1761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is Illegal in Taiwan (China) on: November 22, 2015, 06:32:23 PM
.... it's only a matter of time when everyone will realize that bitcoin is actually the safest thing to have and use.

Lol Cheesy

That's like saying don't trust banks it's safer to have all your cash at home under your mattress.

Ever realize what will happen in a 100% bitcoin world when someone threatens you and steals your private key.
No police and no government to help you cause they've ceased to exist because you can't force people to pay tax...
Yep you end up dying in a gutter....

Bitcoin is as good as cash money or as gold. Want to have it, you must protect it. It should be valued and used as such.

Bitcoin will not replace the world economy in it's native form. It could function as a reserve currency for the banking system or as a cash replacement.

That sucks for all the bitcoin holders in Taiwan.

It is not controlled by any country or banking authority.

This is exactly why countries are banning bitcoin.

A world with no government (anarchy) is a bad thing. I'm not saying bitcoin is bad or fiat is good.
I can understand countries\governments having to figure out how to coexist with bitcoin.
Questions like how to raise tax so you can pay for roads or hospitals.

Banning bitcoin might be a way for them to buy time to figure out how they want to restructure.

How is "the drugs fucked up some of my neurons into believing crazy shit, the rest of my brain knows it's crazy shit, but I can't help believing it" not a more logical conclusion than a chemical substance magically giving you knowledge?

You do realize that practically all drugs (alcohol included) are basically poisons that make your brain cells go gaga, right?  It might be a very pleasant experience, but it ain't healthy.

You should try actually researching before you start lecturing people.  N,N-DMT and 5-MeO-DMT are both endogenous to the human body.

So drugs are good?!? Lol
1766  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Weekly Analysis - Emails - $10 per month (FREE for first two users) on: November 17, 2015, 11:46:48 PM
Start with free analysis before asking money. Sounds scammy to me from a 6 post account.
1767  Economy / Speculation / Re: That is it. Bitcoin is totally unpredictable. This market is fake. on: November 16, 2015, 11:08:47 PM
Do you guys think market manipulation could be involved in Bitcoin's unpredictability.

Bitcoin is very predictable because the supply and demand are very constant.
The only unpredictability is the people trading and mining bitcoin and not bitcoin itself.

It isn't only market manipulation, it is also our trust in Bitcoin
- Bitcoin is young and hasn't been around like normal money.
- Bitcoin is being traded by different cultures around the world with different trading ideologies.
1768  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are your views on Bitcoins future on: November 16, 2015, 10:57:07 PM
If bitcoin becomes the gold standard for internet payment then we still need good escrow services.
1769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Illuminati End Game Started --- effects on BTC on: November 16, 2015, 10:48:10 PM
The attacks were assassination attempts on Satoshi Nakamoto. They believe he is in France. ISIS is a government cover up to blame mulims (aluminum hat area)
1770  Economy / Speculation / Re: That is it. Bitcoin is totally unpredictable. This market is fake. on: November 16, 2015, 12:24:51 AM
A fake market would be figuring out that a front running exchange has been lying about volume and price to get people into gold-rush mode.
Then faking a market crash so people would be anxious to get out. Then keeping the difference for yourself Smiley

Hey this sounds like MtGOX only they screwed up doing this  Undecided
1771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price: + OR - the next 7 days? on: November 16, 2015, 12:20:17 AM
We have entered a bull market so we are going up  Smiley.
Because a lot of people have been screwed in the last bubble I think a lot of people have become cautious.
Quite some people will jump off the train after they get back what they invested during the bubble.

Therefore I believe we will have a slow ascent to €1300 in the oncoming 6 or so months.
1772  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are your views on Bitcoins future on: November 16, 2015, 12:14:46 AM
Bitcoin has a near perfect economical model which turns labor into value as money should be valued.
Too bad the world we live in is not perfect and will never work as perfect as we would want it to work.
Bitcoin is as perfect as cash or as gold. Both gold and cash have drawbacks too mostly that people can steal them from you.

I do think Bitcoin has a future but not as a sole currency but more as cash or gold.

One of the major reasons why bitcoin will never become the sole store of value are the following situations....
- Getting a mortgage: Go to a bank? NO banks do not exist in a perfect bitcoin world.
- Benefits for disabled: Go to the government? Where do they get their bitcoins from?!? Tax ?!? How do you tax a potentially invisible currency?

For Bitcoin to make it as a sole currency the world and our cultures must change quite considerably first. I don't see that happening in our lives...

I believe that relying solely on Bitcoin would currently require anarchy which looks great on paper but doesn't work.

Bitcoin can do a lot for us now but it will never be the only currency.

This is link promotion....
1774  Economy / Speculation / Re: That is it. Bitcoin is totally unpredictable. This market is fake. on: November 15, 2015, 10:22:07 PM
Welcome to the world of unregulated currency trading.
1775  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are your views on Bitcoins future on: November 15, 2015, 10:20:06 PM
I don't think it will replace any currently existing fiat currencies, but it definitely can co-exist with other fiat currencies to get the best of both sides. It will be a very successful alternative way of making payments and storing of wealth.

True it will never replace non-virtual money, however a key aspect of a currency is it uniqueness. Being the no.1 virtual currency gives it trust and usabillity when more and more shops etc. start adopting it.

+1
1776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some hardcore bitcoin users don't believe in its 2020 glory, Why? on: November 13, 2015, 08:16:24 PM
The main reason is that 2020 will be the year that all viable bitcoin mining will have been done.
Bitcoin will enter a new phase.

What will happen to bitcoin transactions if people stop mining?
I've read up on this but it is still fuzzy to me.
To my understanding miners mining a block get the transaction fees when running a full client on the internet.

So if that is the case how high are the transaction fees?!!?
The transaction fees are defined by the client and can be set to any value.
As you can see this is something that will have to sort itself.

Nowadays transaction fees are a nice bonus on mining a block
As you can see this will become the sole income of transaction verifiers (miners).

So 2020 is a good moment to look at what your coins are worth and look at the future and make a decision to HODL or SODL!

1777  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin go to $500 on: November 13, 2015, 07:44:19 PM
Bitcoin is too interesting to SODL!!

As a friend of mine once said "Even if it goes down the shitter at least one day we will be able to say 'WE WERE THERE AND WE HAVE BITCOINS!!' "
1778  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: November 13, 2015, 06:48:29 PM
Save some bitcoin. You don't want to be the guy who bought the million dollar pizza ;-)
1779  Economy / Speculation / Re: masterluc PLEASE come back ... on: November 13, 2015, 06:38:11 PM
Why do you need masterluc?

Let's look at some basic TA like the 1week EMA on a logarithmic scale on bitcoinwisdom....
Then ask yourself, where does this look like it's going...  Roll Eyes

This is the third time a crossing has happened and 50% of the time it has gone ballistic. So we are either in for a ride or it will end up going sidewaysish.

In 6 weeks we will know if history repeats itself. So January will be promising.

50% of the time in two cases is not real convincing. Could be due to luck with such a small sample size...

Doesn't mean I don't agree with you though Wink The line crossing is very exciting and I expect it to run its course in full!

I agree that having three crossings isn't a statistically convincing population Cheesy
1780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reserve currency price - 2030 on: November 13, 2015, 04:56:46 PM
It is a novel idea that bitcoin could become a reserve currency.
I believe this will never happen because current societies are nowadays all based on debt.
We will have to go back in time, to the point where our leaders said "f*ck gold and silver let's print".

I do believe that bitcoin will be a true store of value like gold and silver.
A way for corporations or people to store money without entrusting banks or other third parties.
