign the message with all buyers of items with reference so you can see who originally owned it  to further verify an items validity.

You could do this process to let's say a $1 bill , and make it worth $1usd + Burned BTC  (perfectly legal btw as long as the bill is spendable)  in us.

I would love to further explore things I can do with this process.

222  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2021 Lealana error coin thread on: February 14, 2023, 09:17:34 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm going to be doing a video specifically on the 2021 Lealana coins including the error coins. Now that they've most likely been delivered Id like to see if any more variations in errors have been found. I have already seen one in edition to the one 2stout posted. The way I see it is, there are 2 variations to the error coins. First, the true error coin of the spaced out L which is an actual hologram error. Second error is partial holograms that have been omitted. I think it will be important post your error with your coin# so there will be an early record of these errors that truly came from the Smoothie factory. The goal is to discourage people in the future from creating their own #2 error coin by removing a portion of the hologram. Especially if we see these selling at a premium in the future. If you do post your error coin and coin# Ill mention your coin specifically in my video with your permission.
Here's the topic. Might make things a little easier for people to reference.

Just got a Lealana 2021 Rainbow Brass Error Design D Rainbow Brass #47 back from MJ purchased from Saxoshi.
Got a MS68, verified the load.

I stopped using them after they kept all my fork funds in 2017.
They pretended to be accommodating but I never saw my fork money.

There will always be a conversational backdoor to add prime constraints these MLLM models.
It's an ongoing cat and mouse game.

Some open-source alternatives are popping out as well, like this one:

https://github.com/LAION-AI/Open-Assistant
https://open-assistant.io/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64Izfm24FKA

Looks pretty interesting, but still in the early development stage. They're aiming for it to be able to interact with 3rd party systems, which would be pretty big if it's achieved, and it's free and open-source.

Currently looking for contributors to the data collection, if anyone's interested.
I have some equipment.
Might not be the best but it's a foot in the door on deep learning gear.
I had a pinecone ada buildup but decided a different route.
So no data but I'm interested in self hosted GPT alternatives that I can fine tune Smiley

226  Economy / Services / Re: Betnomi.com | Signature Campaign | Up to 0.0025 BTC/W on: February 06, 2023, 07:13:03 PM
I will keep the avatar then  Smiley

I'd say that the avatar campaign continues only for those who were hired just for the avatar one. If you are in doubt ask icopress or I suppose he will clarify here.

Avatar campaign was invitation only.
I believe only ChipMixer participants qualified as they don't require an avatar.
So, if you applied for the campaign here in this topic. Your probably not in the separate avatar campaign.
(But was still mandatory to wear for all)

This was a great play by betnomi to get quality posters on board.

Bitcointalk wasn't founded by satoshi but from theymos and certainly not founded in 2009 . Bitcointalk got registered in 2011 ( https://who.is/whois/bitcointalk.org ) , almost one year after satoshi has left the community . So , satoshi never posted on bitcointalk . ChatGPT just reproduces what most people say . Don't take everything it says as granted . In fact if you continue asking the right questions you can squeeze it easily into the ropes .

Incorrect.

228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Address on: February 05, 2023, 02:27:59 PM
Just wondering out loud here..

Is it possible to create/choose our own Bitcoin address & public key?

Yes, like this you mean? https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/1SPLiTKEYbLy5Da8BNjVj3RBhSGRDDa9J
If all the content everyone is dropping on you is a little "technical" there is a service made to simplify it.
https://1splitkey.com its a little different than all the other services out there, we are the only mainstream service like this that offers split key generation for vanity wallets.
Many people on the forums use our service, it was designed to be secure & safe.
If you have the capacity its advisable to do it yourself for additional layer of security. My website should help educate you in the process.
I really appreciate all the support guys.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc privatekey with lost the last 6 characters on: February 05, 2023, 02:20:42 PM
How many of these "private keys" do you have? It seems like every now and then you come here with another key missing arbitrary number of characters trying to "find" or sometimes try to sell.
Yea seems to be recurring thing with this user.
looks like they have pissed a couple of people off in the past attempting to help too.
Looks like broken promises for bounties for help that have never been paid.

