1521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historic BITCOIN recovery. will it be 5000% next? on: February 01, 2018, 01:58:26 PM
Let's assume we go down to $6000 and recover using your historic values

$6k and 400% = $24k
$6k and 4200% = $252k

Anywhere between $24k and $252k is good for me  Cool

Could you plot the average recovery time Tongue
1522  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could go down to $5,000 on: February 01, 2018, 09:30:26 AM
BTC could go down to $5,000. What do you think?

I think it is very difficult for this to happen, not impossible but it is difficult to happen especially if you observe that these events that caused the price to fall may be about to end so we can see the price recovering

South Korea Finance Minister Confirms ‘No Ban’ On Cryptocurrency

Quote from: =https://cointelegraph.com/news/south-korea-finance-minister-confirms-no-ban-on-cryptocurrency
“There is no intention to ban or suppress cryptocurrency (market),” he said in the statement.

so the fear that people had was going to end

These are the initiatives we need to:

Turkey: Football Chairman ‘Proud’ To Hire Player For Bitcoin In New First

OMFG!!!!  $528 investment in Bitcoin .....  :-|
1523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dip history on: February 01, 2018, 09:27:04 AM
Bitcoin grew more than 1000 folds and market is speculative in growing too fast these dips are indications for new money coming in this time BTC price will grow to 25000 dollars before march

Let's be realistic, it will go up but $25k by march is a bit optimistic. I like unicorns but that doesn't make them real Smiley
1524  Economy / Speculation / Re: People keep saying HODL but are they really hodling? on: February 01, 2018, 09:22:37 AM
Holding here  Grin.
Yes went from $19k to <$10k but then again I came from the three digit era so I'm not panicking since this isn't my first crash.

It is true that holders like me have their bitcoins as far away from the internet or trading sites as possible Smiley
Don't want to become a statistic (MtGox, BTCe, etc..). Lost some at BTC-e Cry

HODL has another great upside and that's what I will call "Coinbreeding" which is the art of holding Pre-Fork coins like BTC and gaining on not only BTC but also all the forks...  Cool

FORKS ARE COMING !! .... (insert Game of Thrones meme)
1525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historic BITCOIN crash on: February 01, 2018, 09:13:10 AM
Some high-rollers are having fun with Buy/Sell walls.
Eat dem coinz Smiley
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: January 31, 2018, 08:24:39 AM
Bitcoin is showing good and favourable price index. we can expect good results from it in the nearest months coming up.

Why bitcoin over alt coins? Especially considering the transaction and scaling problems of bitcoin.

It's all down to the infrastructure and scaling it to the number of users

- ATMs
- Shops
- Trading
- ICOs
- Mining rigs
- Enhancements (Lightning network, etc.)
- etc. (loads of investors)

As for transactions the price of transactions is dropping rapidly.
As for scalability, Bitcoin is scalable, it only has problems with these stupid-money surges.

As for altcoins, they usually don't bring much to the table and act as an overflow for Bitcoin.
When a Bitcoin surge bogs down Bitcoin people jump onto altcoins....
Just think about Dogecoin in the last Bitcoin 'crash'. Dogecoin was going to be bigger than Bitcoin ... where is it ? nowhere!

Conclusion: Bitcoin will survive Smiley
1527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apocalypse BTC! How low will it go? on: January 31, 2018, 08:17:52 AM
10k is here to stay Smiley
1528  Economy / Speculation / Re: best indicators to use to predict bitcoin price direction? on: January 06, 2018, 09:39:33 AM
Bitcoin is too volatile.

Look at the 1w chart EMA crossovers. that in general is the direction. However this is slow trading.
1529  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin rise up to $30k in 2 months? on: January 06, 2018, 09:34:23 AM
So Mark is going to use the blockchain to make Facebook decentral and not controlled by a single organization.
Ahhhh no we just point at the government and blame them for doing exactly the same.... creating a monopoly.

IMO a company can never use a blockchain unless they give away full control to the user and only support the network.

