$481 and rising... Wink
2222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of mining the cheapest bitcoin on: September 07, 2014, 11:29:02 PM
Another point.

With all mining you need to be the first to have the miner to get good profits.
This means you need to preorder possible scam products and hope they produce it and deliver it on time for it to be worth while.

In essence there is also risk in mining upping the price aswell.

You may have mistaken a . for a ,?  Wink
haha you are right, I now internationalized it removing thousands separator completely.

You may have mistaken a . for a ,?  Wink
USA = ,
EU = .

how to they express 0.1 then?
0,1 Smiley

silly, just silly.

 Cheesy

You're silly...

Great Britain and the United States are two of the few places in the world that use a period to indicate the decimal place. Many other countries use a comma instead. The decimal separator is also called the radix character. Likewise, while the U.K. and U.S. use a comma to separate groups of thousands, many other countries use a period instead, and some countries separate thousands groups with a thin space.

Be careful not to fall into the fake rally trick the elite bitcoiners will try to sell you!
It will crash to 200-250 within 2 days! You have been warned!
Get out now and don't be the bag holder of silly magic internet money! It's not real!!!

You will look like a fool to your grand children when you grow old, whitout any money to support them!

Your last prediction turned out the same as this one....  Cheesy
2225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did bitcoin failed? on: September 07, 2014, 10:47:43 PM
I still do not even now understand why people seem to think bitcoin has in actual fact failed just because the price is still at a low right now. When bitcoin fails it will take more than just a price drop to make people realise it has, this is something that will eventually change and does not prove that bitcoin has failed.

As a get-rich-quick scheme it is arguable that it has failed  Grin
2226  Economy / Speculation / Re: falling to $470 within hours on: September 07, 2014, 09:58:55 PM
Order books only show what is on the books. This is not a reflection of the true support and resistance.
2227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did bitcoin failed? on: September 07, 2014, 09:55:24 PM
You call Bitcoin a ponzi scheme and say it has failed.

Fiat money that governments have a printing monopoly on, isn't a ripoff scheme?
You can't buy drugs, nukes and childporn with fiat?

The usage of bitcoin and bitcoin itself are not the same.

You're arguments are weak.
2228  Economy / Economics / Re: Ecuadorean Virtual Currency? on: September 07, 2014, 09:32:16 PM
I didn't read up on the article but I too say that they should just adopt bitcoin.

I however would understand a countrycoin if they add automatic transaction tax. Instead of current tax regulations just tax a small percentage of every transaction to pay for the facilities that your contry provides.
2229  Economy / Economics / Re: How profitable is BTC daytrading? on: September 07, 2014, 09:16:40 PM
I've started trading a while ago using btc-e with metatrader. I'm building experts now to make money.

My view:

1. Daytrading will almost always result in big loss. This is due to the high volatility and violent swings. To make any profit you should look at daily charts and not 1minute charts.

2. Stoploss can get hit by dumpers or pumpers (when shorting) causing loss when you could have made a profit. But than again trends can change as quickly so you cant be certain on a rebound.

3. Every trading pair requires it's own ta. StochRSI works on some and bolingerbands on others, etc.

Yes the market allows for trading but volume is usually too low for daytrading.
2230  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's the year 2020 on: September 07, 2014, 08:35:06 PM
2020 is 6 years from now. 10btc is now $4800. A pessimistc 100% per year would make that 4800*2^6= $302000 a 500% per year would make 4800*6^6=$224M

I voted a castle because I want one Wink
2231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Traders nothing left to dump? on: September 07, 2014, 08:13:21 PM
Fallling is an ass but I do admire his trolling attempts. If his true reason is creating a botton and shaking weak hands I applaude him. However I think he is truely a butthurt attention whore Wink
2232  Economy / Speculation / Re: buy bitcoin by cost avraging it for the next 2 years on: September 06, 2014, 09:25:16 PM
I disagree with people already anticipating this "halving" situation.  I've been following BTC for 2 years and investing in BTC for 1 year now.  This is the first time I've read about it, and I've done a decent amount of research.  Yes, within the loyal followers, but I still run into people (all the time) who haven't heard of BTC.

Anyone seriously into Bitcoin knows how Bitcoin gets it's value and thus the halving imo. Maybe it's because I started with mining.

Difficulty is also dynamic so, halving andless miners can cause difficulty to halve and thus maintaining current supply.
2233  Economy / Speculation / Re: So we get that btc will eventually "rise" on: September 06, 2014, 09:19:09 PM
I think Litecoin will become a good secondary coin. Most others will fail or die.
2234  Economy / Speculation / Re: buy bitcoin by cost avraging it for the next 2 years on: September 05, 2014, 11:17:30 AM
Halving talk has been here for 6 months and I do believe some people have already bought coins as a sure rise around 2016 seems inevitable. I do hope l'm an early bird and the pump is yet to begin  Grin
2235  Economy / Speculation / Re: buy bitcoin by cost avraging it for the next 2 years on: September 05, 2014, 10:56:09 AM
People will all think the same and try to get in earlier than the other people. Ergo no spike.
2236  Economy / Speculation / Re: You'd better sell when APPLE competes with bitcoin.. on: August 31, 2014, 10:01:49 PM
I have never purchased an Apple product and I strongly suspect I never will.

I feel you I hate Apple too. I found an ipad once and must admit it does work nicely. I do hate the fact that Apple products come with a eula in which you sell your soul and they want your creditcard number right after you boot the device  Sad

Still wouldnt buy an overpriced apple product.

2238  Economy / Speculation / Re: You'd better sell when APPLE competes with bitcoin.. on: August 31, 2014, 09:54:55 PM
Smart move by Apple even though I hate Apple.
Problem is that they will need to work together with banks or get a bank license themselves.
Bitcoin will survive because it will remain more anonymous.

Apple would do better if they create bitcoin integration and take commission on each transaction applehipsters make.
2239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 31, 2014, 08:49:20 AM
Or a whale burning off money to create a volume spike in a specific direction hoping people and bots will follow.
Or some whale negotiated different fees and is HFTing the shit out of the market.
2240  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin failed to rise again, get ready for the incoming big crash on: August 30, 2014, 05:17:49 PM
It's easy: falllling got out of Bitcoin and just wants it to fail now so he won't regret getting out of it. He doesn't have the nerves of riding the wave all the way so he got out and hopes for it to fail completely! Simple Smiley

It's called butthurt
