221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 20, 2020, 11:50:52 PM
When we do talk about on when a coin will die then its really hard to point out fingers or do make out some conclusion and if we do just simply based up
on whats the current standing of ETH into the market then you would normally say that it is impossible for the moment.
We can exactly pinpoint and come to a conclusion by monitoring the progress of each coin and how the developers are working in sorting out the issues and if you are seeing a dead silence from the development team then you can reach a conclusion that the project is dead Wink.

We cant deny that erc20 or smart contract feature is one of the most revolutionary projects that we had which really have some actual utility or real life usage
this is why its hard to believe that it would be vanished out into this market.
ETH is not the only coin that provides the smart contract feature and there are ton of other projects and the only difference is the popularity.

ETH 2.0 will be implemented soon and with the way the price is rising the momentum is in its path right now.
222  Local / India / Re: Indian media have again started Bitcoin discussion on: November 19, 2020, 10:54:20 PM
Thankfully this time an article by Indian media praising Bitcoin and the community. They have discussed about the ROI of Bitcoin and how much the community has matured post 2017 ATH.
Sadly everything revolves around money and if the price of bitcoin is rising then we would see praises and once the price goes down we will hear the media comparing it to Tulip and then highlight some stupid politicians criticizing the entire cryptocurrency market calling it a scam.

It's a shame that even Pakistan is planning to legalize cryptocurrencies while India is planning to ban it!
It is a privilege for everyone who voted for the current government to enjoy the perils they are offering, Bangladesh will overtake India in terms of GDP and that is not because Bangladesh and other neighboring countries suddenly gained prosperity but India went down the drains with the stupid policies and decisions and you think it is a big surprise that they are planning to disrupt things Undecided.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: November 18, 2020, 10:34:55 PM
Yes, you are right. If every business can follow the government rules, that can help the country's economy grow and they can have better development in the future. So if the casino which can make a lot of money from the gambling industry can pay the taxes which will be bigger than the other business, I am sure that can help the government. Every help from the business owner will be worth it for the government to run their countries and help other people in this pandemic.
What if the casino is virtual and how do you propose on taxing them if they are registered and located in a free heaven. It is impossible for them to tax them, all they can do is impose a complete ban of online gambling and encourage gambling houses to register with the government to get the approval to run the site, you know and everyone knows that it is impossible to come with that kind of restrictions.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: November 18, 2020, 09:29:57 PM
Everyone who gambled and made big parlays have gone through those moments and i had my bad times as well, if you are picking up and big parlay bet i usually used to add all the matches which i usually think will win even if the odds are as low as 1.10 and there was a time when i won all the matches but one with the lowest odd because there was an upset and the feeling you have after that cannot be explained.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 17, 2020, 12:55:46 PM