230  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Charity Signature and Avatar Campaign - Auction for ColdKey victims on: February 04, 2023, 04:01:58 PM
The original buyers of these wallets knew the risks associated with em.

Everyones aware of "not your keys, not your coin," and they invested only what they could afford to lose.

By holding charity auctions, yall are essentially reducing the impact of the loss on the victims,

but it does not change the fact that they were aware of the risks and made the decision to invest.

Charity should not be used as a means of absolving individuals of their personal responsibility.

It should be viewed as a way to provide support and assistance to those in need.

we utilize the same techniques as vanitypool yet we offer our service mostly free.

We need a brand ambassador that fully understands how our system works.
*rephrased We would like to out SEO other similar service's that are scams (vanity wallet providers that dont offer split key generation are 100% scammers.)

Yea, anit-cheat/GPT may work for a casual user.
But it won't stand a chance against a good prompt engineer.

233  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Antminer S19JPro 122T on: January 29, 2023, 05:27:40 AM

I think its because its probably an in house solution and a step up towards 3 phase.

I imagine they couldn't find anything rated right for $20 or less so they just made one. (probably saved a lot of $ doing it too)

Bitcoin Miner S19 XP Hydro took the waterproof connectors NotFuzzyWarm shared.

these look like a step below that but a bit above a c19 as a c19's max is rated 250V and 20 Amps

So p14 is the name dubbed to this thing then huh?
18 on a 20a is cutting it close.
Hopefully it's quality and not corner cut on awg.
234  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: VanitySearch (Yet another address prefix finder) on: January 27, 2023, 06:52:36 PM
Guys I updated my VanitySearch clone to work on GPU as well as CPU, so you guys shouldn't have any problems with that. I'm still debugging some issues with ".*" and ".+" wildcards that citb0in spotted, and the GPU build has a nasty and unexpected 5x slowdown. Which is pretty weird since almost all of the GPU codebase is the same as the original.
Ive always noticed a slowdown on verbose wildcard vanities. specially ones like 1test*test.
usually, its indexes much slower with split key generation + wildcards toss in a split key +1test*test even with -c it seems to take a while longer than it should.

235  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Antminer S19JPro 122T on: January 27, 2023, 03:58:57 AM

Looks like you might have found a winner.

It's hard to go on these little pictures though.
236  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking campaign manager on: January 27, 2023, 03:41:09 AM
Thank you for all of the replies and helpful information. We are in the process of reviewing all of this and the personal messages we have received and are working to make the best decision going forward.

Thanks all and please feel free to continue to make recommendations and provide helpful advice as we will be reaching out to potential managers in the next few weeks to get started.

Kind regards all.
I was interested but I've done a little research.
And now I have questions before I could toss you an "application"

First off Id like to state your messages on twitter are disabled

And tweeting with davinci looks lazy and tacky.

I'm a little confused to what your service is, is it like nicehash?
But instead of BTC payouts you do USDC and your own in house token called "Home"?

Your website a few snippets.

Quote
How can I withdraw my earnings?
As your PC is earning, you will be credited with USDC. This is a popular stable digital currency that can be easily moved to your favorite exchange or wallet and converted to USD or another digital asset.

I see I am also earning Home Token. Why?
BitHome is creating a simple and elegant way to reward individuals with PCs and mining rigs. BitHome wants to reward users beyond the earnings they can make through mining with their PC’s. That is why each user is also rewarded with their % of the HOME token in relation to the work they are doing.

Your Service and privacy policy don't show up.

Your "Whitepaper" did though.

