Is the pool down? Website is down too.
I'm still mining, but I can't access the website either.
Scratch that, my miners are on failover.
2203  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: May 30, 2015, 03:59:06 AM
I have a U3. It says it is version 2 on the box, but is a solid cover.

I was literally re-zadiging my U3 as I read this.  Grrr....  Cry

Oh, I understand the whys and wherefores, it's just the principle that bugs me I guess.  But I wish you guys the best of luck, and will be following along in the various threads.
2206  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Ckpool Solo Setup mark 2 - An alternative on: May 29, 2015, 09:37:09 PM
I just don't like grouping up in a solo pool, it goes against the definition of "solo".  Basically the participants are running their own pool inside the solo pool architecture.  I ain't losing any sleep over it, though.
2207  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Pong Research case for Android Galaxy S5 (Verizon) on: May 29, 2015, 09:34:58 PM
0.1 bitcoin is not a small amount of money, also do you ship to european countries? if yes how much it would cost?

It's relative to the user, 0.1BTC I'd consider small.

I would ship to Europe at buyer additional cost, depends where in Europe it would be going.
2208  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I placed my 4 s3+ outside on: May 29, 2015, 05:44:36 PM
It would need to be a dust tight seal at the bottom, too, can't just place it upside down resting on the ground.  And then you've have to evacuate the heat from the tub, as well.

From the acclaim page it looks like that user's first block solve as well, way to go!
2210  Economy / Services / Re: [CAMPAIGN FULL] Rollin.io Twitter Campaign - Earn Up To .02 BTC Weekly on: May 29, 2015, 04:31:39 PM
Almost end of May but will Rollin.io continue Twitter campaign for June?

I'll second this question, with this being the end of the final week of May.  Will it continue with a new campaign next month?
2211  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I placed my 4 s3+ outside on: May 29, 2015, 04:26:40 PM
Dust, theives and other concerns but I would definitely make a makeshift cover out of maybe a plastic tub with large areas for air to leave but maybe disguise the units a bit more.

A plastic cover isn't going to keep the dust out, but it will keep the heat in.  The only way to stop dust is with air filtration, and it's pretty hard to filter all of the air outside.
2212  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Ckpool Solo Setup mark 2 - An alternative on: May 29, 2015, 04:25:21 PM
It's a neat idea, but I'm not to crazy about the whole "group solo" mining thing.  You're basically running a pool inside a solo pool.  Since Ck doesn't seem to mind then it's a non-issue I suppose, but all in all I'm not a fan.

I am really stuck on Question 8. Can someone please help me?

The correct answer is "indeterminate"; not enough information was given.  This is a valid (and correct) answer.

So far this is the first time since I started guessing that I've been on the right side of the +/-.
2215  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S5 + 3D printied mods on: May 29, 2015, 05:45:25 AM

If everyone that sales gives a little bit to OP this could lead into a really awesome forum thread.  If there is lot's of custom 3d printed parts for mining that make improvements.

I see this as a possible start of something really big.   Would be amazing to go here point to a file we want printed for out miners and pay someone with ability to do it.

Totally, this could turn into something really cool, and bitcoin is the perfect way to pay for it all. Smiley

I had that problem, and here is the solution that was posted that worked for me (#2):

First try these steps:
1) Run the app as administrator and try to update
2) If 1 doesn't work, Navigate to: C:\cryptroglance\application\. If there is an "update" folder, delete it and try to run the update again.

Wow, a 174G and a 249G share, impressive!

More impressive, though, is that 5 solo blocks fell in just a few days.  Go go solo solves.

Very nice work with the air ducting, I bet that's a huge difference.  I have an S1 and S3, plan on getting an S5, and I've noticed how much cool air comes out the bottom of the S1, vs the enclosed design of the S3.

Any plans to sell the top and bottom pieces?  I bet people would buy them.

These are the same idiots that think cloud condensation behind jet airplanes is someone spraying something on them.

That next comet impact extinction event can't come soon enough.
2220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: May 28, 2015, 04:01:59 PM
I use Bitcoin Core for my main wallet because it's the OG and I like using the original.

On my Android phone I use Bitcoin Wallet because it's lightweight and does not rely on any 3rd party nonsense.
