221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading by technical analysis or just intuition? on: June 14, 2018, 11:10:13 PM
Intuition = gambling. Just follow the trends, bitcoin is always in a pretty clear 1-2 months trend, uptrend, downtrend, uptrend, etc etc. The faster you recognize the trend the easier will be for you to profit. You don't need to nail the bottom or the top, you just need to understand in what trend the market is.

For instance now, we have been in a downtrend for some time which means we could be approaching a reversal but you have to be cautious and wait for confirmation of several days, then get in.

I don't agree with you, because intuition is experience talking and seeing thinks that you are missing. No one should be driven by intuition only, but turning your back to it is not smart either.

Maybe but if you want to succeed in trading you have to follow rules, your own rules, your own strategy, if you can't follow your own strategy then you are never going to make money, that's the only way to get rid of emotions.

223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy tether when the market is crashing? on: June 13, 2018, 10:42:16 PM
Invest in tether is not a good way for profit and you can not trade tether with real dollars. Anyway, if it is tradable, the trading fee will kill traders who want to trade tether with dollars.
OP didn't mention anything about making profit with tether. Converting your crypto to tether is one strategy to secure your profits when the prices starts heading down like where we are now.

I don't hold any tether though i'm fine with holding my coins and it's stressful when you have to watch the price every time just to move your coins to an exchange and back.

No shit, OP doesn't even understand that tether is basically usd, he even said he doesn't know how it always stays at 1$ lmao. Of course converting crypto into fiat is a way to secure profits, it has always been it's the only way really...
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: June 08, 2018, 07:34:06 PM
Well, the good thing about crypto is the potential returns even with a very small amount of money, 1$ is ridiculous but 100$ is enough to actually invest, something that you can't do in normal stock or forex markets where you need thousands of dollars to start investing, sometimes even 15-20k minimum to make some money back. Here in the crypto market if you are good or lucky you can turn 100$ into 1000$ in months, something that would take forever in the other markets.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ABS - Absolute Community take over. on: June 08, 2018, 07:32:27 PM
Not to sound rude, but what's the point of this coin? It just seems to me like another recycled dead coin. I mean I understand that it can be profitable to mine it but you have plenty of other coins for that too.
226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are u a technical analyst? on: June 08, 2018, 06:50:27 PM
A great youtube channel is ''thechartguys'' extremely helpful channel, I have been following it for a good amount of time and the guy is very accurate with his analysis, I made a really good amount of money  being patient and waiting for his big signals and it works most of the times.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: June 08, 2018, 06:47:51 PM
If the project doesn't reach the softcap, then 'YES' - it was a waste of time.
But in general I like Bounty campaigns, especially Signature campaigns.

Nowadays it can be hard to find solid projects which will be a success.

Well obviously but they usually still reach it. I agree it's harder but that also means more serious competitors and business, usually ICO's were 99% shit coins now it's more like a 50/50. Overall I think it's great for everyone and it helps with the original idea of cryptocurrencies of distributing wealth.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: June 07, 2018, 11:37:44 PM
Isn't the reason that you are asking this question the very cause of all problems related to Bounty Campaigns?

Bounty Campaigns are not designed for people to earn money for minimal work, the idea is to empower and reward people who are interested in their project to help advertise it to the world. But, where there is money, there is greed. Now we have 'people' (I'm sure that a large portion of these 'people' are just 1 person handling multiple accounts) joining campaigns without caring for what they join or the ideals of the project (that's how scam projects get their coverage) and are in it just for the money.

I don't think Bounty Campaigns are a waste of time, I think that in principle they are awesome. However if you're looking at it from a financial gain perspective then you're part of the problem that is damaging crypto in general. Better to get involved with fewer projects that you really can believe in and support them honestly and properly.

Yes, that is a big problem, there are tons of these farm accounts controlled by a few people joining any campaign which as you said gives them coverage. If only real people was joining then most of the shitty campaigns would not have many participants. Also the bounty campaigns don't care too much, or not at all about the quality of the posts.
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading and heavy manipulation on: June 07, 2018, 11:34:42 PM
I mean, if you have been daytrading for a few months and you think you already should know all the secrets and how to make millions you are delusional. It takes years to learn, specially in a volatile market like this one. You also have to use more stuff, not just TA, news and events can influence this space heavily.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: The June is coming and the market will boom up from that on: June 07, 2018, 11:32:59 PM
Hello everyone
You all are worried about the price of bitcoin that why it is not increasing in value and you forgot the previous two years. In the previous two years we saw a situation that from the month of January to May the price was near to stability stable and with slow move and then after the month of June the price started to increase and it doubled up much faster and multiplied many times. It is sure that we saw a situation in the previous two years then we will also see it in this year. So get ready as the train will start within a few days.
What happened with Bitcoin over the last 2 years doesn't mean it will happen again this year.  The value of Bitcoin is unpredictable because of it's volatile, that means no one know when it is going to pump again. But one thing is for sure, Bitcoin will rise up again whether this month of June or next month it will definitely rise and we can still earn huge profit.