Code:
Forward-looking statements can relate to potential future goals and project features that may or may not be built to the description in this paper. BitHome
is continuing to develop the platform, and this paper is simply meant to be an overview of current state of BitHome. This paper may include a vision for
what BitHome would like to work towards. This encompasses, but is not limited to, BitHome’s goals, development expectations around the platform,
features that may be discussed but not built or fully built, or any performance related to any growth related to the platform, community, token etc.
Statements made in this paper are not a guarantee of future performance, features, products development etc. Do not rely on these statements, they do
not provide any guarantee of any kind. These statements will carry risk. BitHome is under no obligation to provide information or any forward-looking
statements.
While BitHome coin is calculated in 10 min intervals, rewards on the platform are batched in intervals divisible by 10 (currently 30min) to eliminate data
entries per day.
BitHome’s own blockchain does not exist today and is not in development as of this writing. This is considered a forward-looking statement and a
potential goal of BitHome.
Staking on the BitHome platform is not yet staking in the sense of performing validations on a POS blockchain as BitHome is currently leveraging the
Ethereum blockchain. Staking on BitHome currently is locking up HOME token on the platform and being rewarded for doing so. In the future BitHome
would like to build its own blockchain to allow staking that will support the chain. See BitHome’s future goals for its blockchain and platforms.
These may or may not be goals of BitHome. These are considered forward looking statements.

It's the starting with "Forward-looking statements" and ending with "These may or may not be goals of BitHome. These are considered forward looking statements."
for me.

How do we redeem "Home" and how is its value determined?

https://www.bithomemining.com/ is this your project?

237  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Flipper Zero and NFC wallets- is this an issue? on: January 27, 2023, 12:44:05 AM
It then got me wondering how this could potentially be bad for bitcoin wallets, specifically NFC storage. Thoughts?
I saw this interesting device few months ago, and I have it in my bookmarks but I never managed to write anything about it in forum.
This can certainly be used as some kind of  Bitcoin signing device, but there are two problems at the moment for this.
First, Flipper Zero is Sold Out currently, and second, price of $169 is way to expensive for me to even consider doing this.
I wouldn't consider it is very safe to be used for Bitcoin, since it has antennas, RFID, NFC, Bluetooth, etc.
On positive side, it's cool that code is released with open source firmware.

238  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Antminer S19JPro 122T on: January 27, 2023, 12:39:19 AM

I should have killed that image.

The one on bitmain looks like it could be a c19

I have a long listing here :

https://internationalconfig.com/icc6.asp?item=57011

still can't find a 25 amp plug

home page

https://internationalconfig.com/wwpts/index.asp

this is a very large catalog. can't find the plug.

found a 20amp 250 volt
https://www.internationalconfig.com/documents/57090-M.pdf

but this miner can do 277 volts so may need a 277 volt socket/plug

here is all I got on 277 volt cables

https://www.kordking.com/277-volt-power-cords/

found a nema 7 on amazon

I think its because its probably an in house solution and a step up towards 3 phase.

I imagine they couldn't find anything rated right for $20 or less so they just made one. (probably saved a lot of $ doing it too)

239  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Antminer S19JPro 122T on: January 26, 2023, 11:52:18 PM
I'm liking the price and spec of this new model - however I'm confused with regards the single mains connector. I don't recognise it, and in typical Bitmain style, the technical information on their website is severely limited - other than stating it is a 25A connector. Having searched several pages of Google '25A mains connector' I can't find any images matching the connector that's been used on the miner.

So, does anyone recognise this connector?

https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020230119205518267y5UO1czX06AE

Well, just by following the link you provided to the Miner S19j Pro+ product page and looking at its specifications, you can make sure that there is a standard network connector Network connection mode RJ45 Ethernet 10/100M, which can also be seen in the image of the miner, and 25A is the current consumed from the AC network.

As per my original post, I am asking about the MAINS connector, not the ethernet connector.

Your picture is nothing but fan wires and the standard antminer interface.

antminers have 2 wired connections (externally)

Network and Power

Assuming you're talking about the power cable since its the only thing looking different,

Its 100% going to just be an end that you fit yourself on a locking style c19 block end block or the whole cord. I see silver on the wire end on the power connector thats indicative of a crimp or just part of the "locking system" they are talking about. I guess someone will have one in hand soon enough to give us the scoop.

I've been very satisfied with this signature campaign.
Icopress has done a great job managing it and honoring the Sr/Hero/Legendary - 0.0001 btc/post (no minimum/max 25 posts).
I recommend new applicant's pending approval to go and create some quality post so when your being reviewed to join the campaign,
you have better odds of being approved.
Keep up the good work icopress and thanks to Betnomi.com for running this signature campaign!