In most situations we are talking about a supplychain and not a blockchain.
1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Bets His Manhood that BTC will reach $1 mil by 2020 on: January 05, 2018, 12:02:52 AM
He's probable preaching his own fortune. Anyway I'm on the profit train Smiley
1531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is rising again... on: January 02, 2018, 02:50:36 AM
Sideways for now ... maybe another dip .... but after that we go up again.
1532  Economy / Speculation / Re: US Inflation on: January 02, 2018, 02:48:46 AM
The US dollar is built on debt.
There is more debt than money.
The system was made to accept an ever growing debt....

Nobody needs BTC to fix the US dollar because the US dollar is working as built.
But it would be cool to see a country as the US using Bitcoin to get their economy boosted Smiley
1533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin domination era is over? on: January 02, 2018, 02:44:59 AM
As long as people are building Bitcoin infrastructure (ATMs, payment systems, etc.)
As long as Companies are building trading platforms, ICO's, future markets, etc.
As long as drugs are sold in BTC.

I think we still have some growth...
1534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins Next Stop $50,000 on: January 01, 2018, 01:58:43 PM
50K Amen Smiley
1535  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will Bitcoin stop its correction? on: December 27, 2017, 11:06:53 AM
I don't think the price corrections of bitcoin will never stop. Its the nature of the bitcoin, its volatility and that nature cannot be stopped. As soon as the price is pumped expect a price correction to happen.

Only when we are all replaced by robots, will Bitcoin become a perfect straight line  Grin Grin Cheesy Grin Grin
1536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: December 27, 2017, 11:05:16 AM
Seems like many people think you are an idiot OP. Holding is the best way to go for most of us. Don't listen to this clown he only wants you to try trading and lose.

There is a place for traders but that is a select few that know what they are doing, calculate risks and don't get emotional where things go bad.

HODL = GOOD
TRADE = GOOD
GREED = BAD
1537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 27, 2017, 10:59:32 AM
WHO LET THE TROLLS OUT ... WHO....WHO.WHO.WHO. !!!
1538  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BITCOIN POPS? on: December 27, 2017, 10:54:21 AM
What happens IF bitcoin pops?  Have you been in a coma in your local hospital for the last two weeks?

Yep. In the last 2 weeks it popped all the way up to an ATH, then popped down in a lovely beartrap and popped right back back up to where it was 2 weeks ago.

Poppity pop.  Roll Eyes

Really? From what I can see it’s still worth $5,000 less than it was two weeks ago. It’s lost one quarter of its value in under two weeks. Why would anyone trust a currency that moves by one quarter of its value that fast? However, for a speculators play toy that’s great.

It's all down to supply and demand. Recently the infratructure of Bitcoin has burped back telling us that it cannot handle crazy surges with crazy money.
What happened.

Crazymoney people buy because they heard Bitcoin was going up.
Whales take profits and push down price.
Crazymoney people get scared and sell and push down price.
Whales buy back in at low prices.
Price goes back to normal.
Crazymoney people are bagholders.
Whales made profit.

So in short .... Bitcoin was getting circle jerked by amateur YOLO investors. Whales win Smiley

Note: Crazymoney is people that go in, in full TARD or gamble mode. Buying with what they cannot afford to lose.
1539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach $100K , Bitcoin Cash will reach 10k before Feb ... LTC 5000$ on: December 27, 2017, 10:46:27 AM
So.. what's your source? Do you have a magical crystal ball?

Exactly. This is what I find wrong about posts like these. If he's going to make a load of claims, at least he can have some logic backing it up.

OP why do you believe that Bitcoin will be the stronger coin than both BCH and LTC? It may seem obvious to you but I'm sure there's at least a few people asking the same question. Furthermore, why is your projection for bitcoin so high? Exponential growth is never sustainable in the long term, and here I think there will eventually be an ultimate downfall for bitcoin.

These threads are to get reactions and give the OP the feeling he is not alone and will see profit.

Where he is actually cry-wanking in the shower thinking "why did I buy at 19k  Cry  HELP! Cry"

FEAR NOT OP we will go up  Cool
1540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: December 27, 2017, 10:29:41 AM
Another reason why HODLing is smarter.

YOU CAN STORE THEM OFFLINE IN A PAPER WALLET.
and never get goxxed...

Just keep the paper wallet away from fire, dogs, etc Cheesy
