So no need for widespread panic?

Machine learning is a product of the collapsing costs of information processing and the masses of digital data that can now be gathered and channelled online. Probabilistic techniques are used to “train” machines as they churn through the data, until they are able to see patterns and reach conclusions that were not programmed in at the outset.

Wonder how much training (data feeding) the AI in Sapience will need before it is able to do meaningful financial pattern predictions.

Can confirm something similar happened to me the other week with my bank in France.

When explaining some recent transactions (because the asked what they were for, for security purposes) was to purchase Bitcoin I was surprised to hear them say "we'd been talking about Bitcoin recently and it could be the future of money".

No criticism of it (at least to my face) at all.

Always good to read these old threads and see how people were right.

Everyone is indeed still "finding Satoshi".

I think we need somebody to tell us a cool story.

Sapience AIFX is not showing the correct total coins available.

400K or so were sent to burn address after ICO ended.

Here is a Block Explorer showing the right amount.

Please update CMC to the above version.

Thanks!!!  Smiley

ShadowCash because there will always be a niche for top anon coins.

Youtube links added.

Raw demo footage captured in real time and edited to avoid waiting during confirmations.

Two separate wallets (sender and receiver) were used, one situated on a VM.

Ok thanks, that's awesome!
Does Shadow/SDC work in the same way as Mastercoin/Bitcoin? I mean, are they linked in a similar way?

Yes Shadow is effectively a token on the SDC blockchain (like Mastercoin/Bitcoin) but there are intermediary processes that make Shadow anon.

For example and there are many.

Changing Mastercoin for Btc does not create a new Bitcoin.

Whereas, swapping Shadow for SDC does create a new Shadowcash.

Over 0.5 btc was donated in the last 24 hours... Keep going as the target is not far off.

Less than 2 btc in order to raise enough funds for the SDC peer review.

That's not even 0.02 btc per person if 100 community members chip in, under $6 each!

Less than 2.5 btc to raise for the SDC peer review.

instead of converting everything in 1 shot.

Not sure if it's best to hold everything in Shadow.

ShadowCash is PoS after all and it stakes using SDC, if everyone went into Shadow the network strength would surely be weakened.

Probably 50/50 is a good number but would like the devs or experts to confirm this.

I am converting small random amounts from time to time.

SDC will be the next darkcoin very soon im sure of it anyone agree with me ?

I genuinely think it will.

The anon tech is far better than DRK right now and it works 100% of the time right now.

The market will catch up to SDC sooner or later.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin should modify to POW + POS ? █████ Poll █████ on: January 06, 2015, 06:56:20 PM
I voted yes.

A hybrid system would be great for btc and probably secure the network in a less centralized fashion as many many more nodes contributed to PoS mining.

I doubt that the bitcoin community / foundation / core devs would ever have the balls to make it happen though.

Hey guys, let's get some donations rolling to Isidor Zeuner for working on an in-depth audit of SDC's code.  He is an expert cryptographer and he will not only be reviewing ShadowSend v2, but also comparing it to solutions such as Cryptonote and Zero.

This will be extremely beneficial for Shadow as no qualified third-party reviews have yet to be published.  This should clear up much confusion regarding our tech and its similarity (or lack thereof) to Cryptonote.

SDC's team has decided that a modest 5 BTC donation by the Shadow community for Mr. Zeuner's time should be given, and so far 1 BTC has been donated.  5 BTC for a professional peer-review is a pretty sweet deal, so let's get this ball rolling and quickly meet our goal.

It would be helpful if he would accept SDC
240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitstamp closed for? on: January 05, 2015, 06:26:42 PM
Although the Bitstamp situation looks bad right now it will be good for the whole scene if they can get it resolved without scamming everyone from their remaining btc held in "cold storage".