Really Hardik Pandya is a game changer. He is like a pillar of the middle order. He can help the team in times of need. And he is one of the best finishers. But MI has to remove any one of these 5 players from the team. Rohit Sharma is out of this list. So de Kock, Bumrah, Pollard and Pandya have to select 3 out of these four.  MI  will never want to be released Bumrah from the team. The other 3 are very skilled players. It is very difficult to decide to exclude one of them.
I am expecting them to retain all their stock players including Hardik Pandya, Pollard and Bumrah, the only question is what happens to Trent Boult and Quinton de Kock who were not their first choice players during the auction and they had an impact on the tournament and they cannot let go Trent Boult as he is a game changer as well but then next IPL will be played in India and it might change things.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 16, 2020, 07:34:03 PM
The Indian batsmen, apart from Virat Kohli can face pace bowling, but they can be quite inconsistent. If you remember the 2017 series, then it was Pujara who scored the most runs for India. So they have batsmen who can face world class pace attack. But the question is whether they will be able to do that on a consistent basis or not. Anyway, this time the indications are that CA will be preparing pitches that are more conductive to batting.
I have not seen any weakness in Virat Kohli when he faces fast bowling and if CA prepare batting wicket then it will help India as they have a strong batting line up and they have the bowlers that could bowl in any pitch especially Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami and if the pitch is not helping the bowlers then the India batsman will score a ton of runs as well.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 16, 2020, 06:53:29 PM
You are right. de kock and pollard Both are much more necessary for MI. And more important than the two of them is Jasprit Bumrah. Then I think it would be a good decision to omit Pandya. de kock played much better than Pandya. If MI give up de kock, they will not get a talented opener like him.
If you talking about Hardik Pandya he is a game changer and this year they had the perfect team with Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah share the new ball and they had the best batting line up and the strength of their middle order is Hardik Pandya and Pollard and they will try their best to retain all their top players and Ishan Kishan can open for them and he is a wicket keeper if they let go Quinton de Kock.
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 15, 2020, 10:54:56 PM
~
It is a possibility to go to the $17,000 USD but it is really too early to speculate on the $100,000 USD, in my opinion, we can speculate near the price to be on the $16,000 USD to $18,000 USD, and I am speculating near the last All-Time High, I feel that this is really the time for bitcoin to make a step and take on a new All-time high.
I have no doubt that the price would touch the all time valuation but it is a matter of when that would happen, we might not seen that in 2020 but by the first quarter next year we might see the price moving ahead and break a few resistance and records but the hopes of six figures is impossible at this juncture. Even when the price started rallying i was worried about the transaction charges and even though we had some delays in the past two weeks things are getting better.
229  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold mine at 14100 dammitttt on: November 15, 2020, 09:46:27 PM
I know the OP is very sorry to sell Bitcoin at $ 14100, but don't give up,
if Bitcoin makes corrections you can accumulate slowly with your capital,
even though the risk is great but it doesn't hurt if you try.
He sold expecting a correction and he might have done that made his profit by buying on a correction and selling during the pump and you will not be lucky all the time with your predictions and expectation. Patience is the key and wait for the market to stabilize before making a decision as historically bitcoin does not move a lot during holiday season and we are approaching one.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Risks Of Bitcoin Going To Zero Has Gotten More Lower Than Ever on: November 14, 2020, 09:10:53 AM
It will not go to 0 as long as there's use. It can be speculative, or as a darknet market currency. It really doesn't matter. Even old RPG game tokens have some value, but when game servers get disconnected this value goes to literal 0.
According to your view bitcoin will be valuable even if it is not pegged with fiat currency but there is a problem with that as you cannot use bitcoin as currency in the darknet market place and how can you speculation without having a valuation pegged to it  Tongue. If you are going to tell that bitcoin will be pegged with altcoins then you are claiming that even if bitcoin becomes worthless altcoin will move forward  Cheesy.

I do not foresee a situation where the price of bitcoin becomes worthless and hence there is no point in discussing this even for speculation.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 13, 2020, 11:33:32 PM
With Warner and Smith back in the team the competition is really high and India sneaked a victory last time in Australia but this time it is not going to happen  Grin.
It was a comprehensive victory because the team Australia selected was not able to face the Indian bowlers and the same bowling line up might not be coming back to Australia because Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma is injured but Mohammed Shami  and Jasprit Bumrah could test the players and the ODI and T20 would be really interesting but for Test matches without Virat Kohli in the team might be a hard battle.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be very cautious with your alts this period, you either sell early or hold. on: November 13, 2020, 10:49:43 PM
We investors always do the best we can to carefully evaluate the coins we are holding that we believe its potential in the long run, however, we can still make mistakes as no matter how we try, we can't guarantee success, that's the reason it's also called a high risk kind of investment.
Majority of the cryptocurrency assets are high risk investment but if you are smart enough to invest when the market is having a major correction and invest in the top established coins with good development team in the market then you will profit when the market recovers, always the entry is important and if you sort that out then the risk is much lower and the reward is much higher than any other financial asset.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 11, 2020, 11:17:54 PM
The Macau gaming enterprise have reported that more than 60% of the Workers working in casinos have been Forced to take Unpaid leave.

