April 26, 2019 E*Trade Financial Corp. is getting ready to let customers trade cryptocurrencies on its platform, according to a person familiar with the matter. The firm will start by adding Bitcoin and Ethereum, and will consider adding other currencies in the future, said the person, who asked to remain anonymous because the matter is private. A spokesman for E*Trade declined to comment. E*Trade would be one of the largest securities brokerages to allow crypto trading. It will enter into a competitive market with startups like Coinbase Inc., which have made names for themselves as go-to places for such transactions. Closely held Coinbase reached a valuation of $8 billion in 2018 and projected sales of $1.3 billion. Fintech startup Robinhood, most recently valued at $5.6 billion, has also added cryptocurrency trading as a way to woo millennial customers. Are you sure you're not drunk, because I'm very sure that Bitcoin has been going up since April, which everyone is sure of?. Today the price has gotten to $6000 and it doesn't seem like it is stopping there,cause it is still moving upwards. Next target after this $6000 is $7000, which is likely to happen in the next two months. I will keep it quite less until some countries come up with their actual stand on cryptocurrencies. As it will highly impact the market and push it to a new level or pull it to a new low.

People are not really making use of DEX and I don't blame them for this, because most of the decentralized exchanges are not user friendly even to developers who were not involved in the development of the platform, I think if a company can come up with a user friendly decentralized exchange, then we might begin to see a lot of volume in this exchanges, for now the volume is so low and I won't advise anyone to make use of DEX for now until it has been modified in a way that guides won't be needed to trade. |

Already Binance support said there is no funds from the user will get affect from this they are going to refund all the lost funds so nothing to blow up here any more and they will increase their security to keep their reputation at its best.
The issue is important from security point of view and though no user will be affected by the theft which is very nice of Binance, the security concerns still roam around in the air and this is why people want to talk about it. If you want to increase easily the security of your coins you can do it by a simple step. Just withdraw your coins from the exchange to a personal safe wallet where you have the private keys. In case if the exchange gets hacked your funds are safu. Never store more in exchanges than you actually need for buying other coins. A crypto hack can also happen to big exchanges, like it happended to Cryptopia, a big exchange from new zealand where huge amounts of crypto funds were stolen from people that had their coins stored on the exchange when the hack happend. All users that had withdrawn the fund before were safe because they stored their coins in their own wallets. Even big exchanges are no guarantee that they can't be hacked, so better be safe and store your coins yourself. Storing your coins safely will prevent your coins from getting hacked and you won't lose your crypto by exchange hacks. We have been saying this over and over again, I am really getting tired of telling people this because it seems that they are not ready to learn and like losing their funds to hacker. Once you are done trading on an exchange, the best thing for you to do is to withdraw you funds out of that exchange and then fund it again once you are ready to trade, because leaving your funds on those exchanges is going to expose your funds to a lot of risk. |