How can you say all that and then finish with ''one thing is for sure'' It's not for sure at all, why would it be a sure thing? There is no reason to think bitcoin will ever reach the ATH or even have good gains from here. There is good reason to think the whole market will go up but not bitcoin specifically.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH on: June 07, 2018, 11:31:30 PM
Bitcoin is not going to reach $20k again, and if that happens at some point, it wont be during this year just like many people is thinking that it is going to be in here.  I have already assumed that.

Im sure it will happen one day. I debate with myself when it will happen. I too don't think it will happen this year, as Bitcoin usually goes through these long bear markets after exponential price increases. However, Bitcoin has had significantly more coverage this year, and everyone knows about it now. Things will be very different this time around.

I'm personally just hoping for more fiat pairs. It's annoying that everytime bitcoin falls everything else also falls. It's not healthy for the market so before bitcoin can reach the ATH again I hope we have more fiat pairs.

I agree, this would be very nice. Bittrex I hear has partnered up with a bank and now offers USD trading pairs. This is huge news for the altcoin space for sure. It's going to be interesting to see how/if this will affect Bitcoin in the future.

It is but bittrex isn't exactly very reliable considering they pretty much forced everyone to verify their accounts and then it took 5+ months to do it because their support system was garbage.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you still get rich with crypto? on: June 07, 2018, 11:23:25 PM
With crypto, absolutely yes, bitcoin maybe not so much, the potential for bitcoin to do a x10 for example is not here right now. However alt coins, specially when they detach from bitcoin, the potential is huge, x10, x100, even x1000, all possible for many new coins.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: June 07, 2018, 11:22:10 PM
So is holding bitcoin, if you had and bought bitcoin at 20k, you could have lost a ton of money, obviously shitty altcoins lost even more value. An investment is always risky tho, as long as you are not pouring your entire portfolio in 1 shitty altcoin you should be fine.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: predicted BCH.....? on: June 07, 2018, 10:44:20 PM
0$ hopefully. They are trying to steal bitcoin's brand. Their promoters are a bunch of con artists, it's amazing that people would support roger ver for example, he is a complete nutjob.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Got ICO Tokens. Need money, any advice? on: June 07, 2018, 10:37:49 PM
I mean why would you invest in an ICO if you didn't believe in the project? Obviously they can't have an exchange ready before finishing their ICO, it takes time and they probably don't want a dumpage of tokens. Your best bet is to wait, I doubt anyone will be willing to buy the tokens from you.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Marinecoin almost 10x from Jan 2018 on: June 07, 2018, 10:29:49 PM
Rofl, what a fucking worthless coin, they locked their ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2971179.200

It's dead on cmc, it did 10x because it has 1$ volume, just garbage.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: INVEST in Aeternity !! on: June 07, 2018, 10:26:52 PM
Aeternity is best for investment it is at 3.7$ and in 2-3 months it will at 10$ so don't waste your time in other altcoins. Choose aeternity now and invest as much as you can to get some real profit.

Your opinions are also Welcome !!

x3 that's a bold claim, did something happen? As far as I know they have been around for a long time, why would it go suddenly to 10$ in just a few months? Don't get me wrong, the coin is great but I don't see it doing a x3 unless the whole market enters a bull run.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the decline of Ethereum? on: June 07, 2018, 10:23:56 PM
That idiotic ''article'' that you read was simply not accurate. Most of any coins is held by a few wallets because those wallets are exchange wallets, the idiots obviously didn't take that in count or the fact that there are hundreds of thousands of wallets with dust amounts of ethereum. It may seem like 3 people are holding the majority of eth but it's far from the truth.
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 6th of the month on: June 06, 2018, 11:29:19 PM
And the fact that everyone is talking about this pattern makes it useless, it happens everytime like the crypto consensus. If everybody is catching on these patterns, they stop working
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 6th of the month on: June 06, 2018, 08:24:36 PM
I've always said that we are in a tightening pattern on the weekly charts and I'm fairly confident that it's going to break around July, I don't know yet if it's going to be a bear break or a bull break but it's a very clear pattern to be watching.