The weird thing was : If the Worker have worked for too long the casinos takes them for granted and they are more likely to loose their payment.

Now 8% of them are thinking of switching to new jobs.
This is a situation everyone is facing during this situation and most of the companies have cut down the salary by half and majority are not even giving the employees any pay for the past several months because this is an unprecedented situation we never faced in a very long time and even if everyone working in the gambling industry wanted to switch jobs it is not that easy.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 09:50:07 PM
Recently my grandmother asked me about BTC if its a good idea to invest..., my face  Shocked
I am not aware of your age group but for a grandmother to ask about bitcoin is amazing. I am not very much vocal about my investment and hence no one ask about it. My family members are aware of my involvement in the bitcoin market and they used to warn me because it is not regulated and the government can ban it anytime and so on but now a days they do not interfere in it.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 10, 2020, 06:49:47 PM
Mumbai Indians win their fifth IPL title, congratulations to become as 2020 IPL champion. Truly very deserving, Mumbai Indains is the strongest team in the IPL franchise so far and best combination ever. Sorry for DC, good try but next time.
The fun aspect is that DC let go of Trent Boult and MI were smart enough to grab the opportunity with both hands and ironically he is the man of the match in the final and along with Bumrah they formed the best bowling line up in the absence of Malinga and it paid off big time.

Overall, it was one of the best seasons and was very entertaining through and through.
This was the most competitive tournament as every team had their off days and some played brilliantly and some came back and stamped their authority in the play off.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY 32 ETH on: November 10, 2020, 05:59:30 PM
CZ binance tweet made me want to collect more eth, because eth 2.0 is coming soon now it's at the ETH2 deposit contract launch, anyone can participate in eth staking with the condition of depositing 32 eth.
In a cz tweet he said ("" I might buy 32 #ETH, just for the cause. Not financial advice. Just supporting ETH development "")
It is good to see your support, but if i am in that situation i would rather purchased bitcoin when the price was really low and waited for the long term rather than staking it in an experiment Tongue. Purchasing 32 ETH at this price is a big task for most of the users and if you have the ability to purchase that more power to you. I am hoping that the market would rise when ETH 2.0 is rolled out but it all depends upon how the market will perform in the next two months.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 10, 2020, 04:54:39 PM
DC came back in the game with Iyer and Pant half centuries else it would have being a low scoring game. But still 157 to win should not be that difficult for MI unless they lose couple of quick wickets in starting few overs which can just add a bit of pressure since its final, else possible they will take the cup for 5th time.
After the disastrous start they got Iyer and Pant took them to a total but with the batting line MI have it is not a competitive score as they bat really deep and DC failed to pick any wickets to put the pressure back to the batsman and they are on their way to another trophy.

MI just need 44 runs from 41 balls and with 8 wickets in hand it is an impossible task for any bowler.

238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 09, 2020, 05:27:23 PM
BCCI seems confused on Rohit and other players due to injury, they should have wait to finish IPL first to avoid any confusion, or at least disclose the squad one week before the Finals. Anyways here are more changes and update on Indian squad.
Rohit is not in the best of form and he is injured and they should not force him back, Virat is not going to play the entire Test series and it will be an advantage for Australia as the highlight of the series would have been Smith Vs Virat and who is going to score the most runs because in the last series Smith was leading with the runs and i was expecting a great battle.

240  Economy / Economics / Re: 1000 BTC moved after 10 years on: November 09, 2020, 11:04:03 AM
What would you do with 1000 BTC today? Smiley
If it is an individual moving the coins then he is trying to cash out at the right time which is most probably next year and settle for life, i am not having that kind of money in my entire life as savings and i have no idea what i will be doing, may be invest in real estate and help some underprivileged people in helping them attain their goals and make sure this kind of wealth would not destroy me Cheesy.
